In the morning of 20/12/22 it was announced on the radio that early in the morning a huge fire broke out in the Heraklion Tax Office following an arson attack. After several hours the fire brigade managed to extinguish the fire but the damage to the logistical infrastructure and the building is estimated at tens of thousands of euros.
You who are reading these lines, stop for a moment and ask yourself if your life is a life worth living as a human being. If the answer is no, then you ought to seek out those responsible for dictating your life and undermining your dignity. Evictions of first home owners at the crack of dawn, with armed forces of cops carrying out the vile entreaties of their bosses, taxes, sky-high rents, inflated electricity bills, food and fuel shortages, meagre wages, uninsured work, half pay and bonuses that get returned to the hands of the bosses, cut pensions and a broken health care system. All of this adds up to a suffocating daily life in which you have no time to live.
There are many voices of reaction and more, but all kinds of exploiters make sure to silence and suppress them as much as they can. Whether it is the upgrading of the penal code, the law on “football supporter violence”, cameras everywhere, entry/exit barriers on public transport and in schools, the ban on strikes and demonstrations, terror laws, inspections, fines, thugs, raids, threats, beatings, staged trials, detentions, punitive sentences, deportations of immigrants, torture, murders and much more.
