Croix-Daurade, France: Fire of an electric car charging station in solidarity with Alfredo Cospito

Posted on 2023/01/13 by darknights

Croix Daurade, charging station on fire, if we don’t burn them, we’ll have the EPZ!

At the end of December 2022, while some people are driving a Tesla and are warm at home, we don’t have the money to pay our bills. To keep warm we made a good fire with a charging station for electric cars in Croix-Daurade.

The ZFE will prevent the poorest from accessing Toulouse under an ecological pretext. Driving a Zoe will only stop pollution in your dreams. The EPZ excludes the poor, the poor want to exclude the EPZ.
The State ecology goes through the all-electricity, in particular by the nuclear power, which is an industry of death. The death of the proles colonized in the uranium mines, the death of the production and management of waste, in short the death of the living which would be only a collateral damage.

Ten years ago, after the minor accident at Fukushima, fellow revolutionaries shot the CEO of an Italian company that exported nuclear technology in the knee. Today, one of them, Alfredo Cospito, is in jail and undergoing total isolation. For two months, he has been on hunger strike to alleviate his conditions of detention.

Strength to him, to Anna Beniamino who also assumed the jambization [Note to those who translated into Italian: Anna Beniamino has never assumed any jamming], and to all the comrades who fight against the nuclear.

Against the Empire of green capital, let us be Spartacus!

Grand Est, France: Attack on nuclear infrastructure in solidarity with Alfredo Cospito

Posted on 2022/12/20 - 2022/12/20 by darknights

In May of this year, the anarchist prisoner Alfredo Cospito was transferred to the 41bis isolation regime. The torture method of sensory deprivation aims to break his rebellious spirit and silence him. In order to obtain the removal of his isolation conditions, our comrade started an unlimited hunger strike on October 20. On December 1st – on the 42nd day of the hunger strike – a review of the conditions of detention decided to continue the torture procedure. If the Italian fascist state persists in its practice of isolation, Alfredo may not see the end of this year. But his death will not be a suicide: it will be the murder under torture of a vengeful political justice.

Let’s prevent this murder
The most passionate form of revolutionary solidarity is to continue the struggles for which our compasses are behind bars. It was in this spirit that on December 11, during a night-time sabotage action, we went to a pylon of the Fessenheim-Paris EHV line and unscrewed the bolts. The pylon is still standing, but its statics are clearly compromised. Let our revolutionary anger act in alliance with nature, and let a winter storm do the rest!

Alfredo has always been able to link the question of social revolution with that of ecology and, through his words and deeds, connect the ecocidal plundering of our planet with the struggle against the dominant powers, exploitation and oppression. In his statement on the shooting in the knee of the Italian nuclear industry leader Roberto Adinolfi (ansaldo nucleare) and later in various statements of the procè in the Scripta Manent case, he described the need to anchor a revolutionary perspective in the anti-nuclear movement. In a valuable contribution to the debate, he also spoke in 2018 about the struggle against the CIGÉO project for the burial of nuclear waste in the French village of Bure in the Meuse. Referring to the idea of diversity of tactics practiced there, he suggests an intensification of the forms of struggle chosen. This is one of the contributions that were later used to justify the hardening of his detention conditions. Toulouse, France: ‘Borne… to be burned!’ New electric car charging station burned

Posted on 2022/11/19 by darknights

New electric car charging station burned down on boulevard de Suisse, in Toulouse, this Thursday, November 10.

Energy is their future. Fossil or renewable, and especially nuclear, imported or not, production is always increasing, defining our needs and ruining lives.
The French state wants to stay in the race of energy markets. The restructuring of the car fleet is one of them, with the announced plan for 2030 of 2 million electric cars; this means new lithium mines, whole fields of photovoltaic panels and windmills, cities closed to all those who cannot afford to buy the new Zoe or a Tesla. If the planned goal of 100,000 electric charging stations has not been reached this year, it may be because this future is only of interest to car shareholders and a few hypertechnology enthusiasts. Since this summer, several recently installed charging stations have been destroyed in Toulouse, one of the test cities of the LEZ (low emission zone subject to the crit’air sticker). We participated in this resistance. The LEZ is an ecological decoy and a social injustice. Because we do not see a transition but an accumulation of energy resources whose exploitation conditions the survival of this shitty system. We see with joy that a resistance is also unfolding everywhere in many ways, and more broadly against the industries that pump all the energy.

Silvaticus

Posted on 2022/10/18 - 2022/10/18 by darknights

In front of the steamrollers of industrial civilization and progress, one of the last sensible worlds populated by terrifying imagery and enchanted fantasies is disappearing before our eyes: that of the forests. Those that were a fiefdom of the lords who lined the hanged there, or a shelter to escape persecution. Those that represented the darkness where one could abandon one’s hungry offspring or the dense shelter from which to set out on the assault of the existent. Those that harbored mysteries populated by dryads and werewolves or that saw the warship builders and other master forgers come through to strip them en masse. Those that saw in Sherwood daring bandits plundering the rich, in Ariège Demoiselles (*) with soot-covered faces burning and plundering castles, in Courlande of revolutionaries continuing to strike fierce blows against tsarist tyranny, but also witnessing in the Alps or Poland the death by frostbite of migrants driven out by European border guards.

Fundamentally, forests are also ambiguous because of their very etymology, since forest stood for first and foremost the outdoor space not used by villagers-the word savage itself comes from silvaticus, meaning sylvan-before designating vast wooded areas reserved for the nobility and monasteries protected from peasant uses. By a singular inversion of meaning, the word forest, the perilous unknown that Roman civilization could not subjugate, ended up qualifying in a few centuries the territory par excellence of religious and feudal rule, before finally becoming a generic and rather vague term. Alfredo Cospito fuori dal 41-bis : Solidarity from Bure

Revolutionary solidarity is a sailboat without borders that rides the waves of the storm!

From Bure, we wish to send all our solidarity to our comrade Alfredo Cospito, who is currently in solitary confinement (called “41-bis”) in the prison of Sassari in Sardinia (Italy) for having shot the CEO of Ansaldo Nucleare, designer and builder of nuclear power plants, for having claimed his action and for having greatly contributed, from prison, to the debate on our modes of action, the diversity of tactics, internationalism and the revolutionary perspective of the anti-nuclear movement.

Any attempt to isolate one of our comrades will fuel our anger and revive the sparks that drive us to act. Alfredo Cospito’s struggle is also our struggle: against nuclear power and the technocrats who rule the world.

While the extraction of uranium and other rare-earth elements continues to ravage territories and destroy bodies, while nuclear “tests” or bomb trainings have contaminated the regions and inhabitants of Quirra in Sardinia, the Hoggar mountains in Algeria, Moruroa and Fangataufa in Polynesia, and other territories taken over by the imperialist powers, while in its war against Ukraine, Russia is using nuclear power plants as a sword of Damocles, Europe agrees that nuclear power is a “green” energy, France is rushing head first to build new reactors and Italy is questioning the shutdown of its production (after all, it didn’t mind continuing to build power plants in other countries, so why continue to pretend to have stopped, right?). The projects of burying radioactive waste, in Bure (France) and now also in Italy, are not a search for solutions to the contaminations that nuclear power has produced, but tools to allow nuclear power to develop, more and more.

The Italian state, in the vanguard of the repression of our struggles, adopts, not too surprisingly, the strategy of isolation. Isolate more and more: on an island far from loved ones, alone in a prison, in a cell in the basement. Sardinia, a militarized island, a training ground for special forces, with its NATO bases, is a node of the war. For a long time, it has been used as a location for isolating the most problematic political prisoners, such as the Red Brigades and the Nuclei Armati Proletari locked up in the Fornelli prison in Asinara, whose revolt of October 2, 1979 should be recounted. The Fornelli prison has now become a museum, but it has not made history of all the other prisons, it has not put an end to the confinements in the 41-bis special regime, and therefore it will not archive our struggles. Even today, Sardinia is used as a land of deportation for the enemies of the state order.

France: Numerous direct actions in solidarity with anarchist comrade Boris

Toulouse: Scopelec vehicle on fire in solidarity with Boris

This world is becoming more and more unbreathable every day. The techno-industrial system has a lot to do with it. In order not to be suffocated, on the night of September 12 to 13, we chose to attack. Under the gaze of the crows and the moon, we burned a Scopelec van.

At the moment of writing this communiqué, our thoughts flew to Boris who, after being locked up in state cages, continues to suffer repression by the judicial and medical authorities. The defenders of these institutions are seeking to deprive him of his autonomy in order to punish him for burning down cell towers and more generally for his hostility to their world.

If we want to stand in solidarity with people who are attacking domination, we also want to bear in mind that “their world” runs through us and that the struggle against gender oppression cannot be relegated to second place in our actions or our relationships.

Solidarity with the anarchist prisoners!

Toulouse: Action against the ZFE, in solidarity with Boris

In the night of 5 to 6 September, a charging point for electric cars was set fire to in the sept derniers area in Toulouse.

A nuclear shower has caused new mushrooms to spring up all over the metropolises, and Toulouse is going all out. Neither economic reasons nor the so-called “ecological” transition can justify either the social carnage or the destruction of the air and water.
Let the markets dry up instead of the rivers, let the birds sing and let the governance experts finally shut up.

Italy: We will not stay warm during the storm

Posted on 2022/07/13 by darknights

We receive and disseminate this text-proposal, which we will gladly return to in the near future:

Let’s be clear: we want Alfredo out of 41bis.

Our proposal is not that of a specialized campaign against 41bis or against prisons: not because we like these institutions or because we think anyone should remain locked up in them, but because we think it is urgent to start from a “simpler” goal, knowing full well that when we have achieved it we will not have even begun in our struggle, which is for social revolution.

A struggle for the destruction of the prison cannot be won as long as there are states and authorities: therefore, these are battles that must be carried on continuously, but we would like, in this case, to try to give ourselves an attainable goal even in the short or medium term.

The fight against prison is – in itself – a fight against the existing, because the end of prisons means the end of the state, similarly the fight against 41bis, in Italy, goes to touch some of the foundations of the Italian state, which since its introduction has made it the workhorse of the “fight against the mafia.” Let’s face it clearly and humbly: 41bis is one of the ideological pillars of the Italian state, which has among its mottos “41bis or death!” The anti-mafia war has shown us this: the state, instead of giving up 41bis, has been willing to make the population pay for mafia bombs, such as the massacre of Via Georgofili in Florence or Via Palestro in Milan. So we find it difficult that on the abolition of that prison regime specifically (as, moreover, of prison in general), we can make pressures, whether harmless or violent. Whereas we think it is different to lobby specifically for the downgrading of Alfredo. This is not to say that our speeches, or our actions, should be watered down. The radicality of our struggle must be ensured, even in the case of a “partial demand” such as Alfredo’s demotion, by never disjointing the goals we can and must set ourselves with the social-political reasons for our anarchist actions. The radicality of action, propaganda, and agitation are the only antibody to strongly reiterate that our struggle is for the destruction of the existent, without mediation, preventing our demands, from that of the liberation of a comrade to stopping this or that project of capital, from being assimilated into a power-compatible reformism. Paris, France: A small spark against Enedis

Posted on 2022/02/02 by darknights

In the early morning of January 22, rue du Général Bizot in Paris, a van of Enedis, subsidiary of the nuclear empire EDF, was set on fire.

This small action may seem derisory compared to such a big industrial group, but it doesn’t matter, at least we will have tried not to confine ourselves to palaver, and in any case this type of argument only pushes us to resignation.
By this gesture and by these words, both are inseparable, we also hope to motivate other people to take action. Those who want to act in the direction of individual and collective emancipation because they see not only that this techno-industrial society is running towards ecological disaster but also that the “solutions” that are proposed to us all go in the direction of a stronger individual subjugation.
And may our little sparks finally set the meadow on fire!

A hug to those who are fighting, especially against nuclear power. A thought for our companions in jail, among them Alfredo, an Italian anarchist who shot a nucleocrat.

Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône (Bouches-du-Rhône), France: Attack on wind turbines

Posted on 2021/11/25 - 2021/11/25 by darknights

State speeches and the media show on climate change accompany and legitimize a new transformation of the technological system.
Diversifying and multiplying energy sources in order to perpetuate exploitation and control: revival of nuclear power, “solar farms”, “wind farms” to feed telework, robotics, the internet of things, electric cars…

One night at the end of October, while the newspapers were talking about COP26 and the energy crisis, we sabotaged three wind turbines of the Port Saint Louis du Rhône wind farm. After opening the ventilation grid, we set fire to the cables and electrical installations located below.

For direct action.
