FEAR CHANGES SIDE
On Thursday night 12/1 we organized and carried out an ambush against cops of the DIAS group in the area of Zografou. The way the ambush was set up and the intensity of the attack we carried out, resulted in the serious injury of a cop and the total destruction of a motorbike -only this one arrived at the scene- of this particular group. The high strength of firepower used was proportional to the impunity of this group, which already counts 2 murdered Roma in the last 16 months and dozens of incidents of “police arbitrariness”. This was a powerful response to the crescendo of police repression orchestrated by the New Democracy government, which has given the police force free rein to beat, torture and shoot in cold blood, knowing that none of them will be punished and their crimes will be covered up by the lies of journalists, the impunity of the bourgeois justice system and the cover of the political leadership.
We say to the cops in the ranks and to their superiors. For the wanton violence you have used, we will punish you with our own hands. Your colleague’s cries of despair are proof of your weakness when faced with organized forces of revolutionary violence. Panic, pain, fear, insecurity, these are the emotions we offered you during the ambush against you. Draw your conclusions from them because your sense of omnipotence ended with a bang in a dead end at Zografou. With this action we want to pass the message that with organization, planning and discipline we can hit the forces of repression by causing fear and material costs to both animate and inanimate material.
The law and order doctrine that the New Democracy government has been applying since the first moment of its election has left behind dead, wounded, tortured and raped. The constant impunity of the cops is not an accidental fact but the essence of this doctrine. The last link in a huge chain of incidents is the cold-blooded execution of the 16-year-old Roma Kostas Fragoulis, because he ‘dared’ not to pay 20 euros for petrol. On Wednesday at dawn an attack took place on the gate of the apartment building of Kabouris Theodoros, president of the local New Democracy of Serres. Slogans were written and motor oil was thrown at the gate and at the cars of the other residents. The event was reported in the local media. We were honoured to receive comments from the local KKE and SYRIZA. The act is dedicated to Thanos Chatziangelou. Keep strong comrade, soul and body in the struggle. Strength to the archer, to Dimitris Hatzivassiliadis, to Alfredo Cospito and to all the imprisoned comrades around the world. We do not forget the behavior of the uniformed stains towards Thanos. Everything continues, it’s all a road, not a step back.
Dreamers of chaos
Back in the distant 2007, at a time of underlying and subtle social processes that would culminate in the December 2008 uprising, the authorities were looking after one of their favourite children. George Voulgarakis, a member of the deepest party-apparatus of New Democracy and Minister of Public Order, is caught up in the maelstrom of phone tapping scandals and ‘disappearances’ of Pakistani migrants and refugees. The state, however, always takes care of its children and Voulgarakis goes on “vacation”, away from the “hot potato” of the Ministry of Public Order, taking over the “loose” Ministry of Culture.
But some people do not forget and do not forgive. At 10:00am on July 3, 2007, a few hours after Voulgarakis and his police escort arrived at the ministry on Bouboulinas Street, they were attacked by a group of twenty comrades, with Molotov cocktails and a bag full of gasoline canisters and camping gas canisters, that fell into Voulgarakis’ own vehicle. The policemen open fire on the comrades, only thus managing to make them retreat.
In the text in which they claimed responsibility, they state:
“The attack on Culture Minister G. Voulgarakis was carried out as a sign of solidarity with the imprisoned militants. The Minister of Culture was chosen because a representative of the government is always a target of militants, let alone when he has served as Minister of Public Order and his term of office has remained unforgettable. He was the political head of the Ministry of Order when he intercepted and monitored the conversations of hundreds of citizens through vodafone. He was the political head of the Ministry of Order and responsible for the abduction and interrogation of dozens of Pakistani migrants. Finally, under the orders of Voulgarakis and on the occasion of the robbery of the National Bank in January 2006, for which Yannis Dimitrakis is on trial on 6 July, the anti-authoritarian movement was subjected to one of the most furious assaults of recent years with pogroms, kidnappings, slander, smears and finally prosecutions of anarchists. Freedom to those imprisoned in the cells. Solidarity to all persecuted comrades. As for their shooting, deliberately at point blank range and not in the air, the cops had better be careful because such moves can be met with the same price.”

In October 2022, within the framework of the zero tolerance doctrine, the new Penitentiary Code is passed, which among other things makes the granting of leave and the conditional release of prisoners even more difficult and essentially restores the C-type prisons with the “maximum security prisons”. In response to this law, on 28 October, mobilisations by prisoners in prisons throughout the country began. The state, in an attempt to intimidate those who are struggling, reacts vindictively, targeting some of them with threats and bullshit in their cells.
Thus, at dawn on Monday 19/12 the kidnapping of the political prisoner for participation in the organization Anarchist Action, Thanos Chatziaggelou, and his transfer from his cell in Korydallos to the prison of Nigrita Serres. In the same way, on 22/12, the transfer of comrade K. Dimalexis to the prison of Trikala was carried out. On the same night of his abduction, comrade Th. Chatziaggelou starts a hunger and thirst strike demanding the disclosure of the reason for his transfer and his return to Korydallos. The comrade’s health is in a very critical condition and he is in danger of suffering kidney failure or cardiac arrest. In an attempt to discredit his struggle, a verbal prosecution proposal is made to force-feed the striker, a practice that constitutes torture and endangers his health. In solidarity, prisoners G. Michaelides, F. Tziotzis, I. Rodopoulos, L. Vougiouklakis and F. Daskalas go on symbolic or non-symbolic hunger strikes, putting their bodies on the mound.
As a minimal sign of solidarity with comrade Th. Chatziaggelou and the rest of the strikers, we chose on 27/12 to attack by breaking the facade and throwing paint at the offices of the New Democracy party in Koukaki, which as a government applies the doctrine of zero tolerance, at least against those who do not enjoy its favour.

Hamburg: solidarity attack on HERTZ
The next racist murder attempt of the Greek cops, but also the ongoing hunger strike of the anarchists in Italy have motivated us to attack HERTZ as a supporter of the Greek cops and thus of the racist and neoliberal Nea-Demokratia regime. At the branch in Hamburg Wandsbek we set fire to the building.
Not only in Greece HERTZ offers favorable conditions for the uniformed executioners, but also for example in the USA.
Not only the shot in the back of the head of Costas Fragoulis in Thessaloniki is an expression of the racist violence that is the order of the day in Greece. There are daily pushbacks and assaults against people fleeing at the borders. In the camps and deportation jails, it becomes clear again and again what Europe’s closure against refugees means: brutal, inhuman violence that the Greek state and other European security agencies use without scruples.
At the same time, places of rebellion and migrant self-organization are repeatedly attacked in Greece: recently the Prosfygika Squat in Athens, but also many other squats and projects face constant attacks.
Solidarity with those detained in defense of Prosfygika!
Strength to the revolt of Roma and others who are rising up as a result of the shooting of Costas!
Combatative greetings to the hunger strikers in Italian prisons who fight against the solitary confinement system 41bis – freedom for Alfredo and all others!
Victory to the revolution in Iran!
During today’s march, a political intervention took place, specifically breaking into the offices of the New Democracy Party. We broke the glass entrance, then went up to the 2nd floor, broke the door and threw white paint.
The above action took place on the occasion of the attempted state murder of 16-year-old K. Fragoulis on the eve of December 6, the boiler room explosion that led to the death of a student in a primary school in Serres and the provocative attitude of the Prime Minister who praised the cops with 600 euros.

Text of Solidarity by the Members of Revolutionary Struggle
Pola Roupa and Nikos Maziotis
The physical and moral extermination of revolutionary fighters and political prisoners, or the coercion of them into political renunciation and repentance, has been the goal of the State and capital throughout time. In order to achieve this aim, States have created special conditions of detention and isolation for those who took up arms against the regime, for those they call “terrorists”.
One example of special detention today is the Italian model under Article 41 bis.
Under Italian law, the Minister of “Justice” is given the right to lift the rules of treatment of some prisoners and order their transfer to special conditions of detention. The special conditions based on Article 41 bis impose complete social and sensory isolation, limiting contacts with other prisoners, limiting visits to one (1) per month with relatives, not by physical contact but through a glass partition, limiting, prohibiting, correspondence and the possession of books, shrinking prisoners’ exercise period to one (1) hour per day and increasing the time of confinement inside the cell.
These conditions are a form of torture aimed at crushing militant prisoners and in general those under this regime. Continue reading “Greece: Pola Roupa and Nikos Maziotis: For Alfredo Cospito. Text of Solidarity by the Members of Revolutionary Struggle”
As Direct Action Cells we take responsibility for the incendiary attack on the home owned by the child rapist, pimp and member of the New Democracy party Elias Michos, and his ex-wife Elizabeth Lekka. In the early morning of 23/10, we placed a low-powered incendiary/explosive device at the entrance of their apartment building in the Attica area.
POLICE – JUSTICE – GOVERNMENT – MEDIA
An organised ring promoting and covering up pimps, rapists, child rapists, murderers and torturers – The cutting edge of the domestic capital mafia
“This is the practice and to whom it may please” – Demosthenes Pakos (police “unionist”)
For those who still insist on not understanding the systemic support and cover-up of police and fascist attacks, for those who still insist that the judiciary is neutral and independent of the domestic bourgeois elite and the whole mechanism of consolidating and monopolizing the violence it practices, for those who were not satisfied with the acquittal of the pimp and child rapist of the New Democracy, Nikos Georgiadis, the “special-friendly treatment” of the mafia boss Menios Fourthiotis, but also the full release on parole of the New Democracy’s Petros Lefkowitz for the serial rapes of his daughter since she was 11 years old, we would like to list only a few of the recent cases where the full complicity of the civil justice system with the scum who destroyed lives was proven. All this is already known, we are simply quoting it in a condensed form to make it absolutely visible that STATE AND CAPITAL VICTORY, VIOLATE AND KILL, that their very nature is exploitation, barbarism, devaluation of lives and the imposition of terror, and that every aspect of political and social life is class and value-determined. It is a SYSTEM FOR PRODUCING TERROR, VIOLENCE AND DEATH, with the corresponding mechanisms of communication management and laundering.
- Two years ago, after a solidarity meeting for those arrested during a march against the burning of garbage by Lafarge / AGET in Volos, the comrade Vassilis Maggos was arrested. The cops of the Magnesia Police Directorate torture him and, after covering their voracious violent appetites, throw him into the street. The blows were fatal for the comrade, who breathes his last breath on 13/7/2020. This state murder is still being covered up today by the state-judicial apparatus, as only three cops were indicted for the simple misdemeanour of “dangerous bodily harm”, while no names have been released, and now that the case is being tried, the “law and order enforcers” are committing violence against the people in solidarity who had gathered at the Volos courts.
- Last summer, the deafening case of the pimping and rape of a minor girl by her father and a cop at the Ilioupolis police station came to light, with the knowledge and the brutal cover-up of the other state agents of that department. The pimps, rapists and cover-ups are still circulating among us, the case was covered up and buried, until the next and the time after that when we will learn again about trafficking and (child) rape rings involving cops and “prominent” households.
- One year ago, on 22/10/2021, cops execute Nikos Sampanis in Perama, gunning him down with 36 bullets after a chase due to racial profiling, and defying orders from the operations centre not to follow the stolen vehicle. The cops claimed they were on “defense,” which of course was debunked by video footage and eyewitnesses. The follow-up is predictable. Immediately all seven were acquitted, returned to work as normal and are walking among us. …And life became the biggest lie
There is no police brutality
There are only bloodthirsty protesters in a brutal fury
with the breakneck speed of desperation
the com-mat-asfalites1, the chemical tear gas, the shields.
the helmets, the incubating cages
the snake eggs of the fascist crawling society….
George Tsingos and the Black Circles
Watching the domestic news of the last few months, one will see that despite the social reactions that have developed, the isolation and suppression of the antagonistic movement as well as the imposition of unprecedented social control measures remains a key objective of the Greek state. The gentrification of Exarcheia includes the construction of a metro station in the square, the redevelopment-privatisation of the Strefi Hill and the blocking of access to the Polytechnic and aims to uproot the revolutionary tradition of the area. Similarly, the installation of MAT platoons and all kinds of cops inside the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki aims to sterilize the university premises from any voice of opposition to the bosses. But beyond hitting the movements, the hiring of thousands of new cops, the millions given to equip the police and their constant presence in the public arena on every occasion set the tone of the new social contract. And all this at a time when society is being impoverished anew, with precision pushing those from below to the limits of survival. In a nutshell as Petsas arrogantly informed us adaptation (to capitalist and state dictates) or death.
The effort by the current government to restructure the education system and especially the universities begins the very next day after its election with the abolition of the university asylum. Their pretext was to crack down on lawlessness and instil a sense of security. This was followed by the passing of Law 4777 in the midst of quarantine to avoid major social reactions. The response to those that were manifested was a display of fierceness and brutality. Just a few examples:
- the pulling of a gun by a cop at the ΑΣΣΟΕ (Athens School of Economics)
- the two evacuations of the occupied rectorate of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in the space of one month in 2021
- the evacuation of the steki at the Biologcko
- the hundreds of injuries, beatings and arrests in the last two years in student mobilizations
- the firing of asphyxiant inside the ΣΘΕ (School of Sciences) in broad daylight with hundreds of students and workers trapped inside the building and suffocating
- the hitting and severely injuring of a student with a flashbang grenade fired at point-blank range
- the murderous attack on the crowd attending Thanasis Papakostantinou’s concert during the 3rd Libertarian Festival of Occupied Spaces and Collectives, which almost resulted in people being trampled.

On Thursday 6 October 2022 we carried out an incendiary attack with Molotov cocktails on a passing MAT (riot police) convoy in Kaisariani. In his panic to escape, the cop driving it drove into bystander cars on the road.
We live in the era of constant and generalized war. Every declaration of war is accompanied by a corresponding invocation of the Crisis. Financial, fiscal, health, energy, food, climate… This spectacular ritual of the state apparatus is the prologue to every old and modern war manual: every war operation presupposes the imposition of discipline and rallying at the rear through the spread of fear towards the enemies of the day. A state of permanent emergency to which we tend to become addicted.
In a collapsing world, the Dominion holds on to its monopoly of producing mass insecurity by tooth and nail. If the dangers and threats invoked by those above are increasing in numbers, the orders and commands directed downwards show a clear geometric progression. This is the balance of the violent restructuring of our life, the new social contract of modern totalitarianism. Or in the words of Petsas1 “adaptation or death”. Social experience can translate these words without equivocation. Memorandum or bankruptcy. Mass incarceration or collapse of the ΕΣΥ (National Health Service). Graveyard silence or beatings and fines. Compulsory vaccinations or redundancies. Preventative power cuts or general black outs. And the list may soon stretch to the light bulb switch or supermarket receipt.
The realm of fear and insecurity is the baptism font of the new form of the State and its Violence. The modern capitalist world breeds only police. Police of thought and attitudes, police of norms and culture, police overt and covert, police with shields and automatic weapons, police of crowd management and police of surgical operations, police in the suburbs and in the city centres, police who demand identity cards, passports and health certificates, police who beat, charge and execute, police who sometimes resemble an ideological army and sometimes a fascist battalion. Police of every kind, in every place, in every spot on the map, with multiple jurisdictions and no barriers.
