Hamburg, Germany: Responsibility claim for the arson attack on a truck of the company Strabag in solidarity with Alfredo Cospito and the fighters in Lützerath

Posted on 2023/01/12 - 2023/01/14 by darknights

January 5, 2023

In memory of the hunger-striking anarchist Alfredo Cospito we set fire to trucks of Strabag in the Schanze on the night of Jan. 5.
Strabag does not only build jails. At least since the struggle for the Dannenröder forest, they have also often been the target of attacks because they actively destroy nature. Our fire should also give strength to those fighting in and around Lützerath. Day X has already been proclaimed.

“We are in solidarity with Alfredo Cospito, who has been on hunger strike since October 20, 2022 against his imprisonment in the 41-bis isolation regime and against life imprisonment without option of release. Alfredo’s detention conditions at the moment are slightly better than the previous weeks. He has lost a lot of weight and his health is relatively stable, but could become critical at any time. Two other prisoners in Italy, Anna and Juan have been on prolonged solidarity hunger strikes and Ivan Alocco, a prisoner in France is also supporting Alfredo through hunger strike. Toby Shone, who is in jail in England, is also supporting Alfredo by refusing to eat several days a week. (DN Note: Now out of Parc prison, under strict conditions, in a ‘semi-open’ detention structure.)
https://actforfree.noblogs.org/post/2023/01/01/italy-update-about-the-he…
We are also in solidarity with Thanos Chatziangelou of the Anarchist Action organization, who was illegally transferred from Korydallos to Nigrita prison in Serres on Dec. 19. Thanos started a hunger and thirst strike that day. The comrade is involved in the recent mobilizations in prisons in Greece against the new harsh laws that are currently taking place in many places and in which many prisoners have participated in recent months. Greece: Dimitris Chatzivasileiadis – Speech of internationalist solidarity in the context of the trial of the Organization Revolutionary Self-Defense

Posted on 2023/01/08 - 2023/01/08 by darknights

FOR INTERNATIONALIST SOLIDARITY

There are moments when silence is an invitation to crime. There are moments when silence is complicity. Georges Ibrahim Abdallah

You are guilty not only when you commit a crime, but also when you do nothing to prevent it when you have the opportunity. Dimitris Tsafendasi

Since May ’22, a counter-revolutionary trial has been taking place against anarchist fighters, for participation in the armed Organization Revolutionary Self-Defense. This trial comes at a time when the state-capitalist regime is climaxing its aggression against the oppressed, the exploited and excluded. The anarchist Dimitris Chatzivasileiadis is also on trial for this case, while he has taken responsibility, both in public and in this courtroom, for his participation in revolutionary struggle through the Organization of Revolutionary Self-Defense, as well as for keeping the weapons (which in the repressive operation of November ‘19, fell into the hands of the state), in order to continue the guerrilla struggle through the experience and strategy of the Organization Revolutionary Self-Defense. The court of appeal of this particular military tribunal of the counter-revolution will be completed in January ‘23.

Throughout the course of this trial, Dimitris Chatzivasileiadis has been defending the right of revolutionary struggle, the necessity of guerrilla organization and of the armed social self-defense against the tyranny of power, and has been deconstructing and attacking bourgeois justice and its counter-revolutionary laws, inside the enemy field. With an eye to the world revolution, from the beginning of the trial, Dimitris Chatzivasileiadis is speaking about movements and struggles in all parts of the globe, expressing solidarity with those who are struggling, with current struggles, with the political prisoners and their fight today, and with reference to fighters who have been killed. These days, a struggle in italian prisons is taking place; comrade Alfredo Cospito is on hunger strike already for more than 65 days, against the state of total isolation, 41-bis, that has been imposed on him. With the awareness of how critical Alfredo Cospito’s struggle is, comrade Dimitris made extensive reference to Alfredo’s fight, during the trial. Meanwhile, the italian authorities rejected Alfredo’s demand for his removal from the 41-bis regime, and the comrade is continuing the hunger strike. Rome, Italy: Those who burn on New Year’s Eve… Incendiary attack on four Hertz vans in solidarity with Thanos Chatziangelou, Alfredo Cospito, Ivan Alocco, Anna Beniamino and Juan Sorroche

Posted on 2023/01/06 by darknights

Those who burn on New Year’s Eve.

Rome. On New Year’s Eve we had zero desire to celebrate. We took to the streets full of rage. Supported by an unusual as well as thick fog, we attacked with fire the multinational Hertz, burning 4 vans. Those shits in Greece have made deals to supply vehicles to the cops.
We dedicate this action to Thanos, Greek comrade on hunger and thirst strike.
To Alfredo, on hunger strike for more than 70 days.
To Ivan, Anna, Juan and to all the anarchist prisoners.
Forza compas. Our hearts are with you.

For Direct Action.
For Anarchy.

Rome, Italy: ‘Being where they don’t expect.’ Claim of the arson attack against twenty-five Hertz vehicles, Greek police and their collaborators, in solidarity with anarchists on hunger strike and all anarchist and rebel prisoners worldwide

BE WHERE THEY DON’T EXPECT – ROME JANUARY 1 – 25 HERTZ VEHICLES SET ON FIRE

During the 1st night of the year we left flammable material and lit the triggers on ten HERTZ car rental vehicles parked along the Appia Nuova. According to media reports a total of 25 vehicles including cars and vans were devoured by flames.

Hertz collaborates with the Greek police by supplying them with vehicles at bargain prices thereby making itself complicit in the often murderous repressive violence that it exercises on a daily basis to protect the economic and political elites that dominate through the Greek state. On December 5 just past, on the very day before the anniversary of the death of the young anarchist Alexis Grigoropoulos, a policeman shot and killed a 16-year-old member of the local Roma community, Kostas Fragoulis, in Thessaloniki. The same had happened the previous year. The Greek police are responsible not only for the repression of the anarchist movement active in that country, but also for continuous violence through harassment, beatings, rape (a recent case occurred in a barracks in Athens) and murders against the poorest and most marginalized components of the population, as well as anyone who tries to organize to defend themselves against the systemic violence of capitalism, confirming themselves as the state organ predisposed to disciplining the exploited and oppressed. That is why anyone who collaborates with this institution is to be regarded as an enemy of anyone who fights for the freedom and self-determination of peoples in an internationalist logic, and treated accordingly. For these reasons we attacked Hertz in Rome and will continue to do so at every opportunity. We call through this action on Hertz, since we cannot appeal to any arguments and ethics since the only reasonable value and argument for this company is evidently profit and economic growth, to stop any cooperation with the Greek police, otherwise the losses caused by international anarchist solidarity could be greater than the profits…

With this gesture we want to send a message of closeness and solidarity to:

Thanos Chatziangelou, on hunger and thirst strike since December 19 in Nigrita Prison to demand explanations about his punitive transfer from Korydallos Prison;

to Alfredo Cospito, on hunger strike since Oct. 20 against the 41bis regime to which he has been subjected since May 2022 and the hostile life sentence;

to Ivan Alocco, again on hunger strike since Dec. 22 in solidarity with Alfredo, imprisoned in France being accused of several arson attacks against diplomatic and company cars;

to Juan and Anna; to Rupert recently arrested for accumulated sentences; and to Massimo, whose house arrest has been confirmed;

to Toby Shone forced into British jails and who will be subjected to particularly restrictive measures because of his claimed anarchism;

to all anarchist and rebel prisoners in the world;

to all those anarchists of action who stubbornly continue to risk their freedom to chase the craziest of dreams. Forward comrades! Our hearts beat in unison despite miles separating us!

Our comrades on strike instill in us determination. This is not the time of despair and resignation for us, this is the time of conscious anger that arms our will to act.

BANISH HESITATION – THIS IS THE TIME TO ATTACK!

AGAINST ALL AUTHORITY – CREATE 10 100 1000 DIRECT ACTION GROUPS!

BE WHERE THEY ARE NOT EXPECTED – BECOME DANGEROUS!

ALEXIS LIVES IN OUR EVERY ACTION! ETERNAL REVENGE!

MAY A BLACK JANUARY COME!

ALWAYS FOR ANARCHY!

Omar Nioi – Scripta Manent: a political trial against 20 years of history of revolutionary anarchism

Posted on 2023/01/04 - 2023/01/04 by darknights

Letter – Intervention of the anarchist comrade from Sardinia Omar Nioi
(convicted in the trial of “Operation Scripta Manent”) at the event held in Athens (A.S.O.E.E.) on December 19, 2022 regarding the anarcho-nihilist hunger striker Alfredo Cospito.

First of all, a greeting to all the comrades who were present in this initiative, a greeting and a special thanks to the comrades who promoted it. To this day, the weaving of international relations, exchanges and comparisons continues, as in the past, to be an essential element and always a living part of revolutionary anarchism, in order to strengthen our intentions.

Scripta Manent:
A political trial against 20 years of the history of revolutionary anarchism

The events:

At dawn on 6 September 2016, 32 comrades throughout the Italian State were awakened by the civil police (DIGOS). The result of the first part of the police operation called “Scripta Manent”, ordered by the Turin Public Prosecutor’s Office through its investigator Roberto Maria Sparagna, is 15 suspects and 7 arrests. On the other hand, an eighth anarchist, in charge of the Anarchist Black Cross publishing project (now closed), is arrested after a house search against him in which batteries and an electrician’s manual were found. In addition to comrades Alfredo Cospito and Nicola Gai, already in prison since 2012 having been tried and convicted for the injury of Roberto Adinolfi, (CEO of Ansaldo Nucleare) action taken by “Nucleo Olga of FAI/FRI”, comrades Alessandro, Marco, Danilo, Valentina and Anna are arrested. For the comrades, articles 270 bis (on association with terrorist purposes), 280 bis (on terrorist acts with lethal or explosive devices) and 285 (on massacre) are triggered for various reasons, which are in question starting from as far back as 2003 and all relating to a series of attacks specifically signed by the “Informal Anarchist Federation” through the cells FAI/Narodnaya Volya (FAI/ People’s Will), “Cooperativa Artigiana Fuoco e Affini FAI/Collaboration of Fire and Artifacts (Occasionally Spectacular))”, “FAI/RAT ((Rivolta Anonima e Tremenda/Federazione Anarchica Informale – Anonymous and Tremendous Revolt/Informal Anarchist Federation)” and “Nucleo Olga FAI/FRI” (FAI/IRF Cell Olga).

Thus, there is the umpteenth investigation of the Informal Anarchist Federation, another attempt to fish in the darkness just to secure a salary, which between the period of investigation and trial, makes as many servants of the State as possible fatten their pockets. During the first months of this operation, the arrested comrades have been subjected to bans on meeting each other, censorship of correspondence, complete isolation and several transfers. In April 2017, the announcement of the closure of the investigation – for those arrested and under investigation in September 2016 – added, in addition to the crimes previously contested, to 12 of the 17 original accused to Article 414 of the Criminal Code (on incitement to commit a criminal act with terrorist purposes) as authors and/or distributors of the work of the Anarchist Black Cross, the newspaper and the blog, making explicit reference to certain opinion articles and other articles from No. 0 to No. 3. With regard to the offence of incitement to crime, the aggravating circumstance of “committing the act by means of computer and telematic tools” is also mentioned. Atlanta, USA: Banner Drop In Solidarity With 5 Arrested Forest Defenders Charged With Domestic Terrorism

Posted on 2022/12/19 - 2022/12/19 by darknights

5 people have been arrested and charged with Domestic Terrorism for their alleged connection to Defend The Atlanta Forest movement in USA. These arrests were notoriously brutal, included the deployment of chemical weapons repeatedly, and placed unfounded charges against them in an effort to torture, terrorize, and brutalize.

We want every prison to burn, every prisoner to be free, and the violence of the state to be destroyed. We must stand in unflinching solidarity with all those arrested, and be committed to absolute resistance to any current or future state investigation, no matter what it requires of us. Anything less is unconscionable.

Carasco, Italy: Responsibility claim for the arson attack against MARR vehicles and warehouse in solidarity with Alfredo Cospito, Anna Beniamino, Juan Sorroche, Ivan Alocco, Toby Shone, Giannis Michailidis and the 11 turkish revolutionaries on hunger strike

Responsibility claim for the arson attack against MARR vehicles and warehouse in solidarity with Alfredo Cospito, Anna Beniamino, Juan Sorroche, Ivan Alocco, Toby Shone, Giannis Michailidis and the 11 turkish revolutionaries on hunger strike (Carasco, Italy, November 26, 2022)

Chiavari: Fire at Marr vehicles and warehouse

Dinner is served, tonight flambé.

On Saturday, November 26, a slightly overcooked dinner was served. We set fire to a dozen vehicles, the warehouse and the ventilation system of Marr in Carasco [near Chiavari, in Liguria], a company that profits from the distribution of food in state prisons. That night it was its managers who swallowed a bitter pill. With this gesture we want to send all our solidarity to Alfredo currently on hunger strike to the bitter end because of his detention under the 41 bis regime.
Probably, given their very nature as servants, their inability to act without being commanded by a superior, it is impossible for guards and men of state to understand, but against us 41 bis will have no effect. We don’t need puppeteers from within directing our actions, and if they think that by burying our comrade alive they can stop our tensions, they are sadly mistaken. It will only unleash more anger and solidarity.
We will not stop until Alfredo is out of 41 bis.

Solidarity with Anna, Juan, Ivan and Toby, fighting from inside with him, solidarity with Giannis Michailidis and the 11 Turkish comrades detained by the Greek state who are also on hunger strike to the bitter end.

We stand by the comrades affected by Diamante operation.

Long live Anarchy

La Paz, Bolivia: Claim of explosive device attack on Italian embassy

Down with the torture regime of 41 bis!

«…I was expecting a suggestion, a start from fellow experts. A often, in return for my enthusiasm, I received a good dose of «realism» that dampened or threatened to curb any «ambition». «realism» that dampened or threatened to curb any revolutionary «ambition», any impulse to action. Any revolutionary «ambition», any impulse to action. (…) I have come out of this kind of «dead end» only when I have decided in a clumsy, imprudent, crazy clumsy, imprudent, crazy, provocative way, to arm my hands. Then everything became easy», failure after failure, step after step, things started to «work». to work. I looked for my companions and I found them, we recognized each other, making the rejection of the We recognized each other, making the rejection of delegation and waiting our compass. compass. Many (perhaps too many) years have gone by since that time (…) and what I feel like saying is simply to follow one’s instincts and not to pay too much attention to the instincts and not to pay too much attention to the prudence of those who, from the top of their own who, from the heights of one’s own ‘lived’ life, push for moderation. Because that popular saying that says ‘you are born an arsonist and die a firefighter’ is not so far-fetched. firemen’ is not so far-fetched».

Alfredo Cóspito

It drizzles relentlessly and around the city of La Paz the mountain range is covered with snow. Here, the rich live several hundred meters below, in a warm and green valley, where they have surveillance and private guards at every corner. We descend from the icy hills to interrupt the violent peace of the bosses with the loud and damaging rumble of a homemade bomb. Something becomes evident and concrete: the managers of toxicity, misery and charity are not untouchable. No peace for us, no peace for them! Lecce, Italy: Sabotage of electric car charging stations in solidarity with anarchists Alfredo Cospito, Anna Beniamino and Juan Sorroche

Posted on 2022/12/19 by darknights

We learn from the media that at least seven electric vehicle chargers, located in various places in Lecce, have been sabotaged and rendered unusable by foam. On some of the columns were found the inscription “For Alfredo, Anna, Juan,” in reference to the imprisoned anarchists on hunger strike against the 41 bis prison regime and the hostile life sentence (Alfredo Cospito, imprisoned under 41 bis in Bancali Prison in Sassari, has been on hunger strike to the bitter end since Oct. 20, Anna Beniamino has been on hunger strike in solidarity since Nov. 7, while Juan Sorroche has been on strike for a month, from Oct. 25 to Nov. 24). According to local media reports, the sabotage took place “starting from at least last Friday [Dec. 2].”

Italy: Brief account of the preliminary hearing in the Genoa trial against Gianluca and Evelin

Posted on 2022/12/12 by darknights

At the preliminary hearing held at the Genoa Court on Dec. 7, both defendants were remanded for trial in relation to the crimes charged against them, excluding the aggravating circumstance charged under Art. 270 bis 1 c. p.

The trial will therefore begin with the filter hearing on March 7, and under the ordinary procedure remands both on charges of possession and carrying explosive material, attempted manufacture of explosive/explosive devices. Technically resuming the legal motivation, with regard to the disqualification of the purpose of terrorism, reference is made to the most recent case law on the matter, particularly Supreme Court ruling no. 36816/2020, according to which “it is not sufficient to carry out any violent political action, as it is necessary that the conduct is potentially capable of creating panic, terror and widespread sense of insecurity in the community and is aimed at organs of institutional leadership or constitutional importance, as a function of the attempt to overthrow the constitutional order or overthrow the democratic system.”
In the present case, the judiciary ruled, in line with the preliminary investigation judge’s previous assessment, that there could be no connection between the seized material and the violent actions induced by the prosecution, so the defendants are remanded for trial on the charges outlined above, subject to appeal by the prosecutor.

In addition to this small technical account of the hearing, below are some reflections on repression as a general and continuous activity of the state against the exploited.
Behind every legal choice, college or individual judge, there is a political choice that characterizes sentencing. Repressive activity is not always related in a directly proportional and linear way to the intensity of conflict that social and militant classes pose. The activity of preventing the conflict hypothesis and that of annihilating the internal enemy is continuous on the part of the state, and is aimed at maintaining order and class privilege. There are no happy islands or terms of action and thought within which the repressive response can be avoided, although the absence of radicality in the struggle, by taking away strength from the revolutionary possibility, determines in the social sphere and in the power relations only points in favor of the other side.
These days, with reference to comrade Alfredo Cospito’s struggle, it is pointed out that it is always ready for the annihilation of revolutionaries, through the instrument of torture, which practiced directly, more or less systematically in different historical periods, tends to control and repress every revolutionary expression and struggle, placing the monopoly of violence that characterizes its power at the center, and lashing out against anyone who dares to question this.
The vindictive tendency of the state is aimed at the annihilation of revolutionary identities and serves as a warning to the social partners struggling against the vicious conditions that capitalist exploitation imposes.
