The trial of Kostas K for the attack on the vehicles of Minister Voulgarakis and his police escort in July 2007 started on 18 January at the Mixed Jury, with the significant presence of comrades and women.

The proceedings started with the testimonies of cops (state security, Voulgarakis’ guard, the ministerial guard). Despite the fact that one of the subpoenaed cops (Voulgarakis’ personal bodyguard who had opened fire on the comrades who had carried out the attack) was not present, the testimonies of the prosecution witnesses were completed in an orderly manner, more deconstructing the indictment than adding anything to it.
Next came the defence witnesses: a biologist who thoroughly demonstrated the inconsistencies and inadequacy of the prosecution’s case, which has dna as its sole “evidence”, and a comrade-sister of Kostas K.
And while the comrade was preparing to apologize, the prosecutor practically interrupted the proceedings, calling for the forcible bringing in of the last cop witness to testify, hoping that in him the last lifeline could be found, in order to save the deconstructed indictment.
The next hearing set for February 14 (9am) will begin with the cop’s testimony, if he eventually attends. This will be followed by the “apology” of comrade Kostas K

On Friday 13/01 we chose to attack the store of Sklavenitis and the town hall in Kaisariani causing material damage to the facades of the buildings.
The bloodthirsty bosses are transferring the crisis of capital onto the shoulders of our class. The more they oppress us, the richer they get. The bleeding of our lives, working every day in miserable conditions and not knowing if we will make it through the month with rents, electricity, water and supermarket prices skyrocketing, fills us with rage.
The state sends its minions to murder Roma for 20 euros and evict us from our homes for debts of a few hundred euros. The same, following in the footsteps of other European countries, is passing the new prison code, which makes the lives of prisoners even more miserable. At the same time we see that the resistance of the prisoners to this policy is being fought by the state with revengeful transfers, such as those of Th. Chatziangelou and K. Dimalexis. The state apparatus is heading towards murder and aims at the extermination of the comrades. Their apparent indifference to Th. Chatziangelou, who was on hunger and thirst strike since 19/12, while now (on the day of writing) he continues his hunger strike, was only a choice of theirs. His fraudulent transfer to the Korydallos hospital does not fool us and we know that it is a tactic for our complacency and not a retreat.
The attempt to silence and weaken insurrectionary, anti-authoritarian movements is a standard tactic of the state. Our response must be forceful and unyielding. We will not allow ourselves to be oppressed and robbed of our lives for the self-preservation of states and capital that work against us.

On Thursday night 12/1 we organized and carried out an ambush against cops of the DIAS group in the area of Zografou. The way the ambush was set up and the intensity of the attack we carried out, resulted in the serious injury of a cop and the total destruction of a motorbike -only this one arrived at the scene- of this particular group. The high strength of firepower used was proportional to the impunity of this group, which already counts 2 murdered Roma in the last 16 months and dozens of incidents of “police arbitrariness”. This was a powerful response to the crescendo of police repression orchestrated by the New Democracy government, which has given the police force free rein to beat, torture and shoot in cold blood, knowing that none of them will be punished and their crimes will be covered up by the lies of journalists, the impunity of the bourgeois justice system and the cover of the political leadership.
We say to the cops in the ranks and to their superiors. For the wanton violence you have used, we will punish you with our own hands. Your colleague’s cries of despair are proof of your weakness when faced with organized forces of revolutionary violence. Panic, pain, fear, insecurity, these are the emotions we offered you during the ambush against you. Draw your conclusions from them because your sense of omnipotence ended with a bang in a dead end at Zografou. With this action we want to pass the message that with organization, planning and discipline we can hit the forces of repression by causing fear and material costs to both animate and inanimate material.
The law and order doctrine that the New Democracy government has been applying since the first moment of its election has left behind dead, wounded, tortured and raped. The constant impunity of the cops is not an accidental fact but the essence of this doctrine. The trial of Revolutionary Self-Defence has ended
Comrade Vanggelis Stathopoulos was acquitted of the charges of membership of a terrorist organization, possession of weapons as a terrorist act, theft (O.Π.Α.Π.) and aggravated weapons possession.
Found guilty of simple possession of weapons involving a taser, an iron fist and a pocket knife, of the 19 years of imprisonment he was sentenced to in the first instance, he was sentenced to 10 months. A mitigating factor of subsequent good behaviour was recognised and the sentence was suspended.
Comrade Dimitris Chatzivasiliadis was found guilty on charges of forming and joining a terrorist organisation, possession of weapons as a terrorist act, theft (Ο.Π.Α.Π.) and simple possession of weapons. He was sentenced to 14 years’ imprisonment instead of the 16 years of the first instance.

On Monday, December 26, we set fire to 2 construction machines used at the construction site for the new metro line in May Day Square.
As soon as the time changed, we attacked the metro machines on Vikou Avenue in Galati. We realized that in the intense humidity in the air, there was a possibility of failure of the action. In any case, we decided to take the risk and the result was that 3 project machines were completely destroyed and probably some more were damaged, which was a positive thing for us.
What happened will in no way stop work on the metro, but it did result in 5 damaged machines which caused a good financial loss and sent a message of resistance. Perhaps our action caused a slight delay in the work process, but we will always prefer action to simply being a spectator to the absurd and sad reality.
It was easy to choose the target, not only for what it represents as a symbol but also for the practical use it contributes to the normalcy of cities. The subway, urban development works,bulldozers and other machinery are only an illustration of gentrification, progress, modernization, the destruction of nature and the imposition of the techno-industrial system. The events:
At dawn on 6 September 2016, 32 comrades throughout the Italian State were awakened by the civil police (DIGOS). The result of the first part of the police operation called “Scripta Manent”, ordered by the Turin Public Prosecutor’s Office through its investigator Roberto Maria Sparagna, is 15 suspects and 7 arrests. On the other hand, an eighth anarchist, in charge of the Anarchist Black Cross publishing project (now closed), is arrested after a house search against him in which batteries and an electrician’s manual were found. In addition to comrades Alfredo Cospito and Nicola Gai, already in prison since 2012 having been tried and convicted for the injury of Roberto Adinolfi, (CEO of Ansaldo Nucleare) action taken by “Nucleo Olga of FAI/FRI”, comrades Alessandro, Marco, Danilo, Valentina and Anna are arrested. In October 2022, within the framework of the zero tolerance doctrine, the new Penitentiary Code is passed, which among other things makes the granting of leave and the conditional release of prisoners even more difficult and essentially restores the C-type prisons with the “maximum security prisons”. In response to this law, on 28 October, mobilisations by prisoners in prisons throughout the country began. The state, in an attempt to intimidate those who are struggling, reacts vindictively, targeting some of them with threats and bullshit in their cells.
Thus, at dawn on Monday 19/12 the kidnapping of the political prisoner for participation in the organization Anarchist Action, Thanos Chatziaggelou, and his transfer from his cell in Korydallos to the prison of Nigrita Serres. In the same way, on 22/12, the transfer of comrade K. Dimalexis to the prison of Trikala was carried out. On the same night of his abduction, comrade Th. Chatziaggelou starts a hunger and thirst strike demanding the disclosure of the reason for his transfer and his return to Korydallos. The comrade’s health is in a very critical condition and he is in danger of suffering kidney failure or cardiac arrest. In an attempt to discredit his struggle, a verbal prosecution proposal is made to force-feed the striker, a practice that constitutes torture and endangers his health. In solidarity, prisoners G. Michaelides, F. Tziotzis, I. Rodopoulos, L. Vougiouklakis and F. Daskalas go on symbolic or non-symbolic hunger strikes, putting their bodies on the mound.
As a minimal sign of solidarity with comrade Th. Chatziaggelou and the rest of the strikers, we chose on 27/12 to attack by breaking the facade and throwing paint at the offices of the New Democracy party in Koukaki, which as a government applies the doctrine of zero tolerance, at least against those who do not enjoy its favour.
