Concerning Claudio’s detention situation, about two months ago he was transferred from the AS3 unit to the “commons” unit in the prison of Syracuse. The reasons for his transfer have yet to be clarified, but it seems it is a “ministerial” order, i.e. by DAP [Department of Prison Administration] (actually the body that decides over placements in detention). Moreover it was declared that custodial measures for 280bis were not valid, but he remains in prison for ‘carrying and fabricating weapons and explosives with purposes of terrorism’.

We recall that the first grade trial for ”Operation Bialystok” started on 25^th February 2021 with statements from the witness for the prosecution Luigi Imperatore, a ROS colonel. On 12^th May Imperatore was still the protagonist, carrying on his historical ramblings regarding the anarchist galaxy and actually giving prominence to the usual written “evidence” for lack of concrete facts.

The next hearings will be on 8^th and 30^th June, when experts for the defence will be heard (concerning accusations against Claudio), who will present their consultation based on the reports produced by the prosecutor. After the summer break hearings will continue on 7^th, 9^th September and 6^th October. From 30/06 hearings will be held in the bunker courtroom of Rebibbia.

A quick update.
Without wasting a minute, the night after the last “Scintilla” preliminary hearing [June 16], they put me back on a plane to send me back to this shitty place, S. Maria Capua Vetere. I knew that the transfer to the north was only a temporary support, but I sincerely thought that I would hhttps://malacoda.noblogs.org/post/2021/06/19/natascia-nuovamente-trasferita-al-carcere-di-santa-maria-capua-vetere-16-06-2021/ave some more time, just as I naively hoped that they would at least read the various petitions submitted, by me and my lawyer, for reassignment to another prison.

Since the day I was transferred here, three months ago, I have not been able to communicate decently with my lawyer: interviews have been reopened, so no video calls or phone calls at the request of the lawyer, phone calls are only one per month lasting 10 minutes, even for defendants and even for those who are 1,000 kilometres away from the trial site or from home. If he is in the mood, the director of the prison can grant a second extraordinary one during the same month, but obviously, as this is a concession, he is under no obligation to do so, and in any case it is out of the question to exceed two monthly. So 20 minutes per month, in a small stuffy room, and at the appointed time and day, hoping that your lawyer will be in the office that day. Twenty minutes a month, from a month and a half before the beginning of the trial [for the “Scintilla” operation, in Turin], until today, when the trial has substantially come to an end. There are two hearings left, before the closing speech of the prosecutor, two hearings in which there should have been reasoning about spontaneous statements, examination and cross-examination, but it seems that I will have to reason alone. On the face of it, it seems as if everything is being done to prevent a “dignified” defence… or rather, any defence at all… just in case the prosecution’s hyperbolic and morbidly house of cards starts to creak. Then it is much better for them if this possibility, that of defending themselves in court, is reduced to a minimum. I will not dwell here on how videoconferencing fits perfectly with this strategy, much has already been discussed about it (though perhaps not enough). It is known that to think badly you’re very often right. Of the twenty days I spent in Vigevano, fifteen were spent in solitary confinement and one in court, and another two days were spent travelling back and forth… in short, not even this was an opportunity to talk to the lawyer, since solitary confinement is not allowed for visitors. In the last days of the first week of June, the Gendarmería de Chile (Genchi) carried out a massive transfer of prisoners from the Cárcel de Alta seguridad (CAS) to the prison of Rancagua, capital of the O’Higgins region, 87 kilometres south of Santiago.

The prisoners include the Anarchists and Subversives: Juan Aliste Vega, Marcelo Villarroel, Mauricio Hernández Norambuena, Juan Fhlores, Joaquín García and Francisco Solar.

The transfer of these prisoners was motivated by modifications in the infrastructure of the CAS, which will last approximately one year. Once the works are finished, the prisoners will be returned to the prison according to the information provided by GENCHI, meanwhile my comrades will be away from their affective and political environment. In this way, not only is the prisoner being punished, but also their friends, comrades and family members.

It is also important to emphasize that in the territory dominated by the Chilean State, free transit between regions is not allowed due to measures for the prevention of the spreading of Covid 19.

In the Metropolitan region there are at least three prisons to which they could have taken my comrades, perhaps the powerful took advantage of this transfer to isolate and further segregate the prisoners, perhaps none of the nearby prisons meets the security conditions to guard high-risk prisoners, or it could simply be just another form of revenge.

The transfer may be justified with this and other arguments. What is clear is that no movement of power is haphazard. Italy: Anarchist comrade Natascia Savio is on hunger strike since June 16

From a video call this morning [June 19] with a comrade, Natascia made it known that on June 16, 2021, on her return to Vigevano prison after the preliminary hearing held in Turin for the ‘Scintilla’ trial in which she is a defendant, her temperature was taken and she was immediately put in an isolation cell. When she realised that she was there to be transferred back to S. Maria Capua Vetere prison [in the province of Caserta, southern Italy], she officially declared the start of her hunger strike, throwing the food out of the cell when it was delivered.

Requests for her to be assigned to another prison have been to no avail, given that her right to a defence is infringed, making it impossible for her to properly follow the trials in which she is accused in Genoa (‘Prometeo’) and Turin (‘Scintilla’) and to meet with her lawyer, both in the courtroom during the hearings and in the preparatory phase. It should also be added that the only motion she was able to present in person came from the prison of Vigevano, because from the prison of S. Maria Capua Vetere they never sent it, remaining in all probability to gather dust on a desk of the prison administration.

Natascia is determined to carry on to the end and not to touch food until the situation has changed.

Strong, determined and with her head held high, Natascia has never stopped fighting even when she was locked up. It is up to us outside to fight alongside her with the same strength and determination.

Italy: Natascia transferred again to Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison

The night after the second and last preliminary hearing of the Scintilla trial, held in Turin on June 16, anarchist comrade Natascia Savio was woken up again in the middle of the night in her cell inside Vigevano prison and transferred to another prison. This was discovered on the morning of June 17 by the comrade who went to the guardhouse at Vigevano prison for the visit and was told that Natascia was not there because she had been transferred the night before.

As usual, Natascia was not allowed to inform anyone, not even her lawyer. It was presumed that she might have been transferred back to the prison of S. Maria Capua Vetere, but no news about it was given – not even to her lawyer – until this morning [June 18], when the lawyer himself was confirmed that Natascia is indeed there.

At this point it is worth saying a few more words on the question of prison visits.

After the transfer from Piacenza prison to that of S. Maria Capua Vetere in mid-March, the permanent authorisation for visits between Natascia and a comrade issued by the GIP (“Judge for Preliminary Investigations”) became the subject of arbitrary interpretations by prison administration, who authorised only one hour of visit per month (no longer four, therefore) more than two months after the request and just before transferring her temporarily to Vigevano to allow her to attend the preliminary hearings of the Scintilla trial on June 4 and 16 in Turin. In Vigevano prison, the administration followed the same script. Natascia entered the AS3 (“High Security 3”) section between June 12 and 13, after the usual two-week medical isolation. The prison authorised only one hour of visit per month and, above all, decided to fix the visit for Thursday, June 17. When asked if it could be brought forward to Tuesday, June 15 (visits are currently held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so it was possible to do so), given that this was a temporary transfer until June 16 (although there was an attempt to make it permanent for territorial rapprochement), the prison administration did not want to hear reasons. Hi, I’m Boris. I’ve been incarcerated in the Nancy Maxéville prison for 9 months now for the burning of two cell towers in the Jura in April 2020.

If I decide only now to write a few public words about my case, it is mainly because the State has just judged me and it seems vital to me to put down on paper my impressions and my rage against this techno-totalitarianism which have not faded at all since I have been locked up. On the contrary.
While the States were agreeing to muzzle the population by summoning it to stay quietly at home under the pretext of curbing the covid-19 pandemic, waves of sabotages broke out in France and in Europe (Netherlands, England, Italy,. From East to West, from South to North of France, pylons have been knocked down, their cables cut and most of them burned by dozens, interrupting telecommunications, the geolocation of cell phones and the spying of those in the target of the repression organs.

At the time of writing, the sabotage of telecommunication networks continues unabated, even though it is in the interest of the ruling power to conceal or minimize it. Sometimes, the scale of the destruction is such that it is impossible for them to mute it, like the fire of a TDF relay in the Bouches-du-Rhône at the beginning of December 2020, or the claimed incendiary sabotage near Limoges to start the year 2021 with good resolutions.
The technological web, which covers all the territories, spreads at full speed and perfects its functioning with the new 5G network, allows to make accept a whole bunch of new social norms imposed by the State, under the recommendations and the blessing of doctors and scientists. Just like a whole bunch of products and drugs that keep the population wise and docile, screens play a leading role in getting the greatest number to accept confinement: telecommuting, tele-apéro, tele-school, tele-… How could the domination have “respected” this large-scale house arrest without all this techno-structure?
The time has come for the acceleration of flows and data, for the connectivity of everyday objects in order to control, listen to, trace, and spy on more and more, to make human beings more and more slaves of the machine. It is all this that domination calls “progress”, “civilization”. In reality, this project of society has everything of dystopia.
Faced with this digital grid, there are not 36,000 solutions. It seems to me necessary to go beyond the stage of criticism and to act here and now, by linking ideas to actions, by taking the necessary precautions to avoid falling into the meshes of repression. And unfortunately I know what I am talking about.
The whole affair starts with a new-looking blue cap covered with an oily plastic substance at the foot of one of the two relays of Mont Poupet, on which my DNA is taken. On the morning of July 15, 2019 I found the cops at home who asked me to follow them to sign a notification.

When I arrived at the police station, I found out that the notification was about my deportation for the following day, so they took me to Malpensa airport and kept me there.

Of course, the same day of the detention there was a medieval-style trial, with everything already decided at the beginning.

The next day, at Malpensa, I was told by a cop that the deportation had been blocked by the ECHR (European Convention on Human Rights), so instead of just releasing me, not satisfied with the outcome of the European court, they decided to lock me up in the CPR [Centro di Permanenza per il Rimpatrio, “Centre of Permanence for Repatriation”, detention centres for migrants in Italy] of Bari.

If until then the cops had been legalistic, in the CPR of Bari the cops are anything but “legalistic”. I would like to focus on some clarifications regarding the CPR:

1) Inside the CPR it is forbidden to introduce cameras or similar things.
