In August and September 2025, after the murder of a motorbike courier during a protest against government corruption and police brutality in Jakarta, Indonesia exploded into a huge popular uprising which rocked the regime of the ex-military President Prabowo. After the riots, the ruling elites blamed the “anarchists” for causing the unrest and they started to round up thousands of young people in major cities, blaiming them for taking part in the protests.
Across the country, young people were snatched by the anti-terrorist unit, ‘Densus 88’, and tortured until they gave false testimony. The regime attacked young people in the streets, delivery drivers, IT workers, activists, punks, journalists, musicians & others, who were all accused of serious “crimes”…
Come and find out about the ‘Chaos Star‘ frame-up of more than 70 accused anarchists. Come and find out how the cops were able to round up the anarchist, radical left and alternative scenes in Indonesia. What can we learn from the repression? What are the roles of anarchists during mass insurrections?
How we can support the hundreds of prisoners? Find out @ BASE, 15/3/26
Reports are confirmed that ICE agents shot 37 year old comrade Alex Pretti, an ICU nurse, on the street, who was filming their repression in Minneapolis, USA. This took place in the context of widespread protests and an ongoing general strike. The USA has been rocked by the widespread deployment of a fascist personal army of Trump who are attacking and detaining people of colour. There is a media whiteout on the actual detailed news of what is taking place. The Trump administration has reached its point of no return.

This compilation is coming together in a moment when it feels that many anarchist ideas are losing their meanings. Dragged out of anarchy into leftism or activism, drained of their radical content. Mutual aid isgiving away supplies, direct action is a more aggressive form of begging, anti-fascism is reduced to publishing personal details about our enemies, attack is left to gather dust or spectacularized as a social media aesthetic.
Lining up anarchist ideas and practices is not always easy, which is no reason to lower the bar. It’s with this in mind that it felt useful to compile these articles, to clarify just how radical anarchist ideas really are, to encourage people to keep imagining and moving toward absolute hostility with authority and anarchic relations with everyone else.

February 21st in Manchester we Resist Britain First’s ‘March for Remigration’!
This is a national call to oppose fascism and racism on our streets. From across Greater Manchester and the rest of the country, we must stand together on February 21st and make it clear that these fascists are not welcome in our communities or on our streets.
Britain First have called a ‘March for Remigration’ in February, a racist dog whistle that is calling for a white supremacist ethnic cleansing of the United Kingdom by the forced expulsion of non-white people.
Groups from across Greater Manchester are now banding together to call for a huge show of unity in opposing this horrific racism. Britain First and their supporters have been at the forefront of a four month campaign of racism in Fallowfield, and if they are allowed to walk through Manchester unopposed their racism, homophobia, and misogyny will run rampant.
This is a city with a proud Anti-Fascist heritage and it is vital we become the latest generation to stand up and be counted when far-right racists try and claim our streets as their own.
More details will come in time but for now: Save The Date, Get Organised, and Get Ready to Oppose Britain First and show them that racism and fascism will never be welcome on our streets.
¡No pasarán!
We note the recent proscription of the so-called ‘Antifa Ost’ at an international level by the Trump Administration and the increased repression taking place worldwide against the radical left, anarchist and anti-fascist movements.
The Hungarian government made antifascism officialy illegal through legislative means. Antifascist activists are under surveillance, demomstrations are banned. The new legislation makes room for limitless repression.
At the 14th of February, there is going to be an international nazi meeting in Budapest. Nazi rock festival, nazi grand meeting, nazi tour, with several thousands of attendees. The antifascist counter demonstration is banned. Several hundred policeman are going to protect the nazi events and in the meantime, hunt for antifascists.
We ask all antifascists, to protest the Hungarian fascist regime at the 14th of February! Show international solidarity before embassys, consulates or any other sorts of Hungarian state-sponsored facilities!
Down with Orbán’s fascist system!

In September 2025, a Hungarian government decree declared “anti-fascist gathering together” (sic!) to be “terrorist organization.” This means that anti-fascist activity is now prohibited in Hungary. They are not persecuting a specific organization or taking action against specific acts, but rather ordering the persecution of anti-fascism itself. Chaos Star update 22.1.26
Accused anarchist comrade Eat, in the Chaos Star case, has been released from the West Java paramilitary police compound to house/city arrest. Eat is expected to be watched closely by the Densus88 antiterrorist unit. Comrades and lawyers went to meet him and take him to get nutrition, medicine and rest. Eat remains under investigation and the case is still open. Here’s what Eat’s lawyer had to say about his status:
‘Eat was release by operation of law because the detention period during the investigation stage had expired and could not be extended. However, this release is temporary, as the legal process is still ongoing. The case is currently awaiting transfer from the prosecutor’s office. If it proceeds to the prosecution stage, Eat may be detained again and transferred to Kebon Waru Detention Center for trial.
From a substantive standpoint, Eat actually has a legal advantage in this case. The charges and the investigation report do not meet the required legal elements, particularly those related to incitement. There is no clear evidence of any direct call or instruction to organize or carry out last year’s protest, as alleged. because of this, the prosecutors themselves are hesitant to move the case forward to court.’
This hesitation has also influenced the investigator’s decision not to pursue a second case involving Eat and another named comrade. We thank everyone for their solidarity and support. Without international pressure, we do not believe that Eat would have been released.
Nothing is over. Eat could be re-arrested. There are another 73 accused anarchists and hundreds of prisoners of the uprising still detained. Yet this is a major success, since the Densus88 wanted to scapegoat Eat as the organizational figurehead and leader of the fake Chaos Star network and of the insurrection itself.
Please remain attentive to the health condition and legal process of Eat and that of the other prisoners. Anarchist comrade Dena remains in the West Java compound, and is also ill from lack of HIV medication. Take action and donate to Palang Hitam/ABC Indonesia. We don’t have enough support to adequately provide infrastructure to such a large number of prisoners at a time when the anarchist movement is under attack in Indonesia. To donate, contact Dark Nights, IWOC UK or any long-running established ABC group.
Fire to the prisons!

Now that the masses all over the world have expressed their solidarity with Gaza, I’d be curious to know how social scientist Elias Canetti(1) would describe his concept of the “masses” in such a technological, warmongering and at the same time, exterminating age as ours. He says that mass society exists in the mind of human beings before it materially expresses itself. If ancient societies chose certain social and economic forms of mere subsistence, it was because they deliberately chose not to use bureaucratic or authoritarian methods: they foresaw their dangers. Our ancestors, therefore, were perfect political animals, aware and active observers of the community’s social life.
So what are these squares and streets full of people today, if in our daily lives we go back to the riverbed of a life organized and imposed by others?
Now that the “truce” in Gaza is divulged and imposed with the stamp of the army boot and the mediatic hype on the Flotilla, now that they are silencing and dampening the surge against the massacre, how to transform it into an action going beyond the manifestation and expression of opinions? Power uses human emotions as a can opener; often, the former gives its best in its “delayed reaction” empathic emotion and during “emergencies”, and it coagulates in peaks of scorn. A humanity which is nevertheless still alive despite all the efforts to atomize it. Its more progressive components are proving united in the face of the evidence of an extermination. Over the reaction timing, we should reason at length. Unfortunately, we haven’t yet understood in depth how deceitful and blackmailing the tactics of the enemies of life are, to what extent do commodities and quiet living manage to recuperate the movements, even sincere ones, at least here in Europe. In order to be more incisive and longsighted they have to doggedly overcome exactly the traps scattered over the ground of the struggle, which have the precise function of making everyone go back to the wishy-washy pen of the democratic morals, to issues such as the use of liberating violence or not, to inaction. Let’s move from emotions to self-organizing and direct action. If the roads of freedom are hindered, revolutionary movements of the past teach us opacity and going underground.
FORT WORTH, TX — A federal judge in the Prairieland ICE Detention Center case fined three defense lawyers five hundred dollars each last week for a mistake in a routine motion to compel discovery. In a Show Cause hearing on January 14, U.S. District Court Judge Mark Pittman admonished lawyers representing Prairieland defendant Zachary Evetts, calling the motion “frivolous.”
In response to this and other actions taken by Judge Pittman in the Prairieland case, the DFW Support Committee—a group of family and loved ones of the defendants—published a statement today. “As the Prairieland defendants’ federal trial approaches, a pattern of concerning activity by the presiding judge, Mark Pittman, has emerged,” reads the statement. “The fate of the defendants—and the result of this trial—will have enormous impacts on the legal terrain for those resisting ICE terror and the course of the rising authoritarianism in the U.S. As such, the fairness of this trial should be an acute concern for all.”
“Judge Pittman is showing a clear disdain for the defendants,” said Irina Popova, who attended the Show Cause hearing. “Zachary’s lawyer was doing his job by asking the court to make sure he gets all the relevant evidence. The judge compared him to a five-year-old child, and bullied him into agreeing that his request was frivolous, which is deeply disturbing, and forebodes an unfair trial.” Continue reading “Supporters of Prairieland Defendants Release Statement Raising Serious Concerns About Actions of Judge in Upcoming Federal Trial (USA)”
