Milan, Italy: Everyone hates the police

Posted on 2024/12/04 by darknights

On Sunday night [November 24, in Milan], Ramy Elgaml died after falling from the scooter he was riding on with a friend, pursued by the carabinieri for several kilometers.
Ramy was a 19-year-old boy who lived in Corvetto.
Since his death was announced, numerous boys and girls, his friends, have gathered on the street at the crash site, alongside his family.
Soon the pain of his death turned into anger and a thirst for truth regarding what had happened.
The night between Sunday and Monday there were moments of clashes with the police in the streets of the working-class neighborhood where he lived, where someone had started to set fire to trash bins and rubbish.
Even on Monday evening, for a few hours, normalcy came to a halt, and in its place appeared burning barricades and groups of people clashing with the police, who responded by launching numerous tear gas canisters in an attempt to disperse the crowd, which, however, did not let itself be intimidated.
Ramy’s death is probably the straw that broke the camel’s back. Those who come from the working-class neighborhoods deal with the police every day, for one reason or another. He knows the arrogance and violence of the cops and knows well what a police stop means.

And that’s how the anger grows.

At the end of Monday evening, a 21-year-old boy was arrested and taken to San Vittore while in Corvetto the anger and the melted plastic from the bins on the asphalt remain.
Ramy will live in the hearts of his family and friends, in the anger that will set the streets on fire.
Cops out of the neighborhoods.
Freedom for all.

Assago, Italy: Incendiary attack against 23 Enjoy cars and an Eni Plenitude van

Incendiary attack against 23 Enjoy cars and an Eni Plenitude van (Assago, Italy, October 31, 2024)

During the night between Wednesday 30th and Thursday 31st October in Assago, province of Milan, 23 electric cars of the Enjoy car-sharing and a van belonging to Eniplenitude, of the Eni group, were set on fire.
While the massacre in Gaza continues a year on, Eni continues to enrich itself doing big business with Israel as is shown by the acquisitions of off-shore natural gas deposits along the coasts of Gaza carried out by the Italian multinational immediately after October 7th 2023.

Pisa, Italy: Claiming responsibility for the incendiary attack on the fiber optic (2 June 2024)

Posted on 2024/07/09 by darknights

Under the cloak of darkness between the 1st and 2nd of June, we ignited a fire within a fiber optic cabinet situated in the Fontina vicinity of Pisa using rags and combustible material. Our selection of the site was deliberate, as it stands within an industrial zone in close proximity to a Carrefour hypermarket, a robotics laboratory affiliated with the Sant’Anna Institute, and the Banco di Pisa. In the tapestry of our everyday existence, the intertwining of dominance and warfare with technological advancement becomes all too evident, exemplified by the calculated decimation of the Gaza populace. Despite attempts by the media to diminish our actions by attributing the incident to mere malfunction, they reluctantly acknowledged the extensive time required for repairs. It is our intention that our actions have disrupted the operations of the aforementioned establishments, along with puncturing the veneer of celebration surrounding this hypocritical repubic.

Rome, Italy: Road block in viale Giulio Agricola, postamat ATM set on fire and Intesa Sanpaolo subsidiary damaged on 24th April [day of appeal in cassation of Anna Beniamino and Alfredo Cospito against ”Scripta Manent” sentence].

Posted on 2024/06/15 by darknights

Rome, 24th April 2024

We learn from the mass media (which from the morning have given some prominence to the event) that shortly after 4am on Wednesday April 24th, in viale Giulio Agricola in the Appio Claudio district in Rome, unknown persons had set up a road block with an improvised incendiary barricade composed of rubbish bins dragged into the roadway and set on fire. At the same time a nearby post office had been attacked: the flames, although put out in conjunction with the intervention of the police forces, had nonetheless damaged the postamat (ATM).

On the wall was written “Anna and Alfredo free”, in reference to the anarchist comrades Anna Beniamino and Alfredo Cospito for whom, the same day, the hearing was be held in the court of cassation concerning the appeal against the judgement of the Turin court of appeal that had established the sentences for the comrades in the Scripta Manent trial to 17 years and 9 months and 23 years (the court of cassation had confirmed the outcome). At the same time, still in the same area, a window of an Intesa Sanpaolo bank subsidiary was shattered. “No peace for those who live off war” was written on the wall of the bank.

Komotini, Greece: Reoccupation of Anarchist Steki Utopia A.D., book presentation event of ‘Which International?’ + Intervention by comrade Francesco Rota from Vetriolo newspaper

Posted on 2024/06/02 - 2024/06/06 by darknights

On Wednesday 29 May we reoccupied the Anarchist Steki Utopia A.D. where we held the planned event on the book presentation of the interview of the anarchist nihilist Alfredo Cospito in the anarchist Italian newspaper Vetriolo, a telephone intervention and an information from an Italian comrade about the 41BIS regime and the current situation in Italy, while a text was sent by a comrade of the newspaper Vetriolo which was translated into Greek and read at the event, followed by an update from a comrade on the new penal code and the event ended with a discussion, after some questions were asked to the Italian comrade.

In the area there were tables with texts, stickers, posters, pamphlets and books as well as a poster exhibition and a banner for the occupations. The event was attended by 20 people.

It should be noted that when we approached the site, there were about 10 people from the technical service in order to prevent the occupation and the event. Of course, they did not succeed. What we made clear to them is that not only the dean and the cops are our enemies but also any others who stand against us. The issue of the evacuation of the compound is clearly political and provocative since guards were placed in our area. The idiots in the technical department have no business getting involved in political issues.

There are no excuses that they are following orders and are afraid of being fired, nor do we care since none of the workers of the technical service bother to understand what they are asking us to understand. If they have labour problems with their bosses they can find ways of fighting their class, we will not spare any fearful minions of the enemy.

From now on anyone who comes across us will be treated as they chose to be…

Treviso, Italy: Bugs. Even at the home of the parents …

Posted on 2024/05/31 by darknights

In mid -April, in the Treviso area, a bug in the kitchen of the parents of our partner (of the Trentino anarchist environment) was accidentally found. The gadget was connected to the refrigerator power outlet, and is made up of microphone, two antennas and SIM card. In these times of social and technological control over the whole society, it is not surprising, but equally pissed off, that the special attentions reserved by cops to anarchists can also expand to all those who surround us, family members and pets understood.

And then these gentlemen say that, if we have it with them, it is for “ideological” reasons …

Italy: Demonstration following the arrests of 3 May (Genoa, 31 May 2024)

Posted on 2024/05/31 by darknights

On Friday 3 May eight people were arrested in front of Ex Latteria Occupata with the accusations of aggravated resistance and injuries and for one of the people also outraged and refusal to provide general information. Those who were there that evening is well aware how power works. He knows how absurd the reactions of the cops, complaints and requests of the public prosecutor are. Currently all the defendants have precautionary measures: seven of them have daily signatures and one signatures, the obligation to stay and the night return. A few days ago the news arrived that the prosecutor again requires prison for everything. Evidently we try to give a legal justification to a disproportionate reaction of the cops to a moment of normal anger, which can be shared by anyone every day the militarization and gentrification of this city lives, increasingly invaded by puppets in uniform. Since we do not recognize courts nor divided our answer is always the same: to go to the street and to pour our anger against those who try to suffocate every dissent and all existence that does not conform to a showcase thrown to the mass tourism & sold off by the businessmen who have recently risen.

On May 31, see you in Piazza della Commenda at 18:00 in solidarity with the arrested.

Repression: Eight anarchists arrested of Ex Latteria Occupata in Genoa

On the night between Friday and Saturday 8 people were violently arrested by the carabinieri in front of Ex Latteria Occupata (the former dairy occupation) of Stradone Sant’Agostino in Genoa with accusations that include resistance to public officials, aggravated injuries and damage. The eight arrested were transferred to two different barracks in the area, to Marassi and Pontedecimo. About twenty demonstrators gathered as a sign of solidarity towards the arrested in front of the barracks, dissolving only in the early hours of the morning.

In a press release the anarchists of the Ex Latteria Occupata write “We go down to the street alongside Ema, Anais, Edo, Paolo, Michele, Jack, Lea and Davide. Against the militarization of the cities made of both baton and taser and more totalizing forms, cameras and artificial intelligence. The same technologies they design in universities build in Leonardo, devouring resources and which we see employed on all war fronts “.
