Athens, Greece: Taking responsibility for the incendiary attacks on the houses of the politician Maximos Charakopoulos and the cop Giannis Meidanis

Posted on 2025/06/02 - 2025/06/02 by darknights

We take responsibility for the double attack with low-powered incendiary devices at dawn on 14/05/25 at the entrances of the apartment buildings where the MP of the New Democracy Maximos Charakopoulos and the uniformed scum of the Greek National Police, Giannis Meidanis, reside.

Our moves were not at all accidental as they are a first sign of aggressive solidarity with those arrested for the events at the DAP-NDFK event at the Law School. Our attack had been decided to take place some weeks later. However, we found it necessary to bring it forward because of the events, redefining the climate of fear that Chrysochoidis in unbridled collaboration with the media wants to imbue us with and returning fear to the eyes of those who should be blooming. Because for every visit you make to the homes of your comrades and comrades-in-arms, we will make a visit to yours.

A very faint layer of light unites the political and the personal, like the light of the twilight in the early morning, where you don’t know when the night ends and the day begins, where the boundaries of one are blurred within the boundaries of the other. Our twilight is the moment of explosions, where we gave the night its first colors in the hope that something new would dawn, where we united these two poles (political/personal) through action. But for us the personal does not stop at the individual but starts from it, is not limited to its narrow logics but extends from it. We are not just individuals we are what we stand for, the past has led us to the present and our present to the future. We are our decisions then, these gentlemen have consciously decided to be in the party of the rulers and we are consciously against them. But what happens when your social roles suppress our individuality and our collective evolution? That’s when resistance comes, that’s when the war begins. A thin thread connects us to the struggles of yesterday and we continue so that the struggles of tomorrow have somewhere to stand in order to evolve.

So here we go, one MP and one cop, one represents/exercises the executive power and the other imposes through repression the power of the political leadership of the day. Together they make up two of the four pillars of the state apparatus (the other two legislative, propaganda) the reasons for hitting these targets over time and perpetually for us are self-evident. But in the present day our reasons are concretized and analyzed in particular. Our strategic planning is about bringing justice to the crime of Tempi where our inner sense of justice found you guilty and this is a first glimpse of your “sentence”. It is heard here and there that you put the stationmaster in his place, it is heard that you colluded with your brother Agapios Charakopoulos then director of the Larissa police department where he personally took over the protection of the scene of the incident where he allowed the crime scene to be tampered with and was promoted to brigadier general as a reward for his excellence in covering up your government. You politically abet the criminals and continue to unrepentantly defend your party’s grammar. Isn’t there a lot of that going around, Maxime? They say where there’s smoke there’s fire, and in your case there was both for sure. We heard you say you couldn’t breathe, that you woke up to smoke and flames and that you were afraid of getting hurt. What could the 57 people on the first wagons of the trains have to say, you piece of garbage? What can they say to those who will live with the nightmare of that night haunting them forever? With the smell of burning flesh with the image of severed limbs forever etched in their memory? What are the parents to say as they try to calm down but you and your filthy gang won’t let them? What to say to all of us who know we could have been on that train that night? We could have because we recognize our economic class in this society.

You are wagging your finger at us and telling us that these things do not fit into “democracy”, that you are more powerful, that all these criminal and terrorist elements will be caught. In your democracy and your friends’ democracy nothing else fits because you have taken care of it, as you would not exist if you did not impose your social system and you know it. That is why you have shielded this complex and seemingly impenetrable system of yours with the defences of interlocking. These mechanisms were evident from the very first hours when you began to weave your cover-up plan. Shall we talk about the montage of the dialogue between the stationmaster and the engineer that was created from the first issue and promoted in all the mass propaganda media? About the broken doors and the missing camera footage? For the fuel? For the right-wing think tank findings? For unfinished contracts while brazenly questioning a safety issue through Transport Minister Kostas Karamanlis? About roadside repairs? About prosecutors sending parents to priests? This and much more for your congregation in your attempt to get away with it. New York, U$A: NYPD Vehicles Attacked on 4/15 in Revenge Action

Posted on 2025/04/19 - 2025/04/19 by darknights

On Tuesday night we punctured the tires on 8 NYPD cars and sprayed “PIG” all over them at the 88th precinct right under their stupid noses. When the pigs are too complacent then collectively we are doing something wrong.

The 88th precinct is known for its tyrannical rule over both local community and new migrant neighbors. It famously collaborated with ICE during the 2020 George Floyd uprising by using ICE to guard their precinct building besieged by massive protests.

Five years later and where are we now? Every day another human being murdered in custody, through neglect or savage beatings. Robert Brooks and Messiah Nantwi. Five people have died at Rikers just this year. Two died in nyc holding cells just in the past month before even being arraigned.

Every day another neighbor disappeared in to some far off prison, never to be seen again (look up CECOT). Every day another student kidnapped by ICE. Every day another community invaded by fascists demanding papers and hunting Black and Brown people for sport.

Every day another family incinerated by USA-made bombs in Palestine and Yemen.

When will it stop? We must come to a point where we realize that NOTHING WILL STOP unless we MAKE IT STOP. No amount of appealing to politicians, to cops, to institutions like Columbia, will help us. Let go of that, and we free ourselves.

The Empire must fall. Strike where you are, at whatever institution you can that upholds this whole stinking pile of dogshit. Every strike against the NYPD is a strike for communities here and all over the world. May the strength of revolutionaries who have lived and died for liberation be with you.

Athens, Greece: ‘Provocateur Faction’ takes responsibility for the incendiary attack on the house and police guard of the Supreme Court President Ioanna Klapa

Posted on 2025/04/12 - 2025/04/12 by darknights

“Injustice is not anonymous, it has a name and an address”

Bertolt Brecht

In the early morning hours of June 27th [2024] we attacked the house and the police guard of the President of the Supreme Court, Ioanna Klapa, in the Papagos area. That summer evening found the cop who happened to be on duty instead of carelessly gazing at Instagram photos or playing slots (in earlier watches this seemed to be how those on duty spent their time) screaming from the Molotov cocktails that burned him and then being rushed to the emergency room by his colleagues, badly injured. And Klapa, instead of sleeping, fearfully putting out the fire in the entrance and garden of her house.

But why did we choose to attack Klapa while her house was being guarded?

First of all, it was an operational choice with three political considerations. It was not a matter of mere desire or convenience but of collective recognition of the need to attack, yes, using the element of surprise, but on a guarded target. In a field where, in theory, immediate engagement reflexes have been designed and provided for by the police guard to protect the high profile person. In this area there is not room for much analysis. Their preparedness and the proud spirit of the Greek police corps went out the window. Although their operational planning was disgraced, we, to tell the truth, acknowledge that we did not achieve anything particularly great. Life the next day went on as usual, a world of squalor and rot remained the same and the violence of apathy, misery and deadlock still lingers. We had no illusions that we would achieve the most decisive blow to the mechanisms of bourgeois justice and the police. To be a substantially dangerous pole in the social war, however, you have to sharpen the violent responses quantitatively and qualitatively. This is a finding that is eloquently described even by renowned academics and in particular by the jurist Manoledakis: “The overthrow of a political power, and especially today when the state has a perfected huge mechanism for eliminating its opponents, cannot be done on paper or with wishful thinking. In order for the ‘political criminal’ to reach his goal, he must willingly or unwillingly violate a multitude of legal value so that his crime always appears complex. The state is a legal value entangled with other legal values (human lives, personal freedoms, facilities, services, etc.). To reach it you have to go through these values”. So we recognized the importance of such an action and achieved a goal that was both realistic and decisive. To wound their confidence and arrogance, to wound the security they feel in the quiet of their homes and their service cars. We have succeeded, and literally. The burn scars of the security guard will be there to remind him and his colleagues when they notice them that they are in fact vulnerable no matter how much they may think otherwise.

Here lies the second aspect of the rationale behind our attack and the conditions under which it was carried out. The central outcome of our operational planning was to completely destroy the service vehicle and injure the cop, which is what happened. If to some ears this sounds too violent and alienating to their humanistic, pea-brained little minds, then we are speaking and addressing those who read this text and either consciously and with clear political and ideological commitment advocate revolutionary violence by all means or those who instinctively rejoiced and chuckled when they heard the news of a cop being injured that day. To all of them we say that this act was another contribution to the feud we have with the bollocks of the Hellenic Police. We owe this feud and its continuation to our dead. It is a deep and conscious choice with the first and foremost weapon being the determination that defines the need to avenge our dead.

Chile: (Memory) 17 years after the death of Jhonny Cariqueo

Posted on 2025/04/02 - 2025/04/02 by darknights

“A spoil towards the lazy louse
It is not a simple whim I reflect myself in your eyes
To demonstrate my old commitment
Hip-hop I wet the towel that cleans
The red fist I wave in battle
My people are no longer silent awake with their anger
The rich with their gold filling themselves with praise
The poor with their flowers filling themselves with love
We will be the actors of revolutions”

Jhonny Cariqueo Yañez

Seventeen years ago, in the framework of the Young Combatant’s Day in 2008, one of the most violent days of political street violence took place. Specifically, in the commune of Pudahuel, during the commemoration of the previous September 11, corporal Vera had been killed by a bullet in the head, while on March 26, 2008 a powerful explosive device was detonated in a bank of the commune, creating a subversive atmosphere and a spirit of revenge on the part of the police.

Jhonny Cariqueo Yáñez, 23 years old, a young rapper and anarchist who participated in different hiphop and neighborhood collectives, was arrested on March 29, 2008 at the intersection of La Estrella and San Francisco in the commune of Pudahuel, after a commemorative activity for the Day of the Young Combatant. He was taken to the 26th Police Station where he was brutally beaten, during the detention Jhonny began to feel strong pains in his arm and chest and was taken to an emergency center where it was suggested that he undergo tests, however, the miserable police refused to accept the check-ups. On the morning of March 30, he is taken to the 1st Police Station in Santiago, where he is released at 4:00 p.m.

The following day, March 31. Jhonny lies down on his bed and begins to show symptoms of cardiac arrest and is assisted by his family; however, in a few minutes comrade Jhonny Cariqueo dies.

The anarchic memory has been able to maintain the memory of the comrade present in the street, through incendiary action, activities, documentaries, murals, spaces, explosive actions and projects with his name, demonstrating that no death of our comrades is a sentence to oblivion.

Surabaya, Indonesia: Riot outside East Java government building against the new Military law

Posted on 2025/03/28 - 2025/03/28 by darknights

A violent clash broke out Monday in the Indonesian metropolis of Surabaya between police and demonstrators protesting against the country’s newly passed military law.

Around 1,000 students and activists dressed in black participated in the protest in front of an East Java government building.

Holding posters that said “Reject the Military Law”, and “The Military Should Return to the Barracks”, protesters hurled rocks, sticks, and Molotov cocktails towards the police guarding the demonstration.

The revision to the armed forces law, pushed mainly by President Prabowo Subianto’s coalition, was aimed at expanding the military’s role beyond defence in a country long influenced by its powerful armed forces especially under the brutal military dictatorship of Suharto called the “New Order” who were avowedly anti-communist and anti-anarchist. Large-scale killings and civil unrest primarily targeting members and supposed sympathizers of the Communist Party of Indonesia (PKI) were carried out in Indonesia from 1965 to 1966. Other affected groups included alleged communist sympathisers, Gerwani women, trade unionists, ethnic Javanese Abangan, ethnic Chinese, atheists, so-called “unbelievers”, and alleged leftists in general. The dictatorship eventually fell in the May 1998 Indonesia riots triggered by corruption, economic problems, including food shortages, mass unemployment, increasing repression, genocide in East Timor and following the 1997 Asian financial crisis.

Bremen, Germany: Switch off the security state! Four unmarked police vehicles set on fire at Doventor police station

Posted on 2025/03/18 by darknights

Switch off the security state! Four unmarked police vehicles set on fire at Doventor police station

On the night of 9 to 10 March, with several incendiary devices, we disturbed the mortuary peace of the police station in Doventor, on Daniel-von Büren Street, which was open. In good conscience, we set fire behind the station, in front of and in the parking lot.

To the cops:
That night, you arrested the wrong people. Again, you’re fumbling in the dark. You made the press, and therefore all of us, believe that you had everything under control. It’s more than embarrassing. This shows once again how arbitrary and racist your actions are, when we learn who you have arrested. Be ashamed and deal with your over-inflated authoritarian ego. Instead, recognize that it is possible to sneak into your police station and place incendiary devices under your vehicles.
Shame and fear must change sides. For more imitators.

To people aged 15 to 27:
We are really sorry that the cops harassed you because of our action and that you were held until Monday afternoon. We know what it’s like to be taken to a police station. It’s annoying. We hope you are doing well and that your friends are taking good care of you.

To our enemies:
The new German government wants more military weaponry. Everyone agrees to give even more money and murderous orders to the arms industries. Fascism is getting closer and closer. Everywhere we look in the world, we see crazy people, usually men, who are turning their inhumane, patriarchal, right-wing fantasies into reality. This diligently pushes to a new, lower level. We must not believe that this simply fell from the sky. In many countries of the European Union, it is rather an insidious process and thus everything that has to do with self-determination and solidarity is gradually being stifled. History repeats itself. Democracy, with its cowardly attitude, opens wide the doors to fascists. Hate campaigns are still trending in Germany, and remigration is on everyone’s lips.
As a result of these debates, the cops are also rearmed and they have more leeway and better weapons. We will not accept the violent and threatening behavior of the cops and the state. Four cars, with which the shitty cops spy on us, denounce us, threaten us, observe us, less…
Attacking the cops is an act of resistance and disarmament!

To our comrades in combat who are in prison and to all the comrades who are affected by the repression:
Rest assured: we will continue our common struggles against exploitation and oppression. Freedom and happiness for Maja, Hanna, Nanuk, Gino, Nele, Paul, Luca, Zaid, Paula, Tobi, Clara, Moritz, Marianna, Dimitra, Sarah… Fiery greetings to the anarchists of Munich, who were attacked during the night by 140 heavily armed policemen, and to the anarchists M. and N., incarcerated in Stadelhem.

To Burkhard*:
We read your discussion invitation text, “The Possibility of a Historic Moment is Now.” We too believe that in the coming years the situation will worsen so much that we may no longer be able to avoid an armed struggle. We will continue to discuss these options in our circles. Until then, we will attack the cruel authoritarian world with the current means, such as fire.

We also greet you and send you a lot of strength, wherever you are.

Until everyone is free!

Berlin, Germany: Wild demo in memory of Kyriakos Xymitiris

Posted on 2025/02/12 by darknights

On October 31 our anarchist comrade Kyriakos Xymitiris was killed and our anarchist comrade Marianna M. was severely wounded in an explosion in an apartment in Athens. She was brought to the Evangelismos Hospital, where she was treated under constant police surveillance, and later transferred to the pre-detention prison in Korydallos. In the aftermath of what happened that day also our anarchist comrade Dimitra Z, our comrades Dimitris and Nikos R. and another person have been arrested and imprisoned in the same case.

Since then sorrow and rage have been present in our lives. Sadness for losing a comrade who committed to the fight to the end and by all means; anger because it is this capitalist, racist and patriarchal system that killed him. Kyriakos did not choose to close his eyes on the economic and political interests of a few who condemn us to a life of misery through the sale of houses to vulture funds, labor precariousness, feminicides, borders and wars. In the city of Berlin Kyriakos he has been committed for years in the defense of released spaces and against gentrification, in the internationalist struggle, in the abolition of prisons, as well as in all social and class struggles.

His passion and believes for a new world free of oppression leave a huge emptiness in those who were around them, as well as in the struggle itself. However, his imprint through words and actions encourages us to keep the thread of the insurrection alive, thus continuing the vision of the social revolution present in our hearts and minds. A revolutionary action that understands the armed struggle as a decisive medium in favor of those of the bottom in the balance of power, which tries and manages to return to the state part of the violence that every day imposes us.

We understand that through the defense of his memory we also stand next to all those who gave their lives or and were imprisoned to fight against injustice, inequality and exploitation.

For all this reason and collecting the call of February 7 and 8 of the Greek comrades from Athens, we want to face those who try to pervert this memory. As well as express our solidarity to the comrades imprisoned in the same case. For this reason we decided to have a short wild demo through Friedrichshain where we had shared together many collective moments of happiness and rage. Obstacles were put on the streets, graffiti in memory of Kyriakos were sprayed. Afterwards in Rigaer Street arriving forces of the occupiers were fought with stones.

This neighborhood of Berlin, as well as other metropols in the world, has faced a huge process of gentrification. In the last years where collective spaces where evicted to be transformed in yuppi restaurants and shops, people with low sources are getting displaced to the periphery, the airbnb are rising while the rents are becoming unbearable and the policies about how to use the public space are more repressive.

We, as Kyriakos did, can’t turn our eyes away of this process that destroys the city and the different communities living there. We, the ones that believe in a better world, want to go out of this precarity where the ones not conforming the norm are condemned. For this reason, as many other protest and answers are taking place in different cities, we want to stand against it and continue the path that we already walk with our friend and comrade Kyriakos. This path that cost his life. Him in our minds, his ideas in our hearts. Together taking back the streets of Berlin and Athens again. Revolutionaries hearts burn forever!

Freedom for our comrades Marianna M., Dimitra Z, Dimitris and Nikos R.!

Greece: Position of the anarchist prisoner K.K. from the prisons of Kassavetias

Posted on 2024/12/09 by darknights

Our life is

pointless panting

at pre-programmed strikes

stooges and patrol cars.

That’s why I’m telling you.

Next time they’ll let us have it

we shouldn’t run. We should hold our line.

Let’s not sell our asses so cheap, man.

Don’t. It’s raining. Gimme a smoke.

Katerina Gogou ( Κ. Γώγου)

Voices and screams resound from inside the cells, behind the walls and barbed wire. Flocks of birds and warplanes fly over the prisons. No matter how much the morbidity of the times wants us to bow down, there will always be something stronger, the ability to respond with sparkling eyes, the stubbornness of those who fight for a more beautiful world, the fire that burns inside us and refuses to go out.

On 11/10 an explosive device is placed in a police investigation van. Local and not only media shoot with relevant articles. At the end of October, I am informed by my friends that there is a strong and constant presence of plain clothes police in the area where I live. At the same time, information about a 16-year-old boy being beaten up by a student fascist group in a neighbouring village is circulating. I was out of Messolonghi at that time and I returned with the aim of meeting the boy in person, to open up the matter and find ways to face it.

On 7/11 at noon, 100 metres from my house, I was arrested by eight plain clothes police. From the first moment I persistently asked the reason for my arrest. Instead of an answer, I received abuse and sarcasm. They put me in one of the two unmarked vehicles, while they confiscated the bicycle I was riding. They took me to a remote area near my neighbourhood, and there the abuse continues for about an hour and a half until they take me to my house, where two other unmarked vehicles were already waiting. A thorough search is carried out, during which all the electronic devices belonging not only to me but also to my siblings are confiscated, which made it impossible for them to communicate with our parents, as they were out of town for work, and also caused difficulties in my sister’s studies, for which she needs a computer. In addition, various objects that were considered incriminating were confiscated, such as spray cans, paints, brushes, books and printed material from the anarchist space. When they completed the search, they took me to the A.T. (police station)  where I was held for many hours in the police station handcuffed behind my back, without being allowed the one phone call I was entitled to and without having contacted a lawyer despite my insistence.

Later, having finally managed to contact a lawyer and my parents, I was taken to the detention centre and remained there until Tuesday 11/12, where I was expected to go through a prosecutor and an investigator. During my stay, there were constant police patrols on all sides of the section, as well as security guards around the perimeter of the area. On Tuesday morning, a huge horror show was set up with two mat riot cop vans, guardrails in front of the courts and cameras recording the ridiculous spectacle. At the end of the procedure, my pre-trial detention was decided, and on the morning of Wednesday 11/13 I was transferred to Kassavetia Prisons.

We live in morbid times, where even books are morally criminalized. This is something that we have observed in many similar cases, as well as something that I experience inside the prison given that any book sent to me has never come into my hands, under the pretext of disrupting the order and security of the establishment.

The plain clothes police and counter-terrorism regulations are well-known, so they do not surprise anyone. The obscene communication circus they are going to set up, the dirty work the media is doing in close cooperation with the cops, the ironies, the threats and the thumping do not terrify me. I owe this in large part to the people I have met along the beautiful trails of the struggle. Their warmth accompanied me during the cold nights in the detention centres of A.T. (police station) Messolonghiou, accompanies me in the prisons of Kassavetia and will accompany me in every dungeon of the republic. I have my head up and I intend to keep that attitude.

The social war is here and it is widening day by day, it is our duty to open wide the social relations and the values of self-organization. Foci of struggle everywhere from Messolonghi to Chile, from theory to practice and back again. Nothing is lost, nothing is over, we continue to march against state, capital, fascism, patriarchy, exploitative relations until our last breath… for a free world.

The support I have received really moves me. No matter how many lackeys they recruit to bend resistance, solidarity will crush them. Our anger is a river and it will drown them.

STRENGTH TO THOSE WHO STAND UP AGAINST EVERY FORM OF AUTHORITY

SOLIDARITY WITH THE COMRADES IMPRISONED FOR THE AMPELOKIPOI CASE

STATE AND CAPITAL THE ONLY TERRORISTS

UNRESERVED LOVE TO ALL COMRADES
