Amur Region
Although authorities did not officially name the cause of the fire in the military registration and enlistment office in the Amur Region’s Svobodny village on 22 March, there is every reason to believe that it was caused by the actions of Amur guerrillas. The fire was extinguished by two fire engines. In September 2022 an attempt to burn the military registration and enlistment office in the village of Svobodny, at that time only the facade was burnt, now the attempt has been more successful.
Yaroslavl
On 23.03. there was a fire at the Yaroslavl motor plant Avtodizel. The plant manufactures engines for the Topol-M missile systems. It is reported that the electrical substation was the first to catch fire, burning transformer oil over an area of 30 square meters. Seven people were rescued by firemen from the burning building, another 218 people were evacuated by the site administration.
Fires at the plant have happened more than once. We have no information about the cause of this fire, but we hope that the production of military equipment was well damaged.
North Ossetia, Ingushetia
On the night of March 27-28, guerrillas attacked the police checkpoint Volga-14 and the police returned fire. The attack took place on the border of the two republics, but in North Ossetia, at the intersection of Nazran – Kantyshevo and Malgobek – Mayskoe roads. It was the first attack in the region in more than three years.
