Greece: Letter from anarchist prisoner Thanos Chatziangelou to the anarchist prisoners Monica Caballero and Francisco Solar, for the International Week of Solidarity with Anarchist Prisoners

Posted on 2022/11/16 - 2022/11/16 by darknights

DN: Missed from 18th August

Comrades Monica and Francisco,

These words travel to your side from a cell far from your own. They carry with them the same complicit thoughts that crush borders and walls. The same persistence and impatience to return to the paths of fire. These thoughts do not die every day on the bars and uniformed figures that separate us. They remain alive accompanying the same necessity for yet another coherent plan to deliver to fire and gunpowder the order and security of this aging world.

Day by day more and more pieces of sky are being given away to the steel grid. And one question torments my head more and more: is it the concrete that grows taller or is it bowing its head lower and lower? But life itself comes to answer. Prison will not defeat us, comrades. For we remain with the same pride, wholeheartedly committed to the horizon of overthrow.

New formations of direct action are being formed in the territories where we have hitherto declared ourselves irrevocably present. New plans of attack are taking shape, travelling to all the metropolitan centres the deafening necessity of attacking the exponents of violence and exploitation of the oppressed.

Travelling to the present day, the words of the Italian guerrillas of armed autonomy are necessary to remind our tyrants that uncertainty is the most unbearable thing. No matter how many years of captivity may pass, we will remain irrevocably committed to the vein of imprinting theory through practice, proudly defending the anarchist guerrilla war. We are the links in the coherence of the past, present and future of insubordination, rupture and subversion. We will not be broken by incarceration for a moment. For will and necessity in the face of captivity are like the hands of a clock: while time tries in vain to divide them, they traverse individual revolutionary paths beginning and ending always at the same point.

I send you my wholehearted sympathy while holding my breath for the hostilities to come. All our strength to the incarcerated international community of anarchist guerrilla warfare and a raised fist to every fighting initiative that insists on clashing head-on with the order of this world.

Immediate release of comrade Marcelo Vilarroel Sepulveda

We do not forget the revolutionaries everywhere who have honoured with their lives the barricades of proletarian violence.

Chile: 4 comrades arrested for the incendiary attack on the meat company “Susaron”

Posted on 2022/11/15 by darknights

On November 3, the BIPE (Brigade of Special Police Investigations) of the PDI arrested 4 comrades accused of the incendiary attack carried out by the ” Grupo de Respuesta Animal” on September 18, 2022 against trucks of the meat company “Susaron” in the commune of Quilicura.

The investigation would have allowed through surveillance cameras to track the car where they were moving, in addition to triangulating the signal of cell phones in the house where they had gathered before and after the incendiary attack.

Two comrades were also charged with possession of ammunition in the homes that were raided and the four were charged with arson.

The three comrades were taken to Santiago 1 prison/company and the comrade to San Miguel Prison.

Active solidarity with the arrested anti-speciesist comrades!

Chile: Communiqué of the “Anti-prison Solidarity Network with Juan and Marcelo” 15 years after the so-called Security Case

Posted on 2022/11/15 by darknights

15 YEARS AFTER THE SO-CALLED SECURITY CASE: MARCELO VILLARROEL AND JUAN ALISTE WITH THEIR FISTS RAISED IN DIGNIFIED RESISTANCE TO IMPRISONMENT AS STATE REVENGE.

On October 18, 2007, a group of people carried out a robbery at a branch of the Banco Security located in the center of Santiago in Chile. In the retreat, two police motorists who were alerted and went to the vicinity tried to stop part of the assailants and clashed with them shooting one policeman dead and the other wounded, thus the expropriators escaped from the police encirclement.

After the events and the death of the policeman, the state operations would be unleashed in a matter of weeks against a universe of subversive autonomous comrades who would be exposed in all the mass media of power: Freddy Fuentevilla (in the street), Carlos Gutiérrez (in the street), Juan Aliste and Marcelo Villarroel (still imprisoned) were immediately condemned by the media, the fabricated public opinion and the rulers in power, while the carabineros began the hunt against them, who were already in hiding, raiding the homes of relatives in Santiago, Valparaíso, Iquique and carrying out multiple operations in Mapuche territory.

Months later (2008) they would be arrested in Argentinean territory (Freddy and Marcelo), convicted (for carrying a weapon of war), spending 22 months in prison and then expelled to Chile. Then Juan would also be detained in Argentina (year 2010) and immediately expelled to Chile. In this way, already in this territory, the comrades would have to face a political trial that would finally condemn Marcelo to 14 years in September 2014 for 2 bank robberies and Juan to 42 years for the death of the policeman, the attempted death of the other policeman and 2 bank robberies. So clear are the figures and reasons why our comrades today are still kidnapped by the state in the prisons of their democracy. Chile: Urgency requires forcefulness: Let’s get Alfredo Cospito out of isolation. Words from comrade Francisco Solar

Posted on 2022/10/28 - 2022/11/16 by darknights

The hunger strike as a tool of struggle is the last resort that the prisoner has to combat the suffocating life in prison. It is an extreme measure in which the body is used as the last trench of combat. The urgency determines the decision to carry out a struggle of these characteristics. An urgency that, undoubtedly, presents today the situation of comrade Alfredo Cóspito, whom the Power tries to silence under an insane isolation.

They perceived his actions as hard blows which, if replicated and multiplied, would put the imposed order in trouble.

They saw in his writings and proposals important contributions to seditious ideas and practices that constitute a danger to any expression of authority.

And they are not wrong.

For these reasons they have decided to apply the 41 bis to Alfredo. In the face of this onslaught we have no choice but to respond with strength, with decision, being clear that this is a struggle for Alfredo and for all of us who take a stand against power. Understanding the importance of fighting this battle, perceiving it as an opportunity to strengthen ties and complicities in an internationalism of action.

This is not a time for reflection or debate. It is a time for war, for violent irruption, to give life and strengthen that revolutionary solidarity that constitutes part of our practical arsenal that we know how to use.

Let us nourish ourselves of our past experiences to make the best of what is ours and let us crack this civic normality with forceful blows that demonstrate the danger of anarchic solidarity.

Let us leave aside the victimist discourses and let us attack Power wherever it is, since that is the only way we have to get Alfredo out of isolation and put an end to 41 bis. And the more forceful these attacks are, the greater their impact will be and, therefore, their capacity of incidence and irruption will increase, which will certainly strengthen the expressions of anarchic solidarity.

Let’s get Alfredo Cóspito out of isolation!

Let’s put an end to 41 bis!

Long live Anarchy!

Francisco Solar

Chile: Words of Mawvnhko. Public statement on the repeated violation of visiting rights and body search protocols

Posted on 2022/10/28 by darknights

A few weeks ago at San Miguel prison, the visiting and entrustment schedule was modified due to the cessation of COVID19 preventive measures. This adjustment consists of: One day of parcels (toiletries and clothing) and two days of visitation, with the condition that only the visit that is during the week is allowed the delivery of food from the outside (food bowls with food, fruits, snacks, among others).

Today, Wednesday, October 19, the prison only had 5 officials to carry out the protocol review, both of people and food. The visiting hours provided is from 09.00 to 11.30 hrs, at about 11.20 hrs there were still colleagues in the visiting area waiting to let in their relatives, even when the bell rang at the end of the visit, not all family members had entered, the right to visit was denied and they were only allowed to receive the bags with food and the family member had to leave immediately, in some cases the visit did not last more than 10 minutes.

To make the situation worse, the gendarmerie officers who carried out the body search protocol demanded that the people undress, forced the women to lower their underwear to make a vaginal inspection with a paddle that rubbed all those who were subdued, threatening that they would not let them enter if they did not give in. I speak of subjugation at this particular point since stripping is a totally forbidden practice and the sensors must be worn over the clothes. Under no circumstances can women be required to show their breasts, vagina or anus, since that is what the digital sensors are for. Faced with this situation, the officials responded that it is part of the protocol, that it has always been like that, when they were summoned regarding an informative poster that exists outside the prison about the body search, they responded that it was “old”, that it no longer exists.

We cannot continue to allow humiliation and denigration to be customary, although these practices have been normalized in the prison daily life, we must not allow them to continue or to go unnoticed, because this is how the jailers exceed their functions, turning the visit into a humiliating experience, totally humiliating. We should not continue to compromise our dignity just so that the jailer will grant us a visit, visits are NOT a benefit and we do not owe them thanks, they are a right explicitly stated in the Prison Regulations.
All these experiences are common in prisons throughout the territory, even I myself lived it when I visited other prisons. It is up to us to do something about it and not let these abusive practices continue!

Mawvnhko.

Santiago, Chile: Responsibility claim for explosive attack against SerCor S.A. subsidiary of AntarChile

Posted on 2022/10/22 - 2022/10/22 by darknights

On the night of October 19, three years after the revolt, we attacked with dynamite the company SerCor located in the Las Condes district, specifically in building 150 of El Golf Avenue.

SerCor S.A. is a company of the corporate center of the Angelini Group that offers consulting and support to company boards for the administrative development of their capitalist businesses. SerCor is under the control of AntarChile, which is a major investment company, also belonging to the Angelini Group, and which manages assets of more than US$20 billion.

AntarChile owns more than 70% of the shares of Forestal Arauco, a company with 1.6 million hectares of monoculture plantations responsible for the degradation and devastation of soils and which severely impacts the minimum conditions that a community needs to live, such as access to water and arable land. In addition, the MAPA project promoted by Arauco plans to modernize the pulp industry in southern Chile, reinforcing transnational extractivism in Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Uruguay, Canada, the United States, Panama, among other countries.

Antar also owns the fishing companies Corpesca, Igemar and Orizon with a control in assets of more than 80%. It should be remembered that the fishing company Corpesca bribed by paying more than 200 million to former senator Jaime Orpis (UDI) and former congresswoman Marta Isasi (former UDI) to defend the industrial fishing interests in the congress. Longueira was another of those who profited from this scheme, known as the “Fishing Law” or “Longueira Law”, which benefited the large fishing industry to the detriment of the autonomous fisherman. Through different suppliers, this politician received a sum of 730 million pesos between September 2009 and March 2015 from the company Corpesca. This bribe was intended to influence the bill to be favorable to large industrial fishing companies. Silvaticus

Posted on 2022/10/18 - 2022/10/18 by darknights

In front of the steamrollers of industrial civilization and progress, one of the last sensible worlds populated by terrifying imagery and enchanted fantasies is disappearing before our eyes: that of the forests. Those that were a fiefdom of the lords who lined the hanged there, or a shelter to escape persecution. Those that represented the darkness where one could abandon one’s hungry offspring or the dense shelter from which to set out on the assault of the existent. Those that harbored mysteries populated by dryads and werewolves or that saw the warship builders and other master forgers come through to strip them en masse. Those that saw in Sherwood daring bandits plundering the rich, in Ariège Demoiselles (*) with soot-covered faces burning and plundering castles, in Courlande of revolutionaries continuing to strike fierce blows against tsarist tyranny, but also witnessing in the Alps or Poland the death by frostbite of migrants driven out by European border guards.

Fundamentally, forests are also ambiguous because of their very etymology, since forest stood for first and foremost the outdoor space not used by villagers-the word savage itself comes from silvaticus, meaning sylvan-before designating vast wooded areas reserved for the nobility and monasteries protected from peasant uses. By a singular inversion of meaning, the word forest, the perilous unknown that Roman civilization could not subjugate, ended up qualifying in a few centuries the territory par excellence of religious and feudal rule, before finally becoming a generic and rather vague term. Santiago, Chile: Incendiary Attack on the Medialuna + Grupo Antiespecista Emilia Bau – Nueva Subversión Claim

Posted on 2022/09/25 by darknights

On September 12, in anticipation of the imminent national holidays, anonymous individuals decided to set fire to the Medialuna1 located at the foot of the Renca hill, causing considerable damage.

The director of the Confederation of Chilean Rodeo, Roberto Concha, said about the attack: “We express our absolute condemnation of the arson attack suffered by our members in the commune of Renca, which caused serious material damage to a place where for six years there have been no Rodeo competitions due to the refusal of the communal authorities (…) This is a place full of Chileanness”.

Soon after, the “Grupo Antispeciesist Emilia Bau – Nueva Subversión”, claimed responsibility for the attack through e-mails to various counter-information pages.

Claim of the incendiary attack

On the night of September 12, days before the beginning of the patriotic festivities, we attacked the galleries and quinchas2 of a medialuna located at the foot of the Renca hill, enclosures that, under “sporting” and “Creole” motives, do nothing more than perpetuate the bad treatment and torture against animal life, as well as the livestock and fishing industry, hunting and vivisection centers.

According to the FEROCHI (Federación Deportiva del Rodeo Chile, founded in 1961 and which, in 1962, by means of an official document from the National Sports Council and the Chilean Olympic Committee, recognizes rodeo as a “sporting discipline”), more than 1,900 rodeos are held each year, demonstrating the systematization of these abusive practices. FEROCHI, the Federation of Horse Breeders, Chilean Huaso Clubs and Gil Letelier, among others, are organizations that are complicit in maintaining these high numbers. Therefore, we must not forget the necessary projection of anti-speciesist actions that seek to put an end to this reality. Santiago, Chile: Incendiary attack burns six trucks and a butcher’s meat packing plant + Claim leaflet

Posted on 2022/09/25 by darknights

During the early morning of Monday, September 19, even with the patriotic feast in the air, a group of at least 6 anonymous encapuchados (hooded ones) completely overtake the Susaron butcher’s shop on Matta Avenue, Quilicura commune.

With firearms they managed to reduce the guard, and then spray and set fire to about 6 trucks of the meat company.

Before disappearing completely from the place, they throw pamphlets for animal liberation, while the flames begin to spread, setting the meat packing plant on fire.

About 70 firefighters arrived at the site to extinguish the fire, and then the incinerated remains of the vehicles were examined by the PDI. The Undersecretary of the Interior, Manuel Monsalve, said:

“Unfortunately, we have seen during the last weeks the call for several events linked to the defense of animal rights, with which surely most of us agree to protect the rights of animals, but I think no one agrees is with the exercise of violence (….) has no link the defense of animal rights, which is completely legitimate and I think it has earned a space in the agenda of the country, to the exercise of violence that Chile rejects and that we will criminally prosecute.”

Press info: T13, Meganoticias

Pamphlets found in the sector:

“The attack is expanding and we are growing in boldness, mind and danger. Beware, the groups of intransigent anti-speciesist belligerence are blooming like daisies. Today we attack this company in its infrastructure, tomorrow it will be its owners and collaborators of any kind. For all of them we predict lead and shrapnel.

Animal liberation, without consideration for whoever crosses in front of us”.
