DETENTION REPORT

This document details the amount of cases currently being handled by Palang Hitam. If we had more funds at our access we would be able to provide more support for the other cases we continue to be made aware of. Please contact palanghitam (no scums) riseup (acab) net if you can help us help the comrades in prison. It is needed to supply the prisoners with funds for their costs, for their families, those who need it, and for those who need lawyers as the police appointed lawyers work with the cops and prosecutors to screw the defendants. When we are able to employ the professional lawyers, the torture and abuse is able to be stopped. This is important as many of the defendants are being hurt and threatened until they give false testimony. In one case in Surabaya, one young man died from his injuries due to torture. The Densus88 anti-terrorist unit are mapping the anarchist movement and its internal relationships using threats and torture. The unit are using widespread data surveillance and spyware software, which they send to blogs and social media accounts to infiltrate the phones and devices of the comrades. We recommend the use of computer and phone security, realizing its limits. Indonesian officials are reported to have attended the summit convened by the American administration against the “far-left terrorism” and we remind all those on the streets and those in cyberspace to remain aware to the strong possibility of further repression. When revolutions go half way, we dig our own graves.
