Twelve More People Federally Charged in the July 4 Prairieland ICE Detention Center Protest Case

Majority of Defendants Expected to Enter ‘Not Guilty’ Pleas December 3, Refusing Early Plea Offer of Up To 15 Years in Prison

DALLAS-FORT WORTH, TX — Twelve people were federally charged late last week in connection with the immigrant solidarity demonstration at the Prairieland ICE Detention Center on July 4, 2025. The new indictment and charges, including rioting, attempted murder, and material support for terrorism, came as a majority of defendants are expected to plead not guilty on December 3. Notably, federal prosecutors are offering early plea deals with recommended sentences of up to 15 years in prison.

A number of defendants could plead guilty in the coming days as a result of pressure by the federal government. The terms of the plea agreements have not been made public, but some defendants are refusing to cooperate against their codefendants. Historically, in politically motivated cases, defendants who take federal plea deals that involve cooperating with the government against their codefendants have not necessarily received more lenient sentences, and may not lessen the potential legal harm stemming from their corresponding State cases.

“The prosecution is grasping at straws,” said National Lawyers Guild member Kris Hermes. “Plea deals offered this early show the government is desperate for a quick conviction that fits their nonsense ‘Antifa’ narrative. This case is a shoddy attempt to terrorize the movement in solidarity with immigrants, but it’s not going to work.”

The defendants who were federally charged last week were added to the case of Autumn Hill and Zachary Evetts, who were federally indicted last month. US District Court Judge Mark Pittman granted the government’s motion earlier in November to designate the Prairieland case as “complex”, thereby delaying the trials of Hill and Evetts, which were scheduled to start later this month. Another defendant, Daniel Sanchez-Estrada was previously indicted separately and has now been added to this case, and his trial has been delayed from early December, as originally scheduled. Giessen, Germany: Incendiary attack upon Payment Card Coordination Centre

On March 17th, we attacked the coordination center for the payment card in Hesse with incendiary devices. Several transporters, as well as the building on Lilienthalstraße (Gießen), were damaged in the process. We did not choose this state facility by chance. The Government Presidium (RP) Gießen is involved in deportations every day with their transports from the initial reception centers and coordinates these throughout Hesse. For the reasons already mentioned, the RP deserves every attack.

Furthermore, the premises of the RP Gießen serve as the “operational coordination center” for the payment card introduced for refugees in the fall of last year. Basically, this means that the RP is responsible for the introduction and implementation of the payment cards in the initial reception centers and serves as the point of contact for all accommodations in the state of Hesse. The payment card is another insidious endeavor in which the German state demonstrates its racist and inhumane practices. Surely we should all be aware that the payment card is an attack on all the people who seek refuge and safety here, and it is just another step in the isolation of Europe.

Not only the state’s racist practice ignited our anger and hatred, but also the fact that this is another step by an authoritarian state to practice surveillance and control. As a society, we should assume that the payment card for refugees is a pilot project testing the extent to which handling payment cards will generally be suitable in the future. It is to be assumed that at some point there will also be payment cards for, for example, social benefit recipients. Because the German state loves to kick downwards and take from the poor and already stigmatized.

In solidarity with all those who evade their deportation and develop a collective practice against the authorities.

We greet the anarchist comrades in Bavaria, who are currently being persecuted by the state for their uncompromising political stance.

Berlin, Germany: Claim of Responsibility for the Incendiary Attack Against a Greek Diplomatic Vehicle

On January 30, we placed an incendiary device under a car with the number plate of Greece’s diplomatic mission in Germany. The action took place in the Rosenthaler district in Berlin.

The action is not directed against a specific person but against the relations between two racist and murderous states and those responsible for them. The burning diplomatic car is once again a vehicle for international messages between the oppressed and at the same time a message to those who want to rule the world…

..that we have not forgotten the hundreds of murders committed last June off the coast of Pylos at the hands of the Greek coastguard and Frontex.

…that we have not forgotten the racist, murderous acts of violence by the police against Roma youth in Greece.

…that we do not remain inactive in the face of the persecution of anarchists and individuals fighting against oppression and exploitation.

In 2024, at a time when indifference in the face of daily mass murders is far advanced, we anarchists continue to reach out to migrants. We want to remind them once again that mass migration has its origins in the system and that those who try to control it are the same ones who live off our labour and resources. The thousands of murders at the borders are murders of our brothers and sisters. The victims of the coming pogroms and assassinations in this increasingly openly racist European Union live among us and stand side by side with us.

In memory of Oury Jalloh, who was tied up and set on fire alive with broken bones in a police cell on January 7, 19 years ago.

Today we decided to have our say on the “Renata” operation. In other writings, the investigation has been analyzed, both in its general repressive aspects of the state and with regard to the technological, inquisitorial and legal tools used to hit those who still dare to fight for something different and still blow on the wings of freedom.

We have decided not to turn to the court that will try us nor to the diligence of our repressors. A courtroom is not the place where we choose to speak today.

We want to speak in those places where there is struggle, where there is still critical spirit, wherever there are women and men who are aware that so many things must be changed now, that this state of affairs must be revolutionized.

So we are going to talk about the actions that we are accused of or that are included in the investigation.

These actions-night or day, individual or collective-are part of a conflict that goes far beyond the specific facts or the territory in which they are located. They are the result of a broader clash, that between the exploited, the exploiters and those who defend them.

Of these actions we share the spirit, the ethics, the method, the goals, regardless of who carried them out. They speak for themselves, they are understandable to most, they point to a path – that of liberation. They point the finger at those who live by exploitation and war, hatred and violence, they wish for something more, something that will put an end to the worst atrocities and barbarities, but above all they aim to destroy the wall of resignation, in times so poor in human solidarity, rebellion, critical thinking.

Those who in recent years have said and still say that such actions serve no purpose, that the game is not worth the candle, that nothing will change, that human beings have permanently lost their wits by reducing life to a constant fratricidal war, have stopped dreaming, have stopped questioning those responsible for injustice and the causes that have brought society to a moral, environmental and material level that is disturbing to say the least. Cologne, Germany: #Lützerathlebtweiter, Nighttime visit to Primus Service GmbH

From 02 to 03 February, we paid a visit to Primus Service GmbH in Unnauer Weg in Cologne Lindweiler and, in addition to broken glass, also left a colorful mark.

The offer of the Primus Service GmBh under the guidance duo Sven summer and Alexandra Michels is the gastro supply in the sectors company catering, Health Care, refugee assistance and employment catering.

In the company catering sector, according to the website, the “largest customer to date” in the company catering sector was acquired in summer 2021 with the Deutsche Post DHL Group Campus in Bonn. In the area of refugee aid, Primus operates locations throughout Germany and thus earns money from the collective accommodation of refugees. In doing so, they advertise that they prepare “typical” dishes from the refugees’ home countries with organic fair trade spices. In addition, there is the catering service, where Primus proudly proclaims: “Police catering means one thing above all else: commitment. Seven days a week. 24 hours a day. You can rely on us when it counts.

The Primus team of the police supply department provides various police agencies in North Rhine-Westphalia with catering bags and drinks for emergency and large-scale operations. For the police supply we are with joy and commitment 365 days a year in use.”

In January in Lützerath, they were able to demonstrate how reliably and happily Primus supports large-scale police operations. With the catering for the police operation, Primus not only provided an elementary part of the infrastructural basis for this operation but also earned money from the destruction of Lützerath. In addition so the further brown coal mining made possible, causes for global warming promoted and thus also resulting environmental disasters. These create further causes of flight!
The enterprise belongs to those, which create bases, which make inhumane conditions possible and stabilize by their work. With this nightly visit we want to mark Primus Service GmbH as an actor and profiteer of destruction and oppression and join the militant campaign that does not leave the eviction of Lützerath unanswered.

The next racist murder attempt of the Greek cops, but also the ongoing hunger strike of the anarchists in Italy have motivated us to attack HERTZ as a supporter of the Greek cops and thus of the racist and neoliberal Nea-Demokratia regime.At the branch in Hamburg Wandsbek we set fire to the building.

The battle of Prosfygika: Striking images of squatters’ resistance during a massive police operation

It all started in the early hours of Tuesday 22 November 2022 in Athens, Greece. In a massive operation, police special forces and squads of riot policemen invade one of the buildings of the Community of Squatted Prosfygika, break down the door of a flat and snatch two people. One of them is being accused of attacks against capitalist targets.* The operation ends and the police withdraws from the building.

Ten hours later, at about 17:00, and for no apparent reason, a massive police attack is being unleashed against two of the buildings where many people have gathered in solidarity to the community of Squatted Prosfygika, an array of 8 buildings built in the 1930s to house refugees following the “Asia Minor Disaster”.

Following the battle that ensued, scores of cops invaded the community and arrested 79 residents and people in solidarity, despite the fact that they initiated an attack with no other purpose than the attack itself, charging the arrestees with all sorts of misdemeanours for resisting their unprovoked attack. Amongst those arrested, there were even minors, a mother with her child, a pregnant woman, an accredited photo journalist and a lawyer. Call for International Week of Solidarity with Anarchist Prisoners 2022 // 23 – 30 August

The fact that capitalism does not focus on our needs but on profit, is demonstrated with all its brutality in times of climate crisis, the Covid-19 pandemic and the collapse of socioeconomic systems all around the world. Those who profit from capitalism enrich themselves through times of disaster. But with ongoing crises we are also experiencing a new era of uprisings from below.

Resistance to the war in Ukraine, Sudanese protests against military rule or the social revolt in Chile are some examples that not only show us the possibilities of organizing and collective struggle. They also highlight how important it is for social movements to learn from each other and support each other in these times. Not only outside the walls but also behind them.

Since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, we’ve seen fierce struggles against imprisonment, reminding us that incarcerated people are the ones most affected when everything goes down. Breakouts from Brazilian and Italian prisons, people in jail setting fire to a prison in Thailand and ongoing hunger strikes like those we see in Greece or in polish refugee detention camps are examples of the courage people in prisons are showing to smash the walls.

In all of these struggles, anarchist ideas and values are the fuel for collective resistance. Unsurprisingly the repression against anarchists is increasing and solidarity is needed more than ever. The capitalist system of domination can function because of the continued isolation between people, endless competition, and overlook our real needs and desires. We need solidarity within our friendships, at work, in the neighborhood, in our communities. Those outside and those inside their walls.

Let’s break out together! That is why we are calling again for International Week of Solidarity with Anarchist Prisoners. Do some action of solidarity! Write letters, organize speeches or film screening, make our comrades visible on the streets with a banner drop or a graffiti and let them show that they are in our hearts and that we are fighting together.

Let’s remember those who fought against this injustice and payed with their lives.

People’s lives in the big cities have become so empty. People have ended up dragging their carcasses through a daily suffering and a constant despair just to take a picture of a utility bill at the end of the day and post it on social media with digital cries of futility about a world that leads nowhere and a reality that is unbearable for them in the capitalist machine. People’s eyes have been trained to remain glued to the screens with their brain functions losing touch with their emotions, anger, hatred for the degradation of this rotten world, pain for their neighbor, history, memory, nature. People have been trained to watch the world in a digital reality that runs at ever greater speeds and end up being inert beings in this digital consumption without shaping events. And we, among others, somewhere in the margins of Existence of today, humbly trying to keep the flame alive from the eyes of the people we have lost by our side.

In this way we have honored our dead: We carried the incendiary device for our attack on Real as if we were carrying the remains of the dead of the social war. Two years exactly after the death-state murder of Vassilis Maggos we did this action and the spirit of Vassilis was inside us smiling at us.

At dawn on 13/07 we left an incendiary device of small power on the ground floor of the building outside the door of the Real News – Real Fm snitches. After the external destruction of the door, a fire broke out in the upper part of the building through the duct resulting in the total destruction of the premises of Real News and Real Fm, as well as a shipping company located in the same building. Our action was planned in such a way that no human (or non-human) life such as a passerby, resident, animal or worker/employee would be endangered, as it was, even though Mitsotakis and his mouthpieces would wish for the opposite. We therefore recommend that people keep calm and not eat the lies of the state narrative of events raw because as we will explain below, we live in a reality of lies. For any inconvenience to the working sound engineer of the building due to the murderous negligence of her bosses in not making adequate provision for easy egress of the building, we will seek a public apology from her exclusively, saying in retrospect publicly and humbly that our purpose was to make a symbolic attack. After all we knew the specifications of our action and that it would not put an innocent person at risk in a concrete building in front of Kifissias Avenue in Maroussi. And we reiterate that this is a fact already. It is not a theoretical scenario or an intuition in the realm of probability. It is funny the dimensions and magnitude of the lie given around this issue in the mainstream media, indicative that Greece is one of the countries that are hitting rock bottom in terms of freedom of the press since everything is directed as updates from the government’s mouthpiece. Anyway, we are one of those parts of the working class that is fighting its own struggles alongside many other workers and in no way would we want to harm a sound engineer, but only cause material damage to the building at material cost to their bosses. The crocodile tears of the New Democracy fascists for the worker have provoked our above anger with their crude hypocrisy. I wonder if they ever felt any pain for the many employer murders that have occurred recently such as the electrician Christos Zorbas in the HPEIROS industry or the murder of the COSCO dock worker? Hypocrisy, hypocrisy, hypocrisy… that is all that characterises the vulgarity of those in power. And to clarify the landscape, to answer that if we wanted to kill as presented by the “4th power” i.e. the executive organs of the lie of the state, which are the journalists, we would come one morning with a crowd of workers inside the offices and leave the device. But because we simply did not and do not have such a purpose to endanger ignorant people, obviously for all the reasons in the world we did not choose to do so. FREEDOM TO HUNGER STRIKER GIANNIS MICHAILIDIS

SOLIDARITY TO MIGRANTS IN GREECE

Giannis Michailidis is an anarchist prisoner on hunger strike since 23/5. He has served 8.5 years in prison and, while he fulfils all formal conditions for his release, he is kept in preventive detention. The Greek judges backed by the Greek state refuse to release him on the pretext that he does not meet the substantive conditions of release. This additional detention is being used at will to punish him for remaining unrepentant and maintaining a militant stance within the prison walls. This is not the first time Michailidis faces the vengeance of the Greek state. His heavy prosecution began in 2011 when an arrest warrant was issued against him for involvement in the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, for which he was later acquitted. He chose the path of illegality and was arrested in 2013 in Velvento Kozani, after expropriating a bank together with 3 other anarchists, where he was tortured by the police.
