Massa, Italy: The Inquisition at work. Requested from 5 years 6 months to 7 years imprisonment for the accused in the Massa trial derived from the Operation Scripta Scelera

Posted on 2025/04/07 - 2025/04/07 by darknights

On Tuesday, April 1, one of the most relevant hearings in the trial involving four anarchists indicted in the operation Scripta Scelera for editing and distributing the internationalist anarchist fortnightly “Bezmotivny” was held in Massa. Starting at 12:00 noon in Palma Square there were microphone speeches and a leafleting, and from 3:00 p.m. there was a presence in the courtroom by the solidarity comrades present.

During the hearing, Public Prosecutor Manotti of the Genoa District Anti-Mafia and Anti-Terrorism Directorate delivered his indictment, and then set out the requests for conviction against the defendants in reference to both counts of the trial: incitement to commit crimes with the aggravating circumstance of the purpose of terrorism (as well as apology for terrorist crimes) and offense to the honor or prestige of the president of the republic. He did not, however, seek conviction on the aggravating circumstance of having committed the act through computer or telematic means.

These are the requests: 7 years in prison for Gino, 6 years for Luigi (with revocation of the suspended sentence for a previous conviction imposed on him by the Ravenna court), 5 years and 6 months each for Gaia and Paolo. A hearing with defense arguments and sentencing will be held on Tuesday, April 8, also at 3 p.m. in the court in De Gasperi Square.

Before making a few brief remarks, let us recall that this trial-excluding the associative crime initially charged-involves four of the defendants in the proceedings, those for whom this trial with immediate trial was precisely ordered in January 2024 and who were under restrictive house arrest at the time, while as for the other six defendants the proceedings remained in the investigation phase.

The repressive apparatus has long been forcibly trying to “stop” anarchists. With the prosecutions in recent years against certain newspapers we are basically being “reproached” for being what we are, and in particular with Scripta Scelera the state would like to strike at anarchist agitation and propaganda. The shameless willingness to dumb down revolutionary publications as well as to demonize actions of attack against the state and capitalism show the real consistency of the permissive face of the state and its “freedoms of expression” especially in times of war. Seven years in prison for the mere publication of a newspaper-the sixty or so issues of “Bezmotivny”-we understand to be the highest sentence demand ever made in a trial against anarchists in reference to what, objectively, are “crimes of opinion.” Anarchist ideas are evidently dangerous because they overflow with an urgency of life, because they exhort us not to spend our existence on our knees, because they speak of the will to radically overthrow this old world, because they suggest a method of struggle, because…

What else to say? The warning of the new inquisition headed by the anti-terrorist prosecutors’ offices and the prevention police is clear: when faced with the theoretical-practical combination of anarchism, it is either silence or condemnation. Yet if they think they are convincing us that the game is not worth the candle, they are sorely mistaken….

Moscow

Russian pro-government media reported that on the evening of March 6, 17-year-old student Nikita P. approached the FSB building on Lubyanka Street in Moscow, splashed a flammable liquid from a plastic bottle on the office door and set fire to the doused door. The guy was detained. During interrogation he admitted that he “committed arson according to the instructions that he had previously received from fraudsters. If everything is really so, the task of such “fraudsters” is obviously to discredit the real guerrilla attacks, which continue despite everything. After all, even in the case of cessation of hostilities in Ukraine, the task of dismantling the Russian totalitarian regime remains relevant.

Kazan

On 7 March, the car of a military commissariat employee was burnt down in Kazan. A partisan set fire to the car registered to the military commissariat of the Republic of Tatarstan. According to the preliminary version of the law enforcers, it was doused with incendiary mixture by an unknown man. The car burst into flames at around four in the morning near the houses near Rotornaya and Botanicheskaya streets.

Tula

On 8 March in Tula, partisans burned cars belonging to employees of the SPLAV Research and Production Association.

NPO SPLAV is a military industry enterprise, a manufacturer of Grad, Smerch and Uragan multiple rocket launchers.

Tver region

On March 12, the Osvoboditel guerrilla movement announced the destruction of the S-300 air defense system in the Tver region. According to a video shot by the guerrillas, it can be determined that the system’s command center with radar, the cost of which is estimated at 160 million dollars, was damaged. The S-300 complex consists of three main elements: a radar for detecting targets at low altitudes, a control system with illumination and guidance radar, and launchers. The eliminated control system is a key component, without which the complex loses combat capability until new hardware arrives. According to the guerrillas, the destruction occurred at minimal cost: the operation required only five liters of gasoline worth several hundred rubles. At the same time, the price of the equipment taken out of service is estimated at 160 million dollars.

Chile: (Memory) 17 years after the death of Jhonny Cariqueo

Posted on 2025/04/02 - 2025/04/02 by darknights

“A spoil towards the lazy louse
It is not a simple whim I reflect myself in your eyes
To demonstrate my old commitment
Hip-hop I wet the towel that cleans
The red fist I wave in battle
My people are no longer silent awake with their anger
The rich with their gold filling themselves with praise
The poor with their flowers filling themselves with love
We will be the actors of revolutions”

Jhonny Cariqueo Yañez

Seventeen years ago, in the framework of the Young Combatant’s Day in 2008, one of the most violent days of political street violence took place. Specifically, in the commune of Pudahuel, during the commemoration of the previous September 11, corporal Vera had been killed by a bullet in the head, while on March 26, 2008 a powerful explosive device was detonated in a bank of the commune, creating a subversive atmosphere and a spirit of revenge on the part of the police.

Jhonny Cariqueo Yáñez, 23 years old, a young rapper and anarchist who participated in different hiphop and neighborhood collectives, was arrested on March 29, 2008 at the intersection of La Estrella and San Francisco in the commune of Pudahuel, after a commemorative activity for the Day of the Young Combatant. He was taken to the 26th Police Station where he was brutally beaten, during the detention Jhonny began to feel strong pains in his arm and chest and was taken to an emergency center where it was suggested that he undergo tests, however, the miserable police refused to accept the check-ups. On the morning of March 30, he is taken to the 1st Police Station in Santiago, where he is released at 4:00 p.m.

The following day, March 31. Jhonny lies down on his bed and begins to show symptoms of cardiac arrest and is assisted by his family; however, in a few minutes comrade Jhonny Cariqueo dies.

The anarchic memory has been able to maintain the memory of the comrade present in the street, through incendiary action, activities, documentaries, murals, spaces, explosive actions and projects with his name, demonstrating that no death of our comrades is a sentence to oblivion.

Narni, Italy: Claim of the placement of an incendiary device inside the faculty of “Science of Investigation and Security” by Action Group “Kyriakos Xymitiris” (March 30, 2025)

Posted on 2025/04/01 - 2025/04/01 by darknights

On Sunday, March 30 we broke into the faculty of “Science of Investigation and Security” in Narni ,in Umbria, and placed an incendiary device in the room “Crime Scene Laboratory”.With this action we wanted to strike a training center of the future intelligence of the Italian state. Genocidal state as its cooperation with the Zionist state of ‘Israel in the massacre of the Palestinian people shows us. Torturer state as shown to us by the existence of the 41bis prison regime in which comrade anarchist Alfredo Cospito is also imprisoned. slaughtering state as the massacre of migrants in the Mediterranean Sea and the murders of detainees in prisons show us.

SOLITARY WITH ALL ANARCHISTS,WITH ALL REVOLUTIONARIES LOCKED UP AND INCARCERATED IN PRISONS ALL OVER THE WORLD.

Greece: ‘THAT WHICH GIVES MEANING TO LIFE GIVES MEANING TO DEATH’ – Marianna M. [Updated Translation]

Posted on 2025/03/31 - 2025/04/07 by darknights

On 31.10 on the third floor of an apartment in Arkadias Street (Athens), during the processing of explosives by my comrade and guerrilla Kyriakos Xymitiris, an explosion took place with the tragic consequence of his death. For a few moments, with me in the next room, time froze, everything went black and I was unable to move. The condition was incomprehensible, the development inconceivable. Buried in the wreckage trying to figure out what had happened;asking for help, searching for my partner with my eyes. Slowly realizing that while the thread of my comrade’s action would be abruptly cut short, his life and his choices in struggle would be a historic flash of determined resistance, consistency and dedication; a springboard and inspiration for further struggle. Two figures appeared offering help while I showed them the spot where I last saw my comrade, the spot where our guilty gazes met, gazes full of anger at the world we live in, full of faith and appetite for moments of true freedom.

Within a few minutes I was in the hospital “Evangelismos”. I was immediately subjected to examinations and operations. I had a hematoma on my head and countless stitches on the upper part of my body. I remained intubated and completely unconscious for the next three days. Enough time for the “anti-“terror scumbags to come to the hospital demanding a blood sample. On the Monday, I regained consciousness and was transferred to the ICU where I was confined for the next three days. The conditions there were decent with medical staff eager to assist in my recovery. However the room was surrounded by police forces who entered the ICU room during the 5-minute visits from my family.

After two days I was transferred – for no apparent reason – to an isolation ward guarded by several static and as many mobile cops in the hallways and on the floors. The door to my room was constantly open leaving zero privacy even during medical examinations. Under the “watchful” gaze of every single cop I had to eat, be examined, and have my body cleaned. Following instructions, the majority of medical and nursing staff maintained a distant attitude, showing zero empathy even in the most basic things, for example when they carried out an examination with the presence of a male police officer.

The insistence of the 22nd investigator of the Athens District Court on conducting the interrogation procedure despite my physical and mental weakness also contributed to the vindictive atmosphere. After asking for a certificate of my sufficient ‘functionality’, which she read at her discretion, she finally gave me the sham extension of 30 hours. She thus confirmed the fact that her priority was my predetermined pre-trial detention and prosecution under 187A.

On Friday 15.11, and just one day after the second operation I underwent, I was transferred to the women’s prison in Korydallos. My daily life, under these circumstances, was difficult. Under deplorable sanitary conditions and with unhealed wounds on my body and head, the repressive mechanism was playing with my health. I was without the necessary medical care and without access to the necessary medication, a condition that all prisoners face as they are perceived as second-class citizens with no right to medical care, with superficial to non-existent medical examinations by prison doctors, with prohibition of necessary medical procedures, with discontinuation of medication taken before incarceration, with long waits for months for emergency examinations in outpatient hospitals.

THE GEOMETRY OF THE ANTI-TERROR UNIT

While I am still unconscious, only a few hours after the explosion, the judicial apparatus follows the instructions of the anti-terror squad and constructs an indictment of an abomination. The processing of (small amounts of) explosive materials and devices with only comrade Kyriakos and myself present and aware, was baptized an organization. The apartment, to which we had only had access to for a few days, was christened a yafka (illegal bunker). The legitimate objects found in the apartment where I lived with comrade Kyriakos and which were presented on the daily news were dubbed suspicious. With these facts, the anti-terror police prosecuted me on the charge of “terrorism”. At this point, however, I will not focus on the legal aspect, nor will I speak in the context of innocence and guilt. I refuse to accept an indictment based on 187A, especially when it instrumentalizes the death of my comrade in the most vulgar fashion. And I intend to deconstruct whichever repressive scenario they construct. But I will defend until the end my choice to be in this apartment, I will defend the necessity of struggle by means not limited to the framework of civil law, I will defend my comrade’s choices, his memory and our relationship.

By carving concentric circles, the anti-terror police weave their own repressive web. It places me and my comrade Kyriakos at the centre and, with shaky geometry, it adds friends, comrades and strangers. In the first cycle it places the arrest of the anarchist comrade Dimitra, who presented herself voluntarily in a Hollywood-style operation at the Athens airport where – in contrast to the femicide of Kyriaki Griva – the police car in the role of a taxi picks her up and takes her to the GADA (Athens central police station). The only “clue” was that she had given the keys to the apartment in Arkadia Street to me and Kyriakos under the pretext of hosting our acquaintances from abroad, without her knowledge of the true purpose of the flat’s use. It is worth noting that on the day of the explosion she was abroad, where she had been living for the last few years. She too is being prosecuted under 187A. In the second circle they place the comrade Dimitris, who also presented himself voluntarily at GADA, because he had handed over the pair of keys of the apartment in Arcadia Street to the flat’s owner, something which had been requested of him by Dimitra. With the only involvement being the delivery of the keys, without having known anything more and having been at work at the time of the explosion, he also faces the aforementioned charges. Twenty days later the”anti-“terrorists secure the next cycle, with the arrest of the anarchist comrade N. Romanos. In his case, the repressive mechanism unleashed its vindictiveness by using as proof a faint fingerprint on a transportable object – a bag – found in the apartment in Arcadia. Two days later A.K becomes part of the last cycle when he is arrested due to the ridiculous “clue” of the fingerprint on the same bag. Apparently within 20 days the “efficiency” of the ELAS (greek police) laboratories managed to implicate two people with whom I have no connection, by unearthing a fingerprint, while the tons of xylene in the Tempi massacre have not been found for two years now. The last two arrested also face the same flimsy charge.

Chile: Anarchist Comrade Francisco Solar Comes Out of Isolation After 5 years

Posted on 2025/03/31 - 2025/03/31 by darknights

The anarchist comrade Francisco Solar comes out of isolation after 5 years in punishment.

After spending almost 5 years in solitary confinement, touring different maximum security modules and facing the recent hardening of the prison regime that kept him with 21 hours of confinement in the cell, without TV or radio and with restrictions on visits, today we have news regarding his situation in prison.

After successive hearings and technical advice, the gendarmerie has run out of excuses to keep the comrade in this punishment regime, being forced to transfer him.

Today the anarchist comrade manages to get out of the circuit and labyrinth of isolation and maximum security modules, being transferred to module 33 inside La Gonzalina Prison, where other anarchist and subversive prisoners are held.

Solidarity and complicity with the anarchist comrade Francisco Solar!

Solidarity and complicity with those who attack power and repression!

Surabaya, Indonesia: Riot outside East Java government building against the new Military law

Posted on 2025/03/28 - 2025/03/28 by darknights

A violent clash broke out Monday in the Indonesian metropolis of Surabaya between police and demonstrators protesting against the country’s newly passed military law.

Around 1,000 students and activists dressed in black participated in the protest in front of an East Java government building.

Holding posters that said “Reject the Military Law”, and “The Military Should Return to the Barracks”, protesters hurled rocks, sticks, and Molotov cocktails towards the police guarding the demonstration.

The revision to the armed forces law, pushed mainly by President Prabowo Subianto’s coalition, was aimed at expanding the military’s role beyond defence in a country long influenced by its powerful armed forces especially under the brutal military dictatorship of Suharto called the “New Order” who were avowedly anti-communist and anti-anarchist. Large-scale killings and civil unrest primarily targeting members and supposed sympathizers of the Communist Party of Indonesia (PKI) were carried out in Indonesia from 1965 to 1966. Other affected groups included alleged communist sympathisers, Gerwani women, trade unionists, ethnic Javanese Abangan, ethnic Chinese, atheists, so-called “unbelievers”, and alleged leftists in general. The dictatorship eventually fell in the May 1998 Indonesia riots triggered by corruption, economic problems, including food shortages, mass unemployment, increasing repression, genocide in East Timor and following the 1997 Asian financial crisis.

Santiago, $hile: Mosaic in memory of comrade Javier Recabarren Olivares

Posted on 2025/03/28 by darknights

The 18th of March marked a new anniversary of the death of our beloved anarchist anti-speciesist comrade, Javier Recabarren Olivares, who was run over by an ill-fated bus on the corner of Radal and Alameda in 2015. Since then there have been several gestures of comrades who have insisted on keeping his memory alive and present through various actions. We salute the generosity of those comrades because, it is thanks to their stubbornness that Javi’s joyful and restless rebelliousness has crossed the barriers of time and has accompanied us in our permanent antagonism to all authority; especially those of us who did not know him in life.
So, exactly 10 years after Javi’s departure, and seeking to keep his anarchic fire burning, a group of affinities went to the corner where the compa left this plane to complete the final part of a project we had started some time ago: the installation of a mosaic portraying Javi with Taco, the polar bear whose kidnapping at the Metropolitan Zoo in Santiago called for many protests, in many of which Javi participated.
Although the construction of the mosaic took many weeks of meticulous work behind closed doors, its installation on the street was done in broad daylight between the hectic fight of street vendors (most of them people born in other parts of the continent who try to survive the precariousness of the “every man for himself” world) with the bastard citizen security and the yuta (cops) in the middle of the Alameda, attracting the curious glances of the passers-by from whom in some cases we receive words of closeness and encouragement when we know we are people in constant struggle to survive in this ill-fated society. Despite this we must clarify that we do not consider ourselves artists or masters in this, on the contrary, we threw ourselves into this path learning on the fly without fear of disaster with the support of various individualities that were present at different stages, because we continue to insist on the “do it yourself” without authority or leaders, only with the will and desire to be a contribution.

Just days away from a new March 29th, and encouraging the multiplicity of expressions of agitation on this day of active and incendiary commemoration-action, we call to sustain the gestures of memory in everyday life, transcending specific dates. It is in the constancy and the day to day where memory becomes action.

With Javi’s fire on the barricade and Taco’s roar in our hearts!
For the destruction of all cages!
Against all authority and for total liberation!
JAVI AND TACO PRESENTE!

Giessen, Germany: Incendiary attack upon Payment Card Coordination Centre

Posted on 2025/03/24 by darknights

On March 17th, we attacked the coordination center for the payment card in Hesse with incendiary devices. Several transporters, as well as the building on Lilienthalstraße (Gießen), were damaged in the process. We did not choose this state facility by chance. The Government Presidium (RP) Gießen is involved in deportations every day with their transports from the initial reception centers and coordinates these throughout Hesse. For the reasons already mentioned, the RP deserves every attack.

Furthermore, the premises of the RP Gießen serve as the “operational coordination center” for the payment card introduced for refugees in the fall of last year. Basically, this means that the RP is responsible for the introduction and implementation of the payment cards in the initial reception centers and serves as the point of contact for all accommodations in the state of Hesse. The payment card is another insidious endeavor in which the German state demonstrates its racist and inhumane practices. Surely we should all be aware that the payment card is an attack on all the people who seek refuge and safety here, and it is just another step in the isolation of Europe.

Not only the state’s racist practice ignited our anger and hatred, but also the fact that this is another step by an authoritarian state to practice surveillance and control. As a society, we should assume that the payment card for refugees is a pilot project testing the extent to which handling payment cards will generally be suitable in the future. It is to be assumed that at some point there will also be payment cards for, for example, social benefit recipients. Because the German state loves to kick downwards and take from the poor and already stigmatized.

In solidarity with all those who evade their deportation and develop a collective practice against the authorities.

We greet the anarchist comrades in Bavaria, who are currently being persecuted by the state for their uncompromising political stance.

We send our solidarity and hope to all those affected by racist policies with our action. Another world is possible, let’s fight for it together.

Happiness and strength to all the comrades in hiding and blazing hatred against the walls that keep our friends and comrades imprisoned.
