Berlin, Germany: You are the crisis – Episode 17: Police supplier Peugeot

A series of attacks around the world on car dealerships and authorized dealers of certain vehicle brands in recent years opened up the suggestion of a strategic line: anyone who provides mobility and transportation for the police is treated as an enemy. In the police equipment market, a handful of corporations compete for the favor of state death squads.

We are facing them, on the side of the mass riots in the French state against the “pension reform”, in the hot neighborhoods of the banlieues where BAC and other units have been killing for decades, on the side of our comrades in Sainte-Soline, with the insurgents of the French colonies … , everywhere where with Peugeot the vehicles of one of the most important vehicle manufacturers of France are in use.

To give just a few examples, also in Greece we see the same enemies of freedom as helpers of the Greek police. Almost four hundred Peugeot 308 were handed over as new patrol cars. With tinted windows “to transport delinquents inconspicuously”, the group advertises its product.

Peugeot Deutschland GmbH supplies the Saarland police with everything the technocratic brain desires, 120 patrols, 80 undercover investigation vehicles, vans …

On the night of April 21, we burned twenty-five vehicles on the premises of the Peugeot dealership on Landsberger Allee in Berlin-Marzahn. Among them fancy electric SUVs and several vans (presumably leased vehicles) of the security company ISS. ISS is not only involved in the operation of jails but also through a share in the company UNISON in the destruction and privatization of parks in Athens. Berlin, Germany: Construction machine of the company Hentschke Bau GmbH set on fire

On Tuesday night, we placed incendiary devices at a construction machine of the company Hentschke Bau GmbH in Berlin-Adlershof. Already a few years ago, comrades claimed responsibility for several attacks on the infrastructure of this company, which is also responsible for the construction of the prison in Zwickau. (https://chronik.blackblogs.org/?p=10502) The company was also brought into focus because its owner Jörg Drews is affiliated with the fascist party AfD.

The ruling ideology says that it is necessary to keep people in constant fear so that they do not resist patriarchal and colonial oppression and docilely join the capitalist routine so that they can ultimately be shaped and standardized. All the more encouraging are the signs of those who, even in the moment of almost total isolation, confront fear and do not fall silent in their struggle for a world of solidarity, mutual aid and self-organization. As we take it from the words of the Italian prisoner Alfredo Cospito, who has been on hunger strike for over 6 months since last October to fight against the 41bis regime imposed on him:

“I simply cannot live under an inhumane regime as 41bis means, where I cannot freely read what I want, books, newspapers, anarchist magazines, magazines of art and science as well as literature and history. The only way to escape the regime is to give up my identity as an anarchist and sell it to someone else to take my place. A regime in which I cannot have human contact, in which I cannot pick a handful of herbs or hug a loved one. A regime in which the photos of our parents are stolen. Buried alive in a tomb, in a place of death. I will continue my struggle to the extreme, not because of an “accusation,” but because this is not life.”

Although the hunger strike has ended and we are happy to know Alfredo is alive, this does not mean that we will stop fighting against the prison society. On the contrary, his struggle for dignity, as well as the numerous attacks in which comrades themselves risked their freedom, wrote words of solidarity and in this way connected with each other worldwide, have inspired us. With the strength unleashed by the hunger strike, we continue on the path of attacking all that the world of incarceration and punishment embodies. Athens, Greece: Responsibility claim for the attack on the head of the Prison Control Inspectorate by Direct Action Cells – ‘Cell Katerina Goulioni’

The Direct Action Cells take responsibility for the attack with a low-powered incendiary/explosive device at the home of the head of the Inspection and Control Corps of the Detention Facilities and Deputy Prosecutor of Appeals Spyridoulas Presveias at 13 Solomou Street in the area of Glyfada, in the early hours of 1/4.

We are sending a clear message to prison prosecutors, prison wardens, prison officers, wardens, directors, social workers who choose to treat prisoners as second-class citizens. Who choose to play dirty political games on their backs. Who become agents of the Ministry of Civil Protection in order to advance themselves and their careers. Gather round because you will find us in front of you. The prosecutor we targeted is at the top of the institution responsible for the internal control of prisons and is directly responsible for all the injustices suffered by prisoners, especially after the passage of the new penal and new prison code.

Spyridoulas Presvias as the head of the Prison Inspection and Control Corps (ΣΕΕΚΚ) is the person whose responsibilities concern the most authoritarian parts of the anti-crime policy. He was appointed by the (former) secretary general of anti-crime policy Sophia Nikolaou, a failed New Democracy politician and declared enemy of prisoners, who a few years ago did everything in her power to murder the communist revolutionary Dimitris Koufontinas. In recent years, and after her appointment as its head, the ΣΕΕΚΚ, in addition to conducting investigations and files within the prison, has been upgraded to a body that can take legislative and administrative initiatives to further repress prisoners within the prison. This agency and the upgrading of its repressive tools is part of the broader planning of the New Democracy government for prisons as reflected in the new penal code and the new penitentiary code and a number of other repressive moves they call anti-crime policy. The state may talk about a “war on crime”, but in reality the policies that follow these declarations do not reduce crime, nor do they work to promote the cohesion of society. On the contrary, these policies are the intensification of the war through the systematic class, social and political exclusion declared by the ruling classes against the social base. And the prisons constitute the ultimate point, the absolute domination of this exclusion over the bodies of those who end up in the concrete tombs of bourgeois democracy. UPDATES on the GENOA TRIAL of GIANLUCA and EVELIN.

The undoubted crisis that the capitalist mode of production is going through today manifests itself in an economy that bases its wealth on war, on the robbery and plundering of the commodity-rich global south, and in the sharpening of the class struggle.

While it is true that capitalism continually seeks “alternative” solutions that will ensure its continuation, often succeeding in finding them and thus creating new pockets of profit for the market, it is also true that the resource crisis and especially today’s climate crisis will not grant alternatives to this parasitic presence for long.
The commodity crisis affects not only the production of secondary consumer goods in the technology, war and digital industries, but also primary resources such as water. This leads not only to a change in geopolitical arrangements, but also to internal conflicts between exploited and exploiters as the example of reservoirs in France or mining in Germany highlights. Objectively, even in Italy, beyond the obvious shortcomings of radical opposition initiatives, the “hunt for ore” or residual gas supplies are accentuating the extractive machine of ruthless multinationals that destroy territories to increase their profits, with the favor of state concessions.

But the crisis of production is a possible prospect today, which is why states are organizing in an attempt to assert their interests and prevent radical struggles and forms of internal guerrilla warfare.

Against this backdrop the authoritarian turn underway in Italy and elsewhere takes shape, which on the one hand is evident in the adoption of economic and “social” policies aimed at ever greater class exploitation, and on the other in the tightening of repression against political crimes.

In the last period the authoritarian turn taken by the state has clearly and heavily characterized the exclusively political reading of social events and struggles by entering even the judicial spheres. It has strongly conditioned the use of repression with the application of punitive instruments that remain an objective problem for political prisoners, such as 41 bis, hostility and crimes arbitrarily reinterpreted, reformulated and used in a vindictive way as massacre and associative crimes. DN Note: We have been informed by comrades in Italy that comrade Alfredo has only interrupted his hunger strike, that the isolation that is 41 bis prevents us knowing what his real motivations are at present.

About the constitutional court hearing on the convictions for anarchists Alfredo Cospito and Anna Beniamino in the Scripta Manent trial (Rome, April 18, 2023)

A hearing was held today in the constitutional court on the case of Alfredo Cospito and Anna Beniamino on charges of political massacre (art. 285 c. p.) within the Scripta Manent trial.

The current Cirielli law (year 2005, Berlusconi government) prevents mitigating factors from outweighing aggravating factors in the case of recidivism. In Alfredo Cospito’s case, in particular, this would have resulted in a certain sentence of hostile life imprisonment despite the fact that the action he and Anna are accused of did not cause any victims.

The court therefore found this provision unconstitutional. More, reading the terse press release that came out of the building, the court seems to have raised constitutionality doubts in general with respect to all those cases in which the fixed penalty is configured solely as life imprisonment.

Recall that Alfredo Cospito has been on hunger strike for almost 6 months precisely against 41 bis and hostile life imprisonment. A struggle for which his comrade is risking his life and during which he may already have suffered permanent neurological damage. A struggle that Alfredo has always reiterated is not just for himself, but for everyone, particularly in solidarity with anarchist, communist and revolutionary prisoners. Today’s decision will have consequences not only for the fate of our comrade, but is a blow, however circumscribed, to the institution of life imprisonment in this country. Chile: In the face of the removal of the Noticias de la guerra social website

In 2014, we started this counter-information project dedicated to disseminating and documenting the various attacks on the domain, some of them claimed and others anonymous, maintaining a simple format that kept alive only in and with the very pulse of the conflict.

Without worrying too much, we decided to use the most popular service at the time, “wordpress,” since the websites hosted in other “alternative” servers (noblogs, espiv, altervista, lahaine, entodaspartes, etc.) were not considered to be “alternative”. [altervista does not qualify as an “alternative” server, since it is part of the Mondadori group, ed.]) were often removed, either due to repressive attacks or simply due to the termination of their respective projects.

In October-November 2022 https://noticiasdelaguerrasocial.wordpress.com/ was removed from the web, losing that valuable archive and tool for communication and information among antagonists. Far from appealing to “freedom of expression” or complaining about the servers’ own “privacy policies,” we merely noted the fragility of Internet-based projects. Fragility that we knew a priori, but we decided to bet on informal communication and the diffusion of living and latent conflict.

Questions remain in the air: what are the characteristics of our media? How solid are they? What is their degree of autonomy? Do we have our own infrastructure of communication and counter-information? How dependent or susceptible are we? Nantes, France: The night of the barricades

The pyromaniac at the Élysée Palace set the fire. In Nantes, as throughout France, spontaneous calls against the 49-3 brought tens of thousands of people together within a few hours. It was no longer about pensions, but about the “revolution” that was sung in chorus in the demonstration marches.

In Nantes, the repressive apparatus that has terrorized the city for months was caught off guard this time: even with all its grenades, it could not quell the rage.

For several hours, dozens of barricades burned throughout the city center. The whole heart of Nantes smells of burnt plastic and tear gas, but it’s a boost of oxygen: finally, people are raising their heads.

Various shop windows of capitalist businesses are smashed. The CRS1 assaults are kept at bay by impressive fireworks. Many trade unionists hold the street together with the youth. In the Rue de Strasbourg, the BAC2 has to flee under the throwing of Molotov cocktails. A huge fire softens the asphalt. The city center belongs to the demonstrators! Several marches move in different places in a yellow vest atmosphere. In the alleys of Bouffay, you no longer know who is demonstrating and who is coming out of the bars, because “everyone hates the police”. There is singing on the terraces. Luxury boutiques and flagships of multinationals are cleared. Until 1 a.m., the forces of order cannot move without being insulted from everywhere. At 11 p.m., a fire is still burning on the Cours des 50 Otages, and demonstrators are driven away by volleys of grenades. After midnight, the Rue de Strasbourg is still blocked, torn up and torn up again, and littered with projectiles for hundreds of meters. The word “revenge” is written in red letters on a wall.

As soon as the French state does not march several dozen militarized squadrons in our city, as soon as the union leaders do not organize the “dangerous route” requested by the prefecture, the anger of Nantes can finally unleash the full potential of its force. And the numbers don’t matter much, because this night of barricades will have made more noise than the eight previous, well-supervised processions with their tens of thousands of people. Rennes, Nantes, Paris, Marseille or Lyon, the fire is spreading.

After canceling a trip to the Gironde region, Gérald Darmanin (Minister of the Interior) convened all prefects of France this morning for a video conference on the “social situation”. Four more years with Macron are unthinkable for everyone. The calls for an “inter-union” day in a week seem ridiculous. After this night of rage, we should act without delay.

We claim the detonation of a homemade explosive device placed at an ATM of the Banco Bienestar located on the outskirts of the city of Oaxaca, a territory dominated by the Mexican state.

In the early morning of 14/02/23. We ignited the explosive. In the distance we heard the bang and the alarms of the bank. We calculated a more powerful impact that would cause greater damage to the ATM, and break for a moment with the tedium of social peace. This time the action was silenced by the henchmen of order and the press. We will sharpen the knife better for the next one. This seditious gesture is a combative salute to Alfredo Cospito and his irreducible war against prison and the 41 B.I.S. isolation regime.

It is clear to us that insurrectional solidarity needs will, courage and gunpowder.
We must intensify the conflict by pushing forward the attack!

The state, including the democratic state, is the greatest danger to the life and liberty of all living beings. It allows capitalism to flourish by ensuring the stability it needs through its punitive and repressive system. Everything and everyone must submit to its rules for the defense of mastery. Rules that serve to keep society pacified. The ability to conflate with this system of oppression and exploitation is stemmed through prevention, by keeping an eye on and placing in an asphyxiating system of social reintegration anyone who does not comply, and through the courts when thought becomes action, whether it is refusal of work and illegalism or direct action and subversion. Of individuals who choose to stay out of the social peace, there have always been some, so the criminal justice system takes on great importance for the maintenance of the state.

In every court every day hundreds of exploited people are sentenced. At blows of sentences men and women are buried in jails and their relationships of friendship and love mutilated. By blows of explosives structures will be struck and men of power maimed.

For every death at sea, in jail, of labor, in CPRs, not one but 100 bombs to the bosses.

Your cameras and guards sifting the city will never be enough to stop the action from penetrating your buildings.

On the night of Feb. 21, we placed an explosive device in the back door of the Pisa courthouse. We do not know if the deflagration occurred, but we would like to emphasize that this action takes on no small importance: we proved that it is possible to get close to the palaces of power and strike.

To counterterrorism: we know that you are preparing countless arrests for all these months of mobilization. Damn freeloaders, know that the blows of us oppressed will soon reach your hands.

The decisions made by Roberto Sparagna, by former Justice Minister Marta Cartabia, by the Rome Supervisory Court, up to those made by the current Justice Minister Nordio, will have historic importance for the quality of revolutionary violence.
