THE SOCIAL CREDIT SYSTEM
“The most effective power is that which cannot be seen. This fact, combined with the reduction of the subject to a mere economic “animal laborans” and the deconflictionalisation and depoliticisation of society, is tending towards constructing a framework in which rules and those who decide them can hardly be challenged.”
“Depoliticisation and economic success are the most effective tools for pacifying society and maintaining control over it, and the social credit system goes in this direction.”
From 2013 Rongcheng, Chinese city in the province of Shandong, started experimenting with the ‘social credit’ system, but the aim is to extend it throughout the country by 2023.
In Rongcheng, each citizen is assigned 1,000 initial points, and each score corresponds to a specific letter: AAA to D. The letter ‘A’ (equivalent to 1,000 points) is the basic score and entails access to certain benefits, such as preferential assistance in employment and priority in school enrolment. One can aim to increase one’s score through behaviour considered by the Chinese Communist Party as ‘virtuous’: paying taxes and bills on time, making certain purchases, sharing and spreading party ideas, etc. a long list of behaviours by which the ‘trustworthiness’ and ‘virtuousness’ of citizens is judged. Of course, reporting people whose attitudes are deemed to be improper leads to an increase in one’s score. The benefits for the highest level (AAA, accessible to those with more than 1,050 points) include: higher pension insurance, subsidies for public transport, the possibility of applying for interest-free loans, being able to rent vehicles without having to leave a deposit, requiring fewer documents for travel visas, etc.
One’s score also becomes a symbol of prestige to be displayed online, as it already is on the Baihe website, which already allows its users to publish their score. On the other hand, those who are in a difficult situation and therefore pay their bills, rent or taxes late will inevitably have their points deducted; the same goes for those who do not cross at a pedestrian crossing, who throw paper on the ground, who express political opinions not in line with the party, etc. The list of behaviour deemed ‘immoral’ is very long. Face the Fear – Fight the Future
The COVID-19 pandemic is part of the techno-prison world known as the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The lockdowns and the quarantine laws are designed to intimidate people into obeying, Let’s break the rules, riot in the streets and attack the Technocratic State that will use 5G to build this matrix.
Fascism as a political project has always looked like this:
‘State of Emergency’ laws suspending any granted ‘rights’
Control of the media and censorship
Personal relationships recorded and controlled
Protests banned
Local and international movement restricted
Snitching encouraged
Police control of everyday life
Necessities dictated and controlled
Behaviour modification on mass scale
Sudden, arbitrary and ambiguous legislation to wear down population
Using the fear of endangering others to control individuals (collective punishment)
Party members immune from rule of law
Technological innovation
Our enslavement relies on our compliance.
ORGANISE / RESISTANCE
INSURRECTION

Against war
What international?
It is again a time of sacrifice, of hunger, of destruction. Perhaps as never before. The war between the great powers, the economic crisis, the rhetoric of national unity and helmeted politics are, a century later, the nightmare into which the bourgeoisie is again plunging us. With the possibility of nuclear holocaust as a further deadly incumbency. Continue reading “Italy: Issue No. 7 of the anarchist journal “Vetriolo” is out”

A few days ago and while the anarchist comrade G. Michailidis had already been on hunger strike for a week, we decided to play a little bit with the limits of this world’s respectability. So we printed 25 posters with the aesthetics of normality. We knew – and our frequent walks through the places where they were hung confirmed this – that with this aesthetic our posters would stay a little longer hanging inside the courts because they carried on them the misery of wage slavery, the sad emptiness of careerism and the boredom of uniformity.
So we put on our best and got caught between the hypocritical smiles and the pluralities of politeness to become one with the paperhangers, the yuppies and the printers. This enabled us to move comfortably through familiar buildings and hateful court floors. We stuck our boring posters, on walls and bulletin boards, outside the offices of investigators and prosecutors and behind the backs of cops who complacently let us pass even in the “tightly controlled areas” for the sake of some vague confidence in the Normal.
Now that the last of the posters that stained the walls of the bourgeois justice system have been taken down, we can take responsibility for this small gesture of solidarity with G. Michaelides.
WE ARE NEITHER REDEEMED NOR REPENT
WE WILL ALWAYS COMMIT NEW CRIMES.

VICTORY FOR ANARCHIST HUNGER STRIKERS
Dedicated to the rabble. The fall of peoples and of humanity will be the signal of my elevation. – Max Stirner
BEFORE THE DAWN OF THE NEW NIHILISM EVERYTHING IS DOOMED TO BURN
We retrieve and bring the contents of this poster back to the present as a message of solidarity in the war of words for our comrade Giannis Michailidis who has been on hunger strike since 23/05 demanding his release from prison.

Note of ANARQUÍA: This is the fourth part of a series of articles by comrade Gustavo Rodriguez, in response to the critiques of Marxism and some anarchist individualities, who seek revolutionary unity and label those of us who do NOT forget the objective and the path we must create for anarchy as a sect.
1. IN DEFENCE OF ASSOCIATIVE SPECIFICITY – ABOUT (INTRINSICALLY) ANARCHIC “SECTARIANISM
2. CONSULTING THE DICTIONARY: CONCEPTS AND DEFINITIONS OF “SECTARIANISM”.
3. THE MARXIAN CHURCH AGAINST ANARCHIST “SECTARIANISM”.
The Marxian religion was imposed in Russia by blood and fire with the Bolshevik coup d’état. Vladimir Ilich Ulyanov (alias Lenin) would be in charge of canonizing the dogma -glorifying its metaphysical character with ontological and metahistorical pretensions- and implementing it as a disciplinary instrument and tool of domination. As could not be otherwise, the institutional faith produced its high priests who, in the end, would turn out to be “more papist than the Pope”; reaching its dogmatic paroxysm with the rise of Soviet orthodoxy after 1930 and the development of the schools affiliated with Stalinism (read: most of the Marxian currents that were implanted in the so-called Third World). Certainly, in this context, the “struggle against sectarianism”1 was exacerbated in the defunct Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR).
Circus-trials, mass imprisonments, state surveillance and extrajudicial executions – by means of Cheka -,2 were the response to “sectarianism” in the land of the “soviets” during 70 years of red fascism. Thousands of anarchists, critical Marxians, Mensheviks, social-revolutionaries and other “sychophants” went to the concentration camps created by Trotsky, accused of “sectarianism”. In those same extermination camps, the survivors of the Kronstadt massacre served their sentences, under the same accusation. In East Germany, Albania, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, China, North Korea, Mongolia, Cuba, Cambodia and Ethiopia, “sectarians” were persecuted and killed by their respective states/churches. We republish an excerpt from the CCF’s (Conspiracy of Cells of Fire) book New Urban Guerrilla on the occasion of “World Workers’ Day”, one of the few days when leftists remember to take to the streets, hold their ritual marches and speak their faded slogans. The left has never been able to fully recover from the consequences of the rise of neoliberalism and the fall of the USSR, and it never will as long as it clings to outdated and anachronistic theories and practices that struggle to cope with the rapid developments of the last few decades. The concept of ‘worker’ and ‘class struggle’ that they so glorify no longer have the same clarity and meaning that they had a century ago. The third industrial revolution, the automation it brought about and globalisation have led to the expansion of the tertiary sector at the expense of the primary and secondary sectors. For the average young worker who works in hotels and cafes, the ‘occupation of the means of production’ does not make as much sense as it would to a bachelor worker, especially when the rusty leftist rhetoric has not even managed to prevail against neoliberal standards, the doctrine of ‘there is no alternative’ and the false promises of social advancement and enrichment. The so-called class consciousness is now almost non-existent. We cannot even imagine how much more fossilized the left will look like with the arrival of the fourth industrial revolution, which is already just around the corner, and which will bring even more radical socio-economic transformations, changing and blurring even more the class dynamics and the meaning of ‘worker’.
With all that has been said about the left, it is therefore not surprising either why a ‘movement’ such as that of the a/a space, which tends to become increasingly leftist, is so alienated from population groups it is supposed to support, such as workers and minorities.
Or May Day is not the worker’s right.
May Day is sabotage, memory and consistency in the workers’ hellhole
Action and attack on the mechanisms of oppression
For anarchy and nihilism
– IO EIF
So here it is necessary to talk about society and the individual. We declare ourselves anti-socialists and have referred extensively to our conception of society. However, because we find that confusion remains in many mouths and ears producing distorted ideologies of revolutionary elitism, we for our part persist in striking down this misunderstanding.
First of all, by the term society we do not in any way exclusively define the numerical population of people. We characterize as a whole the majority framework of attitudes, traditions, morals and customs within which the processes of power are accepted. For example, the concepts of property, patriotism, religion, are pervasive social values deeply rooted in <> without the need for law enforcement and state surveillance.
Of course, the majority of society, beyond the common belief shared in the necessity of power, is at the same time divided into classes. Social classes that are not entrenched from one another, as in past centuries when natural exclusion from the upper echelons of power prevailed (pyramidal morphology based on descent and hereditary rights), but constitute categories of people based on their fluid position in production and their economic surface. Today, therefore, people are in constant class mobility due to the structure of the modern system. The participatory form of capitalism and the real or fictitious opportunities for professional development form a fluctuating scale on which petty bourgeoisie can become bosses (self-made professionals and careerists) and bosses can fall into petty bourgeoisie (company bankruptcies, failed investments).
