Chile: CALL FROM THE PRISONS OF THE CHILEAN STATE. Communiqué of anarchist and subversive prisoners

Posted on 2022/05/14 - 2022/05/14 by darknights

Joining wills and consciences for the return to the streets of comrade Marcelo Villarroel Sepúlveda.

“No one will be able to erase the history of offensive resistance outside and inside Chilean prisons because in this is the commitment of hundreds of comrades and accomplices throughout the world who do not and will not stop until they see the last bastion of the prison society fall.”

-Necessary Clarities on Prison

Politics in today’s chile….

Various related networks.

February 2022.

A year ago, at this time, we were conducting a hunger strike that lasted 50 days demanding the repeal of the amendments to DL 321, the annulment of the sentences of military prosecution and thus the release to the street of our comrade Marcelo Villarroel.

Today we give a new impulse to this struggle, which is fully in force, persisting as a collective priority in the return to the street of Marcelo, in whom are condensed clear and unacceptable legal aberrations that go beyond the very legality of power.

Marcelo was arrested in Argentina in March 2008 where he spent 22 months in prison, then he was expelled to Chile and today he is just over a year and a half away from serving a 14-year sentence for two bank robberies carried out in 2007, the comrade is also being held captive by a series of sentences from the early 90’s issued by the military prosecutors of Pinochet that amount to more than 46 years and with this they intend to bury him in prison perpetuating his sentences in the midst of an unacceptable complicit silence of all the structures that affirm the political, legal, police and penitentiary framework of the Chilean state. Santiago, Chile: Explosive attack against the National Directorate of Gendarmerie + Claim of “The Black Vengeance”

Posted on 2021/12/29 - 2021/12/29 by darknights

During the early morning of Monday, December 27, 2021, a loud bang shakes the center of the capital. An explosive device detonates against a window of the National Directorate of Gendarmerie, located on Rosas Street at the height of Teatinos.

GOPE personnel quickly arrived at the scene, and the South Prosecutor’s Office, which handles this type of crime, was present, entrusting the OS-9 and Labocar personnel with the investigation. According to the press, it was the Prosecutor’s Office itself which indicated the prohibition to inform and give more information. No pamphlets were found at the site.

Via email, the action is claimed by “La Negra Venganza”, which according to the text would be the same group that acted against a police station in 2020. The text details the use of industrial explosives, as well as ammunition in the explosive device, making an open call to expand this type of practice, to show solidarity with the prisoners and to expand the use of their name, and finally to greet other action groups.

Campaign of attack and revenge against the executioners. Act II

Explosive attack to the National Directorate of Gendarmerie of Chile.

“In a highly self-critical manner, the solidarity actions that are undertaken are generally reactive. There are no actions that are rather offensive… We all know where the guys are, they are walking around in their uniforms, and they do it with total impunity. And we know that inside they are harassing the brothers and sisters, they are making them feel bad, they are humiliating them…”

Mauricio Morales

One year after our first action, as the group that we are, and after much study, tensions, proposals and reflections, we are back. We are back, we continue with the campaign we started some time ago.

We will go in the early morning of December 27, 2021 a few minutes before the clock strikes 3:00 a.m. (The time and day are always proposed, so that the attack in its entirety reaches our targets-enemies) To the National Directorate of Gendarmerie of Chile. Located in Rosas street, downtown Santiago. Continue reading “Santiago, Chile: Explosive attack against the National Directorate of Gendarmerie + Claim of “The Black Vengeance”” →

Anarchic and subversive words from Chilean prisons

Posted on 2021/12/20 - 2021/12/20 by darknights

Faced with the rearrangement of domination and its capitalist perpetuation: Neither boots, nor votes, only struggle!

It seems that, according to what the citizenry proclaims, we are witnesses of a key moment in the history of this territory; that we have cornered ourselves with our backs to a precipice to which, unless we do something, our fall will be imminent; it seems that we are witnessing an open war, fierce, between two political poles at odds at such a level that, like a cold war, endangers the subsistence and future of all beings in the territory dominated by the Chilean State.

On one side the war cry is: “Communism or Freedom”, and on the other: “Democracy or Fascism”. In the face of such a dramatic scenario, we are presented with the key tool to confront this context, capable of stopping this bloodbath once and for all: participation in the electoral processes, in which suffrage will be the liberating weapon.

We are neither blind nor deaf, we walk with full awareness of this and many other events in the territory, we not only distance ourselves, but we declare war on any institutional instance that seeks any perpetuation of the Status Quo.

We are completely unaware of the false confrontation of two supposedly different systems, the axis on which the battle is fought continues and will continue to be that of Democracy and the administration of Capital; the existence of a “struggle” of different policies only attempts to justify the supposed breadth of the democracy-capital system, the “diverse” essence of this and the supposed space for all types of thought; in no way do we want to be accepted by a system or a society that we reject, we do not want our politics to be one more among the options of this system; we want to destroy all options and the structure that sustains them. We have nothing to do with the electoral show and its staging of elections, plebiscites, votes and so on, we consider that this is nothing more than the tightening of the pin, the bourgeois rearrangement of the class for the maintenance of an imposed and existing order in disguise and according to the times. Comrade Pablo Bahamondes Ortiz “El Oso” was sentenced to 15 years in prison

Posted on 2021/11/04 by darknights

Today, Wednesday, October 20, the oral criminal court of Melipilla sentenced our comrade Pablo Bahamondes Ortiz, “Oso”, to 15 years and 1 day for transporting arms.

To those who assume the conflict against the state and power, let there be no doubt that subversion does not die or stagnate.

To propagate the creative destruction and strengthen the bond of insurgent complicity with Pablo and with all our imprisoned comrades who do not flinch or repent, assuming the conflict with conviction and dignity, a behavior typical of warriors that not even prison can defeat.

THERE IS NO JAIL OR PUNISHMENT CAPABLE OF DEFEATING THE SUBVERSIVE CONVICTION OF STRUGGLE AGAINST POWER AND ALL AUTHORITIES!

Santiago, Chile: Thoughts of Comrade Pablo Bahamondes Ortiz, “El Oso,” before the start of his trial

Posted on 2021/10/12 - 2021/10/12 by darknights

“…We choose to live on the edge of the abyss and not the ways of docile people who crawl around begging for power” (Excerpt from Célula Nihilista del Ocaso del Fuego. Argentina).

Via Enough Is Enough, Translated by Riot Turtle.

Three years have passed since my arrest, and after a series of legal attempts to hold court hearings in person, the courts refused this possibility without me being able to present a legitimate defense, so that I will only find myself in front of a screen to watch the absurd spectacle of judges, state prosecuters and police officers exercising their power to imprison me for as many years as possible.

“Not to trust, nothing to expect from the judiciary”

– Mónica Caballero

Staying upright in any possible scenario, recognizing oneself as a prisoner of war, remains the path to follow.

Emphasizing that there is nothing to explain or acknowledge to the state for this journey, taking up the struggle against this world of permanent misery.

There have been times of endless learning, there have been times of loneliness and companionship, times of making and building connections, in short… times that cannot be silenced and that certainly make you stronger than before.

I am not the only one, nor will we be the only ones here; many brothers and sisters have been here for quite some time, reflecting the continuity of the tireless struggle for total liberation. And so we have joined together in practice and discourse in the face of the various anti-prison issues, targeting the real enemies and establishing a bond of insurgent fraternity.

A warm hug to all who have shown active solidarity with the prisoners in various territories.

A complicit salute to our subversive and anarchist brothers and sisters for their mutual support.

The comrades Mónica Caballero, Francisco Solar, Luis Avaca, Ignacio Avaca, Marcelo Villarroel, Juan Aliste, Juan Flores and Joaquín García… ON THE STREETS!!!

May the subversive practice strengthen and spread the volumes of complicity!!!

Freedom for the subversive, anarchist prisoners, and prisoners of the revolt and the Mapuche!!!

Cancellation of the changes of Decree 321!!!

Destroy the prison society and its supporters!!!

Chile: Text of Mónica, Marcelo, Juan, Joaquin, Francisco and Juan before the trial against comrade Pablo Bahamondes: Let’s multiply the gestures of solidarity and insurrectionary complicity

Posted on 2021/10/12 - 2021/10/12 by darknights

Our comrade Pablo Bahamones Ortiz was arrested along with Herny Mendez (today imprisoned in the former penitentiary of stgo) and Hugo Moraga (in the street after an abbreviated trial that sentenced him to 3 years) while they were being transported in a vehicle on September 8, 2018 under an investigation regarding an explosive attack occurred in April 2017 in the Corporation of Judicial Assistance of Melipilla for which the prosecution asks him 13 years in prison. In addition in said vehicle are found various handmade weapons for which Pablo is accused of manufacturing, transporting and carrying weapons and ammunition, specifically 6 shotguns, 1 box of cartridges, 1 revolver and 12 shots, asking the prosecution 23 years, totaling a total of 36 years of prosecutorial request.

His option and positioning for the permanent confrontation that led him to prison has been maintained and deepened inside the prison being an undeniable contribution both in the intra-prison struggles and in those that take place outside these walls uninterruptedly and without pause. This way of understanding and carrying out life in prison breaks with the passive figure of the victim prisoner that places him as a mere recipient of solidarity aid, positioning the comrade as an active subject in the uprising of varied and confrontational initiatives such as the hunger strike that we carried out together for 50 days demanding the repeal of the amendment to Law 321 and for the release of our comrade Marcelo Villarroel.

It is from this combative stance that as anarchist and subversive prisoners we call for solidarity with Pablo during the trial that will begin on September 27th using all the means at our disposal and all our imagination that allows us to generate constant complicit initiatives as well as to strike hard blows to power. Anarchic and subversive words from Chilean prisons, in the framework of the international week for anarchist prisoners

Posted on 2021/09/01 - 2021/09/01 by darknights

Shouts of war; true sounds of freedom!!!

In this week of solidarity with the anarchist prisoners we make an open call to war, to continue and intensify the conflict against every expression of Power and to strengthen the bonds of affinity for combat among all the anti-authoritarian sectors that exist and walk common paths.

It is from this position that we remember comrades Sacco and Vanzetti as part of the broad sector of anarchic illegalism, who were called “the Galleanists”, who with bombs, expropriations and executions made the American soil tremble at the beginning of the last century. Supported by the creation and multiplication of affinity groups and violent action, the illegalists expanded anarchic ideas from the facts, understanding that word and action are inseparable.

Since then much water has passed under the bridge, many have been the deaths and many prisons have seen the passing of comrades who have proudly confronted Power from the place where it has been their lot to be, nevertheless the ideas that translate into affinity and action have endured and are those that today motivate us anarchists and subversives of the territory dominated by the Chilean State to continue the war from this confinement and in the streets, always bearing in mind the necessary harmony between prisoners and supportive and complicit environments that walk from the confrontation with the normality of the existing. Chile: Against Sectarianism. For an Affinity Supported in Practice. Words from compañerxs Monica and Francisco EN/ES

Posted on 2021/08/01 - 2021/08/01 by darknights

Facing what we see as direct interpellations towards us, the need arises to write this text to make clear the issues.

As we have written on several occasions both individual and collectively, we understand anarchy not as an embodiment or place of arrival, but as a tension, a permanent confrontation in the first personm putting at the center the search for individual freedom. For us, this constant struggle has been real, which is why we find ourselves today behind bars. This situation has not prevented us from continuing to participate in struggle initiatives both inside and outside the jail.

In short, anarchy for us is an ethics and a permanent practice against authority, a practice in which we have met with others (not necessarily “anarchists”), enriching and enhancing our visions and capabilities, as well as forging close relationships of complicity, strengthened in the course of years and confrontation. To designate that these relationships can only be established with those who are called “anarchists,” apart from being a fallacy that can only be believed by those who have not ventured to travel the paths of the conflict and spend their time in front of the computer, is something that we reject from the moment when we prioritize establishing links over repeating empty slogans until you get enough. To self-identify as “irreducible anarchists” does not mean anything without being accompanied by a confrontational practice that sustains it.

On the other hand – and most importantly – assuming that anarchists only should relate to anarchists reflects an absurd purism and a sectarianism that, without a doubt, is an expression of authoritarianism. Establish coordinations and joint struggle initiatives only between those who are self-defined “anarchists” is to restrict and limit greatly our relationships and with this our chances of growing. It is to lock up stupidly in dogmatisms that restrict us and prevent us from free association. So, we see how in the name of freedom, some raise absolutely the opposite, setting sects as the basis for relationships.

With this, we do not want to say that we establish indiscriminate relationships or do not have a type of filter.

We have left clear points that for us are impassable in previous communications; repentances, dissociations and institutionality corresponds to some red lines that constitute insurmountable aspects that prevent carrying out any joint initiative with those who opt for these roads. As you can appreciate, these points do not correspond to empty labels but are concrete, in ways of living in prison and not only here. They are options that generate a total contradiction between what is said and what what is done. Well, maybe for some, the only value is what incendiary proclamations are said online or on some social network. On the contrary, we prioritize the practice and from there, we are establishing affinities and ruptures.

And certainly, authoritarian practices represent a point that we will not tolerate. We have never established fighting relationships based on authoritarianism and the experience of anarchist and subversive prisoners is no exception. The common points we have between all of them are a lot stronger than the discrepancies that we can have, discrepancies that evidently, do not represent insurmountable aspects, since if it were so, we would have set aside from the beginning of this initiative. The ties that unite us with the comrades have been forged in the confrontation. Inside as outside the jail, for more than a decade, meaning for us a relationship and enriching experience that, undoubtedly, has nourished, strengthened and qualified our anarchic path. Today, in this new confinement situation, this joint initiative is not new, but the last year has counted on important mobilizations that allow us to develop interesting projections. Now, as we affirm it in the article “about the need for continue the fight within the prison” of the magazine Kalinov MOST 4, the anarchist prisoners have broken with certain codes inside of the prisons, installed and reproduced by the members of the armed left groups from the ’80s, codes that mainly had to do with the reproduction of organic-partisan logic inside jail and also with establishing a ratio of superiority with respect to the rest of the penal population. They have been in charge of keeping live subversive codes with which we feel identified and that we see indispensable to incorporate and live. We refer to a refractory position and attitude against the prison institution that grants a particular identity, view and recognition both by social prisoners and the jailers. We also refer to the undeniable fact of continuing the fight within the prison, to show in practice that with the confinement nothing ends, that It is only another struggle, which breaks with victimism. Many times in the struggle for liberty of prisoners, comrades for decades have raised and taken forward an anti-carceral practice that has pierced the walls that divide the street and jail. These are just some of the subversive codes that we share with the comrades, who reinforce our ties of affinity in the task everyday and we are moving away from those who, even calling themselves anarchist, diverts away from the fight or is completely disconnected from this. What do these purists and so-called “anarchists” who are completely disconnected from these ideas and practices do when they face a trial or are in prison? We reiterate, we establish relationships based on common practices, not on the basis of words or incendiary announcements published on the Internet. Finally, we see the need to refer to the danger that sectarianism or purism represents within our spaces, apart from authoritarian relationships mentioned above.

From our clear anarchic positioning, supported in the permanent conflict and in individual freedom, we are establishing relationships and coordinations that potentiate us and strengthen us on this path for total liberation.

As the incendiary comrades of Conspiracy of Cells of Fire said a few years ago: Solidarity with Anarchist Prisoners and Those that Do No Repent of all Revolutionary tendencies!

TODAY WE SAY: Comrades Pablo Bahamondes, Marcelo Villarroel, Juan Aliste, Juan Flores and Joaquín García: To the street!

Chile: Communiqué of Subversive and Anarchist Prisoners for Comrade Luisa Toledo Sepúlveda

Posted on 2021/07/15 - 2021/07/15 by darknights

“By all means, I believe the violence within us is just. It’s necessary. I believe that we can no longer try to turn the other cheek. Not only is this motto a lie, but it also isn’t good for anybody. It can’t be. We have to capable of defending ourselves by being beautifully violent. We must cover our faces and go out into the street to be against everything that represents the atrocious powers we fight against.”– Luisa Toledo Sepúlveda

Words from Prisons for Luisa Toledo Sepúlveda.

Our mother, grandmother and eternal comrade Luisa Toledo Sepúlveda has left. From the different centers of punishment and isolation where we have traveled for decades and years, maintaining upward the autonomous, subversive and anarchic resistance, we meet again at the hearth of our herd to eternally embrace “Luisa”, our subversive mother.

We are in pain, with our hearts broken, traveling between different generations of comrades to whom the words and actions of “grandmother” have marked the journey for years from children in the town, rebellious adolescents and young combatants.

Feel the power of her voice as the voice of her children who at the same time are all of us who have been undeniably marked with the certainty of her words of fire, of bullets, of roars, of conspiracy, of conscience, of beautifully violent memory, from the inalienable insistence to the frontal fight against the world of power and all authority.

Your children who resist in prisons, the fugitives who remain in struggle, from different territories of the planet where your name is heard as a synonym of Resistance, Memory and Subversion, today, we shout together and united very loud and clear that we continue unconditionally hoisting the banner of social war, the permanent gesture of the conflict in the struggle for total liberation.

We call on all rebels who worthily claim the frontal struggle against power through direct action to demonstrate in war with concrete gestures in memory of Luisa Toledo Sepúlveda.

We call to keep alive the fire of her voice, her fighting spirit, her wise words, her incessant practice always on the side of illegality in clear subversive complicity.

We hug you and we are with you. Manolo, Flaca, Sol, Alen.

We salute Villa Francia and all the accomplices.

We embrace the Peñi and Lamngen at war!!

We embrace you with eternal love in war, dear woman, mother, grandmother, comrade!!

Luisa Toledo Sepúlveda, you live in the anti-authoritarian, autonomous, subversive and anarchic struggle forever!!

As long as there is misery, there will be rebellion!!

Death to the state and long live anarchy!

Combatant youth: permanent insurrection!!

Until destroying the last bastion of prison society!

Towards total liberation!!
