Gap [Hautes Alpes], France: About an attack on a vaccination centre

Posted on 2021/08/09 by darknights

Gap. City centre. Night of the 1st to the 2nd of June 2021. Individuals break down a door at the back of a theatre converted into a vaccination centre. The door is easily broken open and they find themselves in a long corridor, which leads from the left to other rooms. A door on the right is not locked, it opens on a large room, where presumably vaccinations take place. Hastily, piles are made with the furniture that is present. Bottles of alcoholic gel are added to the petrol. A flick of the lighter, the whole thing catches fire, and the silhouettes disappear into the night. The whole thing lasted only a few minutes, enough to destroy a good part of the building.

It was a rather symbolic act, since another centre opened the same day, and according to what we know from the press, the attack of the same kind in Nyons [Haut de France] a few weeks earlier only caused a slight delay in the opening, which was quickly resolved. This shows the need to look for the heart of the monster rather than attacking all its tentacles, but let’s move on.

Having in mind that this act would be above all symbolic, we also wanted it to provoke debate. We are therefore surprised by the silence of anarchist blogs and magazines on the subject of this night and the previous one (as well as the most recent ones, since the government’s announcement on the extension of the health pass, the acts of destruction of vaccination centres are multiplying, and they are not all accompanied by signs suggesting that they emanate from reactionary or far-right circles).

Is it inconceivable that anarchists could have attacked anti-covid vaccination centres? Could it be that they did not want to risk being lumped in with the not always very nice, or even frankly problematic, critics who have gained in strength with the arrival of the pandemic? Could it be that no one was aware of these attacks, or that the target seemed inappropriate? However, at the time of the sanitary pass, and at the moment when the initially recalcitrant part of the population ends up changing its mind (to present it to the nurse…), in front of the pressure of the government and because it will be impossible to maintain a “normal” life without it, attacking the good progress of the vaccination campaign seems most relevant for those who refuse to accept the forward march of the world. It is a pity that these acts did not get the echo they deserve. So here is a text that hopes to make up for this silence, clarify a few points, and make room for debate. Chile: Attacks in Mapuche areas continue to grow

Posted on 2021/08/06 - 2021/08/06 by darknights

On Friday 9 July in Carahue, a 29-year-old former anthropology student who had joined the Mapuche struggle through CAM (Coordinadora Arauco Malleco), Pablo Marchant, was murdered by a carabiniere with a bullet to the head during an attack on vehicles belonging to the Forestal Mininco forestry company. Far from seeking justice from the murderous state, various radical Mapuche groups from different regions (Biobío, La Araucanía and Los Ríos) immediately set out to keep the ideas of ‘Toño’ alive by attacking companies that exploit water or the forest. In less than a week, the authorities had already counted 44 road blockades, 22 gun attacks on carabinieri patrols or security guards, and 11 arson attacks that had destroyed 39 vehicles (trucks and forestry construction equipment).

Today, 1 August, a little less than a month later, all those who had hoped to reduce these vengeful attacks to an inevitable temporary flare-up of rage and anger for a few days were given a cold shower by the traditional official assessment of the Ministry of the Interior. Not only did the Ministry of the Interior report a 94% increase in “violent acts” in the Mapuche zone (Macrozona Sur) in the first half of 2021, but it also counted more than 150 “attacks” following the murder of Pablo Marchant.

Here is the continuation of our chronological overview of the sabotage carried out against companies in the region, which has destroyed an additional 50 pieces of forestry equipment in the last two weeks…

Río Negro, 18 July: three of the seven forestry machines set on fire

Los Lagos region

On the night of 18 July at around 3am in the municipality of Río Negro (Osorno region), a double attack took place which left 7 construction machines and 1 pick-up in ashes. The first attack took place on the El Mirador estate belonging to the Arauco forestry company, and the second on the Popóen estate belonging to the Huempeleo forestry company (1). Athens,Greece: Responsibility claim for arson attacks on 2 stores by Proletarian Cell

Posted on 2021/08/01 by darknights

We take responsibility for the arson attacks on 2 stores owned by the General Secretariat for Civil Protection and Crisis Management, Nikos Hardalias, in vuronas area , as well as in the house of the Vice President of Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator ΔΕΔΔΗΕ.

CAPITALISTIC RESTRUCTURING AGAINST THE HEALTH CRISIS

The government of N.D. , strategically choosing the repressive management of the pandemic, has launched a violent class and social attack on youth and the world of work, which aims at the collapse of rights and conquests, but also the wider restructuring of the capitalist state.

In a time of global capitalist and health crisis, the government has created a bleak environment of insecurity and fear. Like all previous governments it tried to abdicate its criminal responsibilities for dismantling the public health system, leaving them to the “individual responsibility” of each and every one.

But really, who is responsible for the thousands of dead in the pandemic? Who is responsible for the non-existent protection measures in the workplace? When were measures taken or large industries closed? Who is responsible for stacking the poor on public transport? Who is responsible for the fact that private ICU beds were not ordered, at the same time as our fellow human beings were dying on trollies in the hospital corridors? Who has been served by the government’s policy of opening borders to tourists, if not the tourist lobbies? Who is responsible for the sharp rise in drugs and psychotropic drugs, as well as domestic violence during the lockdown period? What politics is sinking more and more people into dependencies, unable to cope with the daily deadlocks of capitalist everyday life?

Even during the period of hard lockdown, the government, instead of giving funds for the staffing of the public health system, preferred to give huge sums to rulers to reproduce the dominant propaganda, as well as equipment to the police and the NATO imperialist mechanism. At Chrysochoidis’ (Minister for Citizen Protection of Greece ) command, thousands of recruits were made and hundreds of vehicles, motorbikes, armour, technological equipment were purchased, in order to strengthen the mastiffs of capital and its state, in the logic of precautionary counter-insurgency and social-class resistance.

This repressive management is made clear both by the bans and arrests made in the mobilisations of November 17 and December 6, and by the extreme repressive attack on the demonstrations for the hunger strike of the political prisoner D. Koufontinas, the repression of the student occupations in Athens and Thessaloniki, the beating and torture of militants, the criminalization of political action through the banning of demonstrations, the imposition of fines and the creation of a misdemeanor for the dispersal of COVID-19. Athens, Greece: Responsibility claim for the arson attack on the house of Giannis Pretenteris by Direct Action Cells – Insurgent Violence Cell

Posted on 2021/08/01 - 2021/08/02 by darknights

Within the framework of the Direct Action Cells, as a Cell of Insurgent Violence, we take responsibility for the arson attack at the entrance of the house of Giannis Pretenteris.

We were not surprised by the condemnations of the bourgeois political parties, the ESIEA (Athens Daily Newspaper Editors’ Union), the government representative. Giannis Pretenteris has proved on every possible occasion that he is the most loyal watchdog of the corrupt economic and political elite that has been ruling this country with arrogance and impunity for all these years. Pretenderis symbolises a person – a role model for the bourgeois world. His position in the system, the posts and the tasks he has been called upon to carry out follow a double path that ends up on the same road.

The first one that makes his appearance in front of the cameras of the television channels. Fancy, dominant, powerful, subsidized, manufactured. Pretenteris is a shining example of a tireless propaganda machine called upon to represent state and capitalist interests and to shape a social ethic, the ethic of the system. This morality that always presents itself in the imperious guise of the social majority, in order to strike with the stick of the dominant class violence and to order with impudence – using techniques of psychological warfare – those who harm the interests of the powerful. Spreading fake news, constant attempts to manipulate citizens, slander, character assassination are on his daily agenda. At the same time, its ideological profile, which can be described as “modernist” in the standards of the hard neoliberal centre, is the official television representation of political power and the most unscrupulous economic interests. For Pretenteris there is one unbreakable rule: Whatever suits and serves the power system that supports him is ethical and legal. Whatever threatens its interests is illegal and arbitrary.

Pretenteris’ other path is dark. It is that of shady dealings with political and economic interests, of willing brokering all kinds of state and parastatal dirty tricks, of well-paid under-the-table deals on where to provide his required political support. It is the route of a loyal courtier who has pitched his tent outside the villas of the big business tycoons, the media owners, the contractors, the big political families, waiting with excessive servility for their dictates. The route of black money, offshore, extensive tax evasion, the mafia-like operations of the system that are laundered with no compensation by appointed journalists like Pretenderis.

Giannis Pretenteris, as a stooge of Lambrakis and Bobolas, made his first appearances on private television, on ANT1. He was one of the first to give voice and political legitimacy to the nazis of Golden Dawn in the 1990s, calling out Nikos Michaloliakos and giving the floor to Periandros Andritsopoulos and other henchmen of the then Golden Dawn to drip their Neo-Nazi poison in public. After all, when it serves state planning, bourgeois democracy reproduces its version of political pluralism and tolerance. Of course, as long as the opposing voice has given credentials of allegiance to the state and the capitalists that the deep core of their interests will remain untouched.

Giannis Pretenteris quickly jumps to MEGA1, while writing for the then Lambrakis-owned print press (VIMA, NEA2). He becomes a key commentator on the main newscast and has his own political show. His tireless insistence on the ideological and political defence of every act of state violence, every economic and political scandal, turns him and his show into a slogan shouted in the streets of the cities by the student movement fighting against the then Diamantopoulou law3 – framework: “Subversion is not a show, Pretraderis die to make a celebration”. Pretenteris had deservedly earned the dislike of those involved in social – political demands, as everyone was ground down by his propaganda millstone.

Alongside his daily defence of the memoranda and the policies being pursued in that period, he was again one of the first to give a television voice to the racist “residents’ committees”4, so that the racist poison found a response in the armies of the newly deprived of the crisis. We are sure that in May 2012 Pretenteris was looking at the election results with pride. He had contributed the most to the 7% of Golden Dawn, as the shipowner who now has him on his pay roll at IOM (International Organisation for Migration) also wished. Paris: Enedis van on fire

Posted on 2021/07/22 - 2021/07/22 by darknights

Enemies of the authority feel more and more the need to attack the electricity distribution network, an indispensable part of this society.

The power stations are difficult to reach (for the time being. But maybe in the future…) but recently there have been nice attempts to sabotage power stations.

It is the whole empire of EDF, based on nuclear power (70% of the electricity produced in France comes from nuclear power plants) that should be hit continuously, everywhere.

As a small contribution to the fight against this cold monster that fills its pocket by providing energy to this company that enslaves us we made a small surprise to one of the companies of the EDF group.

During the night of July 17th to 18th we set fire to a van of Enedis, rue des Pyrénées, behind Père Lachaise.

You can find them everywhere, burning them is easy!

A thought for all the people who fight against the authority, the exploitation and the devastation of the nature.

without faith nor law, nor Pass

PS: about the fight against nuclear power our thoughts go to Alfredo, Italian anarchist prisoner: happy birthday!

Greece, Athens: Responsibility Claim for Arson Attacks by Direct Action Cells – Cell ‘Mauricio Morales’

Posted on 2021/07/13 - 2021/07/13 by darknights

The decay and ugliness of the present is not hidden behind theoretical embellishments. Instead, it relies on the transparency of habit and the power of acquiescence. There is not the slightest reason to face the war of the increasingly authoritarian bourgeois-democratic order against those who are left over or who rebel against its multidimensional existential cheapness in search of new life perspectives. They struggle anxiously for our annihilation or our political mutilation and this is revealed by their repeated repressive moves against movement activities, against our spaces, against militants. Consciously or not, they understand that the unification of the institutions of oppression and the maintenance of the hegemony of capital implies the corresponding possible unification and strengthening of the revolutionary forces. They fear the prospect of an acute social war setting fire to the bowels of the capitalist world, as we are already seeing happening in various corners of the planet.

In order to make its counterinsurgency campaigns bear fruit, the New Democracy government is deploying archaic means of policing, referring many times to the tactics of other regimes, proving that the deeper essence of power remains unchanged throughout time. With complete callousness as regards the safeguarding of public health in times of pandemic, and with great audacity towards its political opponents, the government is channelling millions of euros directly into the pockets of the media owners, the logistical upgrading of the police and businessmen in its entourage. Without any concern for even an apparent social cohesion, the rulers, immersed in the impunity offered by their power, are creating a pervasive condition where the parts of the social base are moving in a direction of mutual conflict. They respond to their incompetence and contradictions by sharpening their biopolitics, with ever more totalitarian means of control and repression: Unveiled and well-funded media propaganda, bans on demonstrations and the crushing of those who claim the streets, upgrading the role of the police, enriching the repressive means and methodologies, curtailing individual freedoms, dismantling labour rights and directly attacking the income of the working class, confiscating first homes, spreading nationalist rants, imposition of silence or disinformation around the countless scandals (Novartis, Noor 1, tele-infiltration, Petsas list)*, silencing of anti-establishment voices, passing of anti-labour, anti-environmental and anti-education bills, separation of citizens into vaccinated and non-vaccinated, extreme devaluation and invisibility of prisoners, immigrants and the homeless, i.e. the people who are surplus to requirements for the functioning of the social machine.

Through the intensity of state propaganda, through the news, the government and the Greek police speak directly, the bourgeois interests speak directly. Every day they shamelessly throw up government propaganda, paving the way for the gradual invasion of surveillance and repression into every aspect of our existence. They are daily plotting our death in the vomitous television screens. The fight against the fear imposed by the rulers, the necessity to organize revolutionary violence in the present through Direct Action Cells striking at state and capitalist interests, is a small first step. Thessaloniki, Greece – Explosive attacks against employer violence and class exploitation by Anarchist Action Organisation

Posted on 2021/07/04 - 2021/07/07 by darknights

Defeat is not loss, nor is it death. Defeat is acceptance. It is the oblivion of the dead of the class war. It is the bloodless surrender of collective history to the dustbin of oblivion. Defeat is assignment and messianism. Prolonging the battle, truce and compromise to a life below the class necessities and circumstances of the times. Defeat is not to give one’s life and freedom for the struggle, but to live deadened by the lack of social solidarity and class consciousness. To look to save your own skin when the person next to you is losing his steps, being left behind, dying. The times we live in are characterised by a profoundly dystopian condition, where everything seems predetermined. It is a time of dilemmas and great decisions. In the face of this dark period, it is our revolutionary duty to light the way with the hope of overthrow. To believe in our powers, to justify the loss of those who believed in them and are no longer with us. That is the stakes today: to keep alive the flame of subversion, the flame of insurrection until it becomes a fiery revolutionary conflagration. To be the link between the struggles of yesterday and tomorrow. For this land will only be cleansed by fire. Only with revolution.

The concerted attack of the state and the bosses on the ranks of the exploited social base leaves behind dozens of dead every day in the sweatshops of wage slavery. The barbarism in this society is the normalization and acceptance of the death of the proletarian base for the profits of the employers. A condition which is enshrined through class blackmail and methodical intensity of exploitation by the bosses. And it is not only the pervasive lack of determination and social solidarity that prevails in the ranks of the exploited. It is the very need for survival that narrows the thought of assertion and negotiation in the face of collective doom. It is the steady work of the employers’ trade unionism of the GSEE and the reformist left to jointly deconstruct the class barriers and degenerate the workers’ struggle. Abuse workers’ rights, assimilate and manipulate the radical aberrations of the workers’ struggle. To bury any attempt to overcome class exploitation, opening an unbridgeable gap between representative protest and collective resistance and subversion. And while the list of the dead of our class grows longer, avenging their loss is a matter for fewer and fewer of us. But class duty remains unabated.

Our daily life is drenched in blood. A dead construction worker, a dead supermarket worker. A work accident at a power station, in the sweatshops of the multinationals. And the proletarian rank and file, spectators to their loss and with tears in their eyes, bow their heads in resignation to life. The responsibility is suffocating us more and more every day. For all those whose names history will not record, for all those whose lives were sacrificed for the great interests, for the great overcoming of the crisis of neoliberalism. For all of them we are still here to fight every day. So that they are not forgotten. For their loss not to become mere statistics and numbers on analysts’ lists. For all of them we are here to fight our daily battles, with our small forces. Because the losses on the field of class warfare do not bear any more tears but are a cry for new hostilities.

Every dead worker is a bullet in the chamber of class revenge.

Bremen, Germany: Riot Police Station Set Alight: When Cops Murder, Everything Must Burn

Posted on 2021/06/14 by darknights

Our feeling screams for revenge. Revenge for Qosay Sadam Khalaf. But what retribution is appropriate for the murder of a young person? How many cop vehicles and guards must burn?

It cannot succeed.

We act anyway.

On the night of June 6, 2021, three months after the police murder of Qosay K., we set fire to the premises of the riot police in Bremen. A coach and three other vehicles of the cops burned to ashes and scrap. It hit the equipment of those pigs who are sent to the city to enforce repression. In so many moments we face the riot cops with hatred and powerlessness.

The sabotage is a dignified attack against the superior enemy.

The cops reap our hatred because they maintain the conditions. Every structure of inequality is defended by police violence. The racist practice of residence permits and deportations. The simultaneity of luxury housing and homelessness. The order of the economy according to competition and profit. The harsher the social contradictions, the more brutally they are protected by the cops. The police are the most loyal friend of the wealthy in a world characterized by poverty and exploitation.

The cops harvest our hatred because they embody the conditions. They wear the uniform by choice. They develop pleasure in abuse of power and humiliation. They find realization in the legal orgy of violence. They command. They obey. They murder.

The outcry from media and rulers was to be expected. The silence after the murders of Qosay K. and Mohamed Idrissi booms all the more clearly in the aftermath. When Mäurer rants in the media about an attack on “our” security, we wonder whose security can be meant? What kind of security is it if it is not clear whether people survive a drug check or an apartment inspection? No, this is not “our” security. This can only mean the security of the rulers.

Anger against the cops grows with every control, every harassment, every blow and every murder. From anger resistance can grow. May the stones hit their target and the fires light our nights.

Qosay Sadam Khalaf – that was murder!
