Mexico: Solidarity with the Archipelago of Fire! Demo at the Indonesian Embassy in Mexico City

Posted on 2025/10/28 by darknights

Report back of solidarity action in Mexico City for persecuted anarchists in Indonesia:

On October 17, 2025, anarchist groups such as the CATL and Cruz Negra, along with Radio Zapote and others, gathered near the Indonesian embassy in a wealthy Mexico City neighborhood to proclaim solidarity for anarchists persecuted and imprisoned by the state. Surrounded by police filming and intimidating us, we shared food with the community while we disseminated information about the crackdown against anarchist activists in Indonesia.

We undertook this action to express our solidarity with the uprisings which began after the Indonesian parliament awarded themselves a housing subsidy equivalent to ten times the minimum wage and passed legislation that allows military personnel to run for political office, renewing fears of another military dictatorship. These protests exploded after police murdered Affan Kurniawan, a 21-year-old delivery worker by smashing into him with their armored vehicle.

For many months, members of the Indonesia’s Generation Z have taken to the streets, participating in what has been called the “global south revolts,” a wave of resistance sweeping through countries such as Bangladesh, Morocco, Nepal, Madagascar, Ecuador and Peru in which the citizens of those countries have risen up against the misery imposed upon them by greedy capitalists and corrupt political elites.

During our anarchist solidarity event in Mexico City, we also discussed our comrade “Eat” who, along with other anarchists, has been detained incommunicado for some time. The police had been searching for Eat because he had been raising funds for and providing support to 42 Indonesians accused of being members of the insurrectionary anarchist movement.

It looks like we are facing a series of uprisings spreading across diverse geographies, and its ideas do not pursue a political model but rather an epic struggle against the injustices that are being sought to be installed in the global sphere, and especially in the South.

Throughout the global south and all reaches of the globe, a resistance is spreading against the misery and injustice imposed by global elites, an anarchist struggle that fights against venal politicians and predatory capitalists alike.

¡Muerte al estado y que viva la anarquía!
Death to the state! Long live anarchy!

Eat’s Case Partially Submitted in Court – The Comrade was Tortured (Indonesia)

Posted on 2025/10/28 by darknights

The West Java paramilitary police have submitted the first part of accused anarchist comrade Eat’s case to the court. The details are not reported yet but it is known that the comrade is being made into a ‘leadership’ scapegoat for the fabricated “Chaos Star” frame-up and he is also accused of ‘leadership’ of the mass insurrection which happened in August 2025. Parts of the legal case are still being held back because the Special Detachment for Anti-Terrorism (Densus 88) is handling the “Chaos Star” case, especially concerning Eat. There’s an effort to charge Eat under the terrorism law. This is also why the investigation period against Eat was extended until November 20th 2025. The Prabowo Subianto regime has reopened the old documents about the FAI-IRF attack in Yogyakarta in 2011. What is certain is that Eat was tortured, like the other detained comrades. We have not enough information to confirm the severity of his injuries. What we can confirm, is that despite being tortured Eat did not give anyone’s name. Eat is already paralysed in one arm and also suffering from serious health condition. The paramilitary police and Densus anti-terrorist unit are cowards who beat and torture young people in handcuffs. All over the world we are rising up against police bastards, politicians, jailers, banks and corporations!

We demand the freedom of Eat and all the other detainees!

Torturer’s hands off the detainees!

Fire to the prisons!

Imminent Mass Hunger Strike Across UK Prisons

Posted on 2025/10/28 - 2025/10/28 by darknights

Solidarity to the prisoners and hungerstrikers of the Palestinian liberation struggle. Freedom for all the incarcerated. Destroy all prisons, jailers and police forever. DN.

Dozens of political prisoners in the so-called United Kingdom who have endured months of targeted abuse behind bars due to their support for Palestinian liberation are announcing their intention to launch a hunger strike.
Prisoners for Palestine representative Audrey Corno (who I interviewed last month) says it would mark the largest coordinated prisoners’ hunger strike in the UK since the Irish Republican Army/Irish National Liberation Army hunger strike in the occupied North of Ireland in 1981, when ten prisoners of war were martyred.

On 20 October, Audrey and Francesca Nadin, both of whom have spent time behind bars for direct actions against zionist weapons companies, delivered a letter to the UK Home Secretary “on behalf of the 33 people unjustly locked up as a result of taking action to stop the genocide in Palestine.”

They have five demands: an end to all censorship of their mail and communications; immediate and unconditional release on bail; the right to a fair trial; the removal of Pal Action from the proscribed “terrorist” list; and the closure of all Elbit Systems facilities in the UK.

The prisoners, who include members of the Filton 24 and the Brize Norton 5, have been detained without charge in multiple UK jails under the “Terrorism Act,” in some cases for over a year. Thus far, appeals for the prisoners to be released on bail have been unsuccessful.

Chile: Update on the final week of the trial against Aldo and Lucas Hernández

Posted on 2025/10/26 by darknights

The eleventh and final week of the trial against our comrades Aldo and Lucas came to an end. Following the closing arguments by the prosecution and the defense teams for both comrades, which were in response to the statements made by both sides in order to present their own theories, the prosecution was emphatic in pointing out the guilt of both defendants in the acts with which they were charged. Aldo was charged with crime No. 1, which corresponded to the attack on the National Gendarmerie Directorate, as well as crime No. 2, which was after the raids, for which he was charged with the items found in Loncura, Quintero, and crime No. 3, which involved Lucas and the items found at the La Victoria neighborhood residence, as noted in the previous update.

On October 3, the judges began the verdict hearing, in which Aldo was convicted of the attack, but acquitted of the crimes of 16 less serious injuries to gendarmerie officials and the crime of receiving stolen goods. Regarding incident No. 2, he was convicted of the crimes charged at the residence in Loncura, and regarding incident No. 3, he was acquitted of all crimes at the residence in La Victoria.

Lucas was convicted of the vast majority of the crimes at the residence in La Población La Victoria, except for the crimes of manufacturing weapons and manufacturing explosive devices, of which he was acquitted.

After the verdict, the sentencing phase began, which concluded with the plaintiffs requesting a sentence of 32 years and 1,100 days for Aldo and 18 years and 800 days for Lucas. On the defense side, they requested a sentence of 26 years for Aldo and 12 years for Lucas. The final outcome and length of the sentences will be determined by the judges on the day the sentence is read. At the same hearing, the date for the reading was set for Monday, November 3 of this year.

Italy: Anna Beniamino – Contribution from Rebibbia prison ahead of the national assembly on October 11 in Rome, in solidarity with Alfredo Cospito, against 41 bis

Posted on 2025/10/26 by darknights

Anna’s scattered notes as a contribution to the October 11 assembly in Rome against 41bis for Alfredo

There is no shortage of analysis of the authoritarian turn currently underway, a real turn, albeit perceived in these parts as a low-intensity phenomenon, amid the cynicism of the powerful and the indifference of their subjects, sedated by the bread and circuses of the digital age.
The ‘Cospito case’ has been and continues to be one aspect of this shift: Alfredo has been held hostage, under 41bis, as a warning of this repressive crackdown, but it is not an extreme case, a distortion of the system. Rather, it is a tangible sign of the lowering of the threshold of punishability for political and social opposition and the consolidation of preventive repression strategies, from the tabula rasa on active components to the outright annihilation of speech and the silencing of critical thought.
Analyses of the repressive context and of whether or not to focus on the discourse (41bis – Alfredo in 41bis – anti-anarchist repression – repression simply) are not uniform, I believe, but hopefully converge on the need to oppose it, a need that is non-negotiable and cannot be misunderstood as a mere remnant of indignation at a legal distortion.
“Necessity” in the sense that we must maintain awareness, as a manifestation of vitality and planning, that the struggle is an existential dimension, not a ritual deadline on micro or macro issues. Whether it concerns specific and limited issues, such as a campaign to show solidarity with a single comrade or a situation under repressive attack, or macro issues such as the current state of widespread war, the genocide of a people, or the technological restructuring of forms of exploitation of man by man and of nature, we must first of all be aware that this is not a matter of external, superficial adherence, but of an intimate reason for struggle.

Having made this “light” introduction…
Although the authoritarian shift in Italy is being led by a handful of showmen controlled by the interests of global capitalism, such as the current holders of government positions, it is a fact that they are succeeding in carrying out a concerted effort to reduce the scope for protest, tightening prison and legislative conditions in the name of security and the specter of the democratic stability of institutions. Of course, this is not only the result of the new actors on the parliamentary stage; it was already well underway in the 1980s, with repressive strategies launched against the revolutionary component, from which much has been taken in rhetorical and propagandistic form, more indigestible than any reheated dish (if before the “bad teachers” were Toni Negri, now they are mathematicians such as, mind you, not Theodore Kaczynski but… Piergiorgio Odifreddi, to give a small example from recent days). And those who are not obtusely sedated by the institutional narrative, on either side, should grasp the meaning of certain continuities, where the only function is subservience to domination, to capital.
It is no coincidence that, amid this deluge of propaganda and television talk show rhetoric, the battle cries of any regime remain unchanged: in addition to the criminalization of public squares, anarchist press, grassroots trade unionists… even pacifist environmentalists, there is an obsessive search for enemies, political opponents, and terrorists to be destroyed.
If there is a lack of ready-to-use material, given that we live in relatively peaceful times in terms of social opposition, in addition to new or very new material (complete with the criminalization of non-conformist immigrants and keyboard warriors turned into dangerous Islamists), old or very old material is dusted off or kept warm, sought after by entire countries and continents or walled up alive for half a century. Counterbalancing the inconsistency of the initiatives of struggle and solidarity is the constancy and inevitability of the state moloch. It is quite significant that the long repressive memory is counterbalanced by a revolutionary amnesia (to use the definition of some comrades in reference to the German movement grappling with a repressive backlash that culminated in the arrest of Daniela Klette) of everything that has been a heritage of struggle and critical thinking.
Amnesia is not random but is one of the effects of a strategy of tabula rasa on the defeated enemy. “Carthago delenda est” [DN: ‘Carthage must be destroyed’ meaning ‘It must be destroyed’] and let’s throw salt on its ruins. Today’s tyrants prefer luxury resorts built on human bone meal and artificial intelligence that trains young Palestinians to be happy waiters or odalisques [DN: harem slave], but it is a model applied at both the micro and macroscopic levels. It is precisely this feeling of tabula rasa that leads to having to rebuild from scratch every time and in every place, struggling in increasingly restricted and claustrophobic communication bubbles, illusory comfort zones among like-minded people who comment and criticize the moves of others like spectators at the edge of the ring… rather than feeling part of a movement in struggle. Paris, France: Fire involving a crane at the Baudrière construction site in Montreuil

Posted on 2025/10/26 by darknights

It was in lower Montreuil, in a seemingly quiet neighborhood, that an inexplicable and unexpected tragedy occurred during the night of Wednesday, October 22 to Thursday, October 23. Passersby noticed a sudden glow: the cab of a crane was on fire, causing chaos and widespread panic.

The firefighters were slow to arrive. This gave the fire time to cause considerable, irreversible, and unspeakable damage. Although relatively invisible from the street except for the blackened windows of the cabin, the significant impact of this fire was revealed to us by a source close to the investigation. The cabin, burned out from the inside, is now completely unusable.

The vehicle in question was located on the Imava construction site at 65 bis rue Voltaire, the real estate developer that evicted the squat known as La Baudrière in August 2022. This construction site is currently at a standstill.

Shortly afterwards, we received a text containing an interview with an expert on the event in question. Will it shed light on this very dark affair? We sincerely hope so.

Barraux (Isère), France: A glimmer of hope under the hood for the Lyon-Turin project

Posted on 2025/10/26 by darknights

We claim responsibility for:
One autumn night, a fire, three construction vehicles burned at the Barreaux quarry in Isère.
Owned by Vicat Béton, beneficiary and accomplice in the devastation caused by the construction of the second Lyon-Turin railway line.

The targets:
– 1 sifter, sorting the aggregates extracted from the quarry by size
– 2 bulldozers, moving rubble and leveling the ground

If you still believe that destroying our territories for this project is a good idea, you have been misinformed.
If you think that the 3 vehicles we burned will be enough to slow down the construction site, you are mistaken.
We will have to attack from all sides to shake TELT. They are the vandals.

Quarries are poorly monitored and are an essential link in the construction process. Slowing down the supply means slowing down the construction site.

Let’s light the fire under the hood. The flame spreads quickly.

URGENT: Update and Postal Address for the 43 “Chaos Star” Imprisoned Comrades in Bandung (Indonesia)

Posted on 2025/10/25 - 2025/11/05 by darknights

URGENT: Defendants in the “Chaos Star” network case face up to 20 years in prison

After the mass revolts in August 2025, where a large section of the population rose up and attacked the state’s basic corruption and inequality, 43 anarchist comrades are imprisoned at the West Java paramilitary police compound in Bandung. There is no access for anyone but the families, and even this is minimal. The detainees have been cut off and they are being used in a mainstream media manipulation campaign by the Indonesian state. Many of the imprisoned comrades are very young. They are all accused of being part of the individualist-nihilist “Chaos Star” network, which is a fabrication created by the police for the purpose of their prosecution. The police claim that the imprisoned comrades were radicalised by ‘Leaders’ and funded by foreign anarchist organisations. The cops point to the existence of banners, flags, books, pamphlets and music, which is in the possession of the detainees, as commonly held items denotative of membership of this “Chaos Star” organisation.

Some of the comrades are accused of serious direct actions such as molotov attacks, arson, riot, property destruction, etc. Lastly some of the comrades are accused of instigation, either online, for their blogs or social medias or for their ‘prominent’ role. They are isolated in the paramilitary compound and the Legal Aid Institute (LBH) in Bandung has been blocked from representing them. An option is to hire a private lawyer but that would cost tens of millions (rupiah). We ask for heightened attention to this dangerous situation. Torture and abuse are being widely used on the detainees, confirmed by the families. The young comrades were injured and hurt until they gave false confessions that they were even at the demonstrations and/or part of specific organisations, as they were subjected to the brutality of the paramilitary police. This is a known fact and a reality that we have to confront. In the wake of the insurrection across Indonesia against the right-wing ex-military Prabowo Subianto, the young people and the anarchist movement has been severely repressed by the regime. Many young people have been caught up in the police assaults and regardless of their supposed “guilt” or “non-guilt”, we extend our solidarity with them, and to all those who struggle against social oppression, prisons, police and the state. Federal Agents Arrest Another Person in Prairieland Case, Bringing Total Number of Defendants to 18 (USA)

Posted on 2025/10/25 by darknights

The Arrest Comes More Than Three Months After July 4 Immigrant Solidarity Protest and Less Than a Month After Felony Charges Were Brought Against Johnson County Sheriff Adam King, Who Is Directly Involved in the Prairieland Case

DALLAS-FORT WORTH, TX — In an early morning raid yesterday, federal agents arrested another person in connection with a July 4 protest at the Prairieland ICE Detention Center. More than three months after the protest, Janette Goering was arrested by federal and local police at her home in Carrollton, Texas, on Tuesday, October 21. Goering is being held at Johnson County Jail on a state charge of aiding in the commission of terrorism and has a bond set at $5 million.

Goering’s arrest continues a trend of escalation by police and prosecutors in a case that now involves 18 defendants. The government is using exorbitant bonds of up to $15 million to imprison all but one of the defendants. “It’s unbelievable that more than three months later the state is still trying to widen the net in this case,” said a spokesperson for the DFW Support Committee, a group of family and loved ones of defendants. “They’re attempting to prosecute this as an “Antifa” case in order to terrorize the movement in solidarity with immigrants, but it’s not going to work.”

The case has been hailed by the Trump administration as the first legal case against “Antifa.” On October 15, federal charges were formally brought against two of the Prairieland defendants, Autumn Hill and Zachary Evetts; the charges include 1 count of providing material support to terrorists, 3 counts of attempted murder of officers and employees of the United States, and 3 counts of discharging a firearm during, in relation to, and in furtherance of a crime of violence. FBI director Kash Patel called the defendants “Antifa-aligned anarchist violent extremists,” sharing Fox News coverage of the indictments on X. “This seems like a coordinated political campaign,” said Stephanie Shiver, wife of defendant Meagan Morris. “The feds didn’t do anything for months and then they bring everyone into court just days after Trump designated ‘Antifa’ a priority threat.” On September 25, the White House released the National Security Presidential Memorandum-7 (NSPM-7), which ordered all federal law enforcement agencies to prioritize combating “Antifa” as a domestic terrorism threat. ‘October Repression Round Up’ – In Contempt #57 (USA)

Posted on 2025/10/18 - 2025/10/18 by darknights

Here is the round up of repression for October from In Contempt.

Casey Goonan Sentencing

From Casey’s support committee:

Today at the federal building in downtown Oakland, dozens of friends, comrades and family gathered to support Casey at their sentencing hearing. Before a courtroom with pews full of supporters, both the US Attorney and Casey’s legal team made their arguments before the judge in addition to Casey themselves addressing the court and reading a prepared statement.

In alignment with the plea deal between the prosecution and the defense, the prosecution asked for a sentence of 188 months with an additional 15 years of close supervision afterwards that would include, among other restrictions, no possession of a computer or digital device without the approval of a parole officer, the installation of surveillance software on any device if possession was granted. The defense didn’t contest the close supervision but proposed a sentence of 96 months.

After a recount of his reasoning and overall position, the judge was vicious, pronouncing a sentence of 235 months and then 15 years of close supervision. This is 20 years, well beyond the plea deal agreement, and nearly the limit of the federal sentencing guidelines of 240 months.
