The Luddite fire once again lit up the night of public complacency and the monotony of our lives as consumers. On the night of the 29th, in the early hours of 30 May, we set fire to a mobile phone antenna and all its shitty radio-magnetic gadgets. This took place on the coast of Canelones, territory controlled by the murderous and repressive Uruguayan state. In memory of our comrade Punky Mauri, who fell 17 years ago, and of all the fighters murdered and imprisoned by capital.
In these times of techno-fascism and online activism, we remember that the material foundations of this system—which controls life through technology and algorithms—can be reduced to ashes. Greetings to the savages!!!!!!!!!!!
Ned and friends.
Silence!!!…the antennas are burning.
