Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis), Paris, France: The van of Valmy street

Posted on 2021/10/03 - 2021/10/03 by darknights

This is the story of an eiffage van. A brand new van. Because it has obviously replaced the one that, as we read, was burned earlier this year in the same area. A brand new van, therefore, which ends up burning.

An Eiffage van is most often used to build cages.

Sad cages with colors that sound false. Cages to get us used to conformity, to prepare us for work and to play the social role we have been assigned.

Cages that are depressing or full of noise and lights that make our heads spin, supposed to motivate us to waste our time and energy in occupations that are too often useless or harmful.

Falsely welcoming cages to fill with trinkets to park us when we are not busy producing or consuming. To hide the emptiness that our life has become.

Gloomy cages with barbed wire and bars, when we don’t want to or can’t play the social role we have been assigned.

Sanitized cages to try to prolong this existence when it is the very life that is missing.

The characteristic of this existence is its absence of life, replaced by a set of objects and more or less obliged occupations. But there will always be someone to avenge this life that is taken away from us. Because the only dignified life in a society that prevents us from living is the destruction of this society.

So this is the story of the Eiffage van that was set on fire on Sunday night, 27 rue Valmy in Montreuil.

This is the story of a van that will not be the last to go up in smoke.

Solidarity with Boris, with Toby Shone, imprisoned in England and with the three Italian anarchists currently on trial and facing many years in jail.

Long live anarchy!

Santiago, Chile: Transantiago bus set on fire in San Joaquín + Leaflets

Posted on 2021/10/03 by darknights

On Friday, September 10, 2021, about five anonymous individuals boarded the Transantiago bus on Vicuña Mackenna Avenue, in front of the San Joaquín campus of the Catholic University, to get off the driver and passengers.

Quickly the anonymous would have poured petrol and set fire to the public transport vehicle, at the same time that they threw leaflets demanding the freedom of the prisoners of the revolt and remembering one of those killed by the repression during the revolt.

No one was injured or arrested.

Bremen, Germany: Once again a vehicle of prison profiteers torched

Posted on 2021/09/24 by darknights

“It is companies like Spie, WISAG, Massak, Sodexo […] that keep state rule alive through their pandering.”

Inspired by the compas who already relieved Dussmann Service GmbH of three vehicles at the beginning of the year, we attacked SPIE in the night from Monday to Tuesday and burned out a van in front of their branch at Sielhof.

Both as part of the French nuclear industry and through its cooperation with RWE in the lignite mining in the Hambach Forest, SPIE has already made itself a legitimate target.
But for us, SPIE is one thing above all: a prison profiteer.

Locking systems, video surveillance, alarm systems, emergency and cell call systems and many other products from the repertoire of companies like SPIE form the technological basis that makes prison and the surveillance state possible in the first place. They are not only accomplices, profiteers who decide to accept the suffering and dehumanization of prisoners for a little profit. They are themselves part of the order that prison and other organs need to discipline in order to secure its existence.

The difference between state authorities and private companies is primarily one of civil law.
We shit on that right and attack them.
We call them what they are: Pigs.

Dresden, Germany: Fire Set in Prison Construction Office

Posted on 2021/09/24 by darknights

Dresden, September 17, 2021

For some time now, militant resistance has been stirring against the ongoing construction of prisons in Zwickau. In the meantime, many companies involved in construction, planning or logistics have been affected. Particular attention was paid to the construction company Hentschke Bau, whose boss had also attracted negative attention through donations to the AfD. However, such a large project involves many participants and we do not want to be accused of forgetting anyone. So in the night from September 16 to 17, we dedicated ourselves with a few liters of gasoline to the engineering office Rathenow in the Albertstadt. We broke two windows and placed incendiary devices in the rooms. We hope that the fire disturbed the smooth running of further prison planning and that the company understands: Whoever earns money from the construction of prisons will have to bear the consequences! On the area we found additionally still another Bonzenschlitten, we set it without further ado on fire.

We see in jails a place of pointed mutilation, where people are (supposed to be) broken. The outcasts of society are locked away here to hide problems in living together. Instead of taking collective responsibility for these problems, it is left to the judiciary to decide who is allowed to live in the world outside the walls and who should only view the narrow perimeter of the prison through bars and fences. As anarchists we oppose state repression, we oppose the imprisonment of people, be it through analogous walls or the technological imprisonment in the open air prison. With the same determination, we stand with the prisoners. The struggle inside and outside the jails takes a wide variety of forms that complement each other. Some people stand in front of the prison on New Year’s Eve or write letters, others organize against the conditions and make known the deplorable conditions behind the walls, still others take care of the concrete support of the inmates. Now and then, some go out with the aim of calling the profiteers of exploitation and imprisonment to account. Continue reading “Dresden, Germany: Fire Set in Prison Construction Office” →

Don’t forget to turn off the light on your way out

The modern world has held us hostage non stop, ever since childhood, venting the merits of security and making us forget the copious dose of servitude we must accept in return for progress through a series of increasingly poorly kept promises.

As the horizons that present themselves at the forefront of civilisation’s advances continue to darken – the ravaging of wilderness, the increasing domestication of the living, the artificialisation of beings – the present world continues its frantic race, making it ever more dependent on energy infrastructures and the products they consume and produce: oil, uranium, electricity.

In the space of less than two centuries, the production of electricity and the increasing electrification of spaces has continued to expand and colonise every part of our lives.

Initially, only a few businesses and industries used electric energy. Then the technique gradually spread to domestic use. Today, we carry and use more and more accessories in our daily lives at every moment, in our pockets or on our wrists, and they give rhythm to the slightest moment of our existence to the point of their use being completely normalized.

What is clear is that a technique that was once marginal and reserved for a few industries has taken on an exponential and diffuse dimension, imposing its reign in the span of a few generations.

If getting out of the digital web seems an increasingly complex challenge to realize, trying to escape from a world in which all relationships are subject to electricity is even more so. Thessaloniki, Greece: Explosive attack on the offices of the Fifth Tax Office

Posted on 2021/09/20 - 2021/09/24 by darknights

When the enclaves of financial totalitarianism mortgage the lives of the proletarian grassroots to fill the coffers of the temples of capitalist barbarism, we have a duty to intervene. It is a matter of social conscience and sensitivity, class solidarity and revolutionary obligation that we too should not treat our lives as mere numbers in the bloodthirsty hands of the bosses. That is why we will remind the enemy that in this war, as long as there is injustice there will always be revolutionary retaliation.

The case of 52-year-old Konstantia Eleftheropoulou, which has seen the light of day in recent days, is unfortunately not the only one, however provocative it may be. She herself was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2017. Since then, she has been fighting for her life through non-stop treatments, reaching the point of stabilizing her condition. This year, however, after a relapse in her health, Konstantia needed to undergo intravenous brachytherapy, a specialized treatment that is not administered in a public hospital but only in a private clinic. Unemployed and uninsured like most of us, she was faced with the impossibility of accessing the treatment as the cost of the operation, including hospitalisation, exceeds €15,000 (perhaps the equivalent of a ministerial dinner). But Konstantia was not alone in facing her inability. Her public appeal for support and help found hundreds of people in solidarity at her side, who gave everything they could to help, so that one of us could survive collectively against the homicidal state mechanism that has made health a commodity, a class privilege and a luxury.

The case of Konstantia could be a small beacon of hope against the growing dystopia that statism wants to impose against the interests of the exploited. A small class victory of life in the face of generalised proletarian death. Because for us every life of our ally counts. But there are no words to describe the despicable turn in the state management of the case by the exploitative mechanisms. The tax office blocked Konstantia’s account, freezing solidarity contributions due to a previous unpaid balance, postponing indefinitely the start of her treatment. Those who have deliberately degenerated the public health system to line the pockets of every megalomaniac, who have made a profession of economic repression through administrative fines in every aspect of daily life, are deploying every weapon to neutralize the social base in the face of their profits. This will not go away. Filled with hatred and anger for the state’s negligence and the authoritarianism of the voracious state totalitarianism, we take responsibility for the arson attack with low-powered devices on the premises of the Fifth Tax Office in eastern Thessaloniki, in the early hours of 17 September. Konstantia and every Konstantia is not alone in the struggle for life and dignity. And this struggle is not a struggle of begging for crumbs but a relentless fight for the obvious. For we have no one but ourselves.

This is not the first time that social and class solidarity has been suppressed, as every step of support from below is always met with the deliberate bureaucratic negligence of a mechanism that prioritises profits over our lives. Let us recall the case of the 3-year-old Panagiotis Vassileli from Mytilene in 2001. Little Panayiotis was suffering from a rare form of leukaemia, which required his immediate transfer to New York to undergo surgery and treatment at a cost of over 130,000,000 drachmas. And while the amount had been raised through a huge effort of social and class mobilization, the National Bank blocked the account, citing a 1931 law that freezes the money unless a fund-raising committee is first established. The result of this development was the death of little Panagiotis who recoiled in the face of the bureaucratic apathy of the dictatorship of financial totalitarianism. Our attack on the Fifth Tax Office is a first warning in every direction: open Konstantia’s account immediately, before you gather your ashes in the face of yet another state murder. If Konstantia’s health suffers a new relapse, the sole responsibility this time will be the incurable disease of state totalitarianism. We have no illusions about the inflated promises of the political staff and the tearful statements of support from the media circles that wash away the image of state crime when a complaint sees the light of day. With faith and commitment to the forces of our own class, we are fighting this unequal struggle against all forms of exploitation and power. And if we die, we die with our heads held high and full of dignity. We send a special message of practical solidarity to Konstantia Zafeiropoulou: this battle is ours too, until the end, until victory.

Immediate unblocking of Konstantia Zafeiropoulou’s account

Exemplary punishment of those responsible for the power games on her life

Free access to health care must be a non-negotiable social good

Berlin, Germany: Molotov cocktail attack on police station in Tiergarten district

Posted on 2021/09/20 - 2021/09/20 by darknights

Some see an injustice in the institutions of the executive. Here, the officers hit a left-wing sit-in too hard in order to allow a right-wing march to pass, there they would act too gently against lateral thinkers, migrants would be deported to “unsafe” countries of origin, and if an officer’s trigger leads to death, he should be brought to court for his irregular actions, since he must have acted out of personal rather than professional motivation.

It is this attitude that sees the police as a more or less neutral hinge between rebellious forces in society and those who strive to live in a peaceful, democratic and tolerant agreement. It is this attitude that imagines itself morally on the side of the good and innocent and ignores structural differences and privileges, which could be the reason why the cudgel is rarely aimed at their heads. This attitude leads to the abstruse reproach to the police squad: “Where were you in Hanau?”. This attitude represents a distrust of the individual, who could not live in a society with others without authority and the threat of repression. It is this attitude that makes you wonder if you won’t dial 110 in an emergency? It is this attitude that makes the narrative of the individual case possible.
It is this attitude that asserts that violence against the police is violence against people like you and me. This attitude allows the uniform or badge to be seen as a garment, an occupational utensil, rather than a globally legitimized expression of a function.

Cops all over the world have the function to detect the smallest rebellion against the system of capital, against the system of patriarchy, to press it into the logic of criminal law (i.e. to present it as non-political), to discredit it and to appropriate it. In the struggle for interpretive sovereignty, their goal is to control and crush this rebellion, with visible or subtle violence, depending on the balance of power and the form of government.
In this sense, the system of subjugating every element of our lives to the standard of norming and hierarchization according to property, body, religion, gender, origin, and attitude that prevails everywhere is manifested.
Their use cannot be judged in the categories of unjust or unjustified. The institutionalization of the police has never been about justice. The police are a system of domination and any narrative of humanity behind the uniform serves only to obscure social conditions. Bogotá, Colombia: Police Station Attacked, 3 Cops Injured

Posted on 2021/09/20 by darknights

One year after the assassination of Javier Ordoñez, a student, by the police, a police station was attacked and three cops were injured in the Brasilia neighborhood of Bogotá on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.

Organized groups of revolutionaries fought against the public force, burned tires and closed roads in the south and north of the city.

A police motorcycle was also incinerated in the uprising.

Paris, France: Arson of an Enedis vehicle

Posted on 2021/09/20 - 2021/09/20 by darknights

A former dictator once said that communism is the soviets plus electricity. This image shows how compatible his worldview was with today’s society. The passage of time has shown us how false the promises of technical progress were. But the “empowerment” of workers, who no longer need foremen because they have them in their heads, or citizen involvement in the management of the “common good” are increasingly used as instruments of social pacification.

Instead, we prefer the equation “anarchy is fire plus freely and temporarily associated individuals”.

Wanting to continue to put small obstacles in the way of the incessant production of electricity, we also wanted to target Enedis.

On the night of the 10th to the 11th of September, we burned down an Enedis vehicle on the rue du Banquier in Paris.

Even if our strength is not comparable to that of state repression, attacks by small groups allow us to be unpredictable. May the autumn nights live with a thousand fires!

A thought for Boris, a wink of solidarity to all those who act against this world.
