CALL FOR A BLACK NOVEMBER
IN MEMORY OF KEVIN GARRIDO
The anti-authoritarian comrade Kevin Garrido was captured by the Chilean dirty police on November 19, 2015, after placing and detonating an artisanal explosive device at one of the entrances to the San Bernardo gendarmerie school. After his capture, he was also accused of carrying out an explosive attack outside the 12th police station of San Miguel on October 29 of that same year, which was attributed to the International Conspiracy for Revenge – Gerásimos Tsakalos Explosion Cell. During the early hours of November 19, the police also captured comrade Joaquín García Chancks, accusing him of belonging, along with Kevin, to this cell responsible for the attack against the 12th police station.
After a long trial, Kevin was sentenced to 17 years in prison for attacking both police institutions with explosives, and Joaquín García was sentenced to 13 years in prison for the explosive attack and carrying a firearm that he had at the time been recaptured after escaping from house arrest in 2016.
On November 2, 2018, after having lived 3 years of imprisonment as a space of conflict against all types of authority, the comrade Kevin Garrido had a fight with an unworthy and cowardly prisoner who attacked him from behind. Although his injuries were very serious, Kevin did not receive the medical assistance he needed inside the Santiago 1 prison/company and the ambulance took 1 hour and 15 minutes to transfer him to the Barros Luco hospital, where he died after a high-risk intervention.

El compañerx antiautoritarix Kevin Garrido fue capturadx por la sucia policía chilena el 19 de noviembre del 2015, tras colocar y detonar un artefacto explosivo artesanal en una de las entradas de la escuela de gendaría de san bernardo. Luego de su captura, también fue acusadx de realizar un atentado explosivo en las afueras de la 12° comisaría de San Miguel el 29 de octubre de ese mismo año, el cual fue adjudicado por la Conspiración Internacional por la Venganza – Célula Deflagrante Gerásimos Tsakalos. Durante la madrugada del 19 de noviembre, la policía también capturó al compañerx Joaquín García Chancks, acusándolx de pertenecer , junto con Kevin, a esta célula responsable del atentado contra la 12° comisaría.
Después de un largo juicio, Kevin fue condenadx a 17 años de prisión por atacar con explosivos a ambas instituciones policiales, y Joaquín García fue condenadx a 13 años de prisión por el atentado explosivo y el porte de un arma de fuego que tenía al momento ser recapturado luego de fugarse del arresto domiciliario en 2016.
El 02 de noviembre del 2018, luego de haber vivido 3 años de encarcelamiento como un espacio de conflicto contra todo tipo de autoridad, el compañerx Kevin Garrido tuvo una pelea con un preso indigno y cobarde que lo atacó por la espalda, mientras el compañero se dirigía a buscar su arma. Pese a que sus heridas fueron de alta gravedad, Kevin no recibió la asistencia médica que necesitaba al interior de la cárcel/empresa Santiago 1 y la ambulancia demoró 1 hr y 15 min en trasladarlo al hospital Barros Luco, donde falleció tras una intervención de alto riesgo.

A 6 años de su cobarde asesinato, no olvidamos el camino irreductible que practicó desde temprana edad, hasta el último sus días.
“En la calle –y donde quiera que me encuentre– soy un amotinado cómplice de todo lo criminal y en la cárcel no me acobardo ni tengo una actitud sumisa ante los carceleros y todo bastardo autoritario que por aquí transite. No me atraganto de lindos discurso ni frases como: “muerte a toda autoridad” y al rato me victimizo por unos cuantos palos venideros de la Autoridad, autoridad que con mis manos pretendo asesinar.
