Russia: Radical Resistance 22.12-27.12.22

Journalists counted 72 military facilities that have been attacked by the resistance in Russia since the beginning of the war (tg channel Rospartizan), including 44 arson attacks. Military registration and enlistment offices were attacked most frequently. This figure obviously does not include attacks against conditionally civilian objects, such as local authorities, the headquarters of various parties and cars belonging to officials. Also not included are attacks on symbols of war and cars with symbols of war. It is not clear whether those cases where the authorities do not prosecute for arson, and write it off as negligence, are included.) It is also unclear whether the statistics include the actions of Ukrainian partisans on the territory of Russia and their joint actions.

Thus, it is not even possible to estimate the number of guerrilla attacks, let alone smaller acts of sabotage in the workplace. But we are not chasing statistics either. Of the trends, the following can be noted:

Guerrilla attacks are being carried out by people of all ages, from teenagers to people in their 70s and from all walks of life, from the unemployed to businessmen to scientists. Partisans include members of the anarchist movement and other forces, but many do not associate themselves with any political trend.
Many of the attacks are symbolic, they do not do much material damage to the enemy, but have value precisely as a moral gesture, a demonstration of personal choice and an appeal to others.

December 22.

Arkhangelsk

Unknown assailants attacked one of the wealthiest deputies, Peter Vatutin, head of the “Just Russia” faction in the city Duma. At the intersection of Lomonosov and Serafimovich, in the center of the city, his car was shot four times, allegedly from a semi-automatic pistol. Hopefully, the next time they meet, the partisans will be better armed.

Orekhovo

Guerrillas burned a locomotive in Orekhovo near Moscow at night. Russian Railways officials reported that this was at least the fifth case of deliberate destruction of locomotives in a month, at various stations. A few hours earlier, unknown guerrillas burned a signaling unit, which led to a traffic stoppage on the Samara-Penza section. The partisans are at large. Athens, Greece: Action claim by Anarchists for incendiary attack on a Hertz van

On Wednesday night 14/12 we carried out an incendiary attack on a Hertz van which was parked in the area of Exarcheia.

This company, known for its investments on the one hand and as an important cog in the capitalist world on the other, is a political opponent for us.

The area of Exarcheia, and not only, is not safe for these vehicles and everything connected with this world. Exarcheia was, is and will be an area that gave birth to and still nurtures political consciousnesses that dream of the destruction of this world.

This attack was a reflexive move in response to the events of the last few days; the arrests of the December 6 march, the arrests of the march for Kostas Fragoulis, the blockade of our comrades in law; the days of Alexis and the blood that never ceases to seek revenge, when fourteen Decembers later the State and its armed trash arm, shoot and kill.

The attack is dedicated to the memory of Kostas Fragoulis, killed by a cop’s bullet.

Capitalism is voracious, our rage ferocious. Claim of the incendiary attack against four CAT machines, by the Informal Anarchist Conspiracy (Fivizzano, November 2022)

The Informal Anarchist Conspiracy is anarchist and informal, therefore without organisational programmes or leaders, the result of the free union of individuals moved by their own will and reciprocal felt need to strike at those responsible for the misery.

In November, one year after the burning of two vehicles at the Boccanaglia Alta quarry, the Informal Anarchist Conspiracy celebrated its birthday by doubling down on the avenging fire. Four CATs from the Walton quarry in Castelbaita (Fivizzano – MS) were completely burnt.

Unfortunately, apart from the birthday, there is little to celebrate. Tons of mountain pieces are taken away every year, with terrible consequences for nature in all its complexity. Also paying the price are the inhabitants who find themselves without drinking water or with floods that will continue to hit the area.

Marble mining is part of the capitalist system of exploitation, to the point of depletion of every cm of soil, water, subsoil and so-called resources. The extractive economy is directly linked to the wars that from Yemen to Ukraine fatten the bosses. Every single industrialist is responsible for climate change, as well as for the existence of borders and the thousands of people slaughtered in the Mediterranean and in lagers defending borders.

It is known that the bosses are hypocrites and fill their mouths with deceitful words. Big speeches about energy transition, emission reduction and other green masks are on the lips of politicians, bosses and phoney environmentalists. They propose and promise reconversion. They practice the destruction of this planet, the moon, the universe and everything. They talk a lot about alternative energies but never about alternatives to capitalism. Perugia, Italy: Incendiary attack against some vehicles in front of Unicredit’s executive headquarters in solidarity with Alfredo Cospito on hunger strike

We learn from local media, from an article published on Dec. 2, of an attempted arson attack against some vehicles parked in front of Unicredit’s executive headquarters, including a corporate vehicle of the bank, in Perugia’s Madonna Alta neighborhood. According to reports, the vehicles were not seriously damaged. On some were found the inscriptions ” Fire to the prisons” and ” Out Alfredo from 41 bis,” in reference to the all-out hunger strike against the 41 bis prison regime and hostile life imprisonment undertaken by the anarchist Alfredo Cospito since Oct. 20. Currently, other than the writings found by the repressive forces, no claim or communication regarding the attack appears to have been released.

Athens, Greece: ‘Life is not so good.’ Claim for the incendiary attack on an LG van in Kaisariani

In the early morning hours of November 19 to 20, a van of the multinational company LG (life is good) in Kaisariani, was torched. Life is good only for the bosses and the rulers of this world. For us it becomes good only in moments like this, when we are attacking. We dedicate this attack to the Turkish fighters who are on hunger strike demanding a fair trial and to comrade Alfredo Cospito who is on hunger strike against the 41bis regime.

Chile: 4 comrades arrested for the incendiary attack on the meat company “Susaron”

On November 3, the BIPE (Brigade of Special Police Investigations) of the PDI arrested 4 comrades accused of the incendiary attack carried out by the ” Grupo de Respuesta Animal” on September 18, 2022 against trucks of the meat company “Susaron” in the commune of Quilicura.

The investigation would have allowed through surveillance cameras to track the car where they were moving, in addition to triangulating the signal of cell phones in the house where they had gathered before and after the incendiary attack.

Two comrades were also charged with possession of ammunition in the homes that were raided and the four were charged with arson.

The three comrades were taken to Santiago 1 prison/company and the comrade to San Miguel Prison.

The Greek justice system doesn’t have a problem, it is the problem itself

Direct Action Cells claim responsibility for the following incendiary attacks:

At the home of the judge Panagiota Yioupi, at dawn on Friday October 14, in the Glyfada area.

Youpi is one of the many servile puppets of the gang that operates under the name of Greek justice. She presided in the trial of the child rapist and member of the Mitsotakis family, Dimitris Lignadis, who was released from prison after being found guilty of raping underage children. She is a judge who is part of the influential entourage of the drug-dealing shipping tycoon Vangelis Marinakis, having issued a series of provocative rulings in favor of his interests during her term as a judge in Piraeus.

Yioupi is relentless when confronted with the poor, handing out years of sentences with the same ease she would hand out toys at a children’s party. But she has a peculiarity, she turns into a sensitive and soulful person when confronted by people from high society, with political connections, access and financial clout.

At the home of the judge Myrsini Papachiou, at dawn on Saturday, November 5, in the Zografou area.

Papachiou occupies the highest levels of the cesspool known as civil justice. The throne that she sits on as vice president of the Supreme Court is built from the pain of shattered human lives destroyed by prison.

Our decision to target her, apart from her institutional role, is related to the fact that she is currently involved in the Novartis scandal, being a member of the special court that is currently trying state prosecutors and government officials from the former SYRIZA government, as defendants for allegedly orchestrating a conspiracy in this particular case. She is also a court tribunal member for the upcoming trial of a former SYRIZA minister in a case regarding TV licenses. In fact, in order for Papahiou to be a member of these tribunals, she was hastily promoted to the rank of deputy-president a few days before the selection of tribunal members took place. Without any desire to get involved in the shifting alliances and infighting of this rotten political establishment, we recognize that this court is acting as a white-washing machine for sections of the political elite who are involved in the Novartis scandal. An international scandal that demonstrates with surgical precision how capitalism works. Multinationals, big pharma and politicians were complicit in the criminal regulation of drug prices in the health sector. They were complicit in the dismantling of public hospitals, in the operation of an organized international state-economic mafia that exploited in the worst possible way one of the most basic services, that of health. The government’s systematic attempt to present this scandal as a frame-up goes hand in hand with its refusal to demand compensation from the company. Our choice to strike at one of the puppets that are part of the government’s white-washing is intended to highlight all of the above. Trambileno, Italy: Incendiary attack against a mobile telecommunications antenna in solidarity with anarchist Alfredo Cospito on hunger strike

We learn from the media, in particular the local Trentino media, that on the night of November 5 a mobile telecommunications antenna located in the municipality of Trambileno, in the province of Trento, was set on fire. On the structure was left the writing ‘Alongside Alfredo on hunger strike. No 41 bis’, in reference to the hunger strike indefinitely undertaken, starting on October 20, by anarchist Alfredo Cospito against the 41 bis prison regime to which he was transferred on May 5 and against life imprisonment without possibility of parole. Subsequently, two other imprisoned comrades, Juan Sorroche and Ivan Alocco – respectively starting on the 25th in the Terni prison and on the 27th in the Villepinte prison, in France – also began a hunger strike in solidarity with the comrade.

Currently, apart from the wall writing found by the repressive forces on the structure, no claim or communication about the attack has been published.
