Hamas are not an organisation of ‘Islamic extremists’ comparable to the fascism of Islamic State/ Daesh, they are a national liberation struggle organisation. This feeds into the narrative of the Western powers ‘War on Terror’ that the Israeli fascist state proxy has adopted. To not even engage with the justified resistance of the Palestinians against the imperialist genocide is to ignore the existence of the Palestinians themselves, an existence of resistance in the biggest open air and technologically advanced surveillance prison on this planet. Along with the ever present death from above, from the bullets of Israeli Defence Forces and the settler scum, we are witnessing the extermination of a people live streamed, live feeded, on social media and on smart phones!

The Zionist atrocity of the Israeli occupation forces and the Western allies is growing day by day. Invoking the provocative narrative of the rules of war, they baptize entire migrant camps, hospitals, churches, playgrounds and entire urban centres as Hamas bases and operational centres in order to legitimize the exemplary massacre of the Palestinian resistance for communication purposes. Israel’s war crimes are officially underwritten by the North Atlantic Alliance, with bilateral military support and the legitimisation of Israeli interventions by Western media propaganda. The Western narrative cuts off the practical popular resistance of dozens of Palestinian organizations from the Palestinian right to self-determination and independence, wanting to criminalize and drown in blood any attempt at liberation defined by the popular base, moving outside and against the imperialist Western centers.

Since the dawn of Saturday 7 October and the realisation of Operation “Al Aqsa Storm” on the Israeli military bases outside the Gaza Strip, we have witnessed a historic breakthrough. Decades of armed popular resistance by Palestinian fighters is verging on an impending victory for the twin goals of liberation and self-determination. A victory of the armed struggle against Zionism and imperialism. It is our responsibility, our duty, but above all our political choice whether to be spectators of these events or to make a decisive contribution as a real and existing part of the internationalist front in defence of the liberation struggle everywhere.

This juncture can and must become the contemporary reference point for the combative construction of the international anti-imperialist front, constituted by revolutionary initiatives that will speak with action – will speak the language of fire. It is today that the strategic experience of the internationalist comrades and the experiences of those who wrote history in blood and gunpowder must become a common ground and source of inspiration for the necessary revolutionary initiatives. Following the righteous counter-attack of the Palestinian Resistance on 7/10/23- named the Al-Aqsa flood, the terrorist state of Israel has launched a widespread operation of ethnic cleansing, intensifying the 75-year process of annihilation and displacement of the Palestinian people from their lands. It is deliberately bombing homes, hospitals, schools, water and electricity networks, and banning all food, water and medicine, condemning the people of Gaza to certain death.

The time-honoured and current crimes of the Zionist colonial entity could not have been carried out without the political, economic and military support of the ‘western’ bloc. As a part of this bloc, the Greek state is leading the way in supporting the murderous state of Israel with joint military exercises, with the upgrading of the Souda base and with the conversion of the 112th Battle Wing in Elefsina into a NATO base, and politically it is reflected in the meeting between Mitsotakis and Netanyahu.

Apart from cooperation at the political and military level, there is also cooperation at the economic level, with Israeli capital investing in various sectors, with one of the main pillars being the real estate and tourism sectors. The result of these hits our pockets directly, pushing up housing costs, changing the character of entire neighbourhoods and turning them into tourist attractions.

In addition to the mass, militant marches in support of the Palestinian Resistance, we must block the Greek-Israeli alliance by targeting Israeli capital in Greece. Connecting the protagonists of the Polytechnic uprising with those of the Palestinian Resistance, we chose on November 17 to express our solidarity with the people of Gaza by attacking the facade of the Israeli-owned NYX Esperia Hotel on Stadiou Street.

Swiss neutrality does not exist

Switzerland, which regards itself as neutral so it can maintain its privileged role as the world’s financial hub, actually bears a lot of responsibility for many wars around the world. The Swiss arms industry exports weapons everywhere, even to countries where there are armed conflicts. Lately it has even relocated some manufacturing facilities abroad so as to circumvent laws that would “ban” arms exports to countries at war, for example to Ukraine, aligning itself fully with NATO’s warmongering interventionist rhetoric.

Switzerland’s role as a financial marketplace and leading commodity trader makes this state a major player in the devastation of the planet and the plundering of the resources of countries in the global south, fueling conflicts and forcing people to leave their countries of origin. Not content with sowing misery all over the world, it prides itself with “defending” its borders against the migration “threat,” with its military guarding the borders and civil defense soldiers running deportation centers.

Campaigns against compulsory conscription in Switzerland have been pacified by the introduction of civil protection and civil service. We believe that anarchist antimilitarism should not be limited to the rejection of the military or even to total desertion from every obligation this state imposes on us but should turn into attack.

For this reason, in the night from the 17th to the 18th June, in Mezzovico, Ticino, we have set fire to ten vehicles of the civil protection, which were totally destroyed and three military vehicles, which regrettably only partially burned.

We state with strength of our ideas and actions our solidarity with all anarchists taken hostage by the state and take this opportunity to greet those on the hidden paths of freedom. Those who struggle will never be alone.

Swiss neutrality does not exist. Where there is capitalism, there is war.

En 1973, deux attentats à la bombe contre une multinationale des télécommunications en République Fédérale d’Allemagne marquent les débuts de ce qui allait devenir les Revolutionäre Zellen (RZ, « Cellules Révolutionnaires »). Inspirées par les mouvements de libération armés dans le dit tiers-monde et portées par l’agitation subversive qui secoue les métropoles occidentales, les RZ réalisent des dizaines d’attaques, ciblant plus particulièrement le complexe militaro-industriel. Au début des années 1980, elles définissent un angle plus social-révolutionnaire avec le foisonnement d’importantes luttes offensives contre la construction de centrales nucléaires et d’autres nuisances industrielles, de conflits contre l’OTAN et le militarisme, de combats contre le patriarcat et les nouvelles technologies, ou encore de révoltes d’une jeunesse enragée. Dotées d’une solide logistique souterraine décentralisée, les RZ revendiquent près de 200 attentats, principalement explosifs et incendiaires, jusqu’en 1993.

Dans ces entretiens, trois anciens des RZ donnent leur vision du parcours historique de cette organisation de résistance armée. Avec une disponibilité au débat encourageante, ils dressent des bilans critiques, s’interrogent sur l’action offensive, réfléchissent sur les difficultés qu’implique une structure organisationnelle décentralisée mais permanente, questionnent les rapports au sein des groupes d’action souterrains et reviennent sur les péripéties de vies ayant une dimension de combat clandestin.

“I am from the war, a classic son of the working class, of the city growing up in a population where the code of struggle was and is for survival in the always precarious material conditions, but with strong bonds of communal solidarity as a life practice… Respect for the mapu ñuke, the search for a harmonious relationship with the planet, the recovery of spaces and territories and their clean control to build an autonomous path with values that oppose the bourgeois way of teaching and the ideology of the great God of Capital, perpetuated with blood and fire by the Chilean national state, and all its death apparatus, are aspects that make it impossible for me to ignore the bonds with and deep feelings about the struggle for the liberation of wallmapu.

These are times of clarity and definitions. Autonomous, anti-authoritarian and anarchist subversive practices in this part of the world cannot ignore the territoriality of the conflict, nor can they remain only in general and tepid solidarity….

War is no longer declared/ but continued. The unprecedented/ has become daily.

After sentencing Alfredo Cospito to death, the government deliberately lets dozens of migrants drown.

Next March 28, the appeal trial (with possible sentencing) against fellow anarchist Juan Sorroche will be held in Venice. In the first instance Juan had been sentenced to 28 years in prison for an action against the headquarters of the Lega di Treviso: two devices, one exploded and the other did not, which caused no injuries.

A comrade buried alive under the 41 bis regime, other comrades sentenced to de facto life imprisonment. These are the internal reflections of a condition that can be summed up in three words: we are at war.

If already the Covid Emergency was a vast gymnastics of obedience and war rhetoric, the open clash between NATO and the Russian Federation pushes governments to militarize spirits, language, society. A war on minds and material conditions that tightens the meshes of repression more and more every day.

While Alfredo is determined to fight until his last breath-a choice that will forever mark our lives and our struggles-we also have the task of doing all we can to overturn the appeal ruling against Juan, sweet and courageous comrade of so many battles.

Bolzano, Italy: Statement at the appeal trial for the Brenner demonstration

Today, Feb. 3, the last hearing prior to sentencing in the appeal trial for the anti-border march (Brenner, May 2016) was held at the Bolzano court. This is the statement read in the courtroom, signed by some 20 defendants:

If there is a place where words do not express mere opinions without consequences, this is certainly the court. In a few days, in this courtroom, it will be decided whether and for how long our future will consist of bars and prison.

This is no reason to keep silent.

In the repressive doggedness that the various public prosecutors’ offices in this country have long reserved for the anarchist movement – of which the 130 years in prison dispensed in the first-degree verdict in this trial is a good example -, in these days it is reaching its zenith. The state seems determined to condemn to death fellow anarchist Alfredo Cospito, now on his 107th day of an all-out hunger strike against the torture of 41 bis and against hostile life imprisonment. Alfredo’s determination, on the one hand, and institutional ferocity, on the other, decisively overshadow for us the outcome of this trial and our individual fates.

In a country marked by a long trail of real massacres carried out by state apparatuses with the manpower of neo-fascists-this is not only a historical truth, but even a judicial one-, to be convicted of “political massacre” are … two anarchists (Alfredo Cospito and Anna Beniamino), for “a massacre without massacre attributed without evidence.” The most odious falsification of the anarchist idea and practice, taking Alfredo to the grave for living of 41 bis.

If this is the logic, then 130 years in prison can be doled out for a demonstration that caused, according to the same prosecution, 8,000 euros in damages. Consistency, as they say, is in the whole.

While there is talk of the Constitution, the rule of law and peace, reality tells us that the democratic governments of the West are leading us straight toward conflict with Russia, that is, on an inclined plane at the bottom of which is World War III, with the accompanying annihilation of terrestrial life.

The fury against dissent in general and against anarchists in particular is the home front of that war. The 41 bis is prison of war.

That is why Alfredo’s great courage and the solidarity he was able to muster are so frightening. They are part of that humanity that will never side with NATO bombs, just as our comrades in Russia do not side with Putin’s bombs.

While it is up to you to choose whether to join the chorus of repression that is nowadays more disproportionate, our thoughts and hearts are with Alfredo.

Milwaukie, Oregon, USA: KONE service truck set ablaze in solidarity with anarchist prisoner Alfredo Cospito & Alabama prison movement

On the night of November 21st, a KONE service truck was set ablaze while parked behind their corporate office in Milwaukie, Oregon.

This fire was lit for anarchist prisoner Alfredo Cospito in solidarity with his hunger strike against the 41Bis regime in Italy as part of the international call to action.

Cospito was arrested in 2012 and remained imprisoned by the Italian state ever since. According to prosecutors he was linked to various clandestine actions and membership in the Informal Anarchist Federation (FAI). Throughout his imprisonment he has remained committed to the anarchist struggle by texts and interventions. Eventually, on the 5th of May, he was cut off all contact to other humans. From that day on and indefinitely, he lives under the so called 41Bis regime, in a blatant attempt by the Italian state at total isolation.

The multinational corporation KONE a manufacturer of elevators, escalators, and door systems has contracts with prisons and military facilities worldwide, including the Aviano NATO Air Base in Northeastern Italy, through their subsidiary KONE SPA.

Through the practice of revolutionary solidarity we aim to break the isolation of the prison cell. By attacking the corporate infrastructure that enables the system of mass incarceration it is our intention to expand the struggle against prisons beyond the prison walls. To ensure that no prisoner struggling for freedom does so in isolation

Taking responsibility – Against the war industry

In the days of commemoration of the Polytechnic, we must not forget the anti-militarist implications of the uprising. In the midst of military dictatorship, one of the central slogans of the occupied Polytechnic in ’73 was “Out with NATO”. Picking up this thread, anarchy today must find a way of direct action against those who profit and gain from these wars.

While we try to develop anarchist considerations and analyses of every interstate war conflict, one of the most important aspects of the multifaceted anti-military struggle is often ignored: sabotaging the death machine on the ground we are on.

Since we are in NATO’s territory of influence, we have a duty to sabotage everything used by the armed forces of the Greek state and its allies, the arms industry, the financiers and those who give orders and make decisions.
