As expected, once again, the police-DAEB in collaboration with the corrupt judges did what they know best to do, to “cook”, to direct, to set up the trials and to get the result they want. Thus, with great audacity, the prosecutor Pappas Spyridon, within an hour, without any substantial arguments and a clear picture, “bagged” most of the accused, assigning to five of them the charge of 187A, that of terrorist organization. A specific name often used by the state and the judiciary to suppress their enemies. In other words, those who chose to oppose social cannibalism, those who chose not to be slaves of the bosses, those who do not accept the few to rule the many, for a life of freedom. Freedom is a basic foundation of life, it is in the nature of human beings, let alone prisoners, to seek it. Thus, on Thursday 10/7, in the Loukareos courts, some of the accused chose the path to freedom, even at the risk of their own lives. Despite the protection measures of the state apparatus and without any scruples about the consequences of this decision, they clashed with the cops, managing to wrest the weapon from one and immobilize a second. However, in their attempt to free the remaining accused, the cops regrouped and the escape attempt ended. They may not have won their freedom this time, but they managed to humiliate the entire security system with its armed cops, sending a strong message of solidarity and the realization that with risk and will, anything can happen. Update to early July 2025. In these days news arrives again regarding the particularly afflictive situation that the management of the Bancali prison, probably in concert with the Ministry of so-called justice, is imposing on our anarchist comrade Alfredo Cospito, particularly with regard to epistolary correspondence.

Recall that censorship of incoming and outgoing mail is a constitutive element of the 41 bis regime to which the comrade is subjected. For a long time Alfredo has received no letters, postcards, telegrams or communications of any kind. This is despite the fact that many of us are continuing to write to him, even with collective correspondence initiatives such as the one that took place in Foligno last May 31. In addition, the prison management has long since stopped notifying the prisoner of the notice of censorship, a document against which to appeal in order to receive the epistolary material placed under seizure. The mail simply disappears into thin air.

This behavior is in addition to a long series of persecutory dispositions aimed at the psychological and political destruction of his comrade: from denying him access to books already ordered and authorized, to CDs or headphones to listen to music, to reporting him to the bar association for his defenders guilty of shaking his hand and giving him a kiss at the time of the interview-that is, guilty of treating him as a human being.

All this in an already enormously afflictive context such as that of 41 bis, which provides for two hours of air per day in groups of a maximum of four people decided by the ministry, one hour of interview per month with a family member separated by glass or alternatively ten minutes of phone calls during which the authorized family member must go inside a barracks to call. As well as, as mentioned above, the censorship of correspondence and the inability to read books dealing with subjects deemed sensitive (and the great difficulties in finding any books in general).

We firmly denounce that this doggedness is evidently a state vendetta for the intransigence and determination with which the hunger strike of 2022-23 and the international solidarity mobilization were conducted, putting the spotlight on the shadowy zone that is 41 bis with unprecedented intensity, going to pickaxe that phony celestial aura that surrounds the anti-mafia-anti-terrorism structure.

Moreover, a doggedness that comes in the aftermath of Undersecretary Delmastro’s 8-month sentence for revelations of an official act, which matured precisely in the scoundrel’s attempt to smear Alfredo Cospito during his hunger strike.

The misery of these characters in the face of the consistency of an anarchist who never bowed his head jumps to the eye. On the one hand one who kneecaps a nuclear witch doctor, on the other who on New Year’s Eve high on cocaine in a moment of rare consistency shoots himself in the legs.

In the climate of world warfare these days, we reiterate that these incidents should be read as real policies of war against the enemy within. Great are the challenges that engage revolutionaries in such a historical period, but all the more so we cannot and will not leave anyone behind. For whoever forgets the prisoners of the revolutionary struggle, forgets the revolutionary struggle itself.

In view of the possible renewal of 41 bis for Alfredo Cospito in May next year, let us make sure that this, too, returns to being a battlefield fraught with contradictions for the state.

We take responsibility for the double attack with low-powered incendiary devices at dawn on 14/05/25 at the entrances of the apartment buildings where the MP of the New Democracy Maximos Charakopoulos and the uniformed scum of the Greek National Police, Giannis Meidanis, reside.

Our moves were not at all accidental as they are a first sign of aggressive solidarity with those arrested for the events at the DAP-NDFK event at the Law School. Our attack had been decided to take place some weeks later. However, we found it necessary to bring it forward because of the events, redefining the climate of fear that Chrysochoidis in unbridled collaboration with the media wants to imbue us with and returning fear to the eyes of those who should be blooming. Because for every visit you make to the homes of your comrades and comrades-in-arms, we will make a visit to yours.

A very faint layer of light unites the political and the personal, like the light of the twilight in the early morning, where you don’t know when the night ends and the day begins, where the boundaries of one are blurred within the boundaries of the other. In your democracy and your friends’ democracy nothing else fits because you have taken care of it, as you would not exist if you did not impose your social system and you know it. That is why you have shielded this complex and seemingly impenetrable system of yours with the defences of interlocking. These mechanisms were evident from the very first hours when you began to weave your cover-up plan. Without of course in any way comparing cases, it is the same people who dare to slander the relatives of the victims of Tempi and cover up the case. I have nothing to do with this particular case no matter how much the police and media may have a burning desire to implicate me, and whatever they may try to “cook up” in the future.
I will simply report some of their lies to expose their game.

The media keeps saying that during my previous arrest, Snizana was carrying a bag of weapons on my behalf. The truth is that she was acquitted in court as it was proven that she never carried any backpack with weapons.
The media tells about the close relationship I had with Snizana, the visits I made with her in prison and our daily communication. The truth is that both the visits and the telephone communications are recorded, which means that once again they are proven to be lying as there is none of the above.
The media these days are saying and falsely photographing me that I have taken responsibility and sent e-mails, while the truth is that another person has taken responsibility, has already given a statement to the police (Greek FBI) about the incident and has been called to testify to the relevant investigator next week. As long as we experience modern totalitarianism, as long as the blades of domination cripple us, solidarity will heal our wounds like medicine. Even if they bury us, like seeds we will sprout, here and there, irregularly. In the most barren soils. We will bloom at unspecified times where they least expect it. On 12/11/24, I was sentenced to 6 months of pretrial detention. From the first days in prison, I submitted a request for release, which was rejected 40 days later. I submitted a second request and after waiting two months, I received a negative response, while at almost the same time, the case was scheduled for trial on May 2. This, in my opinion, is a ploy, as they rushed to set the court date without me having time to make a third request. Because in this case, for bureaucratic reasons, the procedures regarding the file would cease and therefore the result would be that I would be released due to the end of the term. However, I am quoting this as a note. I believe it is more important to mention what these responses of the judicial councils were regarding my requests. These are 30 pages of unfounded allegations and successive leaps of logic. In them, a ridiculous story unfolds where, given my guilt, they argue that the methodology and characteristics of this action demonstrate a person capable of committing more similar crimes, taking into account my particular personality, which they refer to again and again.

They talk about my disrespect for the authorities, to conclude that I have an overwhelming desire to harm them. They write once again about the books and publications of anarchist content that were found in my house, in order to strengthen the above repeated narrative of the very dangerous anarchist. They even quote part of the text that announced the action of October 11, which I am accused of. At that point, it writes about the beatings of young people by the cops in the city of Messolonghi. After this quote, they initially resort to the frivolous argument that these are incidents that only someone who knows the local police could know about. Claiming in essence that I am responsible for the specific text. Of course, in the second response, this claim is absent. It had been replaced with the equally arbitrary conclusion that I did the deed and bragged about it to third parties in the anarchist space who made the publication in question. All of this confirms how well the judicial scum know how to throw accusations into the air without any substantive basis. On 2/5 I am on trial in Messolonghi for placing an explosive device in front of the AT, facing charges of arson by intent, explosion by intent, possession of explosives and damage to another’s property.

The political background of this case is clear. I perceive this particular persecution as a direct attack on my person and on the way I choose to exist as a political subject. Not as an isolated situation, but as part of the hunt for consciences that the state has unleashed with the aim of crushing every trace of reaction even in thought. The dystopian present is growing. People are being taken to courtrooms because they possess stickers, posters and gadgets. The uniformed thugs of the Greek National Police (ELAS) are bursting into the homes of female students on charges of writing slogans, activists are being remanded in custody under ridiculous pretexts and the pit of repression is deepening. The state is death, it is the robbery of our breath, the debauchery, the suppression of human dignity. Nothing is accidental. This is its essence and it wants us expendable, if not dead.

However, unfortunately for the masters, with great stubbornness bars bend, walls fall, kingdoms crumble. The dynamics of the struggle are not suppressed. I still remember the fearful discussions of the cops who guarded the entire AT (cops station) area during my detention. Then I felt very strongly what it is like for fear to change sides. Nothing is in vain. Every moment of practical questioning of this rotten world is a punch to the body of power, a hammer blow to the knees of bourgeois justice, a blow to the foundations of confinement. Anarchy lives and will pass over them. The small streams of disobedience will transform into a rushing river. The anti-state struggles continue unmediated so that we can breathe, so that we can look each other in the eye, so that we can see the sun brighter, for the cause. Through the streets of denial, a new world will blossom.

A huge thank you from the bottom of my heart to all those who have been involved in any way with my persecution. Your solidarity gives me indescribable strength. Struggle is life and life is in the struggle.

OPERATION SCRIPTA SCELERA: ABSOLUTION OF THE ANARCHISTS ACCUSED IN THE TRIAL OF MASSA FOR THE PUBLICATION OF ‘BEZMOTIVNY’. AN 8 MONTH SENTENCE FOR OFFENSE TO THE HONOUR OR PRESTIGE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC (ITALY)

On April 8th, 2025, the sentence was pronounced in the ongoing trial in Massa against four anarchist comrades indicted for the publication of the internationalist anarchist fortnightly ‘Bezmotivny’ (repressive operation on August 8th, 2023). The defendants – who were involved in the operation together with six other comrades for whom the proceedings remained at the investigation stage – were charged with incitement to commit crimes and apologia of crimes and offences of terrorism (art. 414 of penal code, paragraphs 1, 3 and 4) with the aggravating circumstance of the purpose of terrorism (art. 270 bis 1, penal code), for the publication of the about sixty issues of ‘Bezmotivny’, and of offence to the honour or prestige of the president of the republic (art. 278, penal code), concerning a specific article (‘Soffiare sul fuoco’, published in ‘Bezmotivny’, year I, issue 17, October 25th, 2021).

All the defendants were acquitted of the charge of multiple aggravated incitement to commit crimes ‘because the fact does not exist’, whereas Luigi was sentenced to eight months, without the application of recidivism, for offending the honour or prestige of the president of the republic (the other three defendants were also acquitted of this charge ‘for not having committed the fact’). The request for compensation by the State attorney’s office was also denied.

At the end of the indictment held at the previous hearing on April 1st, public prosecutor Manotti of the DDAA (‘Anti-Mafia and Anti-Terrorism District Directorate’) of Genoa had requested 7 years’ imprisonment for Gino, 6 years for Luigi (with the revocation of the suspended sentence for a previous conviction imposed on him by the court of Ravenna) and 5 years and 6 months each for Gaia and Paolo, while the State attorney for the presidency of the council of ministers had requested compensation of half a million euro.

Italy: Anarchist Prisoner Ghespe Hospitalized

On the night of 14 to 15 February, an arrest put an end, after about two years, to the fugitive status of Salvatore “Ghespe” Vespertino. The beatings and threats he suffered in detention led him to make an extreme gesture: in order to leave the section of the Soto del Real prison in Madrid, he cut the veins on his arms and was transferred to the psychiatric hospital where he was again subjected to ill-treatment. The rule is that anyone who endangers his or her own life is subject to hospitalization and medication under duress. Ghespe specifies that his act was not carried out with a suicidal intention.

After his release from hospital, he was extradited to Italy on March 4 and locked up in Rebibbia prison in Rome. On 20 March, he was transferred to Spoleto prison and placed provisionally in the infirmary section. In the early morning hours of June 27th [2024] we attacked the house and the police guard of the President of the Supreme Court, Ioanna Klapa, in the Papagos area. That summer evening found the cop who happened to be on duty instead of carelessly gazing at Instagram photos or playing slots (in earlier watches this seemed to be how those on duty spent their time) screaming from the Molotov cocktails that burned him and then being rushed to the emergency room by his colleagues, badly injured. And Klapa, instead of sleeping, fearfully putting out the fire in the entrance and garden of her house.

But why did we choose to attack Klapa while her house was being guarded?

First of all, it was an operational choice with three political considerations. It was not a matter of mere desire or convenience but of collective recognition of the need to attack, yes, using the element of surprise, but on a guarded target. In a field where, in theory, immediate engagement reflexes have been designed and provided for by the police guard to protect the high profile person. In this area there is not room for much analysis. Their preparedness and the proud spirit of the Greek police corps went out the window. Although their operational planning was disgraced, we, to tell the truth, acknowledge that we did not achieve anything particularly great. Life the next day went on as usual, a world of squalor and rot remained the same and the violence of apathy, misery and deadlock still lingers. We had no illusions that we would achieve the most decisive blow to the mechanisms of bourgeois justice and the police. To be a substantially dangerous pole in the social war, however, you have to sharpen the violent responses quantitatively and qualitatively. This is a finding that is eloquently described even by renowned academics and in particular by the jurist Manoledakis: “The overthrow of a political power, and especially today when the state has a perfected huge mechanism for eliminating its opponents, cannot be done on paper or with wishful thinking. In order for the ‘political criminal’ to reach his goal, he must willingly or unwillingly violate a multitude of legal value so that his crime always appears complex. The state is a legal value entangled with other legal values (human lives, personal freedoms, facilities, services, etc.). To reach it you have to go through these values”. So we recognized the importance of such an action and achieved a goal that was both realistic and decisive. To wound their confidence and arrogance, to wound the security they feel in the quiet of their homes and their service cars. We have succeeded, and literally. The burn scars of the security guard will be there to remind him and his colleagues when they notice them that they are in fact vulnerable no matter how much they may think otherwise.

Here lies the second aspect of the rationale behind our attack and the conditions under which it was carried out. The central outcome of our operational planning was to completely destroy the service vehicle and injure the cop, which is what happened. If to some ears this sounds too violent and alienating to their humanistic, pea-brained little minds, then we are speaking and addressing those who read this text and either consciously and with clear political and ideological commitment advocate revolutionary violence by all means or those who instinctively rejoiced and chuckled when they heard the news of a cop being injured that day. To all of them we say that this act was another contribution to the feud we have with the bollocks of the Hellenic Police. We owe this feud and its continuation to our dead. It is a deep and conscious choice with the first and foremost weapon being the determination that defines the need to avenge our dead.
