Returning from self-imposed hiatus, to rethink what the 325 and Dark Nights project means, to work on several upcoming publications, but also it is healthy to take a step back back from the spectacle that counter-info can become, all too aware that without the insurrectional praxis it can become a void.

Without further ado, our collective will be bringing out a new Dark Nights publication next month concentrating on the militaristic hellscape that is occuring in Eastern Europe, which we see as a continuation of conflicts being waged in Syria, Yemen, previously in Iraq and Afghanistan, but also a continuation of the military industrial techno complex’s pursuit of total control. We find recent texts released by anarchists in the UK & Italy are a direction that all anarchists must pursue because an anti-militarist praxis is one of many anarchist priciples that has been forgotten or outright ignored by those of a more liberal, leftist and even communist deviations in anarchist circles. We are not miltaristic, we do not enlist in nationalistic or imerpialistic wars and we definitly do not join any army, be it democratic or fascist or communist! Too easily anarchists forget the disgusting ‘Manifesto of the Sixteen (1916)’, that even Kropotkin was a signatore of, that condoned joining the massacre in the trenches that was World War I.

We plan in the future to critique the miltaristic tendancy that has been occuring within anarchist circles internationally, beginning in Rojava and now manifesting itself in horrendous fashion in the Ukraine.

Further to the new Dark Nights publication, we are in the early stages of planning a new #13 edition of 325. We encourage any comrades, individuals and projects to contact us with proposals for articles to include in the new edition or any ideas for the direction it will take. We are wanting to make a shift away from an exclusive concentration on technology and science, to start to open up a critique and analysis on a international context. There have been recent proposals for what is known as an ‘International’ in the past few years, we want to further this critique and analysis that such comrades as Alfredo Cospito (‘What International?’), Gustavo Rodriguez and Gabriel Pombo da Silva, have already started. We are particulary interested in hearing from comrades internationally from their own struggles wherever they maybe, in how they relate to international co-ordination. Critiques and analysis of past manifestations of international networks will also be appreciated.

Other future publications we plan to release are about the Direct Action Cells of Greece and a further collection of texts by Gustavo Rodriguez.

Until then… More of this… As comrades are already doing on this techno prison island.

Against the drift towards militarisation, attack and sabotage the machines of control and massacre all around us.

Lets destroy their peace, continue our own war against the existent and against civilization’s grip upon our whole lives!

Absolute complicity and solidarity to anarchist comrades Gianluca Iacovacci & Evelin Sterni recently arrested by the Italian state.

Spain: Legal developments since last public statement on Gabriel Pomba Da Silva (April 2021)

Posted on 2022/02/12 - 2022/02/12 by darknights

With this communiqué we want to inform about the current legal situation that continues to prevent the release of our anarchist comrade, despite the fact that 2 years have passed since his arrest (we remember illegal). It is evident the will of the executioners in robes to continue kidnapping Gabriel. With any means that their (almost) unlimited powers allow them, they abuse demonstrating their will to continue turning time into a weapon.

The sadness of the legal message (which we use in a synthetic and cold way) becomes strength knowing that our comrade is in very good health and spirits, despite this situation, and despite the discriminatory treatment he has been suffering for months after having refused the anti-Covid “vaccine” (he is not allowed to have vis-a-vis and can only receive visits by telephone). As always, he is investing his time (in his hands, as in ours, time can also become a weapon) reading books, receiving and writing letters, dedicating himself to translations and physical exercises and to freedom projects that we hope will materialize as soon as possible. The communication interception has been retroactively annulled (before last summer the Provincial Court, with a firm sentence, established the “non-dangerousness of the inmate”). In response, the prison took revenge by denying the second permit for “belonging to armed gangs” (the appeal has been dismissed with the excuse of the “remoteness of the date of compliance” -November 2030-, without going into the matter of the unjustified and false accusation of “armed gangs”… note the plural! Until this date of compliance is not modified, it is not possible to ask for another permit – the answer of the supreme court regarding the possibility of recasting to 20 years should have arrived last autumn, but the solicitor responsible for the processing of the appeal did not process it, making us lose 6 months (legal sewers of state part 1). The same court reinstated the appeal and we had to wait another 5 or 6 months at least. Spain: Elisa Di Bernardo – “We are winning battles for Gabriel Pombo’s freedom”.

Posted on 2021/09/11 - 2021/09/12 by darknights

“Never having approached drugs, being very clear about his ideas, and his physical and mental strength have helped him to survive in prison, despite the FIES. Almost all of his comrades have died. He survived a genocide” explains in Oviedo the companion of the anarchist prisoner.

Elisa di Bernardo went to Oviedo yesterday to tell the situation of her colleague Gabriel Pombo da Silva. Invited by the group Higinio Carrocera, in collaboration with the local Cambalache, taking advantage of her visit to Pombo to the prison of Mansilla de las Mulas in León, Elisa gave a very complete account of both the legal situation of the anarchist prisoner and his life and struggle in his more than 30 years in the prisons of the State. It was a talk that not only served to have information about Pombo but also to show how, inside the prison walls, “democracy” disappears and one enters a dark world, subjected to physical and psychological torture, to personal revenge by judges and jailers, to prisons inside the prison (FIES). In addition, Elisa gave us perspective and context on how inequality, misery, injustice and poverty consubstantial to the capitalist and statist system manufactures criminals.

Elisa began the talk by taking out of her backpack three important books to know the situation of prisoners and the world of the anti-prison struggle: “Extrema Indigencia, extrema violencia”, “Para que no me olvides” by Madres Unidas contra la Droga and the Informe sobre la Tortura en el Estado español that Elisa explained was censored by the police, as it tells the saddest time of the FIES regime (files of inmates of special monitoring).

After this bibliographical introduction Elisa di Bernardo spoke about Gabriel Pombo’s life trajectory. “They lived in Vigo in a shack until they emigrated to Germany to earn a living. There he discovers a new world and also begins to know the instinctive solidarity among the poor. The first political question Gabriel asked himself was: “If my father builds houses, why don’t we have a house? Greece, Athens: Responsibility Claim for Arson Attacks by Direct Action Cells – Cell ‘Mauricio Morales’

Posted on 2021/07/13 - 2021/07/13 by darknights

The decay and ugliness of the present is not hidden behind theoretical embellishments. Instead, it relies on the transparency of habit and the power of acquiescence. There is not the slightest reason to face the war of the increasingly authoritarian bourgeois-democratic order against those who are left over or who rebel against its multidimensional existential cheapness in search of new life perspectives. They struggle anxiously for our annihilation or our political mutilation and this is revealed by their repeated repressive moves against movement activities, against our spaces, against militants. Consciously or not, they understand that the unification of the institutions of oppression and the maintenance of the hegemony of capital implies the corresponding possible unification and strengthening of the revolutionary forces. They fear the prospect of an acute social war setting fire to the bowels of the capitalist world, as we are already seeing happening in various corners of the planet.

In order to make its counterinsurgency campaigns bear fruit, the New Democracy government is deploying archaic means of policing, referring many times to the tactics of other regimes, proving that the deeper essence of power remains unchanged throughout time. With complete callousness as regards the safeguarding of public health in times of pandemic, and with great audacity towards its political opponents, the government is channelling millions of euros directly into the pockets of the media owners, the logistical upgrading of the police and businessmen in its entourage. Without any concern for even an apparent social cohesion, the rulers, immersed in the impunity offered by their power, are creating a pervasive condition where the parts of the social base are moving in a direction of mutual conflict. They respond to their incompetence and contradictions by sharpening their biopolitics, with ever more totalitarian means of control and repression: Unveiled and well-funded media propaganda, bans on demonstrations and the crushing of those who claim the streets, upgrading the role of the police, enriching the repressive means and methodologies, curtailing individual freedoms, dismantling labour rights and directly attacking the income of the working class, confiscating first homes, spreading nationalist rants, imposition of silence or disinformation around the countless scandals (Novartis, Noor 1, tele-infiltration, Petsas list)*, silencing of anti-establishment voices, passing of anti-labour, anti-environmental and anti-education bills, separation of citizens into vaccinated and non-vaccinated, extreme devaluation and invisibility of prisoners, immigrants and the homeless, i.e. the people who are surplus to requirements for the functioning of the social machine.

Through the intensity of state propaganda, through the news, the government and the Greek police speak directly, the bourgeois interests speak directly. Every day they shamelessly throw up government propaganda, paving the way for the gradual invasion of surveillance and repression into every aspect of our existence. They are daily plotting our death in the vomitous television screens. The fight against the fear imposed by the rulers, the necessity to organize revolutionary violence in the present through Direct Action Cells striking at state and capitalist interests, is a small first step. Printed copies coming soon…

We present a new book by Black International Editions, an internationalist project of anarchic diffusion that, from an informal and seditious anarcho-insurrectional intent, resurfaces in Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and English, with a new title: “Incendiary Dialogues: For the Propagation of Anarchic Sedition”. The title is based on a dialogue on the course of the anarchic war between comrades Alfredo Cóspito, Gustavo Rodríguez and Gabriel Pombo da Silva.

We consciously decided to launch this booklet on May 22, in timely celebration of Chaos Day, remembering anarchist comrade Mauricio Morales, who, on a day like today in 2009 left this life fighting against Power when the bomb he was carrying in his backpack exploded prematurely, detonating a few meters away from the Gendarmerie School in Chile.

We dedicate this book to all our comrades in prison around the world, with a special dedication to our comrade Alfredo Cóspito, imprisoned in Italy, and to our beloved Gabriel Pombo Da Silva, who was arrested in Portugal and extradited to Spain at the time this book was published. We send all our strength to comrade Gabriel in the face of this new revenge by the authorities for his eternal irreducible struggle.

This book will have printed versions that will circulate in affinity spaces, among comrades and diverse anarchic projects around the world. We invite you to actively support its diffusion by sharing its digital version, printing copies and/or making presentations and launches wherever there is a willingness to do the impossible in order to spread chaos and extend anarchic warfare.
