Barcelona, Catalonia: Responsibility claim for the incendiary attack on an Indra vehicle – EN/ES

Last Tuesday 25, at dawn, we attacked with our favorite materials: gasoline and fire, a van of the Indra company near the Vallcarca neighborhood. Indra, an arms manufacturer, constitutes the technical part of the development of the geopolitical and economic interests of states. Numerous contracts with the Ministry of Defense in Spain demonstrate their participation in military weapons projects, aside from being the company who controls 80% of the Sociedad Española de Misiles, the Spanish subsidiary of the main European missile manufacturer. Today, the military industry has adopted a new image that moves away from that of the military giving a coup to present another, the friendliest and smiling professional mercenaries who together with their suppliers respond to a social demand for security. When excuses such as terrorism are not enough to justify the augment of militarization, then the other great concerns of society become the necessary pretext for the military descent in the Metropolis. Thus, events such as the recent creation of the “Bibby Stockholm” prison-barge in the United Kingdom destined to continue repression towards migrants is not a coincidence.

The military complex finally ends up accompanying society in its decline with its gentle image, its technological surveillance systems and its sense of security for the citizenship, seeking to establish the deathly peace of the bosses and the legal owners with the support of the silent majority.

Given all this, we are left with the decision that our battlefield is that of denial and disobedience.
Through this action we would like to spread the fire in these conditions of continuous war against each symbol and face of the authoritarian society in which we have decided to fight.
We send our warm greetings to the companions Monica and Francisco, who are now facing a trial that will last months. The complicit words of fellow Francisco fill us with strength to continue exploring the paths of the anarchic conflict here and now.
Greetings also for Alfredo Cospito who is recovering after 6 months on hunger strike.

El pasado martes 25, de madrugada, atacamos con nuestros materiales favoritos: gasolina y fuego, una furgoneta de la empresa Indra cerca del barrio de Vallcarca.
Indra, empresa fabricante armamentista constituye la parte técnica del desarollo de los intereses geopolíticos y económicos de los estados.

Cuando excusas como el terrorismo no son suficientes para justificar el augmento de la militarización, entonces las otras grandes preocupaciones de la sociedad se vuelven el pretexto necesario para el descenso militar en la metropolis. Asi pues, sucesos como la reciente creación del barco-prisión “Bibby Stockholm” en el Reino Unido destinado a continuar y augmentar la represión hacia las personas migrantes no es una casualidad.
El complejo militar pues, finalmente acaba acompañando a la sociedad en su decadencia con su gentil imagen, sus sistemas tecnologicos de vigilancia y su sentido de seguridad por parte de la ciudadania, buscando establecer la mortal paz de los jefes y los legales propietarios con el apoyo de las silenciosas mayorias.
Ante todo esto nosotrxs nos quedamos con aquellxs que deciden que su campo de batalla es el de la negación y la desobediencia.
Mediante esta acción nos gustaria esparcir el fuego en estas condiciones de guerra contínua contra cada símbolo y cara de la sociedad autoritaria en la que nosotrxs hemos decidido luchar.

The firm has constructed a secret partisan terror army on Kiev’s behalf, and helped plan the Kerch Bridge bombing by Ukraine’s services.

My journey into clandestinity began 7 years ago today. It was July 10, 2016, the sun was heating up the city and for most of the people I met that day it was just another Sunday. For me, that day was both an end and a beginning. Giving up my old and beloved reality of life, replaced by the great unknown variable. Leaving the old behind me, welcoming the new. A painful and overwhelming start of the journey… From then on I was confronted with the unknown every day, resembling a person who has lost their sight from one day to the next and now has to focus on their other senses. I wandered around, looking for anchor points, and after long months, with patience and persistence, finally regained my bearings. My life was back on track, or so I thought… What had to come was coming. The next big shock hit me and once again life held its instruction manual in front of my nose; leave the old behind, welcome the new. Clandestinity is a rigorous study full of hardships, but the fruits of it will be a lifetime harvest for me.

A year ago, I stood again in this clearing to call out to you. To let you know that I am well. To let you know that I sincerely love you and carry you in my heart day after day. Today, one year later and 7 years after the beginning of the journey, I am somewhere else, as I will be tomorrow. But the bond between us remains. I had to leave you behind physically. But spiritually and emotionally you have been my silent companionship for 7 years. Thanks to you I always find the strength and courage to welcome new things into my life. The group “Conspiracy Vengeance” claimed responsibility for a grenade attack upon a prison officer’s car in Haidari at dawn last Saturday (8/7).

In the current days it is obvious that the right-wing government has as its primary goal a junta mentality for the benefit of the few and against the many marginalized social groups. The regime of police democracy is growing, the repressive mechanisms are getting stronger and stronger. Cops shoot and kill without any consequence, cops invade universities. The slightest dissenting opinion is immediately attacked and silenced by the state of difference and decadence. In these circumstances, this whole repressive mentality has also passed inside the walls. Any form of protest and assertion of the self-evident needs of the prisoners finds “walls raised” and is immediately attacked by the scum and their courtiers who run the prisons. The prison guard in question, Dionysis Tsirgiotis, the chief prison guard at the Korydallos prison, is at the forefront of all events in every way against the prisoners. He is at the forefront of the investigations carried out by the prison guards in the cells of the prisoners. His words, his manner and the line he has drawn in the prison are clearly against all prisoners, preventing them from having a smooth coexistence under confinement. This particular prison guard aims to make life difficult for the prisoners and to climb by any means and through any means to the highest levels of power within the walls. This text, since it publication, has inspired many anarchists in their projects, proposals and practice, but it is with no sense of nostalgia that we have reprinted this booklet, rather because we realize that its central questions and critiques are more relevant than ever: how to identify the enemies of freedom, those in the ivory towers, those on the streets, those within our struggles?

“Published in May 1998 by NN editions, a publisher started only seven months earlier by some anarchists who had participated in the weekly newspaper Canenero, this booklet, has been translated into Spanish, Portuguese, English, French, Dutch, German. Since then, it has nourished reflections, offered suggestions, strengthened tensions, raised doubts, as well as provoking much irritation (the concept of ‘the existent’ in particular, in its bursting totality, has proven rather indigestible for those who aspire to administer the State in any way). In its small way, At Daggers Drawn has contributed to the spread of an autonomous, insurrectional anarchist perspective. At daggers drawn: an expression that can be traced back to a variety of historical anecdotes, commonly defining a very specific moment of a violent conflict – the crudest, in the greatest physical proximity and the closest to its end. For those choosing to not look away, nor accept, nor reproduce the miserable and tragic existent that authority imposes, conflict seems inevitable.

As power, its promises, its progress, its blackmails, keep scaring and seducing even those who speak of freedom from authority, we are still faced with the same frustration. We find, over and over, and closer and closer, anarchists making choices based on logics of convenience, efficiency, political strategy and the spotlights of the spectacle, rather than defending, no matter what, anti-authoritarian ethics. So yes, conflict also against the false critics, those who talk about freedom, but when “necessary” throw away our ideas and practices for the sake of favourable alliances, popular acceptance and a chance at a by-all-means-necessary “victory”.

So what these pages declare is permanent conflict: anti-authoritarian ethics are under permanent attack, from all sides, and if those who carry them in their hearts do not defend them, even when it’s exhausting, uncomfortable and inconvenient, their existence in space and time and memory will be relinquished to where authority wants them…

Months go by without much novelty, inserted in this redoubt of the underworld, which silences and hides. It is difficult to understand that your mobility is guarded and limited at every moment. It is easy to nourish myself with hate. If my eyes see daily officials, abuses, bars and uniforms in this implanted and repugnant routine, which overwhelms and suffocates.

But that does not paralyze or torment. Neither their punishments nor their decorated uniforms make me doubt my ideas and position in the face of this system of domination. In this process I have had the good fortune to live and experience political imprisonment with various comrades. Supporting each other, but we will not always be together, nor close, nor prisoners. Anti-prison solidarity has brought us together.

Captivity can suffocate, exhaust, but never defeat me… this prison process has reaffirmed how little I believe in. A joyful disappointment in those I once called brothers and sisters… today there are few I still love.

Any kind of pretensions I always wanted them aside, protagonists towards their spectacles. I am just a stealthy anarchist, brother to my siblings, and an avowed enemy of this or any state. Mezzovico, Switzerland: ‘Swiss neutrality does not exist.’ Incendiary attack on ten civil defense vehicles and three army vehicles (June 18, 2023)

Swiss neutrality does not exist

Switzerland, which regards itself as neutral so it can maintain its privileged role as the world’s financial hub, actually bears a lot of responsibility for many wars around the world. The Swiss arms industry exports weapons everywhere, even to countries where there are armed conflicts. Lately it has even relocated some manufacturing facilities abroad so as to circumvent laws that would “ban” arms exports to countries at war, for example to Ukraine, aligning itself fully with NATO’s warmongering interventionist rhetoric.

Switzerland’s role as a financial marketplace and leading commodity trader makes this state a major player in the devastation of the planet and the plundering of the resources of countries in the global south, fueling conflicts and forcing people to leave their countries of origin. Not content with sowing misery all over the world, it prides itself with “defending” its borders against the migration “threat,” with its military guarding the borders and civil defense soldiers running deportation centers.

Campaigns against compulsory conscription in Switzerland have been pacified by the introduction of civil protection and civil service. We believe that anarchist antimilitarism should not be limited to the rejection of the military or even to total desertion from every obligation this state imposes on us but should turn into attack.

For this reason, in the night from the 17th to the 18th June, in Mezzovico, Ticino, we have set fire to ten vehicles of the civil protection, which were totally destroyed and three military vehicles, which regrettably only partially burned.

We state with strength of our ideas and actions our solidarity with all anarchists taken hostage by the state and take this opportunity to greet those on the hidden paths of freedom. Those who struggle will never be alone.

Swiss neutrality does not exist. Where there is capitalism, there is war.

Athens, Greece: Responsibility claim for the incendiary attack at the EFKA Zografou

We take responsibility for the attack with an incendiary device with gas canisters at the EFKA building in Zografou which resulted in damage to a state vehicle of EFKA as well as to the building.

We would like to start by emphasizing that we do not intend this text to speak more than our action. An attack on the state, on an institution we think speaks for itself. Let these few words be a necessary companion and political defence of the flame of our attack.

We have chosen this target as it is a state institution created by the former Minister of Labour Hatzidakis and now under the authority of this ministry, and responsible for pensions, insurances and labour insurance. In other words, everything that constitutes modern capitalist Christianity. To put it more simply. I have worked for 40 years hoping for a pension to ”live my life” as it comes, and if, and with as much money as the government of the day decides. We even know that this particular body has deliberately delayed the payment of thousands of pensions. But we are not here to beg the state to give the pensions to the ‘poor people’ who have made sure that they have re-elected their oppressors forcefully. We are here to remind the state that any attack on the lower economic strata will involve an attack on it.

The people have spoken at the polls and even as anarchists let us accept that. The majority wants democracy and oppression. But let us be proud of this minority that continues to deny power and attack its institutions. Revolutions and uprisings have come from both powerful majorities and fiery minorities. COURAGE. The struggle continues and will end only in the ashes of the power complex and only with our victory.

The action took place on the day of the victory of the hunger strike of comrade Giannis Michailidis and during the period of 2 political trials, the 4 comrades in custody accused of the attack on the traffic police of Piraeus and the 2 comrades and 1 comrade accused of participation in the Anarchist Action organization. We send our solidarity and wishes for a speedy recovery to comrade G.M. and all the imprisoned comrades and we wish them a speedy return to the paths of freedom. We do not forget the prisoners of war and always keep a special place for them in our burning hearts.
