Limoges, France: ‘War is not an accident’ Fire at a transformer and a radio repeater in protest against the military-industrial complex and digital coercion

Posted on 2026/06/24 - 2026/06/24 by darknights

7th May

Early Thursday morning, May 7, a relay antenna belonging to the operator Bouygues and a TDF transformer for digital radio broadcasting BFM caught fire south of Limoges, at a place known as “La Croix de l’Arbre.”

This media and telecommunications infrastructure was targeted because it is integral to the military industry and the imposition of digital technology throughout our lives.

For Bouygues, ongoing wars are just another source of profit. Through one of its subsidiaries, INEO Defense, it provides the French army’s communications infrastructure. As for BFM and RMC, their networks help turn us into spectators of the massacres in Palestine, Lebanon, and elsewhere.

War begins with social pacification and our acceptance of the hegemonic narrative disseminated by the media. We won’t dwell on BFM, which is well known for being one of the reactionary mouthpieces for industrial interests. Their narratives also accustom us to our powerlessness and define for us the enemy to be fought, whether internal or external. The war effort we reject is the one that seeks to make us accept social austerity as inevitable.

Yet the plundering and militarization of the world continue to face resistance. As demonstrated by the millions of people who took to the streets in support of Palestine and by all the acts of solidarity. Digital technology is being targeted as one of the pillars in the development of AI-driven remote control in military operations, as Israel is using it on a massive scale against the Palestinian people.

Furthermore, military exercises will be taking place in the region in the coming days. Let us not forget that when the military deploys, it is never merely an exercise but always an operation of psychological warfare designed to acclimate people to their presence and make them accept a state of permanent war.

Let us not remain indifferent.

Ariane Gransac is dead: a life that was intense, rebellious and anarchist

Posted on 2026/05/17 - 2026/05/17 by darknights

Written by Tomás Ibáñez. Via KSL.

Ariane Gransac passed away in Perpignan on Sunday 5 April 2026, at the age of 84: her funeral is to take place at Perpignan crematorium on 15 April.

Rather than succumb to sadness at her leaving, I would prefer to remember her joie de vivre back when I first met her some sixty years ago around 1966, following her brave participation in the unforgettable abduction in Rome of Franco’s ambassador to the Vatican.

Ariane was the daughter of a top manager in the perfume industry and could easily have settled for the privileges offered by financial comfort, but that did not sit well with her rebellious temperament. She quickly began hanging out in anarchist circles in Paris, becoming a member of the French Anarchist Federation’s Emile-Henry Group and, being an amateur painter, she frequented cultural circles with libertarian leanings. Germany: Switch off the Mitsotakis regime!

Posted on 2026/03/20 - 2026/03/20 by darknights

Mitsotakis is the Prime Minister of Greece and, along with his party, New Democracy, bears responsibility for the authoritarian  transformation of this southeastern pillar of the EU and NATO.

Greece is on the front lines of the war on migration (Pylos massacre, 1), tramples over corpses as a pioneer of neoliberalism and corruption (Tempi train “accident,” 2), has an impressive track record of police killings (3) and also deserves to be held accountable for the imprisonment of comrades in the Ambelokipi case.

Impairing this regime’s ability to act can save many lives. The personnel who, on behalf of the Greek government, commit numerous murders, acts of torture, arrests, and pushbacks, require a constant supply of substantial financial resources and social legitimacy. These resources must be targeted.

The police cooperation agreement reached in December shows the direction New Democracy is heading. The following quote is not satire:

“Citizen Protection Minister Michalis Chryssochoidis and China’s Public Security Minister Wang Xiaohong signed a police cooperation agreement Tuesday in Athens, strengthening ties between the two countries on key security issues. According to a ministry statement, the agreement focuses on combating organized and financial crimes, drug trafficking and managing illegal migration. It also includes provisions for information sharing, technical expertise and officer training to enhance operational capabilities.
Chryssochoidis proposed forming a coordinating committee to prioritize actions against organized crime, aiming to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of both countries’ police services.

The meeting at the Greek ministry was attended by senior officials from China’s Public Security Ministry, China’s ambassador to Greece, the head of the Hellenic Police, and high-ranking Greek police officials, as well as the minister’s diplomatic advisor.
Both sides reaffirmed strong cooperation between Greece and China, emphasizing their shared commitment to addressing common security challenges and promoting social stability.“

(from the regime-controlled media: https://www.ekathimerini.com/politics/foreign-policy/1255251/greece-and-china-sign-police-collaboration-agreement/)

What “social stability” in the Chinese model means for Mitsotakis is evident in the increasing permanent surveillance of several city districts by drones and the crackdown on universities, where any opposition is to be stifled in order to make them compliant as think tanks of the old elites. In drone development, Greek universities are collaborating with ELTA Systems of Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), despite student resistance.(4) Continue reading “Germany: Switch off the Mitsotakis regime!” →

Arson attack on equipment at the Artificial Intelligence Campus construction site at the Equinix data center (Meudon, France, November 23, 2025)

Posted on 2026/02/18 by darknights

During the night between Friday, November 22nd and Saturday, November 23rd, incendiary devices were planted in equipment at the Artificial Intelligence Campus construction site, adjacent to the existing Equinix data center. The construction site is located in the Vélizy-Meudon industrial zone, across from the construction site of the new Thales complex. Equinix customers include Thales, Dassault, Bouygues, Amazon, and many other companies operating in this neighborhood.

These companies are all part of the military-industrial complex that supplies weapons to Israel and is responsible for the genocide of the Palestinians. They all profit from colonial genocide, mass surveillance, and border control. The technologies they develop are tested on the Palestinian population and then sold to countries around the world at trade fairs such as Milipol, held in France from November 18th to 21st. Artificial intelligence is a key element of these technologies, which Israel uses to monitor and carry out genocide against the populations of Gaza and the West Bank. In addition to participating in colonial massacres internationally, France is militarizing its borders and strengthening surveillance and repression in colonized territories and neighborhoods. To try to put an end to all this, we have chosen the path of fire and sabotage.

We attack in solidarity with Palestinian prisoners, whose fate the State of Israel seeks to exacerbate by legalizing executions, which are already the norm in its prisons.

We attack in solidarity with the “Prisoners for Palestine,” currently on hunger strike in British prisons for attacking the factories of the Israeli arms manufacturer Elbit.[Hungerstrike ended at time of publication]

We attack in homage to the anarchist Kyriakos Xymitiris and in solidarity with the imprisoned anarchists Marianna and Dimitra, as well as the other prisoners in the Ampelokipoi case. The flame of struggle will never be extinguished.

We attack in solidarity with those crossing borders and in homage to those who have lost their lives there.

We attack in homage to all those who have died in prison and for the freedom of all prisoners.

Paris, France: Fire involving a crane at the Baudrière construction site in Montreuil

Posted on 2025/10/26 by darknights

It was in lower Montreuil, in a seemingly quiet neighborhood, that an inexplicable and unexpected tragedy occurred during the night of Wednesday, October 22 to Thursday, October 23. Passersby noticed a sudden glow: the cab of a crane was on fire, causing chaos and widespread panic.

The firefighters were slow to arrive. This gave the fire time to cause considerable, irreversible, and unspeakable damage. Although relatively invisible from the street except for the blackened windows of the cabin, the significant impact of this fire was revealed to us by a source close to the investigation. The cabin, burned out from the inside, is now completely unusable.

The vehicle in question was located on the Imava construction site at 65 bis rue Voltaire, the real estate developer that evicted the squat known as La Baudrière in August 2022. This construction site is currently at a standstill.

Shortly afterwards, we received a text containing an interview with an expert on the event in question. Will it shed light on this very dark affair? We sincerely hope so.

Barraux (Isère), France: A glimmer of hope under the hood for the Lyon-Turin project

Posted on 2025/10/26 by darknights

We claim responsibility for:
One autumn night, a fire, three construction vehicles burned at the Barreaux quarry in Isère.
Owned by Vicat Béton, beneficiary and accomplice in the devastation caused by the construction of the second Lyon-Turin railway line.

The targets:
– 1 sifter, sorting the aggregates extracted from the quarry by size
– 2 bulldozers, moving rubble and leveling the ground

If you still believe that destroying our territories for this project is a good idea, you have been misinformed.
If you think that the 3 vehicles we burned will be enough to slow down the construction site, you are mistaken.
We will have to attack from all sides to shake TELT. They are the vandals.

Quarries are poorly monitored and are an essential link in the construction process. Slowing down the supply means slowing down the construction site.

Let’s light the fire under the hood. The flame spreads quickly.

“Our society of “IF… GO TO” – squared, codified, aligned, controlled – this society where we connect like trains in a rail yard, desperately hoping to reduce chance and cancel the revolt, where those in power consider themselves the indispensable designer or analyst, where the binary and the quantitative are supposed to solve the crisis, this society in which we live is unbearable and inhuman”

Machine in Flames: a documentary tracing the 1980’s computer-bombers

Posted on 2025/04/28 by darknights

Machines in Flames (2022, 50min) finds a secret history of destruction by following the footsteps of a clandestine group of French computer workers from the 1980s.

In 1980s Toulouse, an elusive group began bombing computer companies. ‘CLODO’ disappeared after three years, without ever being caught or ever to be heard of again. Two film makers launch an investigation into CLODO, looking for answers, motivations and identities, but are soon frustrated by a collective that struck in the dead of night, leaving in their tracks only ashes and the sporadic line of cryptic graffiti. The film combines archival traces, a viral desktop choreography, and late-night video recordings of CLODO’s targets into a meditation on computation, destruction, and the lure of archives.

France: About the coordinated attack on the prisons over the last two nights

Posted on 2025/04/25 by darknights
Armored guardhouse at the entrance to Toulon-La Farlède prison, Monday night, April 15, 2025.

The nights of Sunday to Monday, April 14 and Monday to Tuesday, April 15, were marked by attacks on several penitentiary structures and their minions, in a dozen towns in the south of France and on the outskirts of Paris. Prison staff cars parked in parking lots (Réau, Valence, Villepinte, Aix-Luynes, Nîmes), alongside the national prison school (Agen) or in front of their staff quarters (Marseille, Nanterre) went up in smoke. In addition, the entrance to a prison was machine-gunned (Toulon-La Farlède), and the gate to an ERIS base was set on fire (Aix-Luynes).

This “coordinated attack” over two consecutive nights led the National Anti-Terrorist Prosecutor’s Office (PNAT) to take charge of the investigation, which was then entrusted to the Anti-Terrorist Sub-Directorate of the Judicial Police, local services and the Directorate General of Internal Security (DGSI). The investigation includes “three charges, including terrorist criminal association”, explained the Minister of Justice today, because “the very nature of the action” reflects a “concerted operation aimed at seriously disturbing public order through intimidation”. As for the prison guards, they are naturally disgusted, as Damien Tripenne, national secretary of the CGT penitentiary union, declared on a major radio station: “I have comrades, colleagues, who are bruised because it’s their vehicles that have been targeted, it’s their homes that have been targeted… fear is going to have to change sides” (RTL, 15/4).

In addition, the Ministry of the Interior’s spokespersons pointed out that in several places the tag “DDPF” (interpreted by the journalists as the acronym for “rights [or rather defense] of French prisoners”, named after a Telegram channel) was found, as well as “anarchist slogans”. This led them to put forward both “ultra-left groups” and “drug trafficking” in their chatter. A well-known “source close to the case” told a state news agency that “according to the initial elements of the investigation, the anarchist trail seems to be gaining ground in the vast majority of cases” (AFP, 15/4, 15h50).
Whatever the case, their hypothesis is that these attacks are linked to the struggle of some and others against the construction of vast high-security wards, i.e. veritable tombs where hundreds of prisoners will be buried alive from this summer onwards… and more generally against the toughening of prison conditions (reduced walks and activities, beatings and humiliations by guards…) encouraged by Darmanin’s arrival at the Ministry of Justice.

Here, then, is a first glimpse of this series of nocturnal attacks on the prison administration and the property of its minor personnel:

Agen (Lot-et-Garonne), Sunday April 13, 11:30 pm: fire in eight cars belonging to ENAP student-guards.
  • Agen (Lot-et-Garonne). At around 11:30 pm on Sunday April 13, unknown assailants drove up to the premises of the “École nationale d’administration pénitentiaire” (Enap) and set fire to the cars of prison guards in training. Six of them were completely destroyed by the flames, two others were damaged, and 1,000 student-guards were evacuated in the middle of the night to allow the fire department to intervene. A “DDPF” tag was found on the floor.
  • Réau (Seine-et-Marne). On the same night, Sunday to Monday, April 14, a female guard’s vehicle was set on fire in the prison parking lot, and traces of hydrocarbons were found on three other guard vehicles, which had not caught fire.
