“We have inherited many great ideas about how to confront domination, we know that nothing is set in stone. From the bones and broken tools of our predecessors we make our weapons. Nothing is guaranteed to work, but we attack regardless” (Müller).
Throughout history we have witnessed how techno-industrial progress has reinforced social control, securing every gear for its perverse reproduction. Capital and the state speak no other language than that of property, commodity, production and profit, and is willing to devastate everything in its path if it implies the perpetuation of its power through citizen-civilized servitude. The interconnection of the metropolis is possible, in part, thanks to the means of transportation throughout the cities. These means, more than a “service”, are the main tools for the transportation of goods within the cities. Yes, when we speak of merchandise we are also referring to humans, since in the empire of the market, all existence is reduced to the quantification of capital.
Without magic recipes or manuals written in stone, we experienced anarchy to the rhythm of the frontal and direct attack against the domain. On this occasion, we deposited an incendiary/explosive device inside a RED bus, which failed to detonate and was found inside a bus terminal. We were not discouraged by the outcome. We analyzed the technical errors, studied the causes and continued on the path of attack, seeking to be more and more dangerous and imperceptible. We know that anarchic warfare is not reduced to relations of material force against the enemy, much less to technical operation capabilities. For this reason, we decided to proudly claim this action, since we think that reducing anti-systemic actions to the result (successful or not) of these, is typical of an exitist paradigm that would only lead us, inevitably, to a militaristic understanding of anti-systemic praxis. Our methods and practices are deployed from informality and individual freedom, this as an antibody against any authoritarian attempt to direct our destructive power; be it “leader”, ” manager”, “collective” or any name that assumes dominance in our relationships.
This action is framed within what is another Black November in memory of comrade Kevin Garrido, murdered on November 2, 2018 in the prison-company Santiago 1. The indomitable and chaotic spirit of the comrade is present in this insurgent attempt against the civilizing domestication that imprisons all of us who cannot stand this horrible and caged world.
A fraternal and complicit embrace to our affinities and comrades. To those who for their audacity and insolence expect to be locked up with exemplary sentences and who have not been victimized or bowed down after their conscious and consistent actions. The Fire Cells Conspiracy revolutionary organization didn’t begin its activity from out of nowhere. It wasn’t as if a straight line had cut through space and time. It was a future crying out from the past. The Conspiracy comprised a collective synthesis, connecting the backgrounds and viewpoints of all who participated in it and drawing valuable conclusions from past experiences of subversive projects and attacks we took part in.
It represented our desire to take a step further, not to climb some ladder of informal hierarchy that fetishizes violence and its methods, but to simply advance, move forward, and explore new perspectives, making the shift from a “bunch of friends” to an organization, from the sporadic to the consistent, from the spontaneous to the strategic.
Along the way, we assumed a critical stance toward the past, but we never went out of our way to be hostile. We are anarchy’s misfits, born from its potent moments and gaping voids. Additionally, the goal of critique and self-critique is not to put an end to something, but just the opposite: it’s an aspiration to evolve something. The fact that we’re not going to elaborate a corresponding critical review right now doesn’t mean we’re afraid to recognize our mistakes. Rather, it’s because that kind of examination is better served by distance and cool nerves than by impulse.
During no phase of our brief, intense history did we lose our collective memory of the anarchist milieu we come from. We also feel we discovered something we have in common with comrades who began the struggle before us, engaged in their own battles, were arrested and imprisoned, but never lowered their heads. We discovered the unrepentant passion for revolution that connects histories and realities of struggle from different decades in a shared context of individual and collective liberation.
In that context, we forged our own alphabet. Speaking the language of direct action, we openly raised the issue of creating organized infrastructure. As anarchists, we often distance ourselves from the concept of organization because we equate it with hierarchy, roles, specialization, “you must,” and obligations. On November 3, 2022, we are detained by the BIPE in different territories, our houses are raided, accusing us of arson in an inhabited place, with danger to people. Due to the fire that affected the Susaron branch on September 19, 2022, resulting in the burning of its sales room, refrigerators and trucks, causing millions of dollars in damages.
On November 4, we went to detention control, where we were charged with the crime of arson and possession of ammunition, the butcher shop and the Public Prosecutor’s Office filed a complaint.
We were remanded in custody for 70 days while the investigation lasted.
Time that has been extended by the prosecutor until today, almost 7 months, due to the seriousness of the crime and the penalty that this deserves according to the penal code, which is around 15 to 20 years.
In these long months, we have gone through various emotions and feelings. Confronting the reality of every prisoner, facing the blow that prison generates in your habits and close circle. Keeping indeclinably the conviction and courage that led us to these cages. Living in our own flesh what millions of animals around the world live. A forced and arbitrary captivity. Violence and aggression. Based on the decision of a judge. In their case; the judge is the accepted human logic that sees them as things or inferior.
We do not regret our ideas and the steps that lead us to our becoming.
There is no wall, gendarme or bar, that makes us stop sustaining that animal liberation is a fundamental pillar of any anarchic or libertarian conception. And that in that glow, the active hands of those who embrace the idea against authority are primordial.
Yesterday, today and tomorrow. We are still at war!

We greet the 150th day of our brother and comrade Alfredo Cospito’s hunger strike by giving ourselves the joy of attacking with fire the infrastructure of the Italian state, specifically we set fire to 16 cars owned by Poste Italiane.
Proud to join the campaign of revenge, against the abomination of 41 bis, the hostile life sentence and Alfredo’s death sentence launched against the Italian state, we choose to respond with this attack to the internationalist call to action in solidarity with Marcelo Villarroel 15 years after his arrest and in the context of the permanent campaign for his release proposed by comrades:

Against an existent that oppresses us on a daily basis and so that the impetus given to us by the hunger strike of anarchist comrade Alfredo Cospito does not fade, we declare a permanent emergency (which gives us the urgency of our short lives) regardless of the outcome of the struggle our comrade has undertaken.

Some days ago, during a cold night in the forest, we went for have fun and attack. We had a lot of rage against those who are killing non human animals near the forest, perpetrating the human supremacy. So we went to destroy their fuckin structures, 4 of them. Just a pair of saws were enough to cut them and throw them to the ground. In one of the towers, we found food for non humans (they use it for attract them and kill them) so we took it and spread it in a place far from it in the middle of the forest.
In our minds were the prisoners of the Susaron case in Chile, anarconihilists and antispeciesists, accused of the arson of a meat packaging plant. We claim this action in solidarity with them.

On that 22nd day, the official press published our faces as a trophy, making a spectacle of us. And as usual, condemning in advance all those who decide to rebel against this world of control and punishment.
Those who dictate and control our confinement do not take into account the anarchist solidarity, solidarity that approves of walls and confinement, of bullets and shackles. Solidarity that we could feel from the first moment we arrived at the module where I am. We were received with full and fraternal hands by the comrades charged in the Susaron case.
In these lines I want to thank all those who have been concerned about us: The family, my compañeros, friends, anonimxs and those who share the ideas that overflow my heart and individual thinking. In these three years I was faced with choices which led me by the hand through a path fraught with crossroads and bifurcations.
Like on a minefield, I had to decide carefully where to step, with my pride and my self-respect at stake. The first choice I had to face with was whether I should continue to contribute, or let the prison overflow me, patiently waiting to get out. As limited as my situation is, I chose to continue to contribute through the written word. Once I made this decision I faced another crossroad: whether to confine myself — ecumenically — from this “high point” of my “status” (sic.) of a “revolutionary” prisoner — to bestowing blessings in each directions, applauding to every anarchist practice, paying attention not to make any enemies; or to use the weapon of critique, ever more harshly, trying to outline some analysis, to open some discourses. I chose the easier way (at least for me): openly push my critique to the extremes, at the cost of isolation (less letters, less information, less generic solidarity).
But always aware of the abyss between the thought and the action.
Words, strong as they may be, always carry something that sounds phony, even when they pose real, concrete risks, which may effectuate in years of prison for apology or incitement.
In “my” cell, the words I listen to most carefully are those that follow the actions, those which become flash and blood. They are alive, real, there’s no mistaking. They differ from the continuous blabbering in the background of an anarchist movement withdrawn in itself, affected by an embarrassing lack of courage and fantasy. A movement that feeds on appearance, on rhetoric and sometimes on demagogy, with its demonstrations, assemblies, communicative marches, campaigns of information and on rooting in a territory, a continuous blah blah. You don’t have to support claims of responsibility, but you know for sure they are honest because they are products of an action, because they’re written by really taking part in the game, putting one’s life in danger. In these times of virtual reality it is no small thing, and when then these claims talk to each other becoming campaigns of action, the background noise, the blabbering, definitely disappears, and everything gets more serious, more dangerous, more real. A political trial against 20 years of the history of revolutionary anarchism
The events:
At dawn on 6 September 2016, 32 comrades throughout the Italian State were awakened by the civil police (DIGOS). The result of the first part of the police operation called “Scripta Manent”, ordered by the Turin Public Prosecutor’s Office through its investigator Roberto Maria Sparagna, is 15 suspects and 7 arrests. On the other hand, an eighth anarchist, in charge of the Anarchist Black Cross publishing project (now closed), is arrested after a house search against him in which batteries and an electrician’s manual were found. In addition to comrades Alfredo Cospito and Nicola Gai, already in prison since 2012 having been tried and convicted for the injury of Roberto Adinolfi, (CEO of Ansaldo Nucleare) action taken by “Nucleo Olga of FAI/FRI”, comrades Alessandro, Marco, Danilo, Valentina and Anna are arrested. For the comrades, articles 270 bis (on association with terrorist purposes), 280 bis (on terrorist acts with lethal or explosive devices) and 285 (on massacre) are triggered for various reasons, which are in question starting from as far back as 2003 and all relating to a series of attacks specifically signed by the “Informal Anarchist Federation” through the cells FAI/Narodnaya Volya (FAI/ People’s Will), “Cooperativa Artigiana Fuoco e Affini FAI/Collaboration of Fire and Artifacts (Occasionally Spectacular))”, “FAI/RAT ((Rivolta Anonima e Tremenda/Federazione Anarchica Informale – Anonymous and Tremendous Revolt/Informal Anarchist Federation)” and “Nucleo Olga FAI/FRI” (FAI/IRF Cell Olga).
Thus, there is the umpteenth investigation of the Informal Anarchist Federation, another attempt to fish in the darkness just to secure a salary, which between the period of investigation and trial, makes as many servants of the State as possible fatten their pockets. During the first months of this operation, the arrested comrades have been subjected to bans on meeting each other, censorship of correspondence, complete isolation and several transfers. In April 2017, the announcement of the closure of the investigation – for those arrested and under investigation in September 2016 – added, in addition to the crimes previously contested, to 12 of the 17 original accused to Article 414 of the Criminal Code (on incitement to commit a criminal act with terrorist purposes) as authors and/or distributors of the work of the Anarchist Black Cross, the newspaper and the blog, making explicit reference to certain opinion articles and other articles from No. 0 to No. 3. With regard to the offence of incitement to crime, the aggravating circumstance of “committing the act by means of computer and telematic tools” is also mentioned. 9 years later, more present than ever! From this time capsule called prison, we remember that afternoon of December 11, when we learned that an animal of our race dared to bite with the joy of very few. And that in his daring the armed tamer who guarded that symbolic institution of power, responded as what he is.
An enemy to the death. Like any uniformed man.
We do not victimize you, savage warrior, wherever your serene gaze may be. We smile knowing the pleasure that shook your heart at the door of that beautiful confrontation with the suffocating reality, with your submachine gun as one more part of your determined and agitated being.
We celebrate your impetus and embrace your example of life. Not as a metaphor or anecdote. But as a daily path and choice.
You are not and were not a hero, you would hate to have seen yourself that way.
But you are a reference of how to counteract the inactive death, of the idea of the duel to death with the existent and its false critics. That many use as a slogan and few embrace until they burn.
