“Did you eat anything that was bad for you?” inquired Bernard.
The savage nodded, “I ate civilization.”

OPPRESSION: AN ENDEMIC EVIL OF OUR EXISTENCE
– BRIEF HISTORY –
State or pseudo-state oppression dates back thousands of years, and has had very precise stages that begin with the birth of the first cities, which then evolved into city-states, kingdoms, empires.
Those who chose to live outside these “organizations” could live as they wished.
With the French revolution was born the first modern government, centralized, homologating that cancels uses, customs and habits in spite of the directives of parliament.
Revolts and resistances to this change were fierce and equally fierce were repressed.
The industrial revolution arrived, the mother of all revolutions.
With it came the foundations of capitalism, which evolved into what it is today.
Unlike the states, capitalism knows no boundaries as well as the riots against it throughout the 800 and most of the 900 interested Europe and the United States.
In the present day, science comes into the picture, as a partner of state and capital.
Technological advancement is another tool evolved by capitalism, generates profit and opens new doors to industrial development.
From carriages to cars, from rural agriculture to mechanized agriculture, from wars with bow and arrow to wars with drones.
Scientists have always been ready to lend their help to authority and repression, refining the means of propaganda such as radio, TV, press, internet and arming the states with deadly and destructive weapons.
Companies such as Ansaldo Nucleare, Piaggio Aerospace, Leonardo, IIT, ENI are the pride of the Italian state as regards the development of war, technology and energy.
But for us anarchists are the personification of evil and as such must be destroyed for the abominations of which they are guilty.
Each of these companies are synonymous with war, devastation and repression.
The IIT as well as the MIT of Boston are working on the creation of sophisticated bipedal and quadrupedal robots adaptable even during repression, which is already happening in the United States.
On December 24, 2018 IIT was attacked by FAI/FRI IMMEDIATE ACTION GROUP
we report a passage from the claim:
<< [The IIT] Carries out neuroscience studies, “brain thecnologies” and genetic research for the manipulation of the living. Active in the field of nanotechnology, it carries out research on nanomaterials and their use, as well as on the development of materials to convert and store energy, of which today’s production system needs in huge quantities to maintain the speed of the mad race of progress. […] At the service of capital and of the police state that ensures it, it is engaged in the realization of “computer vision” systems useful for identification and social control.>>
In short, the iit always tries to show a clean face by talking about robots that will help the elderly, research against cancer or smart bracelets called iFeel-You to monitor the safety distance between people in times of pandemic, these all initiatives to be fought anyway, but the true nature of this monster we know it and who that December 24, 2018 decided to knock on the doors of the iit, already had very clear many things.
Leonardo and Piaggio Aerospace “simply” build weapons of war to sell to the rest of the world:
Ammunition, missiles, torpedoes, artillery, targeting systems, military cargo planes, F-35s, drones, aircraft engine assembly and testing, warplane engine parts construction, space technologies, and we want to stop there.
A few months ago Leonardo has also made a pact of collaboration with iit.
Eni together with Shell and Chevron, just to name a few, devastate and pollute around the planet generating internal wars and poverty in the territories where they extract oil.
Ansaldo Nucleare, like all of the companies mentioned above, needs no introduction, the name already says it all.
They produce nuclear power plants and provide assistance to the nuclear energy sector.
Hiroshima and Naghasaki, the nuclear weapons tests begun in 45 by the United States in the Pacific and Nevada, continuing with those of the then Soviet Union in Kazakhstan and Ukraine, France in Mururoa and then Chernobyl and Fukushima.
It is evident that these atrocious experiences, and many others not mentioned, have taught atomic scientists nothing.
Fortunately, every now and then, a small wave of the ocean of pain that they produce comes back to them, and we can’t help but remember the courageous gesture of two of our brothers, Alfredo and Nicola, who in May nine years ago kneecapped the then CEO of Ansaldo Nucleare, Roberto Adinolfi, in Genoa. A real joy!
But even so, wars, atomic bombs, devastation and pollution of the Earth loom as a perpetual holocaust. The continuous and massive state propaganda has managed to pass off as good, neutral and necessary the performance of these factories of death.
The result of this brief historical analysis is that today we live in a society that is anything but idyllic, on the contrary, for some people every day is a real hell and those responsible for this have names and surnames.
As far as the future is concerned, well, the future will certainly not be rosy, the premises were written millennia ago and are having their natural course that also passes through our days.
It is up to us to forcefully insert ourselves, in time and space, and interrupt, even if only briefly, this continuous flow of tyrannical events.
The means, the ideas and the courage are there, so, come on!!!
SMART MEDIEVAL
A building site, a road, are worth a garrison supported an English general committed to colonize regions and countries.
In the West, in the new millennium, we are witnessing another type of colonization, the technological and industrial one that must occupy every place, stretching its tentacles everywhere.
This octopus, starting from the cities, unravels its coils until it reaches the highest peaks.
No second thoughts even in front of worrying warnings such as climate change, epidemics and pollution, on the contrary, all ahead with the wind in our sails and confidence in science and in the much vaunted progress.
That progress that makes us speed through the streets of cities with electric cars and scooters, that gets us drunk with more and more “new generation” devices, that occupies the skies with drones and satellites, that wants us to participate in green revolutions advising us to install solar panels in our homes, wind turbines and pylons in the garden or 5G antennas on the roof.
Some of these inventions could not exist without materials such as cobalt, lithium or silicon.
These elements are the heart and battery of every electronic device and are critical to the production of solar panels.
Thousands of women, men, and children – from the Democratic Republic of Congo, to Bolivia, Argentina, and Chile – are exploited for less than two dollars a day in the mines that extract these minerals.
Apple, Microsoft, Samsung, Sony, Tesla, BMW, FCA are just some of the brands that fatten their accounts in conbutta with their governments, sponsoring green technology as a mantra, giving it the weight of “last chance to save the planet from catastrophe” – for which they are responsible – but at the expense of real slaves.
Not to mention the “great works”:
super roads and new railways that pierce entire mountains, ports that expand by pouring tons of concrete into the sea for the docking of cruise ships or huge cargo ships, repeaters that disfigure landscapes and destroy ecosystems, and even shopping malls, airports, industries, atomic power plants.
In this text you will not find trade union claims, battles to boycott this or that brand, we are not looking for winks from well-thinking politicians or talks with the Pope. We have already spoken with the facts, here we limit ourselves to highlighting these “normal follies” of our time that serve the continuous subsistence of our bulimic capitalist society.
It must be said that in some cases these works are also contested by the populations that suffer them, but once the little resistance of a part of it – that even when it takes note of the problem – azzette it as a lesser evil or as the scotto to pay for a comfortable and irresponsible existence; and strengthened by a majority that invokes more comfort, more “well-being”, the system proceeds almost without a hitch.
If we think that with the excuse of Covid-19 governments have set up real police states, locking us up in our homes under house arrest. Some may have removed it from their minds as a form of defense for their psyche, others carry the scars – see the exponential increase in domestic violence and TSOs – others are no longer there, killed in prison or at home by their jailers.
And let’s not forget the deployment used by the Italian state against “its own citizens” to repress those inalienable forms of freedom de facto cancelled during the lockdown:
hundreds of checkpoints, thousands of fines, helicopters, drones, speedboats, mass monitoring via GPS of one’s cell phones, army, police, carabinieri, guardia di finanza, local police, civil protection, and as the icing on the cake, citizen-sheriff delusions.
Let’s also add the asphyxiating propaganda of politicians and journalists, who by occupying TV and social networks, have implanted in the minds of those who follow, fears of contagion and social paranoia.
This assault on the mainstream media has dealt a further blow to a society, already prostrated to the lowest material desires, that has nothing more to ask if not the password of WI-FI, in fact the counterattack to all this – apart from some scattered pockets of resistance – have been applause and songs from the balconies.
In short, the “gilded cage” in which the majority of western peoples are locked up is strongly desired, advocated and invoked.
Faced with all this, the exploited and the excluded struggle to carve out a better place for themselves, a position of privilege at any cost.
Whoever wants to, makes their own the motto of the “American way of life”.
This is why we stay away from participating in this or that claim struggle, hoping that they will turn into something else.
We are more interested in hitting what makes our imprisonment soft and comfortable, even when this goes against “our good”, goes against this glittering Middle Ages.
THE “SMART CITY”
Look at the world around you, what do you see?
An endless theme park where everything has been turned into entertainment.
Science, politics, education are as many fairground rides.
Sad as it is, people buy tickets and get on board.
These are the so-called “smart cities”, dotted with sensors, crossed by flows, by networks, populated by indistinct masses of connected users who hysterically tap on their devices in order not to lose contact with what they believe is reality.
Politicians, bureaucrats, but above all, scientists, want to pass the concept of smart city as a synonym of human evolution, something that makes easy every movement or thought that the individual imperceptibly hints at.
From urban roads to infrastructures, new technologies structure cities according to their own logic: efficiency and profit.
What emerges is an alienated, frenetic society, where the gap between rich and poor is increasingly accentuated and the surveillance of the individual is capillary.
From the logic of the smart city, the individual is perceived as a mere object of commerce, a trivial commodity like a packet of cookies, no longer a sentient human being with a sensitivity and critical property, but a simple “bar code” programmed to produce and consume. Science has long been studying how not to let it die.
Here too, a large part of the West has accepted and believed in these junk dreams, then revealed to be “chains”, and can no longer do without them; the smartphone is the most striking example.
Now an extension of our body – a true example of transhumanism – the smartphone, with all its amusement park attractions, catapults us into a state of somnambulism and sets us up as promoters of that social peace for which Western governments rub their hands.
If one half of the world dies of genocidal wars, hunger and various diseases, the other half advances without realizing it towards its own brain death – “the prisoner who polishes his chains” – a perfect metaphor for a spoiled and dissociated society.
The smart city is the daughter of the scientist, egotist and selfish thinking that prevails in this part of the world, humility is a rare commodity, we do not want to understand that we are the result of an accident of nature, we think instead of being the center of the universe or even any god.
Obtusely, chasing in time the ideology of “progress”, we continue to live in a society-prison with a mild regime modeled by previous generations of “prisoners”, but in one way or another in our way, sometimes we escape and when we do
we can say, “Today we lived!”
ATTACK!
As anarchists we place ourselves in conflict with the existent, in continuous self-criticism and criticism of what ‘that surrounds us, never losing sight of that founding pair of anarchist tension:
theory and action.
At a time when our instances and practices are alien to the “popular masses”,
we do not wait for “mature moments”, we attack here and now, informally and without any political calculation.
Our usual enemies, women and men of authority, are always refining their arsenal of iron, silicon and plastic, and we must never lose heart.
There are many ways to strike at our enemy, but we have chosen violent revolutionary action!
Propaganda with fact is the philosophy we espouse, and we will perpetrate it until we walk on the rubble of this plastic society.
Let direct actions serve as a compass for all those whose hearts burn and who have the desire to release their flames of anger and revenge against what oppresses them.
Anyone can do it, just want to.
We did it on the night of July 18, sabotaging with fire two repeaters.
We don’t chase deadlines, we act according to our times, but it is a coincidence that in this period is the twentieth anniversary of the beautiful days of revolt of the G8 in Genoa and the tragic death of Carlo Giuliani.
In these 20 years, politicians, leaders and politicians of the movement, priests and even the family of Carlo, have vomited on those days – some reformist and untruthful analysis, some real slander on the person of Carlo.
We may be wrong, but it is likely that the same analyses will be repeated in the days to come.
We want to remember him giving him the dignity he deserves, without hypocrisy, far from idolatries:
Carlo, actively participating in the riots of those days – and specifically in Piazza Alimonda – while wearing a balaclava, was trying to hurl a fire extinguisher inside a carabinieri truck but a filthy servant of the state murdered him with a blow to the head.
The flames that we released last night to burn those two limbs of domination, we want to dedicate them to Carlo and to all the rebels and revolutionaries in the world who have fallen fighting for freedom, equality, social justice.
These are some principles that are part of what we, philosophically – and with our means – practically, call Social War.
