Note from InformantivoAnarquista
With regard to the hunger strike of the anarchist comrade Alfredo Cospito, it seems important to us to collect and value our anarchist history, to reread, reflect and sharpen our denials. Alfredo Cospito and Anna Beniamino today face a new labyrinth of the judicial inquisition, trying to impose the article of political massacre to bury stories, experiences, courage, bravery and desire for freedom with life sentences and long sentences.
16 years ago took place the clandestine conversation that we are spreading, we resort to the timelessness of the ideas and reflections that arise in the course of the fraternal dialogue, it also allows us to recognize the comrades as beings close to us, neither heroes nor perfect militants, nor guerrillas coming down from the plain… the revolt is contagious and exponentially reproducible, we can all contribute and recognize our absence.
Some of the comrades who belong to the original groups of the FAI Informal Anarchist Federation have decided to discuss a few points and to make the transcription of the discussion known. There are some omissions due to security reasons, but in the whole the transcription reflects the direct and informal tone of the conversation, which avoids all formalisms just as we do in our life…
These groups take part in the discussion: ‘Crafts and Fire Cooperative’, ‘July 20 Brigade’, ‘Cells against Capital, its Prisons, its Jailers and its Cells’, and ‘International Solidarity’.
QUI: I like Pippo’s idea to record and write down our conversation, Quo and Qua like it too. We think it is worthwhile even if we risk to be caught (touching wood). What counts is that Pippo takes off what doesn’t have to be written and destroys the recording.
PIPPO: My idea was to make some points known, points that normally we have never clarified and that make us angry sometimes…yes, when we hear or read comments about us…in other words we need to show to this fucking movement that we are not ghosts coming from nothing (laughers…’hey, did you see you?’). We need to show to them that we think it very carefully before carrying out an action and that we leave very little to chance. Our actions are not indiscriminate, on the contrary they are so controlled that we haven’t managed to do what we really want yet…(laughers). Then there’s nothing obscure or clandestine in our way of life. Most of us come from the movement. Live inside it and know that reality. Some even come from shit situations. let me tell you that Paperino. I don’t know how you can do…
PAPERINO: Forget it, it’s a long story…
PIPPO: Alright, I explain better. Sometimes it happens that I read or hear very horrible comments on our activity, for example that we are ‘provocateurs’ or ‘secret services’ not to mention their partial and blind general vision of what we do and say. If we write down the content of this encounter we might make some of our dynamics clearer…this is also for the comrades of other FAI groups that we don’t know.
NONNA PAPERA: I’m not sure about writing down this discussion. Maybe a self-interview would be better: each group answers questions decided by everybody. In this way we avoid a transcription that would be incorrect for security reasons.
PAPERINA: I don’t think so. The meeting written on paper is more spontaneous and clarifying. We will make some corrections, pass it to the other groups and then it will be ready to be spread in a couple of weeks.
Paperino and I will print and send it, you know, we’ve got a new PC …
QUI: Let’s see which points we need to discuss. This might help us to understand better and then I’m willing to communicate with the groups that followed us in the FAI. We can reach them in this way and they can communicate with the same method.
ARCHIMEDE: I think that a very good point of this experience is experimentation, that is to say I put in practice things that I only talked about before, yes, to join thought: and action and to avoid that schizophrenic dualism between what is said and what is done. Then there exists another form of schizophrenia. a deeper alienation: the fact that you can’t talk openly to the comrades who surround you and who are not part of our groups, you can’t say what you really think or you risk exposing yourself and putting the comrades in danger. In other words, this caution, the fact that I can’t shout what I would like, is killing me.
QUA: Well, I feel the same but I don’t suffer out of that. To come back to the document….how are we going to spread it? There’s not much anarchist press and those who are willing to publish certain documents are very few…and then it is not fair to turn the comrades into targets for repression, as it often happens. Not to mention those who faint as soon as they read certain things or run to the cops…
Internet is a problem for us. we are not IT experts. And then, after the lndymedia server was searched because they published our claim of the bombs to the EU, it is very difficult that someone wants to publish our writing… Continue reading ““Conspiracy and Subversion”, a conversation of the Informal Anarchist Federation (2006) + Letter to the various realities of the informal FAI. Words of comrade Marcelo Villarroel from prison. From Chile to Italy –
A loud cry of insurrectional complicity for Alfredo Cóspito!!!
Alfredo Cóspito is an anarchist comrade from Turin imprisoned since September 2012 after the kneecapping of Roberto Adinolfi (on May 7), executive director of Italian nuclear company Ansaldo Nucleare. This act claimed by the “Olga” Cell Informal Anarchist Federation / International Revolutionary Front for which he was sentenced to 10 years and 8 months. He was also sentenced to 20 years (first degree), for the explosive attack on the Carabinieri training school in Fossano (Cuneo) on June 2, 2006, claimed by Terrible Anonymous Revolt – Informal Anarchist Federation, which provoked the state response through the operation “Scripta Manent”.
Alfredo has been an anarchist comrade in active praxis for decades. Always consistent with his anti-authoritarian projectuality, he has maintained several antagonistic initiatives for which, even though he has been in prison for more than 10 years, the Italian fascist state does not forgive him.
In May of this year he was transferred to the Bancali prison in Sardinia where he was locked up under the 41 bis extreme isolation regime.
This prison regime was the Italian state’s response in 1992 to the rising violence of the mafia.
Since then, political prisoners of the Red Brigades have also been imprisoned under the same regime. Continue reading “$hile: From Chile to Italy. A loud cry of insurrectional complicity for Alfredo Cóspito (Marcelo Villarroel)”
We extend the call for an international campaign in solidarity with comrade Alfredo Cospito during the week of January 22-28. More than 80 days after the beginning of his hunger strike against the 41 bis regime, it is urgent for us to deepen and multiply the gestures of internationalist solidarity and to deploy all our forces against all expressions of domination. We hope that this initiative can be translated and disseminated to all anti-authoritarian comrades throughout the world. We also hope that this campaign will go beyond the walls that isolate comrade Alfredo and that he will feel all our solidarity and complicity in war. LET’S NOT LEAVE ALFREDO ALONE!
END TO THE REGIME 41 BIS!
FREEDOM TO ALFREDO COSPITO!
LONG LIVE THE BLACK INTERNATIONAL!
DEATH TO THE STATE & LONG LIVE ANARCHY!

Note: The events that are claimed below happened on November 4 of last year, and their late date is explained by the fact that, in the words of the comrades themselves, it is “to be able to remember it with the aroma of the passing of time and to begin a new year of subversion and explosions.”

Santiago, Chile: Bus set on fire outside the Ex-pedagógico (UMCE) and armed confrontation against special forces of carabineros for the iconoclastic memory of Kevin Garrido and in solidarity with Alfredo Cospito and the comrades of the Susaron Case. (04/11/2022).
“We speak of a new war, a new partisan war. Without front or uniform, without army or decisive battle. A war in which the focal points are deployed far from the mercantile flows, although they are connected to them. We speak of a totally latent war. That has time. Of a war of position. Which is being waged where we are. In the name of no one. In the name of our own existence, which has no name” (How to do? Tiqqun).
About the action.
During a quiet and bohemian Friday afternoon at the Ex Pedagógico, while the citizen/student mass lives its lethargic and alienated youthful fun, a violent direct action took place. This action is framed within the so-called “Black November”, where it is informally called to commemorate the life and death of comrade Kevin Garrido through the violent, diffuse and multiform attack. The action begins with our exit through the front of the university to proceed to cut off vehicular traffic in the area. We set up a barricade of tires and debris that we lit at the moment of intercepting a public transport bus. Our intention was to cross the bus horizontally to the street in order to cut off all traffic, however the driver of the vehicle blocked its driving, so we proceeded to set it on fire at the place of its interception with accelerating liquids. Without intending to harm the mass of citizens, we were constantly rebuked and repudiated for this action. We did not care and we responded verbally to their desperate insults and we were attentive to any onslaught that could emerge from any individual-citizen-cop with a craving for civil heroism, we shit on those people who, upon seeing armed comrades, dare to insult them, believing themselves -imbecilically- untouchable, voluntarily putting their physical integrity at risk in front of us. After this eventful moment, we entered the campus to wait for the police deployment and to receive it with all our strength: thunderous gunshots and a rain of Molotov cocktails hit the bodies of the squad of henchmen who naively took cover on the corner of Juan Gómez Millas street while the armored cars crossed the street. They clearly did not expect our means of attack to put their miserable lives at risk, which left a couple of policemen on the ground (apparently wounded by the shots) and provoked an almost immediate response: they shot at us with their service weapons and gassed the entire area of the front gate. After this counterattack, we used and unloaded all our material and disappeared fleetingly from the place.
Motivations.
This action -as we mentioned before- is part of the international campaign for a Black November in memory of the savage iconoclast Kevin Garrido, 4 years after his murder in the Santiago 1 prison. It is also a blow to the gears of capital that subject all forms of life to a lethargy of normality/passivity typical of a counterinsurgent period catalyzed by the democratic mechanisms of a social democratic government that has established an atmosphere of post-transition.
We abhor this reality and have no hope of reforming it, whether for democratic or “revolutionary” ends, so we attack it. Besides, hope (even the “hope of revolution”) is just that: hope. We do not hope. We attack… “when hope dies, action begins” (Beyond Hope, Derrick Jensen). Let those who still believe in social and human redemption wait while their social bases are camouflaged according to the dictates of the government of the day. We no longer believe. We do not even believe in the Social Revolution that the prophets of anarchy occupy to embellish their babbling tongues and project a false image on the depressing reality of this world. We deny it. “The idea of “progress” is central to the modern Western paradigm in which the assumption that the whole world is moving towards an ever better future predominates. The idea of the inevitability or possibility of a global libertarian future arises from that belief” (“Desert”, anonymous). We leave theoretical fables for the masturbatory leisure of academics. We are not part of any revolutionary tradition that dictates and imposes our practical work. Our action is Pleasure through destruction. We live our anarchy today and not in a “revolutionary” tomorrow.
Perhaps a burned bus, a few Molotovs and a couple of bullets will not put an end to domination. However, we prefer to contribute decisively to its destruction without any consequences. Our freedom is found in the attack, because it is only when we untie the chains of morality and the servitude of capital and decide to take action, that we conquer that freedom of which the old and dusty philosophy books talk so much. Since 20/10 Alfredo Cospito has been on hunger strike against the prison regime imposed on him by the Italian state, under the name 41 bis. Alfredo Cospito has been a prisoner since 2012, having taken responsibility for the shooting of Roberto Adinolfi, director of Ansaldo Nucleare, an action carried out by the Informal Anarchist Federation/International Revolutionary Front (FAI/IRF). Since then the comrade remains unrepentant and continues to be committed to the cause of social liberation. For this reason, the Italian state decided to impose the 41 bis regime on him from 5 May, a prison within a prison where he will be in solitary confinement for 23 hours a day, with one hour of pre-trial detention and meeting with other prisoners, who will be decided by the prison management, imposing full control over him, including which of his fellow prisoners he will associate with. Communication with friends and relatives will be limited to one hourly meeting per month, behind glass, or a 10-minute telephone call where the relative will have to make it from a police station or another prison. His right to possession of books and printed materials is also restricted, as is his correspondence. The exemption regime imposed by the Italian State on political prisoners and detainees through the 41 bis is now promoted for the entire consideration of the sentence and not the 4 years for which it was originally valid.
41 bis is a regime of political, social and sensory extermination, aimed at the complete elimination of all contact with the outside world. The aim is none other than the physical and moral extermination of those who choose the path of revolutionary vigilante justice against the tyranny of the state and capital. The extermination or the forcing of them to renounce their action is the essence of the laws of bourgeois justice, the so-called “anti-terrorist” laws, which provide for special conditions, wards and detention centres, isolation, torture and exterminating sentences, intended primarily for revolutionary organisations and their members, as many as the states label terrorists.
This is where the double contradiction of state terrorism emerges. First, it labels as terrorists those who rebel against the class-imposed terrorism of the rulers, reserving physical and moral extermination through its mechanisms, and at the same time the same mechanisms do not recognise the status of political prisoner or political opponent in those whom they try to exterminate. The State, therefore, cannot do real justice because it cannot speak the truth. Bourgeois “justice” is nothing but a mechanism for imposing and perpetuating class power over society.
Since the 1960s and its own storming of the heavens, the archipelago of the revolutionary, antagonistic movement on Italian soil, with armed guarded marches, occupations of factories and houses, self-motivations, organization of armed feminist movements and revolutionary organizations has proved that nothing is unattainable. From the actions of the BR/PCC in the 90s and 00s, to the attacks of the FAI/IRF and comrade Alfredo Cospito, the revolutionary thread continues to be woven with acts of resistance and emancipation that actively declare that nothing is over, and that revolutionary projects and visions remain relevant and alive in the ranks of the oppressed. And it is this thread, the historical continuity and memory that the fascist Meloni government, and every government before it, wants to silence and eradicate. The Italian state, faced with the archipelago of the revolutionary movement in its territories, has been forced to develop a series of repressive and counterinsurgency tools for decades, of which the 41 bis regime is an evolution. To this day, with the life-long imposition of the 41 bis torture regime, the Italian state is clearly leading its political opponents, those who try to do justice for the oppressed, into isolation and torture.
