Cooperating Witness Testimony Contradicts State Case in Second Week of Landmark Prairieland ICE Detention Center Trial (USA)

Posted on 2026/03/11 - 2026/03/11 by darknights

Defense Case is Vindicated by Testimony from Multiple Cooperating Witnesses, as Prosecution Prepares to Call Controversial Expert Witness on “Antifa”

FORT WORTH, TX – Defendants in the landmark Prairieland trial were vindicated by testimony from cooperating state witnesses over the past three days, in a case that stems from a noise demonstration at the Prairieland ICE Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas on July 4, 2025. The prosecution called to the stand multiple defendants who have taken cooperating plea deals, affirming many of the defense’s key arguments about the case. The cooperating witnesses clearly stated that the noise demonstration was intended to show solidarity with those detained at the Prairieland facility, and not to enact violence, as the state has claimed. The witnesses also reiterated that defendants were not part of a unified group, let alone a terrorist organization. Their testimony also highlighted how conditions inside the jail created intense pressure to accept plea bargains, rather than a genuine admission of guilt.

Cooperating defendant Lynette Sharp’s testimony overwhelmingly strengthened the defense’s case, even though she was called as a witness by the federal government. On Thursday, Sharp continued her testimony from the previous day, when she began to cry while identifying the defendants in the courtroom, stating that they were “her friends,” and “[she] love[d] them.” In a major revelation, Sharp agreed with the defense that no one that night intended to hurt a police officer and instead stated, “From my understanding, it was a noise demo.”

Sharp further testified—contrary to the government’s allegations—that she was not a member of “antifa,” and that the left-wing reading group, the Emma Goldman Book Club, which several defendants allegedly attended, was not used to recruit individuals into “antifa.” Continue reading “Cooperating Witness Testimony Contradicts State Case in Second Week of Landmark Prairieland ICE Detention Center Trial (USA)” →

Release Komar – Stop the Repression (Indonesia)

Posted on 2026/03/11 - 2026/03/11 by darknights

Our anarchist comrade Komar (Muhammad Ainun Komarullah) was arrested by police from Surabaya when he was released from Kebon Waru prison after serving a sentence for instigation related to the Black Bloc Zone blog and Instagram account. The arrest by the Surabaya police is a vindictive revenge against Komar, due to the fierce and humiliating clashes that took place in that locality. Hundreds of young people, delivery drivers, taxi drivers and precarious workers were rounded up in the aftermath of the anti-state uprising and brutally tortured. Police violence cannot hide the fact that the regime uses systematic torture. Let’s not leave this comrade alone in the hands of the police, write to Komar, send solidarity post here:

Tasikmalaya Regency Pipe Bomb Case Begins + Komar is Gate Arrested (Indonesia)

Posted on 2026/03/10 - 2026/03/10 by darknights

10.3.26 : On February 26th, the trial began for another section of the comrades of the Chaos Star Case (Adit, Opal, Pem, Herdi and Hugo [informant]). This case is about a pipe bomb that exploded which destroyed a police post in Gentong, Tasikmalaya Regency in December 2024. The action was claimed by the Free Association of Autonomous Fires. The communique can be found in the Blessed Is The Flame chronicle and was also published on Dark Nights. The action was declared in solidarity with Alfredo Cospito, Nikos Romanos and all anarchist prisoners.

The comrades are being threatened with up to 25 years in prison. The anti-terrorist unit, Densus 88, tortured the comrades badly, including trying to damage their sight. The prosecutors maintain they have everything for a conviction, as well as the words of a snitch, Hugo. On early February 15 police officers from the Criminal Investigation Unit of the West Java Regional Police Headquarters went to Kebon Waru prison because Hugo reported that there was a threat to his life. These are the police that paid him as he coldly smoked cigarettes during the torture of our comrades and gave his “evidence”. All the comrades remain imprisoned in Kebon Waru.

On March 8th, we received the latest information that our comrade Ainun K “Komar” (a Chaos Star prisoner) was supposed to be released from the detention center in Bandung, but was immediately re-arrested by the Surabaya City Police (Polrestabes Surabaya) on suspicion of incitement through the Instagram account @blackbloczone. This new kidnapping comes as Komar has already been imprisoned for five months on the same charge in West Java. The Surabaya police are using the new laws which require less evidence and judicial process to revenge our comrade. Many of the imprisoned comrades are due for release but the tactics of the police bastards have to be confronted. What is particulary ridiculous is the accusation against Komar, is that he is responsible for the mass insurrection which took place in Surabaya, which completely humiliated the police and lead to their facilities being widespread destroyed. Release Komar now!

Bristol, UK: Forty fascists, 200 cops, and a city that wasn’t having it

Bristol Patriots march 7 march 2026
Bristol Patriots – 40 fascists protected by 200 police

An embarrassing collection of around 40 far-right activists called out by the Bristol ‘Patriots’ attempted to march through Bristol city centre yesterday but were heavily outnumbered by anti-racist counter-demonstrators and had to be protected all the way by a large police operation.

The fascist march, laughingly styled a “March for Unity”, assembled at the Cenotaph on St Augustine’s Parade before attempting to march through Broadmead, Cabot Circus and Castle Park.

However, their mobilisation drew strong opposition from local anti-racist and anti-fascist activists, who organised a counter-demonstration in the city centre and harried them throughout the afternoon.

Anti-fascists block the route

Police deployed more than 200 officers, including mounted units, to protect the fascists, and considerable force was used against anti-fascists trying to block the fascists’ route.

Around 200 counter-protesters repeatedly attempted to confront the march, chanting “Bristol is anti-fascist” and “refugees are welcome here” as the ‘Patriots’ moved slowly through the shopping district.

Their tiny contingent meant that police had to form a protective cordon around them for much of the afternoon.

According to Avon and Somerset Police, six people were arrested on suspicion of offences including violent disorder, assault and obstructing a police officer.

Batons and horses were used to push crowds back when the fascists’ route was blocked off. Continue reading “Bristol, UK: Forty fascists, 200 cops, and a city that wasn’t having it” →

Fuori Alfredo dal 41 bis
Iniziative a Carrara e a Pisa, 14 e 18 marzo 2026

$hile: Interview with anarchist prisoner Francisco Solar

Posted on 2026/03/09 by darknights

In this fourth interview, we engaged in a dialogue with our anarchist comrade Francisco Solar, acting as a bridge to spread his words and delve deeper into various topics and contexts of interest. His perspective and participation in grassroots projects are vitally important, as they break with the inaction that prison seeks to impose. Throughout this conversation, we address not only aspects related to his personal experience in prison, but also broader political reflections on the ongoing struggles and challenges facing anarchist circles.

1.- How are you doing now? Could you tell us a little about your experience in La Gonzalina prison? What differences do you see between the prison systems in Europe and Chile?

Almost a year ago, I left the maximum security wing where I had spent almost five years and moved to a high security wing with a normal regime, which basically means eight hours of yard time and the possibility of conjugal visits.

Based on the above, my situation is clearly more favorable, as I am not subject to the restrictions of a maximum security regime. However, sharing my daily life with fellow anarchists and subversives who were already in this unit makes prison life much more bearable. Escaping at times from the harmful authoritarian dynamics that exist among prisoners and trying to practice relationships that are contrary to these is a constant challenge and struggle that involves constant questioning. It is clear that we are not an island within this unit; we deal with contradictions and obviously sometimes reproduce behaviors that we say we reject. However, our dynamics, those of the anarchist and subversive prisoners, are different from those of the rest of the prisoners. Our relationships are not based on the stark authoritarianism of the other prisoners, and that is evident.

My daily routine consists of playing sports in the yard, talking and walking with my compañeros, and reading. As I have pointed out in other writings, it is important to have a daily routine, which, at least in my case, allows me to maintain a certain mental clarity and avoid falling into prison despair.

The differences between the Chilean prison system and that of Spain lie mainly in control. The Spanish prison system has managed to discipline life inside prisons through constant and prolonged adjustments to its control strategies. Through the FIES (Ficheros de Internos de Especial Seguimiento, Special Investigation and Security Unit) and dispersion, the Prison Service has pacified Spanish prisons, even managing to turn prisoners into their own jailers, as can be seen in the increasingly numerous “respect modules.”

Although the Chilean prison system is moving towards exercising control in the “Spanish” (or European) manner, the truth is that it is still a long way from achieving this. The control mechanisms are much more precarious and ineffective, which leads, among other things, to the establishment of certain “rules” imposed by the prisoners themselves within prison life. These rules are based on extreme authoritarianism that produces and reproduces relationships of outright slavery among the prisoners themselves. If solidarity was once present in these dynamics, today such relationships have been virtually relegated to make way for ostentation and the aforementioned authoritarianism that makes prison life a hostile environment. $hile: Subversive compañero Tomás González escapes from the ex penitentiary

On February 25, 2026, former subversive prisoner Tomás González, along with another prisoner, escaped from the ex penitentiary dressed as a prison guard.
Comrade Tomás was sentenced to more than 21 years in prison (16 years for shooting at police officers to avoid arrest in May 2022) and 5 years (pending for carrying a Molotov cocktail) for the murder of police officer José Luis Rodríguez. Comrade Tomás was sentenced to more than 21 years in prison (16 years for shooting at police officers to avoid arrest in May 2022) and 5 years (pending for carrying a Molotov cocktail).

In the face of the repressive measures that are beginning to be imposed inside and outside, the call is not to provide any information useful to the repression. No collaboration is acceptable! No photos of our comrade, no information about his surroundings or connections given to the police!

Long escape and life to the comrades on the run and in hiding. All our strength and solidarity to those who still resist in prison.

“I cherish every moment in which I can,
together with my comrades, learn from the experiences that different generations have
passed down since ancient times, based on solidarity and humility.
Nothing is over, because the task continues to contribute in a concrete way.
Those who live fighting walk, opening paths wherever and however they can.
Autonomous and illegal, that is our horizon.”

Chile: Some repercussions following the escape of subversive prisoner Tomas González from the ex Penitentiary

At noon on February 25, 2026, former subversive prisoner Tomás González and another inmate managed to escape from the former penitentiary dressed as prison guards. Tomás was serving a 21-year prison sentence for throwing Molotov cocktails and resisting arrest with gunfire.

Once the news broke and a media storm erupted, the prison service decided to remove the Regional Director and the senior staff of the former penitentiary: the Warden, the Chief of Operations, and the Chief of Internal Affairs. Loud statements from ministers and members of the government were broadcast on television during the first few days, along with a photograph of the fugitive.

The investigation was carried out by the Western District Attorney’s Office and the Investigative Police, who on March 2 conducted a series of raids in Maipú, La Granja, and the Pablo Vergara Toledo Community Space in Villa Francia.

Achieve and defend “freedom” by any means necessary!

Run, compa, run!

Indonesia is an archipelago of cancerous exploitation which the UK is complicit in to the tune of 2.86 billion dollars. British Petroleum, has been devastating the West Papuan landscape for 20 years, paying the local army to murder and torture the indigenous resistance as they go,in order to obtain “natural gas”. The commodity the UK imports in largest quantities from Indonesia is Nickel. Nickel mines have razed Sulawesi forests, unleashing mass poisoning of water sources through its chemical processing.
This metal is particularly necessary for electric batteries the UK consumes for the plague of e-vehicles as part of its totalitarian ‘green’ transition. The urban centers of Indonesia are littered with gigantic slums of ‘surplus’ human material, excluded from the world economy. The desperate struggle for survival under this regime makes ideal conditions for recruitment to the modern slavery of the sweat-shops which manufacture and export Nike trainers. ATM Bank Arson Barrage in Thessaloniki, Greece

Posted on 2026/02/25 by darknights

We take responsibility for the 6 following arsons:

• The arson at the Alpha Bank ATM in the early hours of December 31st on Artakis Street
• The arson at an Alpha Bank ATM in the early hours of January 7 on Siniosoglou Street
• The ATM arson in the early hours of January 13 on Antigonidon Street

In a world where everything is programmed to work like clockwork for the benefit of the system, there will always be pockets of rebellion. As anarchists in action, we do not want to limit ourselves to clashes with cops on marches (which we obviously consider necessary) but choose to open new dialectics on the street. We refuse to wait for social conditions to mature in order to attack and we propose direct action as a perspective for attacking in the here and now. Opening Arguments and Testimony from Alvarado Officer at Center of Prairieland Case Marks First Day of Landmark Trial Against Nine Defendants (USA)

Posted on 2026/02/25 by darknights
Testimony of Lt. Thomas Gross Undermined Government Arguments that the Noise Protest on July 4, 2025 Was an “Ambush” and “Planned Attack”
FORT WORTH, TX – Opening arguments and testimony from the Alvarado police officer at the center of the controversial Prairieland ICE Detention Center case marked the first day of trial yesterday against nine defendants. The federal government offered no new or compelling arguments in their opening statement and relied heavily on First Amendment-protected activity to make their case. However, during cross-examination, Alvarado police officer Lt. Thomas Gross revealed information that undermines the government’s narrative that the noise demonstration on July 4, 2025 was an “ambush” and that police were the targets of a “planned attack.”

During today’s proceedings, the defense team was able to cross-examine Lt. Gross, who was injured at the scene. This is the first time Gross has spoken publicly since the incident. He described a hectic scene with few details, claiming to see only a small handful of male individuals, despite multiple women defendants in the case.

On cross-examination, Lt. Gross said he spent between 2-4 hours in the hospital before being released, and could not explain why he appears to have been shot from the back despite also claiming to have been facing the person who the government alleges fired at him. Gross could not say who drew their weapon first, but he admitted drawing his weapon without any obvious threat. Gross stated that when he arrived on the scene, there was no alleged criminal activity being committed more serious than “criminal mischief.” In response to questions from defense attorney Phillip Hayes, Gross admitted that he was pointing his firearm at a fleeing person’s back, before encountering the individual holding a rifle. This testimony seemed to contradict the government’s claim that the police were ambushed.
