Communiqué from Luca Dolce (aka Stecco) on the recent sentences against Palestine Action
I recently learned of the convictions of four comrades from Palestine Action in the UK for their actions against the Israeli arms company Elbit Systems UK.
The solidarity and struggle last winter—with the hunger strike inside prisons that united prisoners internationally—led to moments of unity and awareness in the internationalist struggle against the genocidal war in Gaza and against colonialism. It was a surge of energy that brought many people together. Months have passed, and the massacre continues.
In Kramatorsk, in Ukraine, during these days, those technological gadgets called drones continue to terrorize populations—the same is happening in Russia. Iran and Turkey continue to use this new paradigm of modern warfare to attack the Kurdish resistance in the mountains, while for Palestine, there are no more words to describe the reality we know and keep bringing up. Despite the brutal existence the population is forced to endure, it still clings to life amid the rubble. We know the objectives of Israel and the West.
In Ankara, with the NATO summit underway, these bastard torturers are doing business right now, and amid treaties, contracts, and handshakes, only one thing troubles them—and it’s not war, because that’s what they thrive on.
