Leipzig, Germany: Incendiary attack on a Tesla dealership

[On the night of May 12/13 in Leipzig, several Tesla cars were set on fire in the Schomburgkstrasse parking lot of a Tesla dealership. Two Tesla cars were completely destroyed, and two others heavily damaged, with damage amounting to 120,000 euros. We see this action as an opportunity to take action against green capitalism. The different means we choose should complement each other and not compete with each other.

But that now “the various anarchist groups in Germany” (on whose behalf do these people speak? ) are calling speeches at the demonstrations of Ukrainian nationalists and NATO ventriloquists, moreover, issuing the relevant communiqué at the “international” level; that they explicitly speak out against “the cease-fire” [sic], equating its demand with “cooperation with the Putin regime” [sic]; and that all this is happening at the very time when NATO states (i.e., our own) are shamelessly pushing for direct confrontation with Russia, all this becomes a real enlistment. If we then consider that, during the period-Covid, part of the “antagonist movement” in Germany went so far as to demand the obnoxious green pass at the entrance to many self-managed spaces; that, during that same period and in the same circles, anyone who did not vaccinate was branded a fascist; that those who solidarize with the Palestinians against the Israeli genocide have a hard time saying it – and, if they do say it, are attacked by self-styled “comrades” as “anti-Semites”… if we think about all this, a question arises: what the hell kind of antagonism is it that on decisive issues sides with “one’s” state and “one’s” ruling class? And if there are comrades there who-we are sure-do not share these statist and militarist drifts, are they saying so openly? If so, we would gladly publish their positions.

On Feb. 24 at 12 noon in Berlin, the Anarchist Bloc will join a demonstration to mark the second anniversary of the large-scale invasion of Ukraine. 12 noon, Unter den Linden (U-Bahn station).

“We, the various anarchist groups in Germany, invite you to join the February 24 demonstration in Berlin, on the anniversary of the beginning of Russia’s large-scale invasion of Ukraine, to express solidarity with the Ukrainian people who are fighting for their lives and for freedom from imperial domination and terror.

On this day, we want to call on the international community to actively protest politicians in their countries who are calling for a ceasefire and negotiations with the Putin regime. A ceasefire at this stage will only give Russia some rest and a foothold in the occupied territories so that it can strike back at Ukraine and other countries with full force. The object of the “peace” negotiations at this stage is the lives of the people in the Russian-occupied territories, people who are suffering from unprecedented repression and terror. On the night between 30/04/2024 and 21/04/2024¹, with 6 incendiary devices we permanently disabled at least 16 Amazon vans in a company parking lot in Berlin/Thyssenstraße.

Notoriously, May 1 is the international day of struggle of the working class. Our gasoline barbecue is meant to incite the struggle against the oppression of people and nature and fuel the inevitable clash between exploited and masters.

These large corporations plan to dominate, surveil, and exploit people more and more intensively. The technological onslaught thus also targets everything that has so far resisted capitalist exploitation. A dystopia that tends toward its fulfillment: endless amounts of data are collected, selected, evaluated and analyzed so as to ensure continuous and real-time analysis of social and relational processes. They must be monitored in order to predict developments and (ir)regularities. Small changes and shocks in the fragile economic market can affect supremacy in the race to maximize profits.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) represents the symbol of the link between the repressive organs of the state and capital. Not surprisingly, AWS has also specialized in armaments. For example, offering a new type of data center that will be used to gain military advantage anywhere in the world: the so-called AWS – Modular Data Centre (AWS – MDC), which is basically a modular database system placed in a container. It provides access to many of amazon’s cloud-based services and can be easily expanded with additional modules (containers). It can be downloaded anywhere, which is a clear military advantage: of course, Amazon limits the availability of AWS – MDC to U.S. government customers eligible for “Joint Warfighting Cloud Capability” (JWCC). In this case, it is the U.S. Department of Defense that will be able to acquire cloud computing capabilities and services directly from commercial providers of such services (including Mircosoft, Google, Oracle, etc.) at the desired speed and at all classification levels, from core to tactical.

The struggle against the exploitation of people and nature is a struggle against the wars of the rulers, their military, their armament industry! For the social revolution!

Pößneck, Germany: “It is better to commit a disorder…”.

The small town of Pößneck, some 30 km south of the city of Jena (Thuringia), is not known for its antics, to say the least.

Unlike its little sister, Jena’s walls have, over the centuries, endured the fury of peasant rebels who, between 1524 and 1526, destroyed and pillaged hundreds of castles and religious buildings in the Holy Roman Empire. This insurrection, dubbed the “Uprising of the Common Man” (Erhebung des gemeinen Mannes) or more simply the “Peasants’ War” following Engels’ study, even aroused the ire of the Pope of Protestantism, Martin Luther, who advised the nobility to slaughter the 300,000 insurgent beggars to the last man. In his pamphlet entitled Contre les hordes de paysans voleurs et assassins (May 1525) (Against the hordes of thieving, murderous peasants), Luther wrote: “Let all who can, strike, kill and stab, secretly or openly, remembering that there is nothing more poisonous, harmful or diabolical than a rebel. It’s like when you have to kill a rabid dog: if you don’t hit him, he’ll hit you, and a whole country with you.”

But today, the good city of Jena is best known in the textbooks of domination as having been one of the cradles of German Romanticism, whose university saw Goethe and prestigious teachers such as Fichte, Schiller and Hegel pass through, not to mention a famous student, Karl Marx, who completed his doctorate in philosophy there in 1841. A little later, it was also here that Ernst Haeckel, patent eugenicist and inventor of the term “ecology” in 1866 (preferred to “mesology” by the anarchist Elisée Reclus), made his career. However, it would be a pity to remain in the academic sky of bourgeois ideas in 19th-century Jena, without mentioning another, lesser-known revolt that brought the city down to earth.

In June 1953, after the first strikes against increased work rates, when the insurrection broke out in East Berlin against red fascism before being crushed by the tanks of the Army of the same color, it’s easy to forget that a large part of the former East Germany rose up. In Jena itself, for example, a crowd of 30,000 people attacked and ransacked the headquarters of the Communist Party (SED) and several official buildings, as well as looting the headquarters of the political police (the Stasi) and storming the Steiger prison, forcibly releasing some sixty inmates. Berlin, Germany: Tesla fire is on the rise

Numerous Teslas have been set on fire in Berlin in recent weeks.

This was the case, for example, of the two Teslas that caught fire on Monday night, April 23, at around 1.30 am in the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district.
Both cars were completely burnt out, and the investigation was handed over to the Berlin state criminal police. The police are assuming arson, since the two cars were parked several meters apart and appear to have been set on fire individually.

At around 2 a.m. on February 7, two Tesla cars had already been set on fire at two different locations in the Lichtenberg district,

Two weeks later, another Tesla was set on fire and partially consumed in the Neukölln district. The police claim to have found traces of firelighters on the vehicle.

Overall, the number of car fires in Berlin rose again this year. Between January 1 and April 22, 2024, police recorded 139, at least a dozen of which are considered “politically motivated”. Over the same period in 2023, there had been 83 cases, 56 fewer, while in 2022 there had been fewer cases throughout the year (123 in total) than at the start of 2024! Papperger is CEO of Rheinmetall, one of the big players in the German armaments industry.

The groundbreaking ceremony for a for a new production facility in Unterlüß was attended by Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz, the Ukrainian ambassador and Defense Minister Boris Pistorius (“Germany must become fit for war”). The new factory is expected to 200,000 shells a year.

Papperger is one of the arms managers with a particularly high media presence. The days when the armaments industry suffered from its image are over. In March 2024, Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck assured at a meeting of the 20 most important German arms manufacturers: “We need this industry!” Self-confident and offensively, killing machines can now be presented and advertised. And Rheinmetall has other things to offer besides ammunition, of course tanks in particular: the Lynx and Puma infantry fighting vehicles, the Boxer wheeled tank and the Skyranger anti-aircraft tank. For the Leopard Rheinmetall produces the gun barrel. Rheinmetall also stockpiles various old tank types, which have now been sold to Ukraine, complete with ammunition at a hefty profit. But parts production for the US F35 fighter jet is also on offer.

Rheinmetall plans, produces and murders not only on a national framework. The Group employs over 30,000 workers worldwide in 28 countries. A new ammunition production facility is planned in Ukraine and a maintenance plant for tanks is also due to open there in summer 2024. In addition, the production of infantry fighting battle tanks is also planned. There are also plans for an artillery factory and Rheinmetall is developing a completely new type of battle tank. In the USA, Rheinmetall is participating in tenders and is close to winning a 45 billion dollar contract for the successor to the Bradley infantry fighting vehicle. Germany: Ex-RAF Militant Arrested After Thirty Years Underground + The new citizen cop weapon ‘AI image search’

A 30-year manhunt ended in the heart of Berlin when police special forces arrested former Red Army Faction guerrilla fighter Daniela Klette. She is one of the famous RAF trio, three ex-militants still on the run and among the most wanted in Germany. This trio emerged from the leadership of the third and final generation of the urban guerrilla group.

The arrest of Klette in Berlin marked the end of her successful evasion of authorities for over 30 years. Klette, now 66 years old, was found in an apartment where ammunition was allegedly discovered. Her identity, allegedly, was confirmed through her fingerprints.

Alongside Ernst-Volker Staub and Burkhard Garweg, they have managed to elude capture for decades. The arrest in Berlin could tighten the circle around her comrades.

The arrest followed a recently launched public manhunt, also screened across Germany on billboards. Additionally, police forces raided relatives’ homes associated with the RAF trio in early 2023 in search of clues about the wanted revolutionaries.

Klette had been involved in left-wing revolutionary groups since 1975. She primarily engaged in Germany’s anti-NATO movement before affiliating herself with the RAF’s supporters network and eventually joining the group.

The RAF carried out attacks agaist imperialist, capitalist and state targets. The revolutionary organization was founded in 1970 and disbaned in 1998. They were particularly active during the 70s and 80s.

In the 1980′, the trio allegedly partly formed the command level of the third generation of the RAF. The third generation coordinated with other European guerrilla struggles like the Italian Red Brigades, and concentrated attacks against US and NATO targets, like the 1981 bombing of the US Air Force headquarters in Ramstein.

The bourgeois state alleges that Klette was involved in the very last RAF action which was a huge explosion targeting Weiterstadt prison in 1993. The attack is considered to be the most technically perfected attack incomparable in terms of damage to other RAF actions.*

On 27 March 1993, the Red Army Faction (RAF) Command Katharina Hammerschmidt bombed and destroyed a newly built prison in Weiterstadt, near Frankfurt am Main in Germany. It was the RAF’s last major action before it dissolved. At least three armed and masked men and a woman climbed a high wall and entered the guardhouse around 1 am. The terrorists tied the 10 guards and locked them in a van near a landfill. They then brought in five cargoes with 200 kg of explosives. At 5:12 am, the explosives were detonated. RAF`s Command Katharina Hammerschmidt warned the population with signs that the prison was about to be blown up and asked them to get to safety. The Weiterstadt prison took eight years to build and cost 250 million Marks ($155 million). It was designed to be multi-use and high-tech. The blast managed to destroy the administration building and much of its security system. At the time the prison was not holding inmates yet – they were expected by May. Over $90 million in damages was caused. The prison had to be rebuilt, which took another four years when it opened and received inmates in May 1997.

The new citizen cop weapon ‘AI image search’

It has come to our attention from infomation passed on to us by comrades in Germany that the former member of Red Army Faction, Daniele Klette, was possibly identified using a new repressive weapon of ‘Artifical Intelligence image search’. The program in question is named as ‘PimEyes’, which was used apparently by an ‘investigative’ citizen cop journalist from the snitch ‘investigative’ website Bellingcat, who put the police wanted notice of Klette from the 1990s through the AI image search. PimEyes is a facial recognition search website that allows users to identify all images on the internet of a person given a sample image. It is comparable to the facial recognition company Clearview which is a notorious for providing software to law enforcement and government agencies and other organizations. The company’s algorithm matches faces to a database of more than 20 billion images collected from the Internet, including social media applications. Several Twitter users claim to have used it in an effort to identify US Capitol rioters, for example.

For several years she was involved in a Brazilian culture centre in the Kreuzberg district, where she practised capoeira, an Afro-Brazilian martial art that combines dance and fighting. It is thought that the discovery of photographs of her with her capoeira group at Berlin’s annual carnival led to her identification and arrest. The cops have yet to confirm the link between the arrest and a podcast from 2023.

The use of Artificial Intelligence and Facial Recogintion software is not only dangerous in the hands of the authorities but also in its widespread use by the have a go heroes and citizen cops. With the increase of surveillance technologies pernmeating through all society, from the smart phone camera to the doorbell camera. All of these are presented as for personal safety and security but in actual fact are leading to the self-surveillance of our entire environment. In the past computer technology was brought forward in Germany in respose to the Red Army Faction’s attacks. Computerisation of taxes, rental agreements, wages, etc were able to be used to narrow down what the German security forces named as ‘sympathisers’, a minimal group of people they could place under surveiilance that did not buy into their electronic system, who they deemed as avoiding it especially if they paid using cash.

The same tactics that were learnt during the 70’s and 80’s are now being upgraded not only by using the advanced technolgies but asking even more for the ‘responsible citizen’ to be their extra pair of eyes in the corners of the society they cannot reach. The expansion of crime fighting ‘private eye’ style entities on the internet and social media such as blogs and podcasts that have already been mentioned fuel even further the active participation of growing online private security industry, by not only private companies but by any citizen who feels the need to fill the void in their life by becoming a Dick Tracey or Imspector Gadget for the day.

This article is only to highlight once again the danger of technology to be used as a weapon to surveil those who dare to resist as the Red Army Faction did, which becomes a weapon easily used by the society to surveil itself in the aid of the authorities and cops.

As civilian casualties continue to mount in Gaza, global calls for countries to halt arms sales to Israel grow. The United States Senate has approved a bill committing $14bn to support Israel’s war on Gaza this week.

On Monday, the European Union foreign policy chief, Josep Borrell, commented on US President Joe Biden’s description of Israel’s response to the October 7 Hamas attacks as “over the top”. “Well, if you believe that too many people are being killed, maybe you should provide less arms in order to prevent so many people being killed,” Borrell told reporters.
