Basel, Switzerland: Fire protection cars can also burn

Posted on 2021/07/23 by darknights

For a truck of the company Contrafeu, subsidiary of Securitas, we have made an autonomous fire appraisal in the night of 22.07.. As expected, the result was satisfactory.

Securitas participates in and profits from the surveillance, control and violence against refugees who are detained or forcibly “housed” in federal camps, asylum camps and deportation prisons such as the “Bässlergut” camp in Basel. The control and monitoring of the urban space also falls within the scope of the so-called security company. This is nothing more than prettier words for terror, sanctioning and control of people who are not or do not want to be a silent productive part of the capitalist, racist Swiss normal state.

Those who provide personnel and/or infrastructure to exercise violence and oppression need not wonder about the self-empowerment of those who do not want to accept this contempt for humanity.

In this sense:
For more beacons of solidarity!
For a world without borders and prisons!
Down with the fortress of Europe!
Greetings and solidarity to all those affected by repression and state violence.

Announcing the Counter-Surveillance Resource Center

Posted on 2021/07/22 - 2021/07/22 by darknights

Announcing the Counter-Surveillance Resource Center, an online hub for building a culture of resistance against surveillance.

Around the world, anarchists and other rebels are subject to surveillance due to our activities. Surveillance can be carried out by state institutions or other actors – for example, private investigators, fascists, mercenaries, and law-abiding citizens. Surveillance can be intended to disrupt our activities, make arrests, secure convictions or worse.

As technologies develop, some surveillance techniques stay the same, while others change to incorporate these emergent technologies. While cops still follow us in the streets and keep records about us in their archives, nowadays cameras are everywhere, drones fly overhead, and DNA forensics are sending many comrades to jail.

We felt there was a lack of collective tools to tackle these issues, so we created a website, the Counter-Surveillance Resource Center (CSRC). Our aim is to gather various resources in one place in order to help anarchists and other rebels fight the surveillance that is carried out against us. We want to encourage international collaboration, and we accept submissions in all languages.

How does one avoid leaving fingerprints and other traces during an action? How can we use computers and phones more safely? What should you do if you suspect that someone is an informant? How might one deal with the psychological consequences of clandestinity? How might one destroy cameras in the street? Is this thing you found on your car a GPS tracker? We want to answer these questions and more.

Feel free to send us submissions, translations or comments. Visit the website at: https://csrc.link

Greece, Athens: Responsibility Claim for Arson Attacks by Direct Action Cells – Cell ‘Mauricio Morales’

Posted on 2021/07/13 - 2021/07/13 by darknights

The decay and ugliness of the present is not hidden behind theoretical embellishments. Instead, it relies on the transparency of habit and the power of acquiescence. There is not the slightest reason to face the war of the increasingly authoritarian bourgeois-democratic order against those who are left over or who rebel against its multidimensional existential cheapness in search of new life perspectives. They struggle anxiously for our annihilation or our political mutilation and this is revealed by their repeated repressive moves against movement activities, against our spaces, against militants. Consciously or not, they understand that the unification of the institutions of oppression and the maintenance of the hegemony of capital implies the corresponding possible unification and strengthening of the revolutionary forces. They fear the prospect of an acute social war setting fire to the bowels of the capitalist world, as we are already seeing happening in various corners of the planet.

In order to make its counterinsurgency campaigns bear fruit, the New Democracy government is deploying archaic means of policing, referring many times to the tactics of other regimes, proving that the deeper essence of power remains unchanged throughout time. With complete callousness as regards the safeguarding of public health in times of pandemic, and with great audacity towards its political opponents, the government is channelling millions of euros directly into the pockets of the media owners, the logistical upgrading of the police and businessmen in its entourage. Without any concern for even an apparent social cohesion, the rulers, immersed in the impunity offered by their power, are creating a pervasive condition where the parts of the social base are moving in a direction of mutual conflict. They respond to their incompetence and contradictions by sharpening their biopolitics, with ever more totalitarian means of control and repression: Unveiled and well-funded media propaganda, bans on demonstrations and the crushing of those who claim the streets, upgrading the role of the police, enriching the repressive means and methodologies, curtailing individual freedoms, dismantling labour rights and directly attacking the income of the working class, confiscating first homes, spreading nationalist rants, imposition of silence or disinformation around the countless scandals (Novartis, Noor 1, tele-infiltration, Petsas list)*, silencing of anti-establishment voices, passing of anti-labour, anti-environmental and anti-education bills, separation of citizens into vaccinated and non-vaccinated, extreme devaluation and invisibility of prisoners, immigrants and the homeless, i.e. the people who are surplus to requirements for the functioning of the social machine.

Through the intensity of state propaganda, through the news, the government and the Greek police speak directly, the bourgeois interests speak directly. Every day they shamelessly throw up government propaganda, paving the way for the gradual invasion of surveillance and repression into every aspect of our existence. They are daily plotting our death in the vomitous television screens. The fight against the fear imposed by the rulers, the necessity to organize revolutionary violence in the present through Direct Action Cells striking at state and capitalist interests, is a small first step. France: We’re being watched: poke their eyes out

Posted on 2021/07/07 by darknights

A guide to putting Toulouse’s cameras into early retirement.

This guide only deals with methods of destroying camera cabling. To destroy the camera itself you have to knock down the mast or climb to the top to break the camera, this requires heavy and cumbersome equipment (disk cutter, ladder …) and  is therefore another story.

 1 – Scouting

The location:

Movement of people and vehicles, cameras (public or private) with a view of the targeted camera, nearby cops/vigilantes/etc.

What the camera is attached to:

On a wall, on a mast, the type of mast (old style light grey or dark grey and smooth for the new ones).

Cabling:

Cabling outside the mast, protected by a simple sheath (flexible or rigid), cabling inside the mast.

The fixing of the trap door (in the case of wiring inside the mast):

Allen type screws, triangle type screws, hatch doubled (or not) by metal clamps.

2 – Preparation

The route:

Ideally, don’t take the same route on the way there and on the way back, plan routes that avoid as many cameras as possible (especially on the way back) thanks to the website toulouse sous surveillance (https://toulouse.sous-surveillance.net/), depending on the number of people present for the action and the layout of the place, plan small roadblocks to slow down the cops.

Be careful, scouting on the internet is good, scouting in real life is better. Google street photos are often several years old, and on the website toulouse sous surveillance some cameras may be missing.

Clothes:

For the action, wear gloves, something to mask your face (but really well because their cameras are full HD), disposable clothes (black and without distinctive markings). Then “normal” clothes under the disposables, and discreet shoes (important because it’s not practical to change them).

Mobile phones:

NO MOBILE PHONES. Or at the very least turn them off, but several kilometres before arriving at the site because downtown there are telephone antennas everywhere, you can see them here (https://www.antennesmobiles.fr/). Continue reading “France: We’re being watched: poke their eyes out” →

Genoa, Italy – Itinerant Gathering Against Special Surveillance

Posted on 2021/06/25 - 2021/06/25 by darknights

From: Inferno Urbano Via & Translated by Act For Freedom Now!

GATHERING AGAINST SPECIAL SURVEILLANCE

From the struggles against the devastation and plundering of the earth to the struggles against borders that divide people and split up the world, from the antimilitarist struggle against the massacres of war and arms trafficking to the struggle of those who fight against work exploitation… The enemy is always the same: power, neo-liberal domination, the capitalist system that grabs everything for the privileges of the few to the detriment of the many.

For power those who rebel become dangerous individuals to be monitored. Repression transforms affinity between people into terrorist cells and subversive associations. Our response to these attacks is self-organization and carrying on the struggle in spite of the repression.

Hamburg: Attack upon Eurocommand in solidarity with Rigaer94

Posted on 2021/06/23 - 2021/06/23 by darknights

When people from Rigaer94 are fighting for their self-managed spaces in Berlin these days and compas are defending themselves against red zones, we focus on the pomp of surveillance as a sign of solidarity.

In the early morning of June 21, we attacked with stones the company Eurocommand, in the district of Halstenbek, Hamburg.
Eurocommand develops, among other things, surveillance software. One of their software programs was already used in 2017, during the G20, for the coordination of the cops’ interventions.

Against authority and oppression!
Let’s defend Rigaer94!

Solidarity greetings to Lina*!

* Attaque note: Antifa from Leipzig arrested in November 2020, with the endless charge of “criminal association”.
