Bristol, UK: CCTV cameras and solar panels destroyed at GRC Security protected site

Posted on 2025/05/02 - 2025/04/30 by darknights

28th April 2025

We chose a soft target, a warm up to bigger things. Easy like throwing a dart into a grapefruit!

Around Bristol G.R.C. Security (now linked to Cava Security) have been pissing off travellers for quite a few years, carrying out common law evictions, using their bulk weight violence, the law and threats of fire. So one place they guard and partol is the old mounted police and dog section, now owned by the Caravan Club, which is situated on Clanage Rd., Bower, Ashton at the foot of the Clifton suspension bridge. It was really easy to scale the perimeter fence with identity concealed, then finding a long plank of wood to batter the CCTV cameras and solar panels.

Also a little dickie bird whispered on the ‘grapefruit’ vine that at the Brandon Hill ‘old’ cop shop eviction one of Cava Security’s vehicles lost some air from their tyres. Keep your eyes open for those dart boards!

London, UK: Vandalism at the Italian Cultural Center in London in Solidarity with anarchist Alfredo Cospito

Posted on 2023/03/01 by darknights

Vandalism at the Italian Cultural Center in London

It appears that on 24th February, something unfortunate happened to the Italian Cultural Institute in London.

At this sophisticated outpost of the Italian state, guests are invited to enjoy a current series of lectures, from handpicked academic experts, on the great social and political issues of the day, with the ambassador in attendance. The previous week, the audience was treated to a discussion of the energy transition, and next week the theme was to be Justice.

All this makes it so regretable that the building’s romanesque facade, with elegant white columns and heavy wooden door, seems to have been soaked in paint by some vandal[s] clearly without the capacity to appreciate such things.

Maybe it was some disbeliever[s] in capitalism’s ‘sustainable’ future? Unhelpful people looking to provoke, always making trouble for sensible plans.

It would be a particular shame if the act casts a shadow on next week’s lecture. A gathering of cultured and cosmopolitan persons to hear about such a delicate subject as Justice surely calls for a glass of Italian wine and a canape consumed in peaceful contemplation.

Could it be that the irresponsible[s] wanted to pour scorn on the Italian State for its massacres in the prisons during the 2020 lockdown? Or for its dependable and bloody role in securing the border of europe against the pressure of irregular migration?

But another troubling interpretation remains. After all, Alfredo Cospito, whose struggle by hunger strike against the notorious isolation regime of 41bis is in its last critical stages, had yet another appeal rejected later that same day, by the wise members of the Italian judiciary.

This struggle, having stirred a whirlwind of action sweeping beyond the walls of the prison, even accross national boundaries, is becoming so severe that it is SUPPOSED to have increased the security around diplomatic buildings of the Italian State internationally for some time now.

Whatever the truth, we can be sure that the impulses behind such an act can only contribute to the general atmosphere of indignation and lack of dialogue with power that Alfredo Cospito’s struggle, against the terms of life and death set by authority, seems to have enflamed everywhere.

Municipal police targeted in Thouars

Courrier de l’ouest/La Nlle République (newspaper), 10 octobre 2022

It was 6.30am, this 10 october monday, in Thouars city hall backyard (department Deux Sèvres), when a maintenance worker heard crackin noises. And noticed someone escaping. In the night, he saw flames devouring a vehicle. Firepeople quickly intervene : 31 firepeople are engaged and a fire hose is used. The calcined corpse is the one of the second intervention vehicle from municipal police.

This monday morning, the staff of the town hall is appalled. Firepeople limited the spread of flames to the wood parts of a reprography office, located in an annex building of Thouars town hall. A computer has also been damaged and the office will be unusable for some times. Upper floor windows, which is the temporary local of the municipal police, are also heavily damaged. Athens, Greece: Responsibility claim for the attack at the metro station Syngrou/Fix

Posted on 2022/10/15 by darknights

In recent times we have seen the intensification of state repression which no doubt aims at the abolition of previous social and class gains. This intensification can be reflected in the violent repression of workers’ strikes, in the entry of police forces into universities, and in the expansion of the attack and repression on any form of social and class resistance (from the repeated police attacks on marches and gatherings to the recent attack on a concert in a university in Thessaloniki*). Amongst the above, another of the main peaks of this attack is taking place in Exarcheia, under the pretext of the metro stop and the redevelopment of the Strefi Hill, the state has launched an unprecedented attack in its attempt to change the political and social correlations within the neighbourhood. The constant presence of MAT riot police and the OPKE (armed SWAT style cop unit) playing the role of an occupying army in order to further territorialise the totalitarian doctrine of order and security within the neighbourhood is the most striking sign of this new strategy and the new reality that the state wants to impose.

However, what is happening in Exarcheia also has a very specific economic and class dimension, since both the metro stop and the redevelopment of the hill of Strefi are included within the more general plans of capital and the state for the reconfiguration of the urban fabric through the processes of redevelopment and gentrification, which have the sole purpose of creating new fields of profitability on the backs of the working class. The airbnb, alternative bars etc. that are popping up one after the other, in combination with the metro and the redevelopment of the Strefi and the army of occupation that is trying to suppress any form of resistance create the necessary conditions for the methodical transformation of the neighbourhood into a politically sterile alternative centre of consumption. Haute Vallée de l’Aude : Mobile network breakdown caused by vandalism act

L’indépendant
, 23 septembre 2022 (extract)

Since 9:30am, this 23rd september friday, many Haute Vallée households, especially in Quillan and Espéraza, are deprived of mobile and internet network. Reached, Orange operator specify that the breakdown has a vandalism act made on a optical fiber cable in the commune of Quillan for cause.

Apart from individuals, professionnals have also been touched by this breakdown : Bank paying terminals could not work in several shops.

(And, as the newspaper doesn’t precise to not give bad ideas, contrarily to the “Orange/Occitanie local loop intervention team responsible” who has published on twitter the linked photo. It’s along the TER (regional train) railway, after a swale was lifted, that a section of this cable was voluntarily cut.)

Hamilton, Canada: RBC Branches Attacked For Funding Pipeline

Posted on 2022/04/12 by darknights

Anonymous submission to North Shore

This week across southern ontario and quebec, we’ve lost count on how many RBC branches were targeted (we estimate 10+) for disruption and attack. So-called toronto, hamilton, montreal… friends in places as small as orillia and as distant as nanaimo. These actions respond to a need to target investors in the Coastal Gaslink pipeline project – which is currently behind schedule thanks to the direct attack that took place in february as well as the successful campaigns to block the project thus far lead by Gidimt’en Clan – but is still rapidly being constructed on unceded Wet’suwet’en territory.

RBC is one of its largest financial backers, and in the past week and preceding months, has been the subject of pressure tactics ranging from direct action interfering with bank branches, to pushing elites/clients to pull their money out of RBC accounts, to organizing to disrupt RBC’s Annual General Meeting in Toronto. The message is clear: the Royal Bank of Canada needs to divest from CGL immediately.

In hamilton, where we’re writing from, bank branches were vandalized, had their locks glued, and ATMs damaged. We chose these methods to directly interfere with the operations of the bank, hurt them financially and in their public image, and to contribute to the spread of easily-replicable, anonymous actions.

RBC was the central target this week, but they are not alone in complicity. We can also set our sights on other big banks, TC Energy, many related contractors and developers, the RCMP, and the State of so-called Canada.

This is only going to escalate. CGL, and their financial allies like RBC, perpetuate the situation by continuing their exploitative projects and violent attacks on Wet’suwet’en territory. The Wedzin Kwa remains under the looming threat of being destroyed via drill. Elders, matriarchs, supporters, comrades, and land defenders face daily assault. We all need to prepare for more, to respond with more boldness, to do more damage. If they push, then we then will push back, but harder. With only a bit of planning and courage, we can act in ways that feed our spirits and keep the fight alive. Stay safe, and we look forward to seeing your work out there in the days to come.

Berlin, Germany: ATMs damaged on Black Friday

Posted on 2021/12/03 by darknights

We vandalized 9 ATMs in a rich people’s mall the night before the so-called “Black Friday” because we hate their consumerist shit fest.

To do this, we just used some super glue and gift cards and shoved them in the slot. You can do that without attracting much attention. So it’s a very low level action to have fun. We invite you all to try it too, there are not only ATMs that have a card slot.

In this season of evictions, the Toulouse night of this Monday, was seen even more starry after the blow of hammer breaker carried on that of a bailiff’s office, and of a real estate agency which lacks pot, being next to it.
