For Alfredo Cospito
Text of Solidarity by the Members of Revolutionary Struggle
Pola Roupa and Nikos Maziotis
The physical and moral extermination of revolutionary fighters and political prisoners, or the coercion of them into political renunciation and repentance, has been the goal of the State and capital throughout time. In order to achieve this aim, States have created special conditions of detention and isolation for those who took up arms against the regime, for those they call “terrorists”.
One example of special detention today is the Italian model under Article 41 bis.
Under Italian law, the Minister of “Justice” is given the right to lift the rules of treatment of some prisoners and order their transfer to special conditions of detention. The special conditions based on Article 41 bis impose complete social and sensory isolation, limiting contacts with other prisoners, limiting visits to one (1) per month with relatives, not by physical contact but through a glass partition, limiting, prohibiting, correspondence and the possession of books, shrinking prisoners’ exercise period to one (1) hour per day and increasing the time of confinement inside the cell.
These conditions are a form of torture aimed at crushing militant prisoners and in general those under this regime. Continue reading “Greece: Pola Roupa and Nikos Maziotis: For Alfredo Cospito. Text of Solidarity by the Members of Revolutionary Struggle”
DN: Missed from 18th August
Comrades Monica and Francisco,
These words travel to your side from a cell far from your own. They carry with them the same complicit thoughts that crush borders and walls. The same persistence and impatience to return to the paths of fire. These thoughts do not die every day on the bars and uniformed figures that separate us. They remain alive accompanying the same necessity for yet another coherent plan to deliver to fire and gunpowder the order and security of this aging world.
Day by day more and more pieces of sky are being given away to the steel grid. And one question torments my head more and more: is it the concrete that grows taller or is it bowing its head lower and lower? But life itself comes to answer. Prison will not defeat us, comrades. For we remain with the same pride, wholeheartedly committed to the horizon of overthrow.
New formations of direct action are being formed in the territories where we have hitherto declared ourselves irrevocably present. New plans of attack are taking shape, travelling to all the metropolitan centres the deafening necessity of attacking the exponents of violence and exploitation of the oppressed.
Travelling to the present day, the words of the Italian guerrillas of armed autonomy are necessary to remind our tyrants that uncertainty is the most unbearable thing. No matter how many years of captivity may pass, we will remain irrevocably committed to the vein of imprinting theory through practice, proudly defending the anarchist guerrilla war. We are the links in the coherence of the past, present and future of insubordination, rupture and subversion. We will not be broken by incarceration for a moment. For will and necessity in the face of captivity are like the hands of a clock: while time tries in vain to divide them, they traverse individual revolutionary paths beginning and ending always at the same point.
I send you my wholehearted sympathy while holding my breath for the hostilities to come. All our strength to the incarcerated international community of anarchist guerrilla warfare and a raised fist to every fighting initiative that insists on clashing head-on with the order of this world.
Immediate release of comrade Marcelo Vilarroel Sepulveda
We do not forget the revolutionaries everywhere who have honoured with their lives the barricades of proletarian violence.

Hunger strike of anarchist GIannis Michailidis as a sign of solidarity with the 11 fighters and hunger strikers from Turkey
On 7th of October, the 11 fighters from Turkey Ali Ercan Gökoğlu, Burak Agarmış, Hasan Kaya, Sinan Çam, Şadi Naci Özpolat, Halil Demir, Anıl Sayar, Harika Kızılkaya, Hazal Seçer, Sinan Oktay Özen and İsmail Zat started an indefinite hunger strike with the main demand of a fair trial.
From today, Saturday 12 November and for one week I am starting a hunger strike in support of their difficult struggle. Their trial starts this Wednesday 16 November in the courtroom of Korydallos prison.
I also want to send a signal of solidarity to the anarchist comrade Alfredo Cospito who has been on hunger strike since 20 October against the torture regime of article 41-bis, but also to the anarchist Anna Beniamino and the anarchists Juan Sorroche Fernandez and Ivan Alocco who are on hunger strike alongside him.

The Greek justice system doesn’t have a problem, it is the problem itself
Direct Action Cells claim responsibility for the following incendiary attacks:
At the home of the judge Panagiota Yioupi, at dawn on Friday October 14, in the Glyfada area.
Youpi is one of the many servile puppets of the gang that operates under the name of Greek justice. She presided in the trial of the child rapist and member of the Mitsotakis family, Dimitris Lignadis, who was released from prison after being found guilty of raping underage children. She is a judge who is part of the influential entourage of the drug-dealing shipping tycoon Vangelis Marinakis, having issued a series of provocative rulings in favor of his interests during her term as a judge in Piraeus.
Yioupi is relentless when confronted with the poor, handing out years of sentences with the same ease she would hand out toys at a children’s party. But she has a peculiarity, she turns into a sensitive and soulful person when confronted by people from high society, with political connections, access and financial clout.
Papachiou occupies the highest levels of the cesspool known as civil justice. The throne that she sits on as vice president of the Supreme Court is built from the pain of shattered human lives destroyed by prison.
Our decision to target her, apart from her institutional role, is related to the fact that she is currently involved in the Novartis scandal, being a member of the special court that is currently trying state prosecutors and government officials from the former SYRIZA government, as defendants for allegedly orchestrating a conspiracy in this particular case. She is also a court tribunal member for the upcoming trial of a former SYRIZA minister in a case regarding TV licenses. In fact, in order for Papahiou to be a member of these tribunals, she was hastily promoted to the rank of deputy-president a few days before the selection of tribunal members took place. Without any desire to get involved in the shifting alliances and infighting of this rotten political establishment, we recognize that this court is acting as a white-washing machine for sections of the political elite who are involved in the Novartis scandal. An international scandal that demonstrates with surgical precision how capitalism works. Multinationals, big pharma and politicians were complicit in the criminal regulation of drug prices in the health sector. They were complicit in the dismantling of public hospitals, in the operation of an organized international state-economic mafia that exploited in the worst possible way one of the most basic services, that of health. The government’s systematic attempt to present this scandal as a frame-up goes hand in hand with its refusal to demand compensation from the company. Our choice to strike at one of the puppets that are part of the government’s white-washing is intended to highlight all of the above. During the night from 31.10. to 01.11. we set fire to SPIE and MIELE vans in the south of Leipzig. SPIE has been known as a prison profiteer for years. The company is involved in both the construction and operation of prisons worldwide.
For us, MIELE is representative of German imperialism in Greece. The appliance manufacturer has previously been the target of attacks by the Revolutionary Organization November 17 there.
Our hearts burn for all the rebels in the dungeons of the state who continue their struggle. They burn for Alfredo and Juan who are on hunger strike in Italy. They burn for Giannis Michailidis, who was on hunger strike from May to July this year and unfortunately had to suspend it without “success”.
Freedom for Anna, Juan, Giannis and Alfredo!

As Direct Action Cells we take responsibility for the incendiary attack on the home owned by the child rapist, pimp and member of the New Democracy party Elias Michos, and his ex-wife Elizabeth Lekka. In the early morning of 23/10, we placed a low-powered incendiary/explosive device at the entrance of their apartment building in the Attica area.
POLICE – JUSTICE – GOVERNMENT – MEDIA
An organised ring promoting and covering up pimps, rapists, child rapists, murderers and torturers – The cutting edge of the domestic capital mafia
“This is the practice and to whom it may please” – Demosthenes Pakos (police “unionist”)
For those who still insist on not understanding the systemic support and cover-up of police and fascist attacks, for those who still insist that the judiciary is neutral and independent of the domestic bourgeois elite and the whole mechanism of consolidating and monopolizing the violence it practices, for those who were not satisfied with the acquittal of the pimp and child rapist of the New Democracy, Nikos Georgiadis, the “special-friendly treatment” of the mafia boss Menios Fourthiotis, but also the full release on parole of the New Democracy’s Petros Lefkowitz for the serial rapes of his daughter since she was 11 years old, we would like to list only a few of the recent cases where the full complicity of the civil justice system with the scum who destroyed lives was proven. All this is already known, we are simply quoting it in a condensed form to make it absolutely visible that STATE AND CAPITAL VICTORY, VIOLATE AND KILL, that their very nature is exploitation, barbarism, devaluation of lives and the imposition of terror, and that every aspect of political and social life is class and value-determined. It is a SYSTEM FOR PRODUCING TERROR, VIOLENCE AND DEATH, with the corresponding mechanisms of communication management and laundering.
A message like an arrow tearing down the walls of 41bis
A solidarity message from captive member of the Organization Anarchist Action to anarchist guerilla Alfredo Cospito, who is on a hunger strike against isolation regime 41bis.
For some, the cohesion of comradeship is built on shared positions or philosophical opinions. In an empty dimension where common words are far from action. In the guerilla war what makes us comrades is the common enlistment in this war, the choices, the hostilities behind the mound of the anarchist struggle. And when we are wrapped in chains our common component is complicity, political responsibility, unrepentant stability in the same paths. It is the dedication to the pace of the path of fire.
Urban guerilla anarchist Alfredo Cospito has been held captive in the prisons of the Italian state since 2012. He has proudly claimed political responsibility for the shooting of Ansaldo Nucleare’s CEO, Roberto Adinolfi, an action carried out by the Olga Core of the Informal Anarchist Federation (FAI- IRF). Since then he has remained an unrepentant enemy of tyranny. The constant persecutions against him, the status of exception and the restrictions, although they constantly intensify his isolation, both from his social and from his political-social environment, they do not bend Alfredo’s rebellious will, his thirst for new moments of rebellion. Since 2016, under the cover of the anti-terrorist operation Scripta Manent, Alfredo has been accused of leading the FAI, a sentence that essentially aims at his life imprisonment. And yet he still defends the Anarchy of action. Anarchy that is hostile towards power and people of authority, Anarchy that arms itself and attacks. Just as the sun cannot set from the sunrise, the police forces cannot be on campus. We take responsibility for the Molotov cocktail attack on the platoons at the main entrance of the university in the early morning hours of Saturday, October 1. We took advantage of the advantage provided by the terrain morphology of the field and having an altitudinal superiority we ran the two MAT platoons into flight towards the Egnatia road. With a simple tactical move, which requires excellent timing and discipline, we took them by surprise as they did not notice us until they saw the light of the flame. As soon as we got within range they shouted in panic “COME ON!”, dropping their helmets and shields back. We retreated calmly and without a chase, leaving the platoons to seek their honor among the still burning flames.

…And life became the biggest lie
There is no police brutality
There are only bloodthirsty protesters in a brutal fury
with the breakneck speed of desperation
the com-mat-asfalites1, the chemical tear gas, the shields.
the helmets, the incubating cages
the snake eggs of the fascist crawling society….
George Tsingos and the Black Circles
Watching the domestic news of the last few months, one will see that despite the social reactions that have developed, the isolation and suppression of the antagonistic movement as well as the imposition of unprecedented social control measures remains a key objective of the Greek state. The gentrification of Exarcheia includes the construction of a metro station in the square, the redevelopment-privatisation of the Strefi Hill and the blocking of access to the Polytechnic and aims to uproot the revolutionary tradition of the area. Similarly, the installation of MAT platoons and all kinds of cops inside the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki aims to sterilize the university premises from any voice of opposition to the bosses. But beyond hitting the movements, the hiring of thousands of new cops, the millions given to equip the police and their constant presence in the public arena on every occasion set the tone of the new social contract. And all this at a time when society is being impoverished anew, with precision pushing those from below to the limits of survival. In a nutshell as Petsas arrogantly informed us adaptation (to capitalist and state dictates) or death.
The effort by the current government to restructure the education system and especially the universities begins the very next day after its election with the abolition of the university asylum. Their pretext was to crack down on lawlessness and instil a sense of security. This was followed by the passing of Law 4777 in the midst of quarantine to avoid major social reactions. The response to those that were manifested was a display of fierceness and brutality. Just a few examples:
