As anarchists, communists, we struggle daily and by all means against the degradation of labor into a commodity, of the worker into an object, against the patriarchal devaluation of femininities and LGBTQ+ subjects. We fight, in other words, against every existing capitalist productive and social relation. This struggle confronting the bourgeoisie and the state is the necessary condition for the abolition of classes and for our liberation. The movements and means we use are always judged in the necessity of the class struggle.
Necessary are the means that rally the working class and the revolutionary proletariat, that fill their hearts with irreconcilable hostility to oppression, that intensify their contempt for bourgeois legitimacy, morality and their democratic mouthpieces, and that remind us of the consciousness of our historical mission.
Thus there are social and political developments and events that mark moments in the class struggle when we must escalate the intensity of our struggle. It is at these moments that revolutionary vigilantism is the only and immediate answer to express and defend the interests of the oppressed class.
One of these crucial events is the case of the (child) rapist and New Democracy appointee Dimitris Lignadis. Dimitris Lignadis is an integral link in the chain of the Greek bourgeoisie as well as a personal friend of New Democracy executives and ministers. At the starting point of the case, government spokesman Christos Tarantilis, tried to cover up for Dimitris Lignadis by stating that he resigned for personal reasons, while Lina Mendoni concealed their personal relationship, claiming that she was deceived by Dimitris Lignadis’ ‘deep hypocrisy’. Moreover, during the hearing of the case it became apparent that, unlike other cases of government scandals, he is not just a “front man” or “scapegoat” of the government to wash the political system, but a deeply rooted and organic part of the bourgeoisie and the New Democracy. A fact that is moreover obvious both from the release from prison and from the public moral support of Dimitris Lignadis in the recent articles of Kathimerini. At the same time the anarchist political prisoner Yannis Michaelides who is on hunger strike since 23/5 demanding his release is being exterminated by the judiciary and the government of the N.S. For all these reasons we chose to express our anger against the Ministry of Culture. Thus, after the end of the demonstration in defence of Exarcheia we attacked with 8 Molotov cocktails the grounds of the ministry on Zaimi street, delivering two of their official cars to the flames.

The Direct Action Cells take responsibility for the attack with an incendiary device at the house of the MP of the New Democracy and journalist of SKAI, Babis Papadimitriou, in Metz in the morning of 6/7. Wanting to honour the real freedom of speech that is persecuted and silenced in the Western countries, we gave the name of Julian Assange to the cell that carried out the action. So that we can recall what it really means to silence freedom of speech with persecution, prisons, courts, when a journalist exposes the war crimes and massacres committed by capitalism.
Babis Papadimitriou belongs to this category of SKAI journalists who redeemed the worm work he did for so many years with a parliamentary seat in New Democracy. The Anglo-Saxon model followed by the SKAI television group in defending New Democracy, as Portosalte had said, has another parameter. The function of SKAI as a political reservoir for future executives and MPs of the New Democracy.
We have mentioned the illusion of security offered by the arrogance of a dominant position of a political official or a big journalist. So now Babis Papadimitriou has crawled out of his house in front of the television cameras to protest against the state’s inability to stop terrorists.
A TV puppet with a consciously argumentative speech, whose persona has been skilfully manipulated over the years by the shipowners who have him on their payroll and the political managers of New Democracy. The similarities with Aris Portosalte are many. After all, together they have marked a period when SKAI was outraged by plaguing the social resistance to the imposition of the memorandum programmes. As a journalistic duo they provoked the anger and disgust towards them from the majority of society. It is provocative for the golden boys of the electricity companies to think that they will show off their wealth through their luxury cars, worth thousands of euros, which were granted to them for free thanks to an amendment by the Ministry of the Environment, and to believe that they will remain immune to the public’s anger.Nowadays, the cost of living is increasing geometrically. Electricity, water and gas bills come inflated by hundreds of euros. Basic foodstuffs such as bread, rice, pasta and vegetables have become luxury items. House repossessions and power cuts are on the increase. Rents are constantly rising. While the fake ‘electricity subsidy’ to the social base presented as a financial relief, in fact it is a scam of just a few euros, so few that sometimes they are not paid into our bills, is a communication weapon in the quiver of the criminals and crooks of the ND government. In the face of this constant devaluation of our lives, we are not prepared to simply watch journalists announce how much inflation has increased. Impoverishment and destitution are a consequence of the political choices of those who administer power. The economic crisis has demonstrated most emphatically that the ‘value’ of life depends on whether you are rich or poor. The rich enjoy their bloody privileges and have freepasses to rooms and intensive care units when needed, while the poor are left to die stained in the corridors of understaffed and underfunded hospitals. The only freepass the poor are to be given is for the front lines of imperialist wars. The state officials who organize our exploitation, the banks, the big bosses and the goldenboys who plunder our nature and our lives, the “parrots” of power who turn white into black and instruct us, as the new Antoinettes, to eat sponge cake if we have no bread, must be put in the crosshairs of the oppressed and the exploited. For all these reasons, at noon on Friday 8 July, we handed over to the flames a luxury car of large capacity parked outside the offices of the Public Power Corporation and belonging to a major executive of that company.To our plundering and impoverishment we must respond with assemblies, occupations, strikes, expropriations, conflicts, arson, demonstrations

For about two months now, comrade Giannis Michailidis has been fighting a dignified struggle from the cells of democracy with the aim of his release by the last resort of a hunger strike. The values of a rebellious life are condensed in the face of the comrade and his choices in the context of the struggle against the tyranny of power highlight the consistency and refusal to submit to the dictates of the state. From the battles at the barricades with the forces of repression, to the expropriation of a bank in a state of illegality, the comrade remains firm in the tradition of anarchists who for two centuries have used every available means in the struggle for freedom.
It is precisely this intransigent attitude that puts him in the crosshairs of the state-judicial complex that chooses his torture and slow death, revealing the true role of bourgeois justice. It is in fact the mechanism for the material and moral extermination of those who resist the capitalist system and the culture it represents.But the comrade is not alone in this struggle, he has by his side all those who actively challenge the rotten establishment.
Thus, in response to the call of revolutionary solidarity and in the context of the coordination of aggressive actions, we take responsibility for the placing of an incendiary device at the house of the Vice President of the Supreme Court Dimitris Krani in the area of Papagos, on July 9. We chose a high-ranking man with a rich career in the judiciary, who went on to become deputy minister of justice in 2019, and decided to make fear his experience as well, by bringing the hostilities to his quiet neighborhood. We were careful to limit the force of the strike to the extent that it would not endanger the two dogs running free in his backyard, because we do not subscribe to the logic of collateral damage. We have therefore sacrificed some of the scope that a larger explosion would have had in the public area, while sending a clear message to him and his colleagues. Athens, Greece: Responsibility claim for the arson of a UNISON vehicle
On the 55th day of the hunger strike of Giannis Michailidis, we burned a UNISON vehicle in the area of Metaxourgiou, on Constantinople Street. To support the comrade in his struggle for freedom and as an effort to give strength to the movement in the coming days and nights.
UNISON is a company that collaborates with the municipality of Athens in the privatization and exploitation of parks and streets – with the end result being the death of life in all public spaces, and the transformation of the city into a commercialized Disneyland. The struggle to defend Exarcheia also necessitates an attack on UNISON, as it is responsible for the gentrification of Strefi Hill. The company has an open mandate to facilitate the cops in the repression of public spaces and the evacuation of squats. They are also part of the class war against the poor, as they rent workers. Instead of decent wages and working conditions, the company pays peanuts and violates workers’ rights, earning goodwill for their rich bosses and shareholders.
UNISON advertises on its vehicles that it is an “exclusive partner of ISS”. ISS is a Danish security and site management company that maintains prisons and immigration detention centres in Belgium and France, offers security on public transport, as well as “security solutions”, with workers or surveillance techniques on every dirty job.
The state, in its desire to take all ground from the anarchist space and the broader antagonistic movement, by evacuating squats, attacking universities, tear-gassing neighbourhoods, will face the transformation of the city into a battlefield. If the strike doesn’t end well, we will do everything to turn the next few weeks into a nightmare for those in charge, creating situations they can’t handle. Burning cars, interventions, banners, broken windows and clashes must become the experience of this tourist season.

Spoleto, Italy: The premeptive class warfare of the Italian state
THE PREEMPTIVE CLASS WARFARE OF THE ITALIAN STATE
The arrests that took place in the early morning of Tuesday, July 19, on a warrant from the Piacenza prosecutor’s office are indicative of the repressive climate in Italy and the authoritarian turn underway. Four SI Cobas trade unionists were placed under house arrest for the long cycle of struggles that inflamed logistics from 2014 to 2021. Along with them, two USB unionists were also placed under house arrest and two others are the recipients of other precautionary measures. Prosecutor Grazia Pradella’s charges are of criminal conspiracy, private violence, resisting a public official, sabotage, and interruption of a public service, finalized by extortionist intent in order to obtain better wage conditions for workers.
We do not believe that we should be outraged, as is happening in these hours, by this repressive operation, but rather point out that it is an open manifestation, a true confession, of the mentality of the bourgeoisie in this historical period: for the gentlemen of GLS, Amazon, FedEx-TNT, as well as from the arrogant statements that are being uttered every day by the leaders of Confindustria, everything must be granted, everything must be permissible for them. Even putting up a tough fight for a wage increase becomes extortion. The whole loot belongs to them by right, one must not dare to ask, one must not struggle. The charge of extortion is thus not a scandal, if anything, a sign of the times.
This repressive operation stands in open complicity with the murders of Abd El Salam, which occurred, moreover, in Piacenza itself in 2016, and Adil Belakhdim, who was murdered last year in the province of Novara. In both cases, the murders occurred during a strike picket, the same pickets that have been attacked repeatedly in recent years by police charges and assaults by corporate henchmen. Chile: On anarchist prisoner Marcelo Villarroel’s sentence computation review hearing
Today, July 5, the sentence computation review hearing in favor of Marcelo Villarroel took place before Judge Carolina Gajardo, of the 7th Guarantee Court of Santiago. In this hearing, Marcelo’s defence denounced before the Court the illegality of the Gendarmerie’s action of increasing by 21 years the minimum time of his effective sentence to be eligible for parole. Before this modification, he could have applied for parole in December 2019. This action, covered by the modification of DL 321 by law 21.124 in December 2019, violates a series of fundamental guarantees, especially the non-retroactivity of criminal law and the principle of in dubio pro reo, established in the Constitution (art. 19 n3), in the Criminal Code (art. 18) and in a series of international human rights treaties ratified and prevailing in Chile.
The Prosecutor’s Office was also present, represented by prosecutor Arturo Gómez, who argued that Marcelo must still serve sentences of more than 30 years, given the sentences of the Military Prosecutor’s Office, and that this request of the defence had already been resolved in a negative manner by the Court on repeated occasions, and should therefore be rejected (despite the fact that this is the first action for sentence computation).
In the pleadings, the National Institute of Human Rights also appeared, whose delegate referred to read the general conclusions of a report they prepared in the year 2021 on this matter, in which they provide the grounds for which this modification of Decree Law 321 has been applied in violation of fundamental guarantees of persons deprived of liberty. However, at the hearing, this entity did not express its opinion in relation to the specific case for which its assistance was requested and which was being discussed (despite the fact that this same report explicitly refers to the case of Marcelo Villarroel), even stating that this matter should be resolved by the trial judge.
Finally, Judge Carolina Gajardo rejected the request, basing her decision on the fact that this discussion had already been settled previously and in various instances, and that she was not competent to rule on the actions of the Gendarmerie, leaving Marcelo without legal protection.
The legal team is already preparing the appeal to this resolution, as well as the different motions that will continue to be filed until Marcelo is released.

People’s lives in the big cities have become so empty. People have ended up dragging their carcasses through a daily suffering and a constant despair just to take a picture of a utility bill at the end of the day and post it on social media with digital cries of futility about a world that leads nowhere and a reality that is unbearable for them in the capitalist machine. People’s eyes have been trained to remain glued to the screens with their brain functions losing touch with their emotions, anger, hatred for the degradation of this rotten world, pain for their neighbor, history, memory, nature. People have been trained to watch the world in a digital reality that runs at ever greater speeds and end up being inert beings in this digital consumption without shaping events. And we, among others, somewhere in the margins of Existence of today, humbly trying to keep the flame alive from the eyes of the people we have lost by our side.

In this way we have honored our dead: We carried the incendiary device for our attack on Real as if we were carrying the remains of the dead of the social war. Two years exactly after the death-state murder of Vassilis Maggos we did this action and the spirit of Vassilis was inside us smiling at us.
At dawn on 13/07 we left an incendiary device of small power on the ground floor of the building outside the door of the Real News – Real Fm snitches. After the external destruction of the door, a fire broke out in the upper part of the building through the duct resulting in the total destruction of the premises of Real News and Real Fm, as well as a shipping company located in the same building. Our action was planned in such a way that no human (or non-human) life such as a passerby, resident, animal or worker/employee would be endangered, as it was, even though Mitsotakis and his mouthpieces would wish for the opposite. We therefore recommend that people keep calm and not eat the lies of the state narrative of events raw because as we will explain below, we live in a reality of lies. For any inconvenience to the working sound engineer of the building due to the murderous negligence of her bosses in not making adequate provision for easy egress of the building, we will seek a public apology from her exclusively, saying in retrospect publicly and humbly that our purpose was to make a symbolic attack. After all we knew the specifications of our action and that it would not put an innocent person at risk in a concrete building in front of Kifissias Avenue in Maroussi. And we reiterate that this is a fact already. It is not a theoretical scenario or an intuition in the realm of probability. It is funny the dimensions and magnitude of the lie given around this issue in the mainstream media, indicative that Greece is one of the countries that are hitting rock bottom in terms of freedom of the press since everything is directed as updates from the government’s mouthpiece. Anyway, we are one of those parts of the working class that is fighting its own struggles alongside many other workers and in no way would we want to harm a sound engineer, but only cause material damage to the building at material cost to their bosses. The crocodile tears of the New Democracy fascists for the worker have provoked our above anger with their crude hypocrisy. I wonder if they ever felt any pain for the many employer murders that have occurred recently such as the electrician Christos Zorbas in the HPEIROS industry or the murder of the COSCO dock worker? Hypocrisy, hypocrisy, hypocrisy… that is all that characterises the vulgarity of those in power. And to clarify the landscape, to answer that if we wanted to kill as presented by the “4th power” i.e. the executive organs of the lie of the state, which are the journalists, we would come one morning with a crowd of workers inside the offices and leave the device. But because we simply did not and do not have such a purpose to endanger ignorant people, obviously for all the reasons in the world we did not choose to do so. Last Wednesday 07/13, a rally was held outside the women’s prison in San Miguel (Chile) demanding that the minimum conditions of health care be met, due to the prohibition of using the patio during the hours that correspond to the female prisoners, etc. Thus dozens of fighters, activists and fellow militants from the October 18 Coordinator were present to denounce this situation that is being experienced in the women’s prison.
On the outskirts of the latter, the bars of the gates were banged loudly so that the political prisoners of this damn government of Boric and the Chilean Communist Party could hear from inside. Likewise, a letter from the political prisoner Monica Caballero was read; from the Coordinator for the Freedom of Political Prisoners on October 18, words were also expressed and from the International Network for the Freedom of Political Prisoners and Justice for Our Martyrs we were as well part of this demonstration carrying the brave voice of Giannis Michaidilis, a Greek political prisoner who has been on a hunger strike for more than 40 days fighting for his freedom against the bourgeois state and the damned justice of the Troika.
The reason is the bourgeois states, their damned justice, whether it is the Pinochetista one or the imperialist Troika’s one, are there to persecute, condemn and intimidate the workers in struggle, the rebellious youth who fight against this capitalist system and all those who face governments and exploitative regimes.
The fight to free Giannis, all the young Greek and Chilean rebels, and all the political prisoners in the world must be one and the same fight.
