In the early hours of Tuesday, January 10, far from assembly fanfare, a van at the University of Lugano was attacked with fire in solidarity with fellow anarchist Alfredo Cospito who has been on hunger strike for 83 days.
The choice of the faculty was not accidental, in fact the complex that was attacked houses classrooms and offices of the Faculty of Computer Science (www.inf.usi.ch) of the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences (www.biomed.usi.ch/it), the Department of Innovative Technologies of SUPSI (www.supsi.ch/dti/) and the Dalle Molle Institute of Artificial Intelligence Studies (IDSIA)(www.idsia.ch).
Against the increasingly deadly future proposed by society and civilization, the only viable path is that of attack.

A warm greeting to those who find themselves birds of the forest
May this little hearth warm you

Death to the technoworld
The Palestinian’s lining up at the checkpoint near Hebron are being watched by the occupying army of the the IDF, but the child in the line looks up hesitantly at another eye, one that is not human, that of the camera, of the artificial intelligence powered gun that watches his every move.
If the repressive control of the wall that devides up the occupied Palestinian region is not enough, now they are watched over by automated weaponry supplied by Israel’s very own designer, developer, and manufacturer of AI weaponry Smart Shooter. The IDF claim that the gun only fires non-lethal projectiles such as tear gas or plastic bullets. We do not need to be reminded that the Israeli military’s word means nothing, the countless Palestinians that have died rising up against the occupying forces are testimony to what non-lethal means, just as any police force around the world, that are all resembling their own armed forces more and more.
The Smart Shooter gun relies upon facial and gesture recognition, that if it is deemed an agressive act or any act out of the ordinary is recorded, the automated weapon will fire on its own accord. This is the insanity of a techno-prison world we have arrived at now, where the prison that has been built around Palestine will now be guarded by all kinds of automation and robots. A kind of digital dehumanisation is occuring in the existence we occupy, where all actions, all decisions are being removed, even that of life and death.
The Israeli far-right state is no stranger to its use of technology to repress those who resist it. The Israeli security forces have used drones to drop tear gas on rioters and protesters several times on the border, even recently in the brutal repression on the Temple Mount. The same military tech company Smart Shooter have supplied them with an armed drone system to hit stationary and moving targets while flying, named SMASH Dragon. With “One Shot – One Hit” precision, the SMASH is also based on Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning technologies, SMASH is also designed to interconnect with other operational resources to form a micro-tactical network that delivers real-time situational awareness. It can incorporate various types of assault rifles, sniper rifles, 40mm, and other ammunition. According to reports, the concept has completed live-fire testing and is at an “advanced stage of development.” Continue reading “‘Staring down the barrel of an artificially intelligent gun’”→
This conversation between Paul Cudenec and the Italian group Resistenze al nanomondo was first published in the July 2022 issue of the printed journal L’urlo della Terra and has recently also been made available online, again in Italian.
1. Resistenze al nanomondo: Can you can tell us about your story, your path, when you started developing a critique of techno-scientific developments and what thinkers you learned from?
Paul Cudenec: I don’t think I could separate my critique of techno-scientific developments from the rest of my opinions and analysis. I have been an anarchist for 30 years now, but even before then, in my youth, I felt a strong instinctive aversion to high-tech consumer society. On the one hand it was associated with everything that I most disliked – big business, the state, the military, authority and control in general. On the other hand it stood against everything that I most appreciated – nature, freedom, community, a sense of historical and cultural continuity. The arrival of CCTV cameras in England was a wake-up moment for me. I worked at the time as a journalist with a local newspaper in one of the first towns to have cameras installed and, since I knew for a fact that there was very little crime there, it was clear to me that this project was nothing to do with fighting crime, as was claimed, but was the roll-out of something much more sinister. I wrote a punk song about this in the mid-1990s (which I put online last year), warning about “the cameras that steal our liberty” and the techno-tyrants who were going to scan our DNA, put microchips in our brains and turn us into robots. With the local anarchist group, which I subsequently helped to create, we used to hold annual protests against the cameras, marking the anniversary of their installation as “Big Brother’s Birthday”.
As you will gather from the above, George Orwell was, unsurprisingly, an influence on me. The history of the Luddites was another inspiration (via Kirkpatrick Sale among others), along with anarcho-publications like Green Anarchist, SchNEWS, Do or Die, Anarchy: A Journal of Desire Armed and various EF! publications. I also read David Watson’s Against the Megamachine, Fredy Perlman’s Against His-story, Against Leviathan, the Unabomber Manifesto plus a lot by John Zerzan and Derrick Jensen. I have more recently been influenced by reading the likes of Miguel Amorós, Jacques Ellul, Theodore Roszak, Charlene Spretnak, Renaud Garcia… But intertwined with that thread of my self-education have been other inspirations. The English nature mystic Richard Jefferies has been very important to me, as has René Guénon, who combined his metaphysics with a strong critique of modernity. I have also read elsewhere about sufism, Taoism, comparative mythology, English folklore, Indian philosophy, German idealism, Jewish anti-capitalist romanticism, Jungian psychology… What interests me, above all, are the connections between these accounts and traditions, or rather, perhaps, the new space that is opened up for our reflection when we consider them together, in the same conceptual context. A CONTRIBUTION TO THE FOURTH INTERNATIONAL
MEETING AGAINST TECHNO-SCIENCES
Hi everyone!
Three years ago, when Resistenze al nanomondo took on the initiative to organize this annual and international meeting for the first time, I couldn’t have imagined what would follow in the years to come. In that very first meeting I tried to describe my thoughts and concerns on the ongoing fourth industrial revolution by focusing on the futuristic and technomaniac (gentrified) neo-theory of Singularity and what follows on from the transhumanist ideology and the practices of its priests.
Today, after more than two years of continuous health terror full of scaremongering propaganda, informational carpet bombing and psychological manipulation via humongous and humdrum lies, nefarious threats, blackmailing, curfews, lockdowns, punishment, hypocritical calls for “solidarity”, promises and “rewards”, we can clearly see what for many comrades – although they always seem to be just a few – was evident and foreseeable since decades or centuries: how the ruling class creates and/or exploits various successive “crises” under the guise of “states of emergency” to apply, impose or make desirable (by the populace) “new” technologies and techniques, but also to extend old and identical-to-the-core forms of psycho-social control and capitalist accumulation, lately going even up to the cellular and molecular levels of the human species by making our bodies living foundries and factories of protein production owned by the biotech pharmaceutical industry.
One thing is sure, two things are certain: a “new”, “green” and, of course, “safe and effective” nuclear power will be suggested to address the “energy crisis” as well as the “climate crisis”, while a huge push for the approval of “gene-edited” food passed off as non-GMO is underway supposedly to become the solution to a “food crisis” of some vague, obscure and undefined cause, or even the treatment of modern civilization diseases such as obesity, in the same way that “new” and – let’s repeat it with one voice – “safe and effective” gene therapies, in the form of injections that were deceitfully labeled and falsely accepted as vaccines, were introduced to deal with an alleged “health crisis”.
It should come as no surprise if the proposed solution to a possible surge of auto-immune or genetically inherited diseases, resulted from these incapacitating or deadly injections of genetic engineering and the generalized biotechnological omniviolence (spanning from genome editing of various species to bioweapons), would come from her majesty the “queen of all (pseudo-)sciences” Eugenics and the “safe and effective” way to come into the world would be growing GM embryos of medically assisted “procreation” and surrogate “gestation” in artificial wombs, i.e ex-vivo plastic bagssimulating the living functions of the maternal body. Let alone the scenario of artificial reproduction mandates, such like the “vaccine” mandates, becoming the “socially responsible” choice to have a child passed off as a “free and conscious” choice for the health of the social body, which eventually is about the health of the Machine.Continue reading “A Contribution to the Fourth International Meeting Against Techno-Sciences – Dino Giagtzoglou”→
Fanzine and review of the documentary on CLODO (Committee for the Liquidation or Destruction of Computers)
A documentary delves into the mystery surrounding a group of anonymous activists who carried out a series of arson attacks in Toulouse in the 1980s.
In the 1980s, the French city of Toulouse was home to a number of companies that used computers to further the aims of France’s police and military-industrial complex. These companies, such as Sperry Univac – a major U.S. equipment and electronics company – were among the first to create digital surveillance systems and manufactured products that would make warfare easier for the state by improving the accuracy of missiles.
In addition to housing these private military companies, Toulouse was also home to a milieu of radicals, including Spanish anti-fascists fleeing Franco; Action Directe guerrillas; and a new left forged in the aftershocks of May 1968, when students and workers staged a series of strikes that rejected the authority of the ruling Gaullist party and the orthodox Marxism of the French Communist Party.
It was in this context that an activist group called the Committee for the Liquidation Or Destruction of Computers (CLODO) emerged, which carried out several arson attacks against computers of military technology companies in Toulouse during the 1980s. Not much is known about CLODO. It disappeared completely after committing some six successful and two unsuccessful attacks against technology companies, leaving satirical communiqués as the only proof of its existence.
An introduction to the translation of one of its communiqués suggests that the group may have emerged from a citywide coalition to prevent the construction of the Golfech nuclear plant on the local Garonne River. In 1981, when this movement reached a stalemate, some participants resorted to an intensive campaign of sabotage. CLODO, who claimed to be computer workers, may have taken this sabotage impulse and applied it to computers, which in their view were “the preferred tool of the rulers. They are used to exploit, file, control and repress”. Continue reading “CLODO (…when matches were the “off” button)”→
Besançon (Doubs): The medical and judicial powers are relentless against Boris
In April 2020, our comrade and friend Boris set fire to the antennas of four cell phone operators, as well as those of the cops and the gendarmes on the Mont Poupet (Jura). Identified by DNA present on a bottle cap, he was incarcerated in September 2020 in the prison of Nancy, then sentenced in April 2021 to four years in prison, two of which are unsuspended. In a public letter written from prison*, he defended his act by his desire to oppose the increasing digitalization of our lives through direct action, with all the control, environmental and social ravages it implies. In August 2021, he was seriously injured in a cell fire, and has since been in the hands of the medical authorities. On the judicial side, his imprisonment was lifted at the time of the appeal trial of the following September (postponed sine die), while an enquiry, still in progress, was entrusted to a judge in Nancy in order to determine the causes of the fire and to investigate the eagerness of the screws to let our companion suffocate in his cell.
Alternating between artificial coma and semi-consciousness for a few months, Boris could not make his own decisions. The doctors were not without mistakes in their diagnoses, but always with unwavering confidence. At the beginning of March 2022, Boris was transferred from the “Grands Brûlés” wing of the Metz hospital to the intensive care unit of the Besançon CHRU, which in April decided to get rid of him by sending him to another unit that was not well suited to his situation, without his opinion having any importance. This decision, which had serious consequences and meant the abandonment of active care, was essentially motivated by the fact that no favourable evolution of his state of health was observed, following miserable statistical criteria. Clearly, these criteria take absolutely no account of the particular individual to whom they are applied in an absolute and chilling manner, even if he expresses his fierce will to continue to live and fight to get better. Taking advantage of his current quadriplegia, and despite the fact that he is able to speak, lucid and combative, the doctors decided not to resuscitate him if a new serious infection occurred. It was only by protesting and writing letters that they had to take into account his will to survive and resume a minimum of active care. We claim that the ATM sabotage action in the early hours of June 11 in Solo, Central Java and the vandalism in Sidoarjo, East Java were the individual actions of our conspirators.
“We see their problem as lack of ambition. – Aragorn!”
At times like this we are haunted by the values and products of the techno-industrial civilization that dominates us and even penetrates the joints of our lives, we carry out our daily activities which are definitely determined by civilized morality, even in anarchist social circles that still exist. Until now still glorifying these values, from this opportunity we draw a dividing line between those who are conformists and those who only rant but never spit those words out because they don’t need to be on our part!
“Anarchy does not mean to agree. – CCF”
With a fiery night we carried out the attack in solidarity with long-term anarchist prisoners everywhere, in particular Alfredo Cospito who is currently undergoing prison isolation and termination of correspondence, while simultaneously preserving the memory of our dear friend who has been arrested and is currently languishing for a very long time. behind bars. The defiant desires of those in prison (such as the practice of hunger strikes) inspire us and propelling us further towards the explosion of endless insurrection in every gap of the momentum to attack, in our opinion they are steadfast friends, even though they are very depressed by the chain of domination of the prisons of the techno-industrial society and state institutions.
We have seen various forms of solidarity from several regions in Indonesia, as well as internationally. For this we not only want stay silent and let our comrades walk alone on their path of rebellion, just like those who are inside, we still refuse to bend our knees and even bow our heads before Leviathan’s Economic Tyrannical Authority!
Economics is only the beginning of our commonality, but the economy is not a choice we consciously choose, it is a condition that” forced upon us. We hereby do not agree to solve the problem by creating a re-analysis about good economy! At best, the economy must be destroyed, it is a product from the social-elite who wants to take us to the desert of misery, destroying the wild as a resource to regulate our lives which also keeps us from free life and the last one accumulates as its power!
This attack is neither an end nor an answer but it is a question and introduction to our exploration of life that leads us to anarchy not the utopia (post-revolution) that is always told by us. those who do nothing, at the same time we write, we exchange information with our colleagues, we share roles by working together in our informal cells of anarchy, we reject a division because it is a replica of the idea marxists and western civilization that lead to authoritarian relations!
The Death Machine is an enormous and ever-expanding apparatus which today covers vast swathes of the surface of the Earth.
Its task is to suck in everything that it finds – mineral, vegetable, animal and human – and reduce it all into a lifeless grey toxic sludge.
Rumour has it that it also produces tiny quantities of a rich, powerful golden fluid, a honey-heroin, which none of us here have ever seen, let alone tasted.
It is said that this is piped directly into the veins of the Death Machine’s owners, soul-sour vampires who creep in cold caverns deep below the sunlit surface of our world.
The aim of the Death Machine is to destroy and pollute more and more forests, hills, valleys, plains, rivers, lakes and seas, to murder more and more birds, fish, animals and human beings.
Its aim is grow ever bigger and bigger, to boast even more rows of steel teeth and concrete claws, to belch out even greater clouds of suffocating poisonous smoke and waves of deadly radiation, to find ingenious new ways of torturing Mother Earth. In line with recommendations being laid out by the World Economic Forum and the UN 2030 Agenda, Bologna, Italy, plans to launch a social credit style app that has striking similarities with Communist China’s social credit system. The app rewards or punishes its citizens for their behavior. Dubbed “Smart Citizen Wallet,” the app will track activities such as recycling, public transportation use, and energy management.
The primary argument for the program is to “save resources” and promote climate-friendly behavior. Those displaying good behavior will collect digital coins and receive discounts at local shops based on the given scores.
The app is already active and in experimental stages in Rome and is set to go live in Bologna in Autumn. Bologna Mayor Matteo Lepore and Massimo Bugani, director of the city’s “Digital Agenda,” discussed the project at a March 29 conference. Bugani indicated the app was part of a more comprehensive effort by the city to invest in digital innovation.
In 2020, Italy and six other nations signed an agreement to become “Agile Nations” in partnership with the WEF. Besides Italy, the deal—co-organized by the OECD—includes Canada, Denmark, Japan, Singapore, UAE, and the UK and sets “each country’s commitment to creating a regulatory environment in which new ideas can thrive.” Expressly—with the Fourth Industrial Revolution front and center.Continue reading “Italy: Social Credit Score – Rome & Bologna testing new app that monitors & rewards behavior”→
