We share this virtual editorial project that emphasizes on anarchic texts of egoistic and individualistic tendency. We seek to dust off those sharp words of those anarchic individualities somewhat “unknown” and “buried” by Christian and social anarchism; encouraging the material destruction of the world that limits the life of individualistic, nihilistic, iconoclastic anarchists; including the annihilation of the various ideological ghosts that subdue the untamed spirits.

We encourage anarchic individualities to continue with their creative/destructive projects against Society.

This project includes compilation, translation and editing of old and new texts. For the moment all the material is in Spanish, soon we will add English editions. On our website (//vorticeeditorial.wordpress.com) we share without compromise two texts by Renzo Novatore – The Song of Eternity and Visions of a Child of Zarathustra – and an essay by Laurance Labadie – Reflections on Freedom.

Santiago, $hile: Jornada conmemorativa a 23 de la muerte de la compañera Claudia López ES/EN

Posted on 2021/08/29 - 2021/08/29 by darknights

USA: Looking Critically at the Brooklyn Center Riot – An Interview from Anathema

Posted on 2021/08/24 - 2021/08/24 by darknights

Originally published in Anathema, an anarchist publication from Philadelphia, the following interview talks about the realities of the Brooklyn Center riot that kicked off in the wake of the police murder of Daunte Wright in the spring of 2021.

This interview was conducted two months ago, which was already two months after the events this spring in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. The riot in Brooklyn Center took place in the context of the Derek Chauvin trial, almost a year after he murdered George Floyd. This interview was an attempt to reflect on one participant’s experience of the events in Brooklyn Center and consider what they tell us about how things might unfold in the future. For many of us, the George Floyd uprising has weighed heavily on our minds as we try to imagine next steps to take. What became clear to me in this interview was that between the George Floyd uprising and the Brooklyn Center riot — despite the direct influence and geographic proximity — was an expanse.

Although the Brooklyn Center riot was an outgrowth of the George Floyd uprising, it was also a reminder that the previous summer’s events would not be repeated. Now, after a relatively quiet summer, it seems all the more important to be looking toward the future rather than fixating our gaze on last summer’s uprising. In this interview, we explore some of the developments and unique characteristics of uprisings in the aftermath of the George Floyd uprising.

You were in Brooklyn Center in April. Can you describe what happened?

Yes, there was a police murder: Daunte Wright, 20 years old. He was basically trying to flee the scene where he got stopped. There was two nights of rioting — I am going to say rioting. Some people want to say “it’s not a riot, it’s a rebellion.” I am just going to say it was a riot.

People were throwing stuff at the cops. There was looting by car in the Brooklyn Center area, also in Minneapolis and surrounding suburbs. The first night the neighboring police station got shot up; someone shot the front doors of it. Someone else shot at a cop — maybe 3 days after it started.

All throughout people were calling for the burning down of the police precinct (that was the focal point of the riot). They never succeeded. People tried. The police set up a gate. It was similar to what happened in Portland at the courthouse. But they didn’t actually breach the gate.

After the first two days of looting, arson, street fighting, and property destruction, there was basically a week of confrontational protests in front of the police precinct. Continue reading “USA: Looking Critically at the Brooklyn Center Riot – An Interview from Anathema” →

Berlin, Germany: Arson Attack on Vonovia

Posted on 2021/08/24 by darknights

In the night from 03.08.2021 to 04.08.2021, we torched Vonovia company cars in Berlin Mitte and in Lichtenberg.

Not much more needs to be said about Vonovia. They are real estate sharks and big capitalists worth billions. They are currently planning to take over Deutsche Wohnen for the third time. In capitalism, there are many responsible companies and individuals who ensure its continued existence through their existence. Vonovia, like many others, is certainly one of them.

But this arson is not a revenge action against their company policy.

It is meant to be a flaming call to do even more damage to property against the city of the rich and to fight for a society without hierarchies and authorities. In order to leave the age of exploitation and oppression behind us, the existing social tensions must be brought to escalation. The prerequisite for this is the symbiosis of theory and practice. We decide what, when is important for us, so attacks on the symbols and leaders of capitalism, among other things, can happen in the spotlight of the media or in the dark of the night. This time we have chosen the night. From an objective point of view, it is always to the advantage of politics and law enforcers if the subversives are accountable by acting in a temporally and spatially limited way. Subversion can be lived out, but only if it is not dictated by the guardians of the existing. This can also mean taking advantage of a demonstration to launch targeted attacks in order to eventually get into a confrontation with the cops, or instead of forcing a positional war against evictions, to occupy other houses. It would be fatal if the repression, the actions and the way of thinking of the authorities, would inhibit our insurgent ideas. We would become dependent on them and always react instead of deciding for ourselves what, when and how to attack or build.

This time it was a few cars, who knows what tomorrow will bring. Arson is only one of many tools that gives expression to destructive tendencies. It is up to us.

London, UK : 2011 – 2021 ,10 years since the murder by cops of Mark Duggan

Posted on 2021/08/06 - 2021/08/06 by darknights

UK – The struggle against the existent continues

Thursday, August 4, 2011 Mark Duggan, a ‘real straight up and down respected man’ (words of London rapper, Chipmunk) from Tottenham in London, was blasted to death while on his way home in a cab by a mob of cops wielding Heckler & Koch MP5 carbines. 29 year old Mark, father of four young children, lived on the housing estate known as Broadwater Farm, a depressed predominantly Afro-Caribbean area. The area is infamous since the riot of 1985 after 49 year old Cynthia Jarrett collapsed and died of a heart attack as police raided her home. (During the riot a policeman, PC Blakelock, was hacked to death with a machete.) Today, in the words of a resident, ‘if you’re from Broadwater Farm, police are on you every day, you’re not allowed to come off the estate. If you come off the estate they follow you.’ They followed Mark Duggan and he ended up dead.

August 6 – The arrogance of the killers in uniform in the face of the protest by the victim’s family and supporters, plus the brutal attack on a 16 year old girl by police during the vigil was the last straw.

That night in Tottenham the police station was attacked, police cars set on fire, a double-decker bus ends up a twisted wreck after being engulfed in flames, press photographers are beaten and relieved of their equipment for the decades of lies they have propagated. Bank windows smashed. Countless shops looted, stuff thrown all over the streets. Young guys storm McDonald’s and start frying up burgers and chips. Indignant anger clears the brain, flushes out the cops in the head. Collective fury at this latest police murder combines with the daily bullying and humiliation of being stopped and searched, the moralising, the false promises, useless lives, no future, desire for status-affirming ‘needs’ unattainable due to increased taxes, unemployment and cutting of benefits, 4 million cameras, glaring security cops at the entrance to every store, the colonization of all remaining urban space by trendy bars filled with the noisy chatter of the carefree… that and much more that we don’t know and will never experience welled up and fueled the will to smash through the invisible and plate glass barriers that hold everything in place.

The hostages of the open prison, the young people of the ghettos of London, rise up and the capitalists’ nightmare finally materialises, as the last link in the consumer chain of submission snaps. It explodes into a free-for-all when, in a flash of illumination the solution to the existential dilemma is found: MUST HAVE/CAN’T HAVE = TAKE. It’s simple: learn and apply, possibly burning store to ashes on retreating.

The rioting escalates, scores more people come into the area responding to call outs on twitter to come up and fight the cops and loot shops. Over the following days it spreads to many other parts of London and onward towards other cities.

The rage also spreads beyond the main clashes in Nottingham, Manchester, Bristol, Gloucester, Liverpool, Birmingham. In many incidents the stories escape categorisation or quantification. One thing sure that is not reported and deliberately ignored is the chiefly anti-authoritarian flavour to the uprising, the government and corporations relentlessly branding the people ‘scum’, ‘thieves’ and other low simple catchphrases of demonisation. The failure in this to stop young people identifying with the uprising is obvious when it is seen how quickly the riots replicate and need little trigger to begin breaking the Queen’s peace. Mainstream media reporting becomes incredibly formulaic, and the bosses make mileage from their scenes of interest in reaching their political objectives, looping the same images over and over, overlaid with the stereotypical talking heads’ condemnation and reassurance.

The widespread disorder does not stop. The people who lost their fear go outside, collect themselves to attack and take as much as they can.

also read : Dark Matter Publications ‘August 2011 Revolt: Anarchy in the UK’ contains a rough chronology of events during the rebellion, and action communiques during the period from anarchist groups aiming to deepen and extend the conflict, as well as a couple of essays written after the main events analysing the nature of the revolt and prospects for the future.

Biblioteca Anarchica Disordine

Posted on 2021/08/03 - 2021/08/03 by darknights

Library, because there will be located
volumes of the international anarchist movement
movement and of movements of
movements in general, as well as texts of
literature or non-fiction that give
other look. In the volumes torn
from the dust it is still possible
to find the germs of an idea that makes hearts beat
hearts beat and a stimulus to the
desire to subvert the world.

Anarchic, because the ideas contained
in those volumes do not remain only in the
hearts of those who read, but are reversed in the
in daily action; so that
deepening and criticism serve to
sharpen the weapons to try to climb the ladder
of their own dreams, far from any form of
form of authority and hierarchy.

Disorder, because we cannot stand
a daily order made of police
impositions, laws, politics.
A Disorder that expresses life
against a deadly Order made of wars
wars, massacres, borders,
economy. Joy, struggle, revolt against
work, consumption, entertainment
imposed and commodification of time.

Biblioteca, perché vi troveranno sede
i volumi del movimento anarchico
internazionale e di movimenti di
lotta in generale, oltre ai testi di
letteratura o saggistica che diano uno
sguardo altro.

imposizioni, leggi, politica.
Un Disordine che esprime la vita
contro un Ordine mortifero fatto di
guerre, massacri, frontiere,
economia. Gioia, lotta, rivolta contro
lavoro, consumo, divertimento
imposto e mercificazione del tempo.

Greece: Solidarity fund for the imprisoned anarchist comrade Giannis Dimitrakis EN/GR

Posted on 2021/07/23 by darknights

Firefund here: https://www.firefund.net/giannis

Since 24/05, our friend and comrade, anarchist political prisoner Giannis Dimitrakis is being hospitalized at Lamia with heavy injuries from the murderous attack against him at Domokos prison. At the very moment, it appears that Giannis has overcomed the danger of the first hours. The injuries that he sustained however, have caused multiple hematomas in the head that influence basic functions of his brain.

On the murderous attack against anarchist comrade Giannis Dimitrakis

Since 24/05, our friend and comrade, anarchist political prisoner Giannis Dimitrakis is being hospitalized at Lamia with heavy injuries from the murderous attack against him at Domokos prison. At the very moment, it appears that Giannis has overcomed the danger of the first hours. The injuries that he sustained however, have caused multiple hematomas in the head that influence basic functions of his brain. On Sunday 30/05, many of us gathered outside of the hospital of Lamia. We shouted slogans just a few meters away from his bedroom window to express our solidarity, even though Giannis could not hear us. Since then, his state seems to be improving. For his health to be fully restored, however, continuiing monitoring from specialized medical personell is required for several months. It is obvious that such care cannot be given in the prison environment.

In this critical condition, the scumbags of the New Democracy government, the murderers of prisoners, Michalis Chrisochoidis, Sofia Nicholaou and their substitents, after trying to downgrade and even withhold the incident, decided on Thursday 03/06 the transport of Giannis Dimitrakis back to Domokos prison, going as far as to place him in an isolation cell for covid prevention purposes. The transfer of our comrade there, while his brain functions remain in immediate danger, is basically like a second murder attempt against him. Domokos prison is scheduled to soon become a discipline prison (type C) for political and undisciplined prisoners, although the prison does not fulfill the requirements to support decent health care that is needed for the recovery of a prisoner with such heavy injuries. After the near murder of Dimitris Koufontinas by the government, while he struggles to recover from his recent hunger strike in the same miserable conditions of the same prison, the murderous attack on Giannis is added to this equation as well. As Assembly of Solidarity with political prisoners and persecuted fighters, and as a solidarity movement in general, we are determined not to let our comrade helpless in their blood stained hands. Nothing can stay unanswered, not one of the death policy managers can be left in peace. As an assembly we generally try to see the issue of prisons system not separated but as a part of the big picture of the social and political issue. In the same way, we see the political prisoners as comrades first, but also as captives of the social-class war that always festers in this cruel capitalist world. In the same way, we understand the legal and prison system, firstly as a state policy determined by the class war, but also as a part of the total policy of the economy, health, education and environment as well. In all these fields, state and capital are moving in a neoliberal approach, attempting to demolish what is left as an obstacle in the way of capitalist development. At the same time, they try to silence every voice of resistance and drown every revolutionary prespective and tradition in sorrow. They use propaganda in order to strengthen their violence and dominance policy. Keeping that in mind, we consider both the specific events and the general state of the Greek prison system as social and political events that mirror the situation outside of prison as well.

Chile: Statment by Francisco Solar in Memory of Luisa Toledo Sepúlveda

Posted on 2021/07/22 - 2021/07/23 by darknights

I had the opportunity to speak with her only a few times, however I had the good fortune and the enriching possibility to listen to her on countless occasions.

I don’t think I was indifferent on any of those occasions. The power of her words and gestures, the intensity she brought to each of her statements and harangues motivated me enormously and still do. I remember them -in this encierro- and my hair still stands on end.

How lucky we all were to have been able to coincide in life with a person like Mrs. Luisa!

Another thing that never ceased to impress me was her permanent interest in updating herself, in knowing what was being discussed and proposed, and in knowing what were the motivations of the new generations of young fighters. This kept her fully up to date. It kept her in the struggle, rejecting any place of honor from where many feel they have the power to direct and delegitimize the new experiences. Mrs. Luisa is inseparable from the struggle because she herself is an expression of struggle.

The time I went to her house to invite her to the launching of a book – which was one of the few times I spoke with her – she was already ill and very weak, but in spite of that we talked for a long time asking me, with an interest that surprised me, every detail of our prison experience in Spain, which speaks and reaffirms her concern for every new event, especially for the situation of the prisoners, a reality that she lived directly with the imprisonment for several years of her granddaughter Sol.

I heard about her death on television and there they talked about the sad death of «Luisa Toledo, activist and human rights defender», evidently trying to hide what she really was and the annoyance she meant and will mean to the powers that be. Ms. Luisa was a vindicator and encourager of political violence, permanently affirming, explicitly, the urgent need to provide more forceful attacks. To go further, to carry out revenge against what she called: «the murderers and exploiters of the people», so that the denomination of «defender of human rights» I think it falls short (to say the least) accommodating only to those who profit from the struggle and the dead.

Finally, I send an affectionate embrace to all those close to him and his family, especially to Don Manuel and Ana.

Only those who forget die die!

Athens, Greece: A presentation from 325 for the event at the Libertarian Hangout of Pikrodafni EN/GR

Posted on 2021/07/22 - 2021/07/23 by darknights

Telephone presentation about 325 #12 – ‘Against the Fourth and Fifth Industrial Revolutions’ by a comrade from the 325 Collective at the event (https://athens.indymedia.org/event/84890/ ) held at the libertarian hangout Pikrodafni in support of the Solidarity Fund for Prisoners’ & Persecuted Fighters.

I want to start off by saying that I regret not being there in person, to see the faces of the comrades in attendance today because we are increasingly existing in a reality that is being dominated more by the screen and devices that have become artificial substitutes for what is real, the human face to face communication, something really lacking in the present we are in. So maybe one day we will see each others faces, our expressions of complicity, exchange some conspiratorial words. We are living in times now where ‘the movements’, well the remnants of I would call it, are struggling to find a new energy, a new path, a new trajectory through these times of pandemic, the blatant repression and control inflicted on us all, not just ‘the movements.’ This is why I am speaking to you now, as a comrade with deep concern about what is coming across the horizon at us faster than it has before, to build connection internationally, to spread ideas that can transform into action, because we are anarchists, not philosophers, academics, leftists or activists, we are those who do not see a separation between ideas and action, transforming our everyday into the attack.

The 325 project with its publications since 2004 was born from a DIY ethos, with insurrection, crime, autonomy, anti-prison and anti-psychiatry themes evolving into an ‘insurgent zine of social war & anarchy’ in later issues. From the outset there has been an increasing concentration on an international perspective, but especially with the development of technology, the destruction, death and control it inflicts.

Recently in the last 3 issues, #10, #11 & the recent issue this presentation focuses on, Issue #12, have come to concentrate on an anti-technology perspective, even given name to such an accelerating shift within the state, capitalism and the technological-industrial system, as the 4th & 5th Industrial Revolutions and within it the threat of the Technological Singularity.

The recent issue of 325, is a coming together of international anarchist individuals and collectives concentrating on the similar theme, analysis of the new realities that are the 4th & 5th Industrial Revolutions. A definition I feel is required here for both. The 4th Industrial Revolution (also known Industry 4.0) is the ongoing automation of traditional manufacturing and industrial practices, using modern smart technology. Large-scale machine-to-machine communication and the internet of things (IoT) are integrated for increased automation, improved communication and self-monitoring, and production of smart machines that can analyze and diagnose issues without the need for human intervention. This will mostly marked by the breakthrough of emerging technologies such as robotics, artificial intelligence, nanotechnology, quantum computing, biotechnology, the internet of things, the industrial internet of things, decentralized consensus, cashless society, cryptocurrencies, fifth-generation wireless technologies (5G), 3D printing, and fully autonomous vehicles. All of these as most of you are probably aware are already permeating through our present society, which shows the 4IR is already under way.
