Belarus: Anarchists convicted in ‘Pramen case’

On April 22 the verdict was pronounced in the so-called “Pramen case”. Aliaksandr Bialou, Jauhen Rubashka, Artsiom Salavei were sentenced to 5 years in prison, another Artsiom Salavei – to 4.5 years. The gravamen is unknown, since the trial was held in camera.

Aliaksandr and Jauhen were arrested on July 29, 2021 and charged with participation in the 2020 protests. Two activists named Artsiom Salavei (namesakes) were detained a week later. While the investigation was going on, the anarchist media collective Pramen and its website and social networks were recognised as an extremist formation. The guys were accused of promoting extremist activities on behalf of the collective.

In 2020-2021 all of the defendants had already been detained for various protests and arrested for short terms. [Jauhen said he was tortured, with plastic bags over his head and beatings, while in custody; Attaque note.]

Since the first day of my arrest, I have consciously chosen to keep a consistent position and refused to cooperate with the prosecution and interrogation authorities. Every time I spoke, I did it to claim certain historical and political responsibilities. Responsibilities towards my individual and collective path in the acts of revolutionary violence, as well as towards two of my comrades, on whose names from the very first moment the anti-terrorist unit tries to personify the lost pieces of the puzzle of the so-called deracination of Anarchist Action.

In this case, beyond what is objectively true and what is a lie, the greatest danger lies behind the political goals of the anti-terrorist unit. So, what are the shocking pieces of evidence of the service, infamous for its methodical lies: A ridiculous anonymous phone call that names me personally as the one responsible for a set of arson attacks in the region of Thessaloniki (a phone call whose number I assume is going to be missed in the trial by the hackers of the service), surveillance of ambiguous quality and origin taken from my personal daily life, my arrest together with my companion Georgia Voulgari in the house of Panos Kalaitzis, where I had in my possession a set of confiscated items that are named as “arsenal” and two clear political statements: the common responsibility claim of one and only arson attack at the FNRC from me and my companion and my personal responsibility claim of being a member of the Anarchist Action. The Great Reset Phase 2: War

Welcome to the second phase of the Great Reset: war.

While the pandemic acclimatised the world to lockdowns, normalised the acceptance of experimental medications, precipitated the greatest transfer of wealth to corporations by decimating SMEs and adjusted the muscle memory of workforce operations in preparation for a cybernetic future, an additional vector was required to accelerate the economic collapse before nations can ‘Build Back Better.’

I present below several ways in which the current conflict between Russia and Ukraine is the next catalyst for the World Economic Forum’s Great Reset agenda, facilitated by an interconnected web of global stakeholders and a diffuse network of public-private partnerships.

1. The war between Russia and Ukraine is already causing unprecedented disruption to global supply chains, exacerbating fuel shortages and inducing chronic levels of inflation.

As geopolitical tensions morph into a protracted conflict between NATO and the Sino-Russia axis, a second contraction may plunge the economy into stagflation.

In the years ahead, the combination of subpar growth and runaway inflation will force a global economic underclass into micro-work contracts and low-wage jobs in an emerging gig economy.

Another recession will compound global resource thirst, narrow the scope for self-sufficiency and significantly increase dependence on government subsidies.

With the immiseration of a significant portion of the world’s labour force looming on the horizon, this may well be a prelude to the introduction of a Universal Basic Income, leading to a highly stratified neo-feudal order.

Athens, Greece: Update from the march in solidarity with Anarchist G. Michailidis, in Exarcheia area on 9 April 2022

On Saturday 9 April, 2022 following the call of the assembly of solidarity with the imprisoned, persecuted and fugitive militants, more than 200 comrades gathered at Exarcheia Square in solidarity with the anarchist prisoner Giannis Michailidis.

During the meeting, which lasted about an hour and a half, the text of the assembly was read, texts were distributed and fliers thrown. Then a march followed through the streets of the dependencies, without the presence of the police or any other problems.

The response to the meeting and the march was another message to the State that the anarchist comrade Giannis is not alone. He has with him the movement of solidarity with the political prisoners that will always give all its strength to break the regime of exclusion that the State and capital have in store for them. The “indefinite” detention regime imposed on the comrade is another example of this brutal repression of the enemy within.

Athens, Greece: Text of two imprisoned comrades

Comrades, we are writing to you from the penitentiary hellholes of Korydallos and Avloras, two more detention centres, both of which aim at our physical confinement and remorse of our political conscience. By making our case public, we would like the reason for our detention and evidence of the practices of the EΛ.ΑΣ National Police used against us to come out.

In the early hours of 14 November 2021 we didn’t stop during a check carried out by a DIAS cops bikes team in the area of New Faliro. Immediately a chase was launched against us by a civilian vehicle that did not bear the characteristics of the service. As white people, we did not receive a plethora of bullets, but in the area of Moschato, the car rammed us while we were moving and threw us on the road (with a high risk of being fatally injured). Our arrest was linked to an attack on the Piraeus traffic police earlier that night, which took place more than three kilometers from the checkpoint (the checkpoint was being controlled by fixed units outside the stinking Skye channel). We were taken to the ΓΑΔΑ, (Athens Police HQ) where we refused to give fingerprints, which, as well as genetic material, were ordered to be compulsorily taken a day before we went before an interrogator in an attempt to identify us with the evidence found in the attack and with previous cases. With invalid evidence against us, it was decided to remand us in custody on the pretext of identical clothing, as shown by video footage from the department.

This case is a fiasco and a desperate attempt by the police to win a major victory and legitimize the new criminal code in the eyes of the public. A decisive role in this is played by the state disinformation media, which first ran to prejudge us, using against us evidence with no legal basis – they talked about a yafka house(safe-house), an explosives manufacturing plant and spread false news about the first Molotov cocktail detention in Greece, thus exaggerating the work of the police and the necessity of the changes in the criminal code. The changes to article 272 and how they relate to the changes to 264 and 270 are intended to spread terror in the anarchist/anti-racist movement, to anyone who resists or questions the sovereignty of the state and its partners. As anarchists we are not surprised by this case and how it has developed so far, we do not believe in bourgeois justice and have no illusions about who it serves. Hi everyone,

Although my designers pompously christened me “RISO comcolor 7050” when I left the factory, I am better known as the Libertad Anarchist Library’s printer-copier. My move away from the filthy mouth of the real estate speculators who initially employed me gave me a bit of a thrill two years ago: goodbye invoices, rent receipts and other advertising leaflets to be reproduced… and long live subversive ideas! Just imagine if I had had to end my days in yet another branch of domination, printing indigestible university dissertations or insipid democratic petitions addressed to the authorities. In short, in this Belleville library, it was rather posters, leaflets, newspapers, brochures and other anti-authoritarian gems that began to parade before my eyes at a jerky rhythm, when I wasn’t snoozing in my corner in the middle of books and heated discussions against the old world.

Until this beautiful spring afternoon…

Tuesday, March 29, 2022, after having removed about fifteen screws to remove several casings and finally access my entrails, some curious individuals suddenly found themselves face to face with a small red light. While they were trying for the umpteenth time to solve a recurrent failure, they came across a well-hidden listening device. I don’t know how long it had been there, but the police lackeys must have at least entered the library when no one was there, before choosing my gut to hide it in and to do some tinkering. To do so, they directly soldered two cables to my power socket, which they then connected to a transformer (220v/12v), itself connected to a small box containing a modified RB800 router card, a battery, a 64 GB micro SD card, an Orange sim card… from which were protruding an antenna and two microphones (left and right), fixed as close as possible to the slots opening onto the outside. The imposing stature of my carcass preventing it from going on the road, they didn’t consider it necessary to add a GPS, although the connectivity is present inside the box. Finally, after a little autopsy, it turns out that this device was manufactured by one of the suppliers of various intelligence services: Innova, located in Trieste (Italy)*.

As for the background, there is nothing surprising in the fact that those who intend to destroy all authority are the object of the indiscreet attention of the State, whether in libraries or homes, in vehicles or via cell phones, in the context of judicial investigations as well as in the context of the “white notes” of the intelligence services. Even if it is more widely any individual who does not fall into line who can enter into their sights. And so, it is neither the first nor the last time that some and others will unearth surveillance devices here or there.

To continue to defend and spread one’s subversive ideas without falling into paranoia, while finding ways to deepen affinities far from any electronic device, remains a challenge. As for making this discovery public so that it can be useful to all -according to the good advice that our friend Riso immediatly provided-, it seems to us the minimum to do in this kind of situation.

Barcelona 27F – The massacre of freedom

Since February 27, 2021, four comrades have been in jail at BRIANS I in Martorell (BC). Initially the arrests were 8. Giving substance to one’s antimilitarism – especially in this period of war propaganda, which has passed uninterruptedly from covid to war – is the sign of a particularly admirable ethical tension. While the whole of the national press and politicians hastened to label the demonstrators “pacifists” and condemn the gesture, we think that shouting “Murderers!” at the military, regardless of historical contingencies, is the truth, pure and simple. Italy: Update about the comrades arrested on March 16th: Evelin’s arrest order annulled and Gianluca’s confirmed

On April 6th was held the hearing of the re-examination court on the precautionary measures for Gianluca and Evelin, anarchist comrades accused of “possession of deflagrant and explosive material, attempted manufacture of improvised explosive devices and possession of deflagrant material with the aim of attacking public safety”, arrested on March 16th on a warrant from the public prosecutor’s office of Genoa and later transferred under house arrest.

Today, April 8th, the comrades were notified of the result of the hearing: the arrest order against Evelin was “annulled for lack of serious evidence of guilt”, therefore the comrade is released from house arrest, while it is confirmed for Gianluca, who remains under house arrest, without any change in the specific restrictions (no communication with persons other than close family members, no leaving the perimeter of the house even to buy food, no receiving correspondence, etc., and periodic checks by the police).
