A Basket of Thoughts – Italian Anarchist Massimo Passamani Solidarity With Hunger Strike

Posted on 2025/11/17 - 2025/11/17 by darknights

In the twilight zone of sorts I find myself in- neither free nor fully imprisoned – I have decided to give up my daily work release from prison for the next week, as a gesture of solidarity with the Palestine Action comrades on hunger strike in British prisons, a strike my friend and brother Stecco has also joined. I know that my staying in prison instead of going to work will not bother the prison administration in the least. But my message is not addressed to prison management – whom I have nothing to say to and nothing to ask of but to those who are fighting against the genocide of the Palestinian people, alongside its indomitable resistance.

What I can offer, along with this small gesture, is a basket of thoughts, a handful of words with which to express what is in my heart.

The strength that comes to me from British prisons which, in turn, reflects the tenacity of that resistance which Zionist prisons and administrative detention centers are unable to bow, despite the isolation, the torture, and the rapes has not only the form of a commonality of ethics and ideals, but also the intensity of the emotions I feel in reading the hunger strike statements. Italy: Luca Dolce – Hunger strike in solidarity with UK prisoners and Palestinian resistance

Posted on 2025/11/12 by darknights

Yesterday, November 4th, I received news of the start of a hunger strike called by tens of political prisoners imprisoned in the United Kingdom for their struggles in solidarity with and for the liberation of Palestine.
In recent months, I read about comrade Teuta “T” Hoxha’s hunger strike, and was able to follow her story and that of comrades Casey Goonan and Malik Muhammad. I had time to ponder in case, as I expected, another chance presented itself to join a struggle which I feel an affinity for, which I feel deeply is my own.
The struggle against prison and the military techno-industrial system is essential for a struggle of broader scope, of revolutionary and internationalist resistance.
I am joining in the hunger strike, starting on November 8th, and will carry it out with an eye to the tactics and approach proposed by the comrades who initiated it. If it continues indefinitely, I will go on while paying attention to my body’s limits, deciding for myself whether and when to stop and continue the protest by other means.
I will take the time I need to share further thoughts as the protest continues. The reasons for this struggle, the actions for which these comrades are now imprisoned, speak for themselves.
I stand by their side with serenity and resolve.
Currently, I do not know whether the Palestinian comrade Anan Yaeesh, imprisoned in Melfi, is still on hunger strike. Regardless, my solidarity with him, Ali, and Mansour is vivid and strong.
With humility and respect, I close these lines by quoting the Kurdish comrade Sakîne Cansiz:
“On the other hand, facing the enemy on your own is also a special thing. Revolutionary will gathers in you. You can feel within yourself conviction, determination, the pure desire to fight. It is the most beautiful part of revolutionary struggle. Nothing distracts you, and you demolish the enemy with the strength of your personality. It is something to do with you, but also with the enemy’s image reflected in you. In your defense, it recognizes its impotence.”

Mexico: Solidarity with the Archipelago of Fire! Demo at the Indonesian Embassy in Mexico City

Posted on 2025/10/28 by darknights

Report back of solidarity action in Mexico City for persecuted anarchists in Indonesia:

On October 17, 2025, anarchist groups such as the CATL and Cruz Negra, along with Radio Zapote and others, gathered near the Indonesian embassy in a wealthy Mexico City neighborhood to proclaim solidarity for anarchists persecuted and imprisoned by the state. Surrounded by police filming and intimidating us, we shared food with the community while we disseminated information about the crackdown against anarchist activists in Indonesia.

We undertook this action to express our solidarity with the uprisings which began after the Indonesian parliament awarded themselves a housing subsidy equivalent to ten times the minimum wage and passed legislation that allows military personnel to run for political office, renewing fears of another military dictatorship. These protests exploded after police murdered Affan Kurniawan, a 21-year-old delivery worker by smashing into him with their armored vehicle.

For many months, members of the Indonesia’s Generation Z have taken to the streets, participating in what has been called the “global south revolts,” a wave of resistance sweeping through countries such as Bangladesh, Morocco, Nepal, Madagascar, Ecuador and Peru in which the citizens of those countries have risen up against the misery imposed upon them by greedy capitalists and corrupt political elites.

During our anarchist solidarity event in Mexico City, we also discussed our comrade “Eat” who, along with other anarchists, has been detained incommunicado for some time. The police had been searching for Eat because he had been raising funds for and providing support to 42 Indonesians accused of being members of the insurrectionary anarchist movement.

It looks like we are facing a series of uprisings spreading across diverse geographies, and its ideas do not pursue a political model but rather an epic struggle against the injustices that are being sought to be installed in the global sphere, and especially in the South.

Throughout the global south and all reaches of the globe, a resistance is spreading against the misery and injustice imposed by global elites, an anarchist struggle that fights against venal politicians and predatory capitalists alike.

¡Muerte al estado y que viva la anarquía!
Death to the state! Long live anarchy!

URGENT: Update and Postal Address for the 43 “Chaos Star” Imprisoned Comrades in Bandung (Indonesia)

Posted on 2025/10/25 - 2025/11/05 by darknights

URGENT: Defendants in the “Chaos Star” network case face up to 20 years in prison

After the mass revolts in August 2025, where a large section of the population rose up and attacked the state’s basic corruption and inequality, 43 anarchist comrades are imprisoned at the West Java paramilitary police compound in Bandung. There is no access for anyone but the families, and even this is minimal. The detainees have been cut off and they are being used in a mainstream media manipulation campaign by the Indonesian state. Many of the imprisoned comrades are very young. They are all accused of being part of the individualist-nihilist “Chaos Star” network, which is a fabrication created by the police for the purpose of their prosecution. The police claim that the imprisoned comrades were radicalised by ‘Leaders’ and funded by foreign anarchist organisations. The cops point to the existence of banners, flags, books, pamphlets and music, which is in the possession of the detainees, as commonly held items denotative of membership of this “Chaos Star” organisation.

Some of the comrades are accused of serious direct actions such as molotov attacks, arson, riot, property destruction, etc. Lastly some of the comrades are accused of instigation, either online, for their blogs or social medias or for their ‘prominent’ role. They are isolated in the paramilitary compound and the Legal Aid Institute (LBH) in Bandung has been blocked from representing them. An option is to hire a private lawyer but that would cost tens of millions (rupiah). We ask for heightened attention to this dangerous situation. Torture and abuse are being widely used on the detainees, confirmed by the families. The young comrades were injured and hurt until they gave false confessions that they were even at the demonstrations and/or part of specific organisations, as they were subjected to the brutality of the paramilitary police. This is a known fact and a reality that we have to confront. In the wake of the insurrection across Indonesia against the right-wing ex-military Prabowo Subianto, the young people and the anarchist movement has been severely repressed by the regime. Many young people have been caught up in the police assaults and regardless of their supposed “guilt” or “non-guilt”, we extend our solidarity with them, and to all those who struggle against social oppression, prisons, police and the state. Updates, repression and solidarity actions for the continuing struggle of anarchist comrades for the Indonesian Insurrection August 2025

Posted on 2025/09/16 by darknights

14/9/25 – Indonesia repression news

In short nationally there’s 5444 people reported arrested from the uprising. 583 are on further investigations. That is the recent report from the legal aid institution [www.lbhbandung.or.id]. On 3rd September the same leftist legal organisation released info that 3337 people had been arrested, so we can see that the repression is building momentum. Hundreds of anarchists are reported arrested.

The Indonesian anti-terrorist unit ‘Densus 88’, are basically a death squad and have been activated by the government. ‘Densus 88’ are now hunting the insurrectionary anarchist, nihilist and egoist circles and they focus on the arrested. They will try to charge the comrades already arrested and those wanted with terrorism, which will be hard to prove in court but the repression could be bloody and we ask for international attention and revolutionary solidarity. The anti-terrorist unit is officially hunting the same circle in Makassar. This is the way that the Indonesian state try to make a paranoid climate which is not that really successful.

Tosca and black

Anti-terrorist unit labelled the insurrectionists as the “Toska item chaos network”, which refers to a flag used by those to separate themselves from anarcho socialist who at early times still allied with underbelly of mainstream leftist. But now red and black and tosca always unite in the streets. So most of the comrades who used the individualist flag are also running with the flag of the chaos star also. Now the dynamics are different, insurrectionary red and black also affiliated with tosca, because of how many comrades are fed up with the NGOs and the leftists too. However five years ago if you go to the street and carry the individualist flag, the “civil anarchist” leftists and union members will block you and gave you to the police. After all this, the leftists and unions, NGOs, started to stink, and there’s no more infighting. In fact those three days were complete coordination with the red and black.

The intense riot of three days was the most spontaneous uprising in modern day Indonesia.

Long live the Tosca and black! Continue reading “Updates, repression and solidarity actions for the continuing struggle of anarchist comrades for the Indonesian Insurrection August 2025” →

Continued updates about the Indonesian uprising, hostile American ‘semperincolumem.com’ & the rise of private intelligence agents

Dark Nights recieves and transmits from our Indonesian comrades:

10th September

Java, Indonesia: Comrade arrested and accused of running anarchist counter info site

A comrade in Java has been arrested and accused of adminstrating ‘blackbloczone‘ ,an Indonesian focused anarchist website, a few days ago. The comrade is still being detained. The media scum have been up to their old tricks of degenerating our comrades’ name. Fire to the prisons! Free the comrade.

Bremen, Germany: In Rage and Solidarity with the Uprising in Indonesia

Attack on the Indonesian Honorary Consulate in Bremen. Against the rise of militarism and neo-fascism in Indonesia and everywhere!

On September 7, 2025, at around 2:15 a.m., we attacked the Indonesian Honorary Consulate in Überseestadt, Bremen, with paint fire extinguishers. With the slogan “Tantang Tirani!¹” we disappeared into the night.

On August 25, massive protests and unrest began in many parts of the Indonesian archipelago, triggered by the planned massive increase in salaries for the parliamentary elite. The protests were militant from the outset, but after the cops ran over and killed 21-year-old delivery worker Affan Kurniawan on August 28, the protests exploded into a massive uprising. Delivery workers, anarchists, and youth looted and burned down police stations, politicians’ homes, and government buildings. President Prabowo Subianto deployed the military, and at least six people have been killed by police and military forces so far. Hood River, Oregon, U$A: Arson Against Drone Manufacturer, Boeing Subsidiary

Posted on 2025/08/23 by darknights

In the early morning hours of July 23rd, an Insitu van was set ablaze while it sat in an empty lot across from their office in Hood River, OR. This fire was set, because the growth of the national security state poses an existential threat to all those who dream of free world. We act in total antagonism against those who enable and profit from militarism, policing and surveillance.

Insitu, a fully owned subsidiary of Boeing, develops and manufactures drone technology for military and law enforcement use. The Boeing Insitu RQ-21 Blackjack and MQ-27 ScanEagle surveillance drones have been integrated into weapons systems operated by the US Navy and Marine Corp. ScanEagle UAV’s are actively being utilized by the Saudi-led coalition forces as part of their ongoing military intervention in the Yemeni civil war.

In 2023 the Customs and Border Protection agency began conducting technology evaluations of the Blackjack and ScanEagle drones for surveillance purposes at the US-Mexico border. In 2011 Insitu introduced the Inceptor, a small unmanned helicopter designed to fit in the trunk of cop cars. This further demonstrates that technology developed for military interventions abroad will always be reconstituted for domestic counter insurgency and repression through policing and border enforcement.

As Israel continues its genocidal war against the people of Gaza, we will not forget that Boeing is among the largest manufacturers of munitions and military equipment to the IDF, including F-15 Fighter Jets and Apache Attack Helicopters. Boeing is supplying Israel with the weapons and technology that make this genocide possible. We did this action as a modest gesture of solidarity with ongoing Palestinian resistance to colonialism and apartheid — from within and outside the occupied territories — from the river to the sea
