Bristol, UK: Anarchist Prisoner Toby Shone Sentenced

Anarchist prisoner Toby Shone was sentenced to 3 years 9 months in prison for 8 drug offences at Bristol Crown Court on October 13, 2021 after Terrorism charges were dropped. He has already served 8 months of this sentence on remand.

The ‘drugs’ were psychedelics and medicinal plants (LSD, DMT, cannabis, THC oil, MDMA and magic mushrooms) found at two of the four properties raided by counter-terror cops in the UK South-West on November 18, 2020 in their hunt for the administrator of anarchist website 325.nostate.net.

Toby was originally charged with providing a service enabling others to access terrorist publications contrary to section 2 of the Terrorism Act 2006, fundraising for terrorist purposes contrary to section 15 of the Terrorism Act 2000, and two counts of possession of information likely to be useful to a terrorist contrary to section 58 of the Terrorism Act 2000. He had pleaded not guilty to these charges earlier this year and was due to stand trial at Bristol Crown Court on October 6, 2021. However, with no evidence to put before the court, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) was forced to drop these charges on October 1st. This was a landmark attempt by the British State and the deranged Home Secretary Priti Patel to prosecute an anarchist under modern terrorism legislation.

The investigation into 325 continues and cops continue to harass and attempt to intimidate one of Toby’s comrades at her home.

Toby is in good spirits and remains strong. He hopes to delay being transferred to another prison until he has had his annual MRI scan for cancer which is scheduled for this month with his medical team in Bristol, so please continue to send letters of support and birthday cards (it is his birthday on October 20th) to:

Bolivia: Incendiary device placed at the Chilean Consulate in La Paz

The neighborhood of Calacoto in the South Zone of the city of La Paz, where the rich take refuge behind its walls and its private guard, saw its passivity interrupted by the placement of an incendiary device composed of 10 liters of gasoline, black powder and a timer clock, which unfortunately did not fulfill its objective.

The detonation system was powered by a 9v battery which, when the circuit was closed, was supposed to heat a resistor which, in contact with the gunpowder, would cause the ignition of the fuel. We do not know the reason why the explosion did not take place, since the information given in the press about the characteristics of the device are falsified. The system had already been tested, but we think that it could have been the battery that failed, or, otherwise, the device was deactivated before detonation.

Power and its repressive apparatus have attacked anti-authoritarian spaces and compas that are resisting the confinement in different territories. This action is a wink of complicity, solidarity and revenge with all those comrades kidnapped in the dungeons of the States. Nuremberg, Germany: DB Schenker truck torched

We torched a truck of DB Schenker in front of the Nuremberg jail in the night from 15. to 16.10.2021. The company DB Schenker earns its money among other things with the logistics for NATO forces and is responsible for armament transports to the Turkish army:

“DB Schenker, a subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn, manages a large central warehouse for the German armed forces in Kassel-Kaufungen together with its partner company ESG Elektroniksystem- und Logistik-GmbH. Berlin, Germany: Amazon transporter torched in Kreuzberg

Will some Berliners now have to wait for their parcels for nothing? On Tuesday morning at around 5:10 a.m., the fire department and police were called to Segitzdamm (Kreuzberg) to a burning vehicle.

The emergency services found an Amazon van on fire. A van parked next to it and another car were also damaged.

Firefighters were unable to prevent the Amazon van from burning out. Shortly afterwards, another car was on fire in Gitschiner Straße.

In all cases, arson is to be assumed.

Finally we arrived at the so much awaited «restart».

Economic recovery at all costs is certainly not a «return» to freedom and happiness for individuals but a demand for total self-abnegation towards the needs of the market. There is a red thread linking dramatic episodes such as the Mottarone massacre [on 23^rd March 2021 a cable car crashed to the ground from the summit of Mottarone, a mountain near Lake Maggiore in northern Italy, killing fourteen passengers], six deaths a day at work, attacks on porters on strike and imposing the green pass on all workers: this red thread is called the restart of the capitalist economy. On Sunday night, the new office of the coworking network Impact Hub at the corner of Schomburgstraße and Thedestraße in the Altona district was relieved of some of its glass. We don’t want your green and improved capitalism. We want the complete overthrow of social relations. A simple administrative sanction was not enough for the police, they wanted to pile it on by charging us with “publication or spreading of fake, exaggerated or tendentious news aimed at upsetting public order” (Art. 656 of the penal code). To be accused of spreading fake news precisely by those who defend a system which always lies, manipulating and terrorizing the population with the aim of legitimatizing the most abject political and repressive practices is paradoxical to say the least.

But what did those posters say that was fake?
