Mexico City, Mexico: Explosive Attack against “Ricardo Flores Magón” Police Station

After midnight…

On September 3, 2022, we set off an explosive artifact made with dynamite, gunpowder, ammonium sulfate, nitrates, phosphates and butane gas. This happened at approximately one in the morning at the Ricardo Flores Magón Police station located in Jaime Torres Bodet and Ciprés streets of the Santa María la Ribera neighborhood in the territory occupied by Mexico City.

We are anarchists. We repudiate that the Mexican Police dare to use the name of Ricardo Flores Magón, whom we consider an important reference of the internationalist anarchist struggle and who detested all kinds of government during his life, to appoint a station of the Mexican police repressors in Mexico City . We warn that we will burn the same station again and again until they stop staining his name in such an opprobrious way.

We also repudiate that the Government of Mexico use our comrade Magón in an attempt to make the imposition of its militarized government legitimate.

Chile: In view of the sentences requested by the prosecutors, solidarity and complicity with Monica and Francisco!

On July 24, 2020, comrades Monica and Francisco are arrested in two repressive operations. The authorities accuse Francisco of sending explosive packages against the former Minister of the Interior Rodrigo Hinzpeter and the 54th police station of Huechuraba (Action occurred on July 24, 2019, claimed by “Cómplices Sediciosos/Facción para la Venganza”), while both are accused of the double explosive attack against the Edificio Tánica in the commune of Vitacura (Action occurred in full revolt, on February 27, 2020, claimed by “Afinidades Armadas en Revuelta”).

During these more than two years of imprisonment, Monica has remained in the module of public connotation of the San Miguel prison while Francisco was initially imprisoned in the maximum security section of the CAS but then transferred, along with other comrades, in June 2021 to the La Gonzalina prison in Rancagua, where he is currently being held.

It is fundamental to emphasize that both of them in this time of confinement have been a permanent contribution to the anarchist and social war debates through their writings, communiqués and articles, realizing that prison is not the end of anything but another trench from where to give continuity to the insurrectional struggle and that its walls, bars and cages are not enough to break the solidarity and complicity among the anarchists. It is also from that place where we must situate that Francisco assumed the facts he is accused of, thus giving validity and validity to an anarchism of offensive action and the need for the continuity of his blows. We have always prioritized not having intermediaries when it comes to communicating, that no one speaks for us and in these days that we will be two years since those who support the hegemony of power and force locked us in these concrete pits called prisons, will be no exception.

This second year of imprisonment will bring with it the end of the investigative period of our legal process, that is to say that the period in which the prosecution and the ten prosecutors could gather information against us, will end. The closing of the investigation opens an intermediate process prior to the trial.

The judicial investigation against us has spared no resources; the police have made great efforts not to leave any loose end. The aim with us is to give an exemplary sentence that will frighten anyone who makes the practice of political violence their own, especially with regard to the placing and sending of explosive devices. Furthermore, we are not unknown to the powerful; on more than one occasion we have been seated in the dock, and in all of them we have made clear our anarchic position. Our current legal situation is closely linked to our previous judicial processes.

We are self-critical with respect to our mistakes at the time of our actions, each one of them are part of our experience and learning, which we hope will also serve for others. Last Wednesday 07/13, a rally was held outside the women’s prison in San Miguel (Chile) demanding that the minimum conditions of health care be met, due to the prohibition of using the patio during the hours that correspond to the female prisoners, etc. Thus dozens of fighters, activists and fellow militants from the October 18 Coordinator were present to denounce this situation that is being experienced in the women’s prison.

On the outskirts of the latter, the bars of the gates were banged loudly so that the political prisoners of this damn government of Boric and the Chilean Communist Party could hear from inside. Likewise, a letter from the political prisoner Monica Caballero was read; from the Coordinator for the Freedom of Political Prisoners on October 18, words were also expressed and from the International Network for the Freedom of Political Prisoners and Justice for Our Martyrs we were as well part of this demonstration carrying the brave voice of Giannis Michaidilis, a Greek political prisoner who has been on a hunger strike for more than 40 days fighting for his freedom against the bourgeois state and the damned justice of the Troika.

The reason is the bourgeois states, their damned justice, whether it is the Pinochetista one or the imperialist Troika’s one, are there to persecute, condemn and intimidate the workers in struggle, the rebellious youth who fight against this capitalist system and all those who face governments and exploitative regimes.

The fight to free Giannis, all the young Greek and Chilean rebels, and all the political prisoners in the world must be one and the same fight.

Santiago, Chile: Explosive attack against Belasco construction company in Las Condes + Claim by “Grupo de Acción 6 de Julio-Nueva Subversión”

During the night of Tuesday, July 5, around 23:00hrs an anonymous cyclist was riding through the wealthy streets of Las Condes to stop at the intersection of Ebro and Encomenderos.

In the place is located the corporate building of the construction company Belasco, the anonymous cyclist manages to enter a small package through the fence to give towards the interior of the building. After a few minutes, the device explodes, causing damage to the facade, mainly to the pillar, the entrance gate and glass of the building.

The unknown silhouette manages to continue its course without any problem or being detected. The typical police personnel for these events arrive at the place: GOPE, LABOCAR, OS-9 in charge of the already traditional Fiscalia Sur, self-styled expert for these cases.

From the progressive government, the Minister of the Interior Izkia Siches said: “the investigations are in progress, I am aware of it and we hope that they will be able to give a quick account. These are facts that we obviously reject as a government and we hope they will not be repeated in our country”.

For his part, the Undersecretary of the Interior, Manuel Monsalve, said: “We must not anticipate judgments, there are audiovisual images of the person who placed the explosive device, with respect to the company Besalco”. Santiago, Chile: Arson attack against telecommunications antenna

It has been 13 years since our comrade Mauricio Morales, the punky, left his earthly life in the midst of the offensive that with courage and will he raised against the tortured bastards of the gendarmerie school. Unfortunately, the explosive device he was carrying started earlier than expected, generating the consequences already known by many. We embrace punky and his actions from the depths of our irreducible spirit, meeting him on different fronts: against prisons, capital, speciesism and civilization.

It is in this last front, responding to the call to raise the memory of punky in this Black May, is that we have decided to attack a telecommunications antenna of the Entel company, located on a hill in the commune of Puente Alto, in the capital of the territory dominated by the Chilean state. We are and will always be against the advance of technology and the digitalization of our lives. The existence of these means the exploitation and devastation of the ñuke mapu, the extraction of its minerals through the genocide of wild species in pursuit of the filthy commodities needed by the warriors to reproduce their cursed existence. Antennas like this one erode their natural environment, both at the time of their installation, as well as in the recurrent maintenance they require. Moreover, the effects on the different beings produced by a world overloaded with electromagnetic waves through these antennas and new technologies such as the 5G network are doubtful. We are not scientists nor do we pretend to prove that they do harm, but the invitation of our instinct to destroy them is enough for us. Santiago, Chile: (Updated) Explosive Attack against Gendarmerie Officers Circle in Retirement + Claim of “Célula Insurreccional 2 de Noviembre”.

During the early morning of May 26, 2022, around 1:00 a.m., two hooded men ride a bicycle to the building where the miserable torturers “in retirement” remain. The Circle of Gendarmerie Officials in Retirement (CIRGENCHI), located in José Toribio Medina # 72, in the heart of downtown Santiago.

The unknown persons left a device to leave quickly without being detected or attracting attention. Soon after, a loud explosion occurs, alerting the neighbors, without causing any damage or injuries.

Police personnel quickly arrived and the case was taken to the South Prosecutor’s Office, which delegated its proceedings to personnel from GOPE, LABOCAR and OS9. At first it was reported that a fire extinguisher with its normal chemical powder charge was found in the place, but with the passing of time this information will be denied by the protagonists.

The attack is claimed by the “Célula Insurreccional 2 de Noviembre” through e-mails to different counter-information pages, specifying the explosive nature of the device, as well as directly linking the action to the commemoration of the death of Mauricio Morales in 2009 and the urgent campaign for the release of Marcelo Villarroel, imprisoned by the convictions of the Military Prosecutor’s Office.
It is also noted that this attack was carried out in coordination with the arson attack on the medialuna of the commune of Pedro Aguirre Cerda, by the Grupo de Respuesta Animal (Animal Response Group).

The attack of May 2022 is not the first against this enclosure, already at the end of April 2016 the Autonomous Fraction “Sole y Baleno” carried out an arson attack against the same Circle of Gendarmerie Officials in Retiro, generating considerable damages.

As time moves on and the seasons change, we approach once again the June 11th International Day of Solidarity with Marius Mason & All Long-Term Anarchist Prisoners. Another year has passed, and many of our dear comrades remain captives of the state, subject to its daily subjugation, isolation, and brutality. June 11th is a time to stop the ever-quickening rush of our lives and remember.

Remember our imprisoned comrades. Remember our own histories of revolt. Remember the flame – sometimes flickering, sometimes blazing – of anarchism.

WE ARE ALL POTENTIAL PRISONERS

With June 11th, we desire to deepen a critique of prison that challenges the distinction between prisoner and supporter. For us, these differences are conditional: we, as anarchists, see ourselves as potential prisoners. Some of us have been, some of us will be. This is the basis of our solidarity – a recognition of ourselves in the plight of those in prison.

The continuum of prisoner and supporter can only be seen as tenuous if one looks to the examples of imprisoned and formerly-imprisoned comrades: Marius Mason’s activity with the Anarchist Black Cross, Bill Dunne’s liberation of an anarchist prisoner, Pola Roupa’s attempted helicopter rescue of anarchist prisoners, Claudio Lavazza‘s actions to liberate prisoners. The connections deepen when one considers that numerous anarchist prisoners are locked up for attacks on prison, judicial, and police institutions; and that others connect us to prisoner uprisings from California and Alabama to Greece and Italy. A year ago, at this time, we were conducting a hunger strike that lasted 50 days demanding the repeal of the amendments to DL 321, the annulment of the sentences of military prosecution and thus the release to the street of our comrade Marcelo Villarroel.

Today we give a new impulse to this struggle, which is fully in force, persisting as a collective priority in the return to the street of Marcelo, in whom are condensed clear and unacceptable legal aberrations that go beyond the very legality of power.

Marcelo was arrested in Argentina in March 2008 where he spent 22 months in prison, then he was expelled to Chile and today he is just over a year and a half away from serving a 14-year sentence for two bank robberies carried out in 2007, the comrade is also being held captive by a series of sentences from the early 90’s issued by the military prosecutors of Pinochet that amount to more than 46 years and with this they intend to bury him in prison perpetuating his sentences in the midst of an unacceptable complicit silence of all the structures that affirm the political, legal, police and penitentiary framework of the Chilean state. Greece: Direct Action Cells – Responsibility claim for a barrage of incendiary attacks in Athens and Thessaloniki

Revolution or Barbarism

In recent years our days have been filled with news of deaths, with numbers of dead, with the words of “experts” who command arrogantly and boastfully from the power they have been given. They are filled with unreasonable orders and outrageous government impositions. We do not intend to extensively analyze positions on the health crisis. The tragic shortages of medical personnel, equipment and infrastructure, the “stain” of 100 deaths a day, i.e. the dire consequences of decades of privatization of public health care. The provocative strengthening of the private sector, exemplified by the big pharmaceutical companies and health giants, whose profits have reached historic highs. The re-emergence of the ‘strong’ state model to restore capitalist equilibria. The strengthening of centralised powers and the emergence of a new caste of all-round technocrats, with the role of abdicating and covering up the responsibilities of the state apparatus and shifting the responsibility for the spread of the virus to the individual. These are just some of the points that shape the management of the pandemic by the capitalist states.

Throughout the pandemic, the key issues that have dominated the public debate have been around public health, mental health and the effects of incarceration, the social exclusion of increasing segments of the population, growing class inequalities, the wider capitalist division of available resources, the role of science and technology, civil rights and the diminished role of bourgeois democracy in emergency situations.

The health crisis has affected in a universal way the relations constituting the social reproduction of capital. The inability of the social formation to reproduce the formed conditions of capitalist production led to an ideological crisis of the applied model of neoliberalism, while at the same time, following the dictum that “for capitalism every crisis is an opportunity”, it served as a key tool for the organised transition to a new era. The capitalist restructuring under way is the huge-scale operation to rescue a system that is plunging into chain crises of a structural nature. It is also the attempt to move capitalism into a new phase, something that its apologists of all kinds openly admit. It is a given that the contradictions that are developing within societies, states and big bosses will be on a trajectory of bloody conflicts in the coming years. The emergence of a powerful bloc within the imperialist bourgeoisies, consisting of the owners of the great technological giants, with the decisive potential for extracting cultural hegemony, is shaping a historical intersection in which the passage to the new capitalist formation will universally determine the lives, habits and lifestyles of the social majority. In the new totalitarian capitalist world that is emerging, the possession of information (data) will be (to an even greater extent than now) only one of the many fields of profitability of these oligarchs, who, in addition to the sharp increase in their profits, will concentrate even greater powers in their hands. On the other hand, those who live within the hyper-connected metropolises will literally become fully exploitable commodities, as they will not only sell their labour power, but every field of social, personal, consumer, recreational interest will be a profitable process for capital, they will constitute an uninterrupted flow of data. Every click, every piece of information unlocked by the algorithms on their screens will fill the pockets of their provider with profit in an endless game of exploitation and total control of every aspect of human activity.
