“I’m really fantasizing about the Caribbean island” – Noam Chomsky (U$A)

Posted on 2026/02/09 by darknights

USA: Within the strange, controversial and damning Jeff Epstein emails which have been released in redacted and incomplete form by the US Department of Justice, there are records that reveal a relationship between neo-fascist Steve Bannon, leftist academic Noam Chomsky and the corrupt financier Jeff Epstein.

We will not reproduce the comments here, beyond one –“I’m really fantasizing about the Caribbean island”, one of Epstein’s hideouts, but it is clear that they maintained an active but infrequent exchange, also from Epstein financially benefiting Chomsky. Chomsky is responsible for some reprehensible commenting about women and sexual abuse/rape in the DOJ emails, leading to a question about what was exactly the nature of their friendship. At the least, we could say, that Chomsky knew he was consulting with a child sex trafficker and was attracted to the attention, the wealth, the politicking.

Despite the protests coming from the left about this fact, it’s a fitting conclusion for Noam Chomsky: a money-hungry sexist and comfortable apologist of Epstein. Just another careerist fading away after serving as the faithful opposition and mouthpiece critic. The definitive end of Noam Chomsky’s association with the radical left and his supposed “anarchism”.

An Anarchist Critique of Post-Modernism and Post-Anarchism

Posted on 2026/02/08 by darknights

AN ANARCHIST CRITIQUE OF POSTMODERNISM AND POST-ANARCHISM

The 20th century, which began as a revolutionary whirlwind, ended with a collapse of emancipatory ideas, from anarchism to socialism, which were “defeated” by a capitalism that would mutate and transform itself according to its needs. Capitalist domination recovers old “revolutionary” struggles—social, economic, ecological—absorbing many of these emancipatory ideas and incorporating them into its program. On the one hand, the inability of revolutionary movements to see and analyze these new capitalist restructurings, and on the other hand, capitalism with its endless wars and conflicts of domination and destabilization of entire territories, or in its communist form, with its immense sinkholes of moral and material misery, represented by the gulags, led to the destabilization of the revolutionary movements that had cornered capitalism at different points in the 20th century.

This succeeded in shackling all yearnings for freedom and emancipation, provoking a widespread exodus of revolutionary movements that later converged in the ideas of postmodernism. Faced with the fall and crisis of these revolutionary movements, it seems that many found a way out: retreating into individual subjectivity and fleeing to the market as the guarantor of a happiness based on the privatization of life (the destruction of community) and the hyperconsumption characteristic of postmodernism. The hyperconsumption of identities is particularly noteworthy. Continue reading “An Anarchist Critique of Post-Modernism and Post-Anarchism” →

In August and September 2025, after the murder of a motorbike courier during a protest against government corruption and police brutality in Jakarta, Indonesia exploded into a huge popular uprising which rocked the regime of the ex-military President Prabowo. After the riots, the ruling elites blamed the “anarchists” for causing the unrest and they started to round up thousands of young people in major cities, blaiming them for taking part in the protests.

Across the country, young people were snatched by the anti-terrorist unit, ‘Densus 88’, and tortured until they gave false testimony. The regime attacked young people in the streets, delivery drivers, IT workers, activists, punks, journalists, musicians & others, who were all accused of serious “crimes”…

Come and find out about the ‘Chaos Star‘ frame-up of more than 70 accused anarchists. Come and find out how the cops were able to round up the anarchist, radical left and alternative scenes in Indonesia. What can we learn from the repression? What are the roles of anarchists during mass insurrections?

How we can support the hundreds of prisoners? Find out @ BASE, 15/3/26

“Yet Another War of Extermination” – Letter by anarchist prisoner Luca ‘Stecco’ Dolce (Italy)

Posted on 2026/01/21 - 2026/01/22 by darknights

Now that the masses all over the world have expressed their solidarity with Gaza, I’d be curious to know how social scientist Elias Canetti(1) would describe his concept of the “masses” in such a technological, warmongering and at the same time, exterminating age as ours. He says that mass society exists in the mind of human beings before it materially expresses itself. If ancient societies chose certain social and economic forms of mere subsistence, it was because they deliberately chose not to use bureaucratic or authoritarian methods: they foresaw their dangers. Our ancestors, therefore, were perfect political animals, aware and active observers of the community’s social life.

So what are these squares and streets full of people today, if in our daily lives we go back to the riverbed of a life organized and imposed by others?

Now that the “truce” in Gaza is divulged and imposed with the stamp of the army boot and the mediatic hype on the Flotilla, now that they are silencing and dampening the surge against the massacre, how to transform it into an action going beyond the manifestation and expression of opinions? Power uses human emotions as a can opener; often, the former gives its best in its “delayed reaction” empathic emotion and during “emergencies”, and it coagulates in peaks of scorn. A humanity which is nevertheless still alive despite all the efforts to atomize it. Its more progressive components are proving united in the face of the evidence of an extermination. Over the reaction timing, we should reason at length. Unfortunately, we haven’t yet understood in depth how deceitful and blackmailing the tactics of the enemies of life are, to what extent do commodities and quiet living manage to recuperate the movements, even sincere ones, at least here in Europe. In order to be more incisive and longsighted they have to doggedly overcome exactly the traps scattered over the ground of the struggle, which have the precise function of making everyone go back to the wishy-washy pen of the democratic morals, to issues such as the use of liberating violence or not, to inaction. Let’s move from emotions to self-organizing and direct action. If the roads of freedom are hindered, revolutionary movements of the past teach us opacity and going underground.

Update about Alfarisi bin Rikosen, 21 years old, arrested on 9th September 2025 – Indonesia

Posted on 2026/01/10 - 2026/01/10 by darknights

Update about Alfarisi bin Rikosen, 21 years old, arrested in Surabaya on 9th September 2025: Today, 7 January 2026, Alfarisi’s family have stated through Alfarisi’s brother and Alfarisi’s lawyer, that Alfarisi did not have any medical condition, as claimed and propagated by cops through media and NGOs. Several times Alfarisi’s brother was able to visit him in custody, and he said that Alfarisi was tortured physically. Police are now refusing to answer any questions. Kontras, an independant human rights and anti-torture NGO still hasn’t got any confirmation from police. Police claimed that the family of Alfarisi said he had a medical condition. In the statement today, Alfarisi’s brother and lawyer denied they gave any such statement to police about that medical condition. So, if he didn’t have any medical condition, there’s only one answer left: he died under torture.

Greece: Two texts in memory of anarchist comrade Georgia K. EN/GR

Two texts in memory of anarchist comrade Georgia K.

***

The star of chaos illuminates our rebellious and restless souls in the gloom of civilised society. Each of its endless rays is a path to the uncharted and turbulent waters of freedom. Black memory is the sextant that helps us navigate those paths that were traced by our comrades who passed away, where their voices still echo like battle cries. Every memory of their struggles is a call for us to advance even further, to push the attack even harder.

In December 2025 we once again drank the bitter cup of mourning. This time for our iconoclast comrade, Georgia K., from Thessaloniki.

We place her memory in the great arsenal of the anarchist war against society. We will never forget the youthful flame that burned defiantly in her eyes until her last breath; this is how those who have conquered life and inviduality look at the world.

We weren’t lucky enough to know her from years ago, but that’s how we felt from the beginning through our long conversations. She gave us so much, and inspired us so much.

Georgia, we never said goodbye to you, we only said “see you”, because in the streets we will see you again and again.

…Our dead – as it seems – look so alive compared to the haunted mute puppets who walk daily among us with bowed heads.

***

I will always remember that look on your face when we first met.

A look full of fire and passion!

It was the fire I dream of.

The passion that I have inside me, that never fades.

My rage that, instead of calming down, is fueled more and more in the hated prison-society.

You told me so much that night, just with that look of yours…

That look that will always remind me that I must never give up, that I must not resign.

And, by putting fear aside, to embrace passion and yearning for desctruction in every moment, always smiling…

PROIEZIONE DI “TO KILL A WAR MACHINE” SU PALESTINE ACTION
(CARRARA, 11 GENNAIO 2026)

Proiezione di To Kill a War Machine su Palestine Action
Domenica 11 gennaio 2026

Ore 18:00.

A seguire aperitivo a buffet.

Thessaloniki, Greece: Farewell to our comrade Georgia K.

Posted on 2026/01/03 by darknights

Something difficult

If anything keeps us alive and eager to wake up every day, it is our stubborn determination to fight until we see our dreams come true. Over the years of this constant inner flame, we change and try to adopt practices compatible with how we want to live, away from gods and masters. The flame never goes out, even if it flickers sometimes. As we wander through the real dystopian world, the people we meet make sure to keep us alive in the struggle simply by their presence. They are the figures around us who remind us to never stop, never back down. And when, unfortunately, we say goodbye to these figures, life stops for a moment before we remember that even then they inspire us to never back down.

Today we say goodbye to our comrade Georgia K.

Georgia, a long-time member of the station, was always there with all her strength to inspire us, to encourage us, and above all to take care of us. At meetings, discussions, and gatherings, she was there to listen and speak in her own way and with her own thoughts. She was always there to listen to our problems and generously offer help, advice, or a hug. Through the frequencies of 1431AM and the programs “Resistance Against Authority” and “Cry of the Butterfly,” she made sure to regularly convey events and opinions and to be the voice of the oppressed inside and outside the prison cells.

Georgia, we will miss you, thank you for everything. You inspired us throughout the journey. We will stay behind to make sure that the Cry of the Butterfly is heard loud and clear.

ALL OR NOTHING

LONG LIVE ANARCHY RE TSOKONTES

Free Social Radio

1431AM

To remember the feeling of freedom
the wild desires of a child the momentum of a vigorous will that does not resist
does not hesitate in the face of negotiation or dilemma
to destroy the Existent
that’s why before I go to sleep I want to hear the cry of the butterfly
to remember, not to forget.

Georgia, our friend, our comrade, was a free person. She spent her whole life outside social norms. She fought injustice in all its forms. An anarchist and a rebel, far from notions of guilt or innocence, she always stood by those who struggled, those whom society had marginalized.

An integral part of the rebellious anarchist scene for the last two decades, she participated in anti-repression struggles, nature protection (such as in Skouries), alongside impoverished immigrants, drug addicts, and prisoners. She became politicized after running away from home as a child, living on the streets of Germany, Turkey, and Athens, and then returning to her hometown of Thessaloniki.

Always unifying, she put the movement and the Cause above any egoism. Despite her age and experience, she never claimed infallibility or absolute truth, and sought to connect and collaborate with much younger comrades. Her political journey took her through the Immigrants’ Hangout, the 111 squat, the Solidarity Fund, the anarchist group Khanjali, the anarchist assembly for the insurrectionary perspective, the Athens Indymedia Management Team, and of course her beloved self-organized radio station 1431, would only be interrupted by death.

From today, every December 22 will dawn a little emptier. Her memory will light up the paths we walk, our joys, our sorrows, our defeats, and our victories.

We stood side by side with her in the face of the enemy. Together we celebrated our journey through this life.

Alfarisi bin Rikosen, 21, Dead in Police Custody – Surabaya (Indonesia)

Posted on 2026/01/03 by darknights

Alfarisi bin Rikosen, 21 years old, arrested on 9th September 2025 in Surabaya and imprisoned in Medaeng compound. He was accused of attacking a regional government building with a Molotov during the August uprising. Alfarisi was one of 288 people detained and tortured in Surabaya, where there are also 32 accused anarchists.

Alfarisi died in police custody on 30th December due to a long running serious health condition that the police denied him medical treatment for. His trial was due to start 6th of January 2026.

Alfarisi didn’t claim himself as an anarchist but he’s a brave fighter and we will always remember him through our shared struggle. Those who are responsible are the police and the Prabowo regime. Those who are right are those who rebel and resist tyranny until the end.

Solidarity means attack! ACAB!

European and International Corporate Targets – Indonesia

Posted on 2025/11/19 by darknights

Several multi-national companies operate and invest in Indonesia, such as Shell, BP, Unilever, Rolls Royce and GlaxoSmithKline, who have a large presence. In UK, Standard Chartered bank have investments in Indonesia and so does Prudential Plc. Other UK-based companies operating are Arup, Mott MacDonald and PwC.

The largest multinational bank operating in Indonesia is HSBC, which is a suitable target for coordinated action since it has branches and offices across the globe. We propose that where appropriate, individuals in each territory and region, should research which companies are operating in Indonesia, circulate and make that information and take direct action in solidarity with the prisoners of the anti-authoritarian mass uprising.

Against torture – For social war.
