Wuppertal, Germany: Sodexo transporter immobilized

Posted on 2022/01/11 by darknights

“It is companies like Spie, WISAG, Massak, Sodexo […] that keep state rule alive through their pandering.”

In the darkness of 03.01. we slashed the tires of a Sodexo company car in Espenstraße in Wuppertal and dumped an oily liquid into the air vents.

Sodexo is one of the profiteers of the prison industry.

Since the privatization of the British justice system, the French company has been running five prisons in Great Britain with over 5000 inmates under its own responsibility. In other countries, such as France and Chile, services are provided by Sodexo in sections of various prisons. Sodexo supplies prisons with completely overpriced food and keeps the supply as low as possible, so that prisoners have no choice but to spend their little money for the profit of this company.

Already at the beginning of 2015, a letter of confession after an action against Sodexo in Berlin stated:
“On the other hand, Sodexo is blacklisted in Belgium for its involvement in deportation prisons and provides services to deportation camps in Germany. The company belongs to the Zehnacker Group, which presents itself as follows:

“As a partner of armed forces, we accompany them to their areas of operation at home and abroad. Our mission is to provide a better quality of life for both the troops and their leadership. Under the supervision of the Ministry of Justice, Sodexo designs and provides solutions that contribute to smooth operations in correctional facilities. In all our activities, we respect our values and our ethical principles. Our work in this area is further evidence of our strong commitment to society.” [https://chronik.blackblogs.org/?p=572]

In Bavaria, Sodexo offered a “payment card” for refugees together with Wirecard, until the latter’s insolvency [https://www.sueddeutsche.de/muenchen/erding/erding-ersatz-fuer-den-kommunal-pass-gesucht-1.5040997 / https://www.merkur.de/lokales/erding/erding-ort28651/erding-nach-wirecard-insolvenz-funktioniert-erdinger-kommunalpass-nicht-mehr-13815364.html].

Because the company in Saxony-Anhalt, as a service provider, benefits from a voucher system as a means of sanctioning refugees, Sodexo was attacked in Halle in April 2018 [https://chronik.blackblogs.org/?p=7932].

Worldwide, the company is attacked again and again, for example in Canada [https://ausdemherzenderfestung.noblogs.org/post/2019/04/05/quebec-kanada-angriffe-gegen-die-welt-der-knaeste-und-ihre-kollaborateure/] or in Chile [https://www.anarchistfederation.net/attack-against-sodexo/].

Sodexo stands for a prison system in which people keep dying. Prison management, the judiciary, the police and the media then often reflexively speak of “suicide” and the responsibility of the prison is rejected.
But since their existence, prisons have been there to silence those who do not fit into the prevailing logic or who oppose it. Prisons isolate people from society. Through isolation from the outside world. Through exploitation. They literally destroy the prisoners. They torture and kill. Under prison conditions, there can never be any question of so-called suicide.

In December, a 42-year-old died in the prison in Wuppertal-Vohwinkel and a 17-year-old in the juvenile prison in Wuppertal-Ronsdorf. On November 1, Georgios died after a brutal arrest in police custody at the Wuppertal Regional Court.

Every death in jail, custody or by police is one too many.
We will not let these murders go unanswered!

For the revolt against the state, its social order and prisons!
Freedom and happiness to the prisoners!

Solidarity greetings to those who fight against this prison society.
Solidarity greetings to the squatters in Osterholz!

For a subversive 2022 full of surprises.
Long live anarchy (A)
